Age Plus Experience Equals Confidence, Right? - Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites Podcast
About this episode
Are you a confident person?
Before you answer that, how old are you? If you’re between 20 and 30, your self-esteem is just over 50% of what it will be when you’re between 50 and 60.
Why is that? Because the more life you lead, the more you prove to yourself that you can handle stuff. Confidence grows with age because we gain more perspective, in addition to learning that many problems aren’t even ours to fix!
When you know you can learn new things, you gain confidence. When you do something successfully, you gain confidence. Being confident doesn’t mean you think you’re better than others. Being confident means you are the quiet master of your day, no matter what it throws at you.
