From Birmingham, this is your March 12th update. A 21-year-old man from Center Alabama faces 126 charges for possessing and attempting to possess child sex abuse. Material. Authorities say some of the images were created or altered using artificial intelligence. Malachi Ray Sipsi was arrested after police linked him to explicit content shared online. The case started back in January 2026 when investigators got a cybertip from the internet crimes against children task force. That alert pointed to social media activity and gave enough details to zero in on a suspect's address in center. With help from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, police got a search warrant and seized several electronic devices from Sipsi's home. As they dug into the gadgets, more evidence piled up. Examiner's found actual videos of child sex abuse along with dozens of manipulated photos boosted by AI tech. More charges are for stray possession, while the rest 122 counts cover attempts.

Law enforcement is urging parents to monitor their kids' phones closely, set social media to private and add strict parental controls to keep things. Safe online.
