El: Τα φώτα στο δωμάτιο της Ελένης έλαμπαν σαν μικρά αστέρια, καθώς το χιόνι έξω συνέχιζε να πέφτει απαλό και αθόρυβο.
En: The lights in Eleni's room shone like little stars, as the snow outside continued to fall softly and silently.

El: Το λάπτοπ της ήταν ανοιχτό μπροστά της, δείχνοντας τη φιγούρα του Νίκου στην άλλη πλευρά της οθόνης.
En: Her laptop was open in front of her, showing Nikos's figure on the other side of the screen.

El: Πέρα από την εικόνα του, έλαμπε ο ελληνικός ήλιος, χαρίζοντας ζεστασιά στην καρδιά της, έστω και μέσα από την οθόνη.
En: Beyond his image, the Greek sun shone brightly, bringing warmth to her heart, even if only through the screen.

El: Η Ελένη σπούδαζε στο εξωτερικό.
En: Eleni was studying abroad.

El: Καθώς το ρολόι πλησίαζε στα μεσάνυχτα, η Ελένη ήξερε πως έπρεπε να μιλήσει στον Νίκο.
En: As the clock approached midnight, Eleni knew she had to talk to Nikos.

El: Για τους φόβους της, τις ανησυχίες της, το μέλλον τους που την τρόμαζε.

El: "Νίκο, θέλω να σου πω κάτι," είπε διστακτικά, τα μάτια της να κοιτούν ευθέως στην οθόνη.

El: Ο Νίκος, με την ίδια ανησυχία ζωγραφισμένη στο βλέμμα του, απάντησε, "Σε ακούω, Ελένη."
En: Nikos, with the same concern drawn on his face, replied, "I'm listening, Eleni."

El: Εκείνη πήρε μια βαθιά ανάσα.
En: She took a deep breath.

El: "Μου λείπεις.
En: "I miss you.

El: Φοβάμαι πως η απόσταση θα μας αλλάξει.
En: I'm afraid the distance will change us.

El: Θέλω να συνεχίσουμε μαζί, αλλά αυτό δεν είναι εύκολο."
En: I want us to continue together, but it's not easy."

El: Οι λέξεις της χτύπησαν την καρδιά της σαν κύματα.
En: Her words hit her heart like waves.

El: Μια στιγμή σιωπής ακολούθησε.
En: A moment of silence followed.

El: "Κι εγώ," είπε τελικά ο Νίκος.
En: "Me too," Nikos finally said.

El: "Σε χρειάζομαι εδώ.
En: "I need you here.

El: Αλλά η ζωή είναι αλλιώτικη τώρα."
En: But life is different now."

El: Το πρόσωπο της Ελένης έλαμψε ξαφνικά από τα πυροτεχνήματα που φωτίζουν τον ουρανό πίσω της, σηματοδοτώντας την αλλαγή του χρόνου.
En: Eleni's face suddenly lit up from the fireworks illuminating the sky behind her, marking the change of the year.

El: "Ίσως να μπορούμε να αλλάξουμε κι εμείς," είπε.
En: "Maybe we can change too," she said.

El: "Πιο συχνές κλήσεις, πιο πολλές επισκέψεις... και ίσως μπορώ να έρθω στην Ελλάδα σύντομα."
En: "More frequent calls, more visits... and maybe I can come to Ellada soon."

El: Ο Νίκος χαμογέλασε.
En: Nikos smiled.

El: "Ναι, μπορούμε να το δοκιμάσουμε.
En: "Yes, we can try that.

El: Αρκεί να είμαστε ειλικρινείς.
En: As long as we're honest.

El: Και να προσπαθήσουμε."
En: And we try."

El: Έφτασε τα μεσάνυχτα, και μαζί με το έτος, η σχέση τους απέκτησε νέα ζωή.
En: Midnight arrived, and along with the new year, their relationship gained new life.

El: Η Ελένη ένιωσε ξαφνικά πιο σίγουρη.
En: Eleni suddenly felt more confident.

El: Καθώς το ρολόι χτυπούσε, κατάλαβε πως η επικοινωνία ήταν το μυστικό για να γεφυρώσει το χάσμα.
En: As the clock chimed, she realized communication was the secret to bridging the gap.

El: "Καλή Χρονιά, Νίκο," είπε με χαμόγελο.
En: "Happy New Year, Nikos," she said with a smile.

El: "Καλή Χρονιά, Ελένη," απάντησε.
En: "Happy New Year, Eleni," he replied.

El: "Μια χρονιά γεμάτη νέες ελπίδες."
En: "A year full of new hopes."

El: Καθώς έσβησαν τα πυροτεχνήματα, η Ελένη έκλεισε το λάπτοπ της χαμογελώντας.
En: As the fireworks faded, Eleni closed her laptop smiling.
