Alabama Authorities Name Man in Police Shooting

McCarter, from Alabama, was hit by gunfire around 12.40pm on March 10th. Officers from the Alabama Police Department were at a home of Simsville Road to serve and arrest warrant when the incident happened. McCarter made it to a nearby hospital with injuries that do not appear life-threatening. None of the officers got hurt in the exchange. The Alabama law enforcement agency stepped in to investigate at the police department's request. Their state bureau of investigation is handling the case independently.
