Because it's more like outdoorsy. Yeah, yeah, and more adventurous. Yeah, tired of it. Because I was trying to picture you in LA with all the places that you grew up. Right? And I was like, would you like LA? I like my house. Yeah. Like I usually, if I'm in LA, I don't leave my house. So where do you go that you like? I mean, Chateau. Because it's three minutes away from my house. Oh, so you are,

2:05so you're in that air? I'm in the hill. Oh, I like that. Yeah. That's what I like. Mm-hmm. So I took an Airbnb in the hills and I was like, okay, this is the life. It's the life. Because you see the view, right? Right. And then you're like, I'm in the city, but I'm not really in the city. Like I get deer in my house. There's coyotes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're not mine, but they just come and visit. I have a bunch of birds. I have three birds or another. I have three little nests at my house right now. So it's cute. It makes me feel like I'm not necessarily a little bit like in nature. In nature. Yeah. And I have to be in nature. That's true. The minutes, like the view changes really everything. I agree. I lived in New York for like five years, and I love New York because it's social and you never want to be inside and you make friends kind of everywhere you go. There's always a plan. There's always something to do. And if there isn't, you just like walk and all of a sudden you're doing something funny. But nature, I got a nature. Yeah, I was like, I can't. I feel like I'm going to concrete jungle. And I already have that like go go go mentality. Yeah. That New York was like amplifying that. I was like, I'm going

3:09to have a heart attack. Like I need to go somewhere. It was giving you anxiety. It was giving me anxiety big time. Where did you live when you were here? What area? 24th and Lexington and like a shoe box. Right. We're so close to where we are now. Where are we now? We're in flat iron. Right now. We're in literally 25th and so we're doing. You know where you are? Did you work? I also put in over a jazz. Okay. But yeah, it's flat iron. So yeah, you're in the hood that you were. Okay, that's a good area for just moving to New York. Well, I had an apartment in the and downtown got kicked out in the middle of the night one day. I was paying like nothing. It was paying like $500 a month of rent or something, which I already thought I was like this is too good to be true. And I was woken up in the middle of the night from the owner because I wasn't allowed to be there. It was like a weird realtor realtor. How did you say that? Reholder? You said it so good. Okay, realtor. Rented me this apartment. Choose a friend of the owners

4:10but never told the owner. And he came back from like holiday three weeks later. And I was sleeping in his house and his house was completely renovated. Like he had all my stuff. I like buck candles. I bought blankets. I bought like was it a one bedroom? It was a one bedroom. So who woke you up? This man because he had the key and he was like, what the fuck are you doing here? We get out. He's like married has kids. He's like, I don't this looks bad. And I was like, oh shit. I'm so sorry. I freaked out. He was so nice. He had daughters. So he like understood my situation. But also was like, I'm gonna go downstairs in the lobby. You gotta pack up and get the fuck out of here. And he like called his wife. I'm freaking out. And I stayed in a hotel for like a couple nights. So you know, money. Wait, you were how old when you moved to New York? 18 or 19. I was a baby. And you were by yourself? Living in the farm by yourself at 18. Sound so scary. It was terrifying. Terrifying. But also so fun. I've always been a little bit independent. So like felt, I don't know, I felt I felt good. Like I'm doing this thing. I'm doing

5:15this thing. I'm like, I'm doing it on my own. I'm here. I'm hustling. And it allowed me kind of to focus. I grew up really taking care of my mom and my brother. So I always had like a priority. Mom, brother, mom, brother, mom, brother. And your brother is younger. My brother is younger. And when I moved to New York, it was just me. I was like, oh my god. I just all I have to do now is just take care of myself. Why were you the one taking care of your mom and your brother? My mom. Actually, I've never said this. My mom's, I think 14 years sober. Oh, yeah. Great. Yeah. So there was a lot of taking care of. So there was a lot of taking care of. So you grew up fast. I had to grow up fast. I had to grow fast. Okay. So by 18, you were like, I can do this because I've been doing this. All you've been doing this. Yeah. I'm like, I got this. Did they come out of Visio? Yes. Yeah. They came all the time. My brother came. My mom came. My dad would come all the time to just like check things out. Funny enough, my dad, every time he came over, he would always open the fridge. It's the first thing to see if you were like, what was I eating? He was like very, it's very Latin

6:18American to be like, are you are you eating and were you? I mean, what I had was like savage. It was like tuna cans. You weren't cooking. Tuna cans in the fridge, by the way, which is crazy. Like open tuna cans. It was not healthy. Yeah. I had like a bunch of cereal, some eggs that I never cooked. Do you cook now? Not really. Not really. Can't listen. This is what I say. Can't be perfect. You know, I came from a family of none of the women in my family cook, which is crazy. Really? My mom doesn't cook. My two grandmothers didn't cook. But all the men cook. Love it. So I was like, okay, I think we're. We're a dad here. Your music star, dad cooked or not? Yeah, he cooks. He does. Cooks a meanest crepes in the world. And you never got the the edge to learn. I mean, I can cook. I'm going to survive. You know, I cook. I just cook really healthy and no one really likes to eat my food. I go to the chicken soup once and literally my boyfriend was like,

7:22this tastes like chicken sweat. Like it doesn't taste like anything. Did you think it tasted bad? No. Yeah. Yeah. It was horrible. It was like drinking water that slightly tasted like chicken. That's the problem with cooking healthy. Yeah. It's not going to be good. I'll get like, because you're into eating healthy, do you get that on your for-do page? Just like healthy meals? You can make. I don't know. I get, but I don't like eating healthy. Oh, okay. No. I mean, I do eat. When I'm working, I have to. Because I've just find like, my food is fuel and then I don't want to get puffy and all that boring stuff. I heard you say anything. No, you're saying puffy now, but I saw some video you did for like one of those things where you do your makeup on that thing. Oh, yeah. And you said poofy. And I really related to that because I feel like I say poofy too. I say poofy too. But you said puffy now. I know because I'm learning. I'm articulate. Sorry. I'm articulating my words now through this press junk. No, don't. What you have? You like to have people correct you? Yeah, I do like the correction because I make up some gnarly shit. I'm like, and I go for bilingual. I'm bilingual.

8:27Yeah. Spanish is my first, like I think in Spanish. I sometimes find myself translating when I'm speaking English. So people just look at me like, she's a little slow. But I'm just like, what's the word? What's the word? What's the word? Oh, yeah. Here you go. And probably there are a lot of words that we don't have that you wish we had. Yeah. And also English words sometimes are very confusing. It's like two similar things, but mean different things. Right. Yeah. And we don't have any like good loving words, I feel. Do you know what I mean? I love you. And everybody says I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. Or like babe. What else do we have? Like me amor. Me amor mi corazón mi vida. And I'm not going to be like my life. That's weird. Why don't we have my life? My life. My heart. Like right. It gets corny really fast. In English. Yeah. And Spanish is not as English as in our romantic language. It's quite dry. And Spanish is. Yeah. You know, I was just listening to what is comedian who is from the Dominican Republic.

9:28Marcelo. You know, Marcelo. Yes, I know him. And he was saying, I wonder if you agree with this because he was saying that he thinks it's so funny to be a kid who speaks Spanish because it like sounds proper. And he's like, you don't say like my tongue. He's like, we don't have a word for tummy. He's like, we have to say like my stomach is in pain. Yeah. He's like, you have to say like my stomach is in pain. That is so true. I mean, I mean, Bansita. Bansa. But I guess it depends because I grew up all over. And like in Guatemala, there's certain words in Cuba where Marcel goes from or he's half Cuban have Dominican, right? Right. He has Cuban in this family. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Well, either way, like Cuban or Dominican, there's different words. Puerto Rico has different words. Right. So even between us, we don't even understand ourselves. Right. I'm like, I don't know. And they're like, South Acorn. And they're like, South Acorn. That was a South Acorn. And it's a garbage can. And they're like, okay. And that's a Puerto Rican. Very Puerto Rican. Very Puerto Rican. So you were born in

10:29Puerto Rico. Move to Mexico City. Move to Mexico City. Then in Miami. Yeah. And then Guadamala you just have Guadamala's. Yeah, I would go for Christmas and summer break. And I would go like twice with Guadamala in your family. Your dad is the Guadamala. Yeah. And as Latina as they come. Your eyes as they come. So what are you most connected to? It's a question that I get asked all the time. I love. It's so different. Like, would you say I'm Puerto Rican? Yeah, I'll say I'm Puerto. Yeah. Yeah. I was born there. Yeah. Obviously, I'm like, yeah, I'm Puerto Rican. But I usually follow that up with I'm also have Guadamala. Yeah. Also really attached to my Guadamala roots. Yeah. It's and when I think when you grow up on the road, you don't really have like an anchor. Say, Malsa, I grew up in Mexico and I have so much of me come from Mexican culture. And you're just like a little bit of everything. It's a lot and it's really confusing. And when I was little, it was like just I just felt like a little displaced. I was like, I'm Puerto Rican,

11:32but I say no, Mames. And they're like, why? What's no, Mames? No, Mames is like, are you kidding? And it's a very Mexican term. So when I speak Spanish, people are like, you say that like you're kidding. Like that. Like no, Mames. No, Mames. No, Mames. Oh, you say, do you know, Regina? She's Mexican. Yeah. So imagine I put a recon going, no, Mames. No, Mames, like they would say that. They're like, that's crazy. Or Alagran Puchica. And I go to Puerto Rico. They're like, what, what do you say puñeta? I'm like, well, Alagran Puchica is so guarmal. What is that mean? And Alagran Puchica is like, oh my god. Wait, wait, Arén la Puchica. Alagran Puchica. Alagran. Oh, like big. Yeah. Alagran Puchica. Puchica. Or you could just say Puchica or Alagran. I love Spanish. You should learn. You have a good accent. I, by the way, so where? I didn't even realize being a star. Where's my? I saw that red button. Wait, no, I'm obsessed. No, were you in

12:32your mind? Like is she ever going to say like action? No, I'm an actress. I need an action. Director in here. Okay. So yeah, we started. Oh cool. But I'll do the intro later. Oh, yeah, I don't like in front of your face to be like actress. You know what I mean? What's I want to say? Your name really like Adriana. Yes, that was good. I did a good best one of the day so far. Really? God, my name gets butchered so much. What do they say? Adria, Adria, Abigail. Abigail, I've gotten a geonia. Is it short for anything? Adria? Adria not only left me short. They left you short. Is it a common name in Puerto Rico? I've met like maybe two in my life. So Adria, a noisio? or no? Yeah. Okay. You want because what's the problem? Just say, ah, right? Yeah, just go like Adria. You say Aubrey, right? Like why can't you just go? Adria? I know you have no accent. Did you really work like I you've been working? I've been working. I also think like

13:34pressers because I speak English all the time. If you hear me in the morning, or right before bed, when you're still goofy, I'm booby. I don't want to sleep. Like I start talking like these. And that's like where I feel really comfortable, comfortable. Yeah. It's I have a pretty heavy accent. What did you work with like a coach? No, I heard a lot of like I watched friends that the office. I just had that like kind of on repeat. So okay, there were two expenses. The coach. But also why? Like who's saying that you need not have an accent? Well, when I first started, yeah, it was like your two Latina. And then now it's like, you're not Latina enough. What did you do with your accent? Do your accent. And I'm like, oh yeah, you just can't get it right. Like I had a director tell me that was amazing. Do that again. Less accent, less domesticated. How do you guys do that? So be less Latina. Is that where you I'm like, I was so confused by that. Yeah, that what did you do in that moment? Something very different than I think I would do today.

14:39I would just tell him what to be less Latina. Fuck off. That would be my response to it today. Yeah, I'd be like to be less mean to be less Latina. No, you should have hired somebody else. Yeah, what that's not my problem. It feels like a you problem. But no, I was like, okay, yeah, for sure. But other people heard it and it did become a thing. They they yeah, they reprimanded him for being mean. It is while the things that actors go through on there when they're coming up, right? Like the things you're kind of willing to take and because you want it so bad. Yeah, and also you don't really you're more than anything. It's like you just feel so lucky to be there. That you're like anybody they engrave this in your head. There's like not that anybody says it, but they do make you feel it. Where it's like anybody would die for this job. Oh, like devil, whereas Prada. Yeah, and you're just like, yeah, absolutely. I'll you know, I'll I'll shut up. When when did you know you wanted to do this growing up? I don't know. There's like a definitive moment. I speak to a lot of actors and everybody has

15:43like their one moment and I I don't you don't I don't know I I after being on tour with my dad, I moved to Miami and I just felt like kind of out of place. It wasn't my place. It wasn't my vibe. Didn't love it. I couldn't find myself an on tour. It was all about like arts and we would my dad loves photography and there was a lot of music and then all of a sudden I'm you know in a private school in Miami and I just I was like, whoa. This is such a culture shock. But then my dad and was like, I think you're sort of losing yourself. I started kind of talking inward. Like I just got really shy and he's like, go back to photography. Take a piano lesson, get back into dance and I did. I've been dancing my whole life and then the last one was, why don't you act and you know maybe learn how to speak up or whatever. And I did and I got the bug. I fell madly in love with it. I was like, I can be anything I want. It just was fascinating to

16:43me. Yeah. I started acting like during high school years. During high school. Yeah. And then you finished high school and you knew you wanted to move to New York and try to try to do it. I had a my acting teacher in New York and New York in Miami. I went to Miami acting studio. I don't know if it's still around and he kicked me out. What do you say? He was like, I think you're too good. You're gonna end up in soaps here and I think you're you're better. You can there's a there's a different future that I see for you. And he enrolled me in Least Raspberry. Well, he signed me up for the auditioning process for Least Raspberry. And then I went. Yeah. I did the audition and I was in New York maybe eight months later. So you started Least Raspberry. And then how do you because that's an acting school like do they come see do agents come see you or like how does it work? They send you it on the additions. Well, no, you're not allowed to work or audition when you're at Strasbourg because

17:44you're like in the process you can't necessarily represent the school. Yeah. Yeah. And so I was doing like a million jobs did every single job you can think of. And then when I go graduate, they're like so about your parents, your mom, your brother, everybody, there's tickets, there's $10 tickets or whatever it was at the time. And I was like, I just spent two and a half years working my ass out about the school and you want I'm you know, 20 something at I'm like 20 or 21. I'm like, I'm not a kid. I'm not a clown for like mommy and daddy to come watch for. I want to work here. And I'm like, Kindergarten. Kindergarten. Yeah. I'm like, what is my mom going to do? But I was it was so good. So I hired a publicist here in New York. I like Googled. It's expensive. So expensive. Yeah. So I asked we were like, I don't know how many kids or how many, yeah, kids 21 kids we were. And I asked everybody, I'm like, give me 30 bucks, give me 30 bucks, give me 30 bucks, give me 30 bucks. I want your headshot, your resume, everything. And if you have like a little

18:44CD or something that I can put in the envelope. And everybody paid 30 bucks and at the end of it, I had enough money to to pay the publicist. So she invited agents and managers and a lot of people got agents from this view. Yeah, from that. Because you were like everyone pitch in, I'm going to have this woman. Yeah. Bring in people to watch us. Yes. And that was you doing not the school, not the school. I think the school may be uses this publicist now. If I'm not mistaken. Why? Yes. Were you always like a hustler like this? I'm of always been a hustler. Always once a hustler always a hustler. Yeah. Wait, that's crazy. I was like, who do you might get a job? I'm like, I need a work. I need to get out of this tiny apartment. I'm sick and tired of being a waitress and doing events and caring, you know, adorbs, adorbs or however you say that adorbs. Did I say adorbs? You say the or or or or or adorbs adorbs. And yeah, I was tired. I was like, I just want to what did you get an agent from that night? I got I got

19:48a manager actually. You got a manager. Yeah. It started sending you on auditions right away. Right away. My first audition I booked your first audition you booked. I booked. It was for a person of interest. That's unknown. No, no, no, no, unforgettable. To me, let's show. What was your role? Just like a like a secretary and I walked in and had three lines. Did you get your like sag card? Yeah. So you booked your first audition. Does that feel like, wait, I'm amazing. Like, what does that feel like for your ego? It felt great. I think more than anything, it felt good that I am proving myself to this manager. Yeah. He sent me out. I'm like, oh, now he's going to send me out to like bigger stuff. And then I didn't book anything for ever. It was so long. It was just no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, in New York, you were doing this. In New York, but you kept going. Oh, yeah, kept going. And then I booked a person of interest with a cavizel did that. And then they asked me to come back for like a series regular or something.

20:52And I was like, I'm so sorry. I can't. I'm going to be intru detective. And they're like, oh, my God, congratulations. That's huge. HBO. The first season was amazing. And I was like, no, no, I don't have the job yet. I just know that I'm going to get it. And I can't be a guest star. You didn't want to commit because you manifested this. I was like, I'm going to be intru detective. And I, yeah, I managed to get an audition. I'm like, we'll be right back after the break. Okay. Like when you had to be, you were though. Yeah, it's like just I just wanted to work so bad. And now I'm like,

28:15yeah, great. If it's mine, it's mine. And it's destiny. I think there's also a level of maturity. Right. That you're like at like 21. I was like, I can do anything. And now I'm like, I can do anything, but also what's for me is for me and what's for somebody else is for somebody else. Then you felt like you had to show them. And now I'm like, okay, I showed. And now maybe it can come your way. Yeah. There was also so much to I like need it to work. You know, I was like working so many jobs. I was like, I need to I need to do something. Yeah. Out of this. So did you ever from New York move to LA to kind of do it there or only when you had to go for a job? Well, I lied. I lied and told true detective that I was from LA that I it was a local hire because if not, they would have hired me. So I would have been too expensive. Yeah. And yeah. So I was like, okay, it's cheaper for me to move my things than just go back and forth and hold my apartment. Like I couldn't pay my apartment in a hotel. Right.

29:17Like that was just not feasible for me. So yeah, I packed my stuff and I moved to a hotel, tiny little hotel in downtown LA. When you said I lied about being a local hire, I remember I saw you being asked if you ever lied to get a job. And you said something that I thought was so funny. You said that you lied about your height. I always left because you said that you heard that actors are short someone told me that in acting school. They're like, do you know that all the leading men are really short? You're like too tall. And I was like, okay, so then come five, five. And then I'll be like, oh wait, I'm more sensory. So I have a lot to think like sci-fi and and horror. But I also like don't want to get bored. That's why I keep doing different things. They're like, oh, you're showing facets. I'm like, not what I'm doing. I wish I was that smart. That's strategic. But I'm like I just if I just came from doing a comedy. I'm like, I'm not going to jump back into a comedy. I was thinking about that for you too. Yeah. There's a lot of screaming in this movie. How is your is better now? It's better. Yeah. I went through it though. 40:54I mean, it was so cold. When I say it was freezing, I mean, we were for equipment was being it was freezing. You were in a tank. I know. And a little pyjama. I was wearing nothing. I mean, I had little thermals and stuff. And then on top of that, they were at a bunch of blood. Which by the way, I found out five days ago that it was K. Y. Jelly. No one told me it was literally blood in K. Y. Jelly. And Adam tells me this five days ago. I was like, K. Y. Jelly mixed with like the blood, the red or the dye or whatever, because the consistent he wanted that like, terrentino blood, which is a very specific red. And then when you splash it, if it's too liquid, it drops in the camera can kind of can't catch it. So he wanted it to have a thicker consistency. So when there's like a big splash of blood, the camera really can capture it. And it just makes things look a little bit cooler on camera. That scene, I don't want to give it away,

41:54but like there is a, hmm, was it all the chain saw fucking bad. I think that was crazy. And I remember because I watch it with captions. Oh, watch it with cat. Do you ever watch with caption? And don't. That's so helpful. It's so helpful. Yeah. On a plane I do. If I don't have a good surround system, yeah, yeah, definitely a top title. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I was watching my subtitles and then the chain saw scene, the subtitles said literally like, oh my god, I wish I screamed at it. Like body parts, gushing. No. And like slushing around. Aside from it being really cold, we try to give me a degree in the negatives. Yeah. Yeah. Why? Just filming times times the budget where we were filming where was it? It was in Abokirkie in the middle of the desert. We build a trailer park called Windio Aces, not on purpose. But we, I guess no one realized that there was actually nothing surrounding it.

44:00So it was so much wind. Oh, wind is the worst. It was just like wind tunnels. Aside from that, it was so much fun. I did so much training. I learned so much, so much tactical training. What kind of training did you do? Tactical. What does that mean? Like clearing, like clearing a room, everything with like, oh, like, and I don't like guns. I'm very scared of them. But through the training, I was like, oh my god, well, I live in a country that really likes guns. So if I can see one and disarm one, that that makes me feel a little bit safer. I would say, yeah. Like having knowledge of something that you're scared of made me feel a little bit. Okay. If it's ever I can grab a robber and disarm it. You know, it's like maybe if you're better. So when you're training, it was real guns, but on the set. No, never real guns. Oh, okay. No, no, no. I know. I didn't want that. Also, Adam is really scared of guns. Oh, okay. He is. And I was kind of like embarrassed by I don't know why I was like the first time that I'm like, yeah, do you think it's cool? Yeah. And I was like, damn, that's badass. And I can just get his badass at him. He's the best. Yeah. He's like the opposite of what you think. Like he's like so like sweet and like kind wild and crazy in the best way possible. But he's like really sweet. It's so to me, I don't know because I like have some like social anxiety sometimes. But like the fact that like you just described walking out of the meeting together and then having to wait for your cars together is just one of those situations. And like you don't want to you want to be like, bye. Yeah. And right. You know what I usually do. I usually go to the bathroom.

1:00:45Smart. Yeah. I usually like, okay, bye. And as we're walking, oh, I'll see you later. I'm just going to go to the ladies room and I don't have to go. Yeah, I just don't want that. Like we're already said by we already said by it's like when you're on the street with somebody and you keep walking the same way. And you're like, and I get really awkward really quickly. So I'm like, I just know myself and I'm going to say something weird or I'm going to like, yeah, like so how's your daughter? You know what I mean? This was godly intervention the day. Yeah, you didn't go to the bathroom because our bet banter was like really, oh, okay. So you felt good. Okay. It was like, oh, okay. I really, it just felt normal. He's very normal. Yes. Yes. I'm a director and everything serious. And I'll talk to you soon. I'll reach out to your people. You know, he's like, okay, we exchange numbers. He's like, all right, let me, I have like two songs that I want to send to you, see what you think. And I was like, okay, cool. Amazing. So we're just walking normal, talking about life or whatever. And we're waiting for the car. So it didn't feel weird. Adam expected me to have like, I don't know, a big fancy car. Yeah. You know what I mean? And then it was just unexpected.

1:01:50You like that. Yeah. Like the idea that he had of me, that kind of broke when he saw the car. I'm like, I just like trucks. I'm not like, I don't hear trying to be anything. I like trucks. Yeah. Really do. I really know. Do you know how to drive six shifts? No. I'm working on it. That feels like you. Well, I mean, my tractor is stick shift and that one I can drive. Okay. Yeah. We were trying to learn the whole thing. I'm trying. I should have started. Yeah. I know it is cool. It's like if you're already in that world, this cooler cars do that. Do that. Yes. Cooler cars do that. Your partner Jason was also at the premiere. I saw him being a total insta, boyfriend on the ground taking photos of you and the cast. Yeah. He's very sweet. How fun is it to have like that support from someone who like knows the best, nowhere. It's the best. It's the best. And I feel like he's he's kind of, he already has gone through what I'm going through right now. So it's cool to have

1:02:50somebody to lean on and, you know, get advice from. I'm like, what should I do or what is this or hey, what do I do with that? It's just, it's really nice to have somebody that you'd love and trust and that they love you to just lean on because you can get opinions. You know, you get opinions. And I love my team. But you know, somebody that you that really, really, really knows you to be like, am I going to be happy doing that? Yeah. It feels, I feel really, really lucky. Are you a decisive person? Like you know, like yes, no right away or you need that kind of advice and talking to her. No, I'm not very decisive. Yeah. I'm like tunneled visioned. Like once I do something, I'm like, I go for it. Like if I were a role or whatever it might be, I'm like, really focused. But when it comes to making a decision, no. Yeah. Should I should I know? Oh my God, I would do it. And it just every single scenario goes through my head. So yeah, I need, I need people. You need people. I tell you a lot of people. I call Tony Gilroy all the time.

1:03:53I'm like, Tony, should I do this movie? And he's like, you're just calling me so I can say no for you. And I was like, mm-hmm. Because if you know, you know, maybe kind of thing. Yes. If I know, I know. But if I'm like doubting it, and it's, oh, I'm also really instinctual. And when it comes to making a decision about making, doing a movie or not, it like shut off. It like betrays me. Yeah, yeah. I like and feel it a little bit if it is really vague. You're like, do the thing. I'm like, do the thing that you protect me. Come on. Yeah. And yeah, and it just kind of goes away. It's really weird. You made good calls so far. Oh, thank you. Do you have any regrets? Is something you said no to that you're not doing? I think, mm-hmm. No, I have regrets of things I've done. That's why I'm undecided. Yeah. But is it a regret or is it like I learned from that? No, there's definitely one that's a regret. Will you tell me? 1:04:56Well, now I have to check it out. Please don't. Okay. It's a Marvel movie. And I just, I wanted to be either like in Marvel or DC. Now you're just now you're just kissing up to DC. No, I'm not. I swear to god. Girl, watch it. Watch it. Okay, fine. Go watch it. Go, please stay for yourself. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not kissing, but it's not a good movie. Okay, so one regret isn't bad in the industry. Yeah. You have to have that. Oh, talking about DC, I didn't want to ask you because I read that you had to audition for the man of tomorrow part. Yeah, you did. Yeah, full full test. Does that? How does that feel when you like have a such a relationship with with the director James Gunn? You feel like you you wanted to do that as well? No, I wanted to do that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he put me through it for sure. Like there's the people that also tested, which is public, they're all incredibly talented. So it's not like I was like, I'm going in and I'm going to go get the job. No, we we're all trying to get the job.

1:06:00Yeah. And they're so talented. So yeah, he challenged me for sure. And you know, there was a lot of fucking A. I was about to put No, there's just parts of the auditioning process that is not just acting. You know, you have to you have to demonstrate like when I tested for Star Wars, you know, they test you on on different things. Yeah. And yeah, it was it was pretty scary. It was a really long day. And yeah, like a couple days later, they told me I got I got the role. Which did you freak out? I freaked out. Yeah, of course I did. I mean, just being able to work with your friends and to join a new family feels really special. And it feels really full circle. I did buckle experiment with James. So it felt like, okay, this is I'm on the right path. Yeah. Is that what I felt like? Are you able? Because I know in this business, it's hard sometimes to like enjoy the successes, right? Like you're like to the next or like, you know, are you able to do that to like be happy about

1:07:05I try achievements and things that you're doing in the moment and not already be kind of in the next thing. I don't know. I try. You try. You do that. I try, but I'm human. And honestly, sometimes I don't, yeah, you know, and sometimes you're like, either tired or you're busy and you've like, you kind of skipped that moment. And you're like, what did I like sometimes I look back at pictures or I'll have a memory of him like, I don't know. Just enjoy that. I was just, you know, I was just so busy that you kind of missed little moments. I'm trying to get better at like being present. Yeah, because I think what like upsets me with that is like, I know that I would fucking kill someone if I didn't get the thing. And then if you get the thing, you're like, okay, but so I want that reaction to be like the equal to the like killing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I know that if I didn't get what I wanted, then I'm like, if I did, then it's like, oh, great. Yeah. It's like, no, be the same. Be the same. To the other part because you're like, oh, I want to get to work. You're so excited.

1:08:07I mean, like, oh, my God, I got to start preparing right now because it's so big and it's amazing. Yeah. I'm so excited. So every time I get a job, I always get so excited that I want to start the job. Yes. It's more kind of the anticipatory, like you're waiting to do out. Yeah. Well, let's talk about upcoming things because you have so much exciting stuff coming up. We're going to see a lot of you. And that makes me really happy. Like, sorry. Is boxing still your number one workout? I saw you boxing like crazy. Yeah, it still is. It's so fun. You're so good at it. Oh, thank you. Yeah, I think boxing. I love it. Like running, running used to be it because then you get to like discover a city or wherever it is that you're going, you're like, gonna go for a run. But honestly, I cannot be bothered. If you're really happy, where I'm at right now, both in my personal and in career, you know, you work so hard and then you're like, oh, it's kind of happened. It's here and I want to enjoy it and I want to have fun. And no, it makes me feel, it makes me feel good. I'm so happy to hear that. Yeah. A weird thing I saw is that you said you work out to sad music. Yeah, I can work out to sad music. It sounded like that was your go to. No, no, no, no, it's not my go to. Okay. No, it's not my go to.
