Alabama's Weathers Wins SEC Scholar-Athlete Award

As a senior nursing major and team leader, she ranks third and scoring at 9.7 points per game while topping the Crimson Tide in rebounds. With 6.1, assists at 3.3 and steals at 1.6 per contest. Beyond the court, Weathers shines academically with a 3.99 grade point average. She has made the Deans her president's list for eight straight semesters and logged over 360 hours of clinical work. She also landed a spot on the SEC Community Service team and leads Alabama in minutes played after starting all 30 games this season. Jessica Timbins picked up the team's other big honor, making the SEC second team. She led Alabama and scoring with 16.8 points per game, hitting double figures in 25 outings and topping 20 points in 10 of. The Crimson Tide wrapped the regular season with a loss to Texas.
