So now you have two, two best bits things. You'll be back while you're doing your run. Go, Abby. At this moment in time, she's not running because she's you're recording with me.

But by the time this podcast comes out, she will be actively in the run. Yeah. Abby, keep going. Thank you. I'm going. I need some water. Maybe it's a little gel package. Oh, thanks. What are your big goals personally and professionally for the rest of 2026? This is from Sherry. Oh, my. This is your answering, too, or just me. I can't, but they're for you. My goal would be, okay, I have, oh, professional to get my other song out. I want a third song. And I want to write it. So that would be professional. Personal would be to get my stomach figured out and get back on my little health journey. Like follow what I should have done to start out. I don't know if that'll help, though, because I feel like I did it six weeks and still didn't help. Of me like eating right and cutting stuff out. And we did, we did go into detail talking a lot about Abby's health and the part when.

So if you're also having like chronic illness stuff, like Abby has them, go check it out. Yeah. But I will say sometimes six weeks is not enough. Sadly, and I did learn that. Yeah, yeah, I felt great in the moment and then a few weeks after it, but then it just slowly came back and now we're back to. Before I started, so that's a huge goal to get that feel better. Yeah, that's so good. It looked at me like I was crazy when I asked that question. I did. Well, it was funny because my fiance always tells me that I need to be better, like making goals for myself. Because I kind of just like live life day-to-day and just kind of murder and he's very goal-oriented. You did not just murder yourself. You're such a mad other people. No, I made myself. But hey, I do have a couple of goals. I just got to follow through with them. You do. Where is that coming out of with your fiance? Like, where is the goal conversation happening? How did that come out? I don't know. I don't even know what it like.

What made that conversation go? I'm not sure. Are you a planner? You're super organized with work and stuff, but are you a planner? Do you like to plan things out in advance? No, absolutely not. I would rather plan it a day off. That's why, oh, let's talk about wedding planning. I'd rather just wake up that day and say, let's just go. I'm just not a big planner now. Yeah, that's going to add a little wrinkle. For you. Yes. It probably just came up with him and I just talking in day to day stuff where he's like, he always has everything in his calendar. And he's very organized. Yeah. Like, he's like, hey, I have this on Wednesday. I have this on Thursday. He's like, what do you have? I'm like, I don't really know. Okay, I just had to scare for a second. I could only see one from my computer that won microphone on. And I was like, no, can you imagine? No, we're going to. Anyways. Oh my gosh. I could see that with him in a few times that I've been around him.

He's, he definitely just like feels like he's very put together. Oh, yes. And you also feel very put together though at work. Oh my gosh, really? Well, I don't know now. Now my question is in that. It's not like balls are dropping because of right. Yeah. Well, that's the thing here. That's the 100% thing is work. Yes. Yes. I put that first. And so everything's in my calendar. Work related that needs to be turned in and happen. Because there's deadlines, right? I do a lot of prep like for artists and like interviews and stuff. So you have to have that before the interview or you are screwed. Like with my, my life, like there's no deadline. Yeah, I mean, yeah, really? But now it's like, oh, I'm getting up there. You should make some deadlines. Like wedding planning. There's no like deadline. If somebody was like, you have to decide when this by this time, I could probably do it. Okay. Wow. That was that was that was like, you just got a little retro, like introspective moment.

Let me ask you this. Little different. But I think it could be a good thing for you. Would he be interested in spearheading, wedding planning? Oh, yeah. He would probably have it done in like two days. Just because that's impossible. I promise you. I have learned there's a lot of things. There's a lot of like communication that has happened. But he could at least get you options together and he could start planning it. And you could start picking things. Yes, by way of him. No, that would probably be good. Because like, I am a little controlling. Like, I wouldn't want him to just like do it all. But I like how if he gave me options and been like, do you want to hear here or here? Like I said, or I've said in the past, yes, I could do that. I just need options. Well, then maybe that's how you can start. When you guys are in that space, because there's other stuff going on and other factors. But when you're in that space and wedding planning starts to become more front of mind, I think that could be a way that you guys go after it.

That could not feel overwhelming for you. Yeah, I like that. Options. Yeah, I mean, listen, there's always one person in a relationship who's more of a planner. And it just don't happen. Is that a tip? Yes, okay. Do you see my laptop? Well, I didn't know. Everything has a folder. Have you seen my laptop? Yes. Okay, I've been reminded of eddies. Oh my god, because don't you have all the like icons on the main home screen? Yes, yeah, yeah. I tried my folder. I tried. Yeah, I tried my folders. It's okay. They just need to be dragged over to the folder. That's okay. Like I said, there's always one at least in a relationship that really holds that stronghold. So they do. He can provide that for you. I think that would be a great plan of action for you so it's not so overwhelming. Really? You know, my fiancee and I are the same way. He's really good. Like one task. Like he can get something done one task. I can have 13 things happening in my brain at one time. We are not the same in that. And so I've learned that about him.

And so like, and he'll get it. If he gets that one task, he can get it done in 30 minutes because it's one task. And I give him another one. And like whatever. So those are our different brains. That's how they operate. And we've learned to make those both work for our relationship versus trying to make the impossible happen. If I tried to give him 10 things at once, he'd look at me like, what are you doing? You know, you're setting me up to fail. Oh, yeah. You know, and it's that you up to fail if you were trying to do a bunch of things that you don't feel comfortable doing. So you got to learn your strengths and your strengths is to be able to choose from option. Oh, yeah. I'm even great for you guys. You know more than three. Yes. My big goals. Personally, I want to get married. I'd love to see that through this whole year. I'm gonna find a lot of work in for that. That for sure. Personally, I would be getting married and having our party and everything. And then professionally, I'm doing some talks back home, which I'm really excited about.

Yes, I don't even mean what? So I got hired two different talks. One is back at my college. Oh, talks. I thought you met. You have like talks of something in the works, like a job back home. And I was like, That's why you're facing that. You're saying this right now? That's why you're facing that. I was like, yeah, no, like actual, like, speaking engagements. I was like, did you just like drop breaking news? Yeah. No, wait. You're planning a wedding, but you're about to move back? What's happening? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Speaking engagements back home. Same thing, but everyone had went there. That is so funny. That is funny. Yeah. So wonderful. One of the speaking engagements is for back home in Manhattan, Kansas. Back in my call, well, back home, home state, Manhattan, Kansas, where I went to college. Some of the college hired me to go back and do a keynote speak. Oh, yeah.

Super excited about that. That's cool. And then another one is a cool foundation called Love Like Remy, which not my dog, but really crazy that that's also her name. It's a foundation created for a girl who committed suicide. And I'm also doing the speaking engagement at that, talking about my experiences and stuff growing up. So. Oh, wow. There are two really big ones that are excited about. Two. Yeah, they're both. One's in Manhattan, one's back in Wichita, so get a little bit of both. Look at you. Yes. Okay, that's cool. I'm excited. So those are, those are my goals. Get those done and, and do them well. I've never done speaking engagements. Yeah, I was going to white to that caliber. I've done different kinds, but I'm excited for both of these. I think they'll be really, I can speak to both of them very well. Just one I'm excited about. How long do they have to be? Or how long are they usually? I don't know. That's a great question. It depends. I think the one back in Wichita, yeah, might be closer to an hour. I'm also bringing one of my old teachers

who was a big part of my high school experience. I also brought her on my podcast. She really is credited with saving my life at that school when I was going through some stuff. And then she'll come out and speak to, which I'm excited about kind of doing that together with her. And then the other one out, it's more of a lunchtime thing. So maybe like 30 minutes, maybe. That was awesome. Yeah. Nice. She was a KU. That'd be so much better. Just going to. Wrong. Abby. Purple and white. Not blue and yet red yet. I wanted to call you guys all the y'all, but you've been in blue. Sorry. Craniella. Yeah, so those are fun things. Where do you girls see yourself in 10 years, Lindsey from Wisconsin? The silence. It's crickets. In 10 years, I will be 42. Wow. Dang, Lindsey, you had to date that fat.

Whoa. What? Dating me, you know? Just putting 10 years on my life. I'm like not comprehending what you're saying right now. Age to me is probably more of the correct word. I should have used there. I don't know. Weird words come out of my mouth a lot. So 10 years, that's still, that's young. 42. Yeah. Where will you be? I'll probably hopefully be married with kids. All right. My own and his kids. Stay at home, mom. I don't know. Checking out that lifestyle. Yeah, see what that's like. Okay. You know, get up, get the kids ready for school, get some coffee, go to the gym. Do you think you'd want to be a stay at home mom as a thing that you envision? I would have to have like a part-time job. I would need to be doing something else. Like, what am I going to do all day? I don't know. Well, they're at school. Like, I want to do something also that's fulfilling outside of my house. And that comes eventually. I definitely think when they're young, young kids,

you have plenty of things to do with them. I mean, when they're, yeah, when they're old and they go to school, to be in school. Yeah. Okay. I mean, that's coming. Which is weird, does he say? Which I never thought. But my mom, like, that was one thing she regretted was, like, going back to school. I mean, going back to work. You know, she always wishes she had the ability to stay at home with the kids that she went back right after and just kind of worked. Always had a babysitter or somebody. So she always says that's something she regretted. So I want to make sure that I don't have that regret. Yeah. I need you to. I definitely think once it happens, you start to decide what feels best for you, for sure. It's hard to make that decision until it happens, until it arrives, and you have all the experiences of being a new mom, especially like the first time. Um, obviously, wildly different to also being a stepmom different experiences. So hard to know how you're going to feel when that time comes. I know, exactly. A lot of predicting. Right. For sure. Uh, I, I don't know, Lindsay.

I mean, potentially still doing this. Maybe traveling the world. Maybe living in a mountain town. Maybe rescuing a bunch of animals. Maybe running a nonprofit for animals. I don't know. I could see my life going a lot of different directions. But it's funny because I don't, I don't picture that. Like a lot of people would assume that I'd be like, yeah, I'm going to have kids. Here we go. But I don't know that that's my, in our path. Really? We've had those conversations, for sure. And we've talked about on our, the episodes we've done together. So it's not really a secret. But both of us are just like, if it's not 100% yes, it's a no. And that's just where we are with it. So that's a very mature decision, you know? Because some people are just like, we'll see if it's meant to be. It's meant to be or whatever. But you're. Yes, thought about it. Talked about it. Yes, I could see as becoming parents in all kinds of ways that are very non-traditional. So who knows what the future holds.

But our own in that path, that specific path is just probably not for us at the end of the day. So we both feel really good about that. And where we are. So probably traveling, probably doing something crazy. You never know with me. I kind of let the world decide what's going to happen in my life. And it's worked out so well for me. Right. Says the planner. Says the planner. Yeah. Sounds like me. I used to have, you know, I did. But also, Planner Morgan, had like a whole mash life figured out for herself when she was a kid. Oh, I bet she did. Oh, yeah. Why pick up fans? I had four kids, a dog, a cat. I lived on a farm. I was at home mom. And then life happened to me. And I was like, not any of that. Besides the dog in the cat, for sure. I have a white, want a white pick of fans. So like, don't know what happened to me. That's funny. Yeah. All right, we're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right, Abby. Have you ever done solo traveling? Pros versus cons. JT and New Hampshire.

Oh, yeah. I've done it a lot. I actually kind of love it. Because you can do anything you want. It's up to you, you know? Like, if you see somebody, you're just sitting there and thereby themselves, you can meet a new friend. I went, where did I go? I mean, I've been everywhere by myself. That's what I was single. You did a lot of solo traveling. I went to Key West. And that was prompted by Eddie. And that was, I wouldn't recommend Key West to go by yourself. I don't know. I'm not. It's wild down there. Wasn't it for you? We did not have the wild experience. But we also weren't there at night ever. That's true. So maybe that has something to do with it. Yeah. But it was still fun to like explore pros cons. I would say like what the pros, you can meet people, do whatever you want on your time. It's very peaceful and relaxing. You have no one else. It's going to tell you where you need to be. You can get up when you want, do whatever you want. The cons, I mean, I guess it just gets kind of lonely. Because you're like, oh, I wish someone here was here to like see it with me.

Especially more like beaches. More beach trips or kind of like that. Because you always see like couples walking or families and you're like, oh, that'd be nice. More relaxing too. I feel like if you love a beach trip, you're probably a relaxer on the beach. Which means you have more downtime. Right. Like I went to Chicago by myself. So fun. I went to Boston, Key West, California. So fun. Oh my gosh. I'm going to do a solo traveler. Yeah. That's crazy. I've never gone on a solo trip. Really? Oh, I thought you had. No. I mean, I've gone on on work trips where I do a lot of stuff by myself. But never like an actual vacation that I took by myself. I always want friends or family would come with me or partner at the time. I'm really good at roping people into trips. Yeah. Like I'm such a planner. We talk about being a planner. I'll schedule everything out and like I'll have a plan. I'm like, yeah, I just need you to come.

Just pay for yourself and come. Right. So that also makes it a lot easier. Where I'm like, I have a whole plan. All you have to do is show up. I know. See that doesn't make it. Yeah, that makes it a lot easier and fun. When you're like, oh, okay, I'll come. Don't have to worry about it. I'll just buy a ticket. Yes, let's do it. So yeah, no, I've done work solo travel, but not not any vacation. I feel like at some point I need to, but now that I have somebody to share with. I don't know how to opt to choose to do it. That way. It's good for a weekend. I would say a long trip, probably not as much. Like you wouldn't want to do a whole week. You'd be like, okay, I'm good here. You can only meet so many new people, you know. That's true. Yeah, where you're just like, okay, I want to just relax a weekend. Yeah. So if you need solo traveling tips, definitely go to Abby. Yeah. Pro-so traveler. So what? Pro-so. Pro-so. Pro-so. Oh, I like it. I've made that up and I didn't even mean to. Just give out of my mouth that way. How are you adapting to life now

that you will officially be a step mom? That's for me. I don't know how I'm adapting. I mean, yeah, it's kind of different. Obviously, me like not sleeping in. Because that's what I always used to. Just being able to on the weekends. But it's like, they're up at seven. But it's super fun. It's crazy because it's like we have two lives. When he has them on the weekends, it's like we're doing an adventure science center and you know, going to see a movie or being outside, going to ride bikes at a park, going to a park, and then when it's not, it's like we go to Broadway. So it's like kind of... You are living two lives right now. It's weird. And that's the consistency is there is none, I guess. But I grew up in a divorced household too. Like my parents, nothing was ever just like a strict or solid routine and like consistent. And so I guess I'm just used to that. But yeah, it's very weird. But they're like the cutest and they're so sweet.

Well, that probably gives you some perspective too, having had that experience also as a kid. Yes. To see emotionally probably what they're experiencing and what they might be going through or what their thoughts are on things. It might just give you a unique perspective because that's not always the case. Right. And like I had the best childhood ever. And you know, and I want them to know that just because their parents aren't together, they can still, you know, when they're with their dad, they'll, they live life this way. When they're with their mom, it's, you know, it shouldn't, it shouldn't be bad. Yeah. Oh, you're such a good, you're a good mom. Crazy. I know. What restaurant in Wichita do you miss the most? Skip and Kansas. Go Cats. Oh, excuse me. That's what you wrote. You wrote it. Rock, chalk, what? Oh my gosh, I love Belaluna. So my, I love Beluna. I worked there. Did you? Yeah, I was a server and I brought home the hummus every time we got a half off discount. And so I brought just like a huge tub of it every shift.

That's so good. How long did you work there for? I think it was just a summer, like in college, when I was back. And I'm assuming the east side, since we live on the east side. Dang, if you worked at the one on the west side, we'd definitely want to see each other. Buffalo and Belaluna on the west side are in the same market square. Wait, I never went to, I've never been to the one on the west side. I've only been to the one in what's it called? The east side square? Oh, Bradley Fair. Yeah, the east side square. That's the literally one I'm speculating about when I remember what it was called. That's funny. Because then you have new market square on the west side. Oh my gosh, I've never been. That is funny. It's really funny. They were close. Yeah, oh yeah, they're like right, right by each other. So we couldn't have met that way. Is that the restaurant you miss in Kansas? Buffalo, no. I miss working at Buffalo. It was a fun experience. But Buffalo is a good one. I love their hummus too. I want it right now. I want it. I miss good sense. Oh, that's a good one.

I love good sense. But I never really had it. Really? Yeah. It is the best local sandwich. And I don't even know if it's super local. Maybe it's like all over like the Midwest. I don't know. But it was such fresh sandwiches. That in cinnamon's deli. Cinnamon's deli. Oh, the bread bowl. Yes. Oh, did I ever have the bread bowl? Ma'am, I would have the bread bowl with, with mac and cheese. You have the mac and cheese in the bread bowl? With the grilled cheese. Oh my gosh. Wow. That is. Yeah, I have problems. I didn't really have that in my head. So we got that as I got it all through. Yeah. Well, and then as I got all the red, put the potato soup in it. Just add more cheese. I don't know that. That's much better. Some more cheese. Yeah. It's numb. Either way, I was eating carbs and bread. So I did the... Ma'am is the broccoli cheddar soup. Well, at least you were getting broccoli. I had definitely never just broccoli cheddar.

And then I got what sandwich was. It was like turkey. And it had um... You're asking the person who always ate grilled cheese. Oh yeah. Look at that. That's serious. I have no idea what else they had on the menu. Oh my gosh. It had like turkey avocado cream cheese and like alfalfa sprouts. Oh yeah. Really weird. Like something so unique. That's why I loved it. It was so different there. Yes. See, adult Morgan would love that without the meat. Young Morgan absolutely not. I got the freaking grilled cheese. It was always a grilled cheese special. And it was the size of my face. No, I did get the grilled cheese too when I was younger. Yeah, yeah. And I was like, okay, stop the knife. And choices it. Understood. It was a grilled cheese special. I know. It was so good. It was so good. So that cinnamon jelly goods since in Brahms. Brahms. Oh, that cherry pican. That was my favorite. Cherry pican. She just hit the mic because we have nuts in here for some reason. They're all over the building. I always got the frozen yogurt swirl chocolate and vanilla. Oh, my jam.

Your jam? Yeah, those are mine. I'm trying to think what else. Any other good options though? Those are good. Okay. Who is further along with the wedding planning? Me or Abby? Dawn and Illinois. Dawn, we talked about this pretty extensively in part one. Yeah, let's take a guess. And one, two, three. Me. Yeah, but that's okay. That is totally fine. It's not a race. And Abby should do it as soon as she wants to or as late as she wants to or whenever she wants to because it is her wedding. There's no rush. It might not be till like 2030. Who knows? 2030. And you could have so many options by 2030. You never know. It might be worth the wait. Maybe things will get cheaper by then. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So what we do talk about in part one if you want to check that out. Okay. We're getting out of here. Abby, thanks for being here. We're running away from the nads because they're everywhere. I know. Happening. I don't know what this problem is. Also, I would never normally bring it up.

Something that you guys can't see. But they're overwhelmingly all over this. Like not just this studio that we're sending in but in our show studio in the classroom. They're like all over our building. And well, that's why I'm wondering how it got in here. I'm sure it was hitching a ride on us. And you know, some way there's so small you can't see them until they start fluttering right around in your eyes. I know. Like they like to make you mad. It's landed on my mic. Yeah, and you hit the mic a few times. So also if it was loud, very sorry. Sorry, but I'm not sorry for this bug. Sorry, not sorry. Sorry. Abby, thanks for joining. Thank you. Again, Abby. Good job. You're doing so great. Keep running. Run for us. Run. I the best part about all of this. I know you're not listening to these because you're like me. I don't like listening to myself. Well, absolutely not. That would like defeat me. I would like go cry. I'm a corner. Do yourself. You're like, I'm out. I don't want to run anymore. But just in case it happens to pop up. Good job, Abby.

You're doing great. My worst fear. They're playing it on the speakers as I'm running by. Oh my gosh. You're like, that's me. I don't like that. Stop it. But you're going to do awesome. It's going to be great. Everybody wish Abby some good luck. She goes into the rock and roll marathon this weekend. And you go check out part one. We talk a lot about life and catching up over there. Otherwise, thanks for being here. Go find her. Abby Lee Anderson on Instagram. You can follow the show at Bobby Buncho. I'm at Webgirl Morgan. Bye everybody. Bye.
