Alabama Butterbean Festival Ends After 20 Years

After 20 years, the Alabama Butterbeam Festival in Pinson is coming to an end, as announced on their website and social media. The event kicked off in 2006 as a small community gathering and grew into a major draw, with live music, carnival rides, fair food, car, shows, petting zoos, and plenty of butterbeams. These inventors are heartbroken over the news, sharing memories of family traditions and calling it a signature event for the area. Back in 2010, the festival even set a Guinness World Record for the largest pot of big beans at over 1,000 gallons.
