Actress Wenne Alton Davis Hit-and-Run Suspect Arrested

0:00Entertainment Store is making news on March 19th. A driver has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run death of actress Wynne Alton Davis. The 60-year-old, known for her role on the marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was struck by a car in Midtown Manhattan on December 8th, 2025. She later died from severe injuries at Mount Sinai West Hospital. The suspect, identified as MD Abdul Shomu's, was taken into custody on Monday March 16th. New York police charged him with failure to yield to a pedestrian. Davis had just finished dinner with friends when the crash happened. Davis's agent, Jamie Harris, remembered her as a bright light full of kindness and a deep love for New York, acting and her family. Friends described her generous spirit and passion for life, saying she had so much more ahead in her career.
