AAPI Solidarity Fundraiser with Linda Kuo

About this episode

There's a time for talk and there's a time for action, AAPI Solidarity Fundraiser is doing both. This Sunday at the Peridance Center from 10:30am -4:30 you can sign up and take classes at $10 per class. There are amazing teachers:

Yuka Kameda teaching Tap

Kevin Suzuki teaching Japanese Folklore

Sun Kim teaching Popping

Pauline Casino teaching Choreography

Afterwards there is a community discussion to bring an action plan together from 4:30-5:30 and that portion is free to the community and those who participated in the dance classes

This is a pre-registration event meaning no walk ins. You must also wear your mask.

The event is a fundraiser for APEX for Youth, underserved Asian and Immigrant youth from low income families.

Tickets can be found here: https://dancers-unlimited.square.site/product/aapi2021/77?category_id=18&cp=true&q=false&sa=false&sbp=false

Special thanks to Linda for taking tine to talk to me as well as Peridance Center for the use of space, etc.
