Aaron Hall Defaulted in Sexual Assault Lawsuit

0:00On April 2nd, R&B singer Aaron Hall just got hit with a default judgment in a sexual assault lawsuit. Liza Gardner claims he and Sean Diddy-Kombs assaulted her back in 1990 when she was only 16 after an MCA records event. Hall ignored the whole thing, so a federal court ruled against him on April 1st, 2026. His team spent over a year trying to serve him papers, using ads and newspapers, private investigators, and checking tons of addresses. Hall stayed off the radar until February 2nd, 2026, when a process server found him at a motel in Alfredo, Georgia. The server tried to hand over the documents, but Hall shut the door and refused. Still, the papers got left at his feet, counting as proper service under the rules. More than 21 days when by, with zero response from Hall, no answer, no appearance. Gardner's lawyers had to push for the default, and the court sided with her, basically accepting the claims since he ghosted the process.

1:01Now the case moves straight to figuring out damages, all without Hall getting a say. This one's a harsh lesson in showing up to court.
