A few weeks ago I read about a mother of three who was murdered. Her boyfriend was convicted of her death. She was 33, he was 48 and an illegal from Nicaragua. That woman had a history of abusive relationships since high school and endured 30 years of violence from five men. Two of them served jail time, one of them killed her unborn child. She had multiple restraining orders and chances to escape, but she always returned to her abusers. I couldn’t help but think of the nomination of Zoran Mamdini, and the trend of democrat select leaders who are going to abuse their voters. It seems so much like sexual attraction for whoever’s going to make their lives hell. I call it “Battered Democrat Syndrome.” It seems people would want to enjoy happiness and success. Democrats just want to keep punishing themselves and us.
