Alabama Police Shoot Man During Warrant Service

0:00In Birmingham, it's March 11th. Here's what is happening. Alabama police officers shot a 44-year-old man in James R. McCarter while trying to serve warrants at a home in Alabama on Tuesday. The incident happened around 12.40 pm, off-Simsville Road, where officers ran into McCarter during the service attempt, leading one officer, to fire their weapon and strike him. McCarter was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries police say are not life-threatening, when he's now in stable condition with no officers heard in, the process. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has taken over the investigation and plans to hand its findings to the Shelby County District Attorney's Office for review.
