Dear Jack,

I'm a 30-year-old woman who has always been very close to my best friend, Sarah. We've shared countless joys and sorrows throughout the years. However, there's one issue that's causing a strain in our friendship.

Sarah recently started dating a guy who seems controlling and possessive. She has gradually distanced herself from her friends, including me, and it's clear that her boyfriend is the reason. He's made comments about not liking her spending time with 'other people' and has even questioned her about our past friendship.

I'm deeply concerned about Sarah's well-being and the way her boyfriend is isolating her. I've tried talking to her about it, but she brushes it off, saying he's just 'protective' and that I don't understand their relationship. I'm worried that our friendship will deteriorate further, or that she may be in an unhealthy relationship.

How can I help my friend while respecting her choices, and how do I address this issue without pushing her away or damaging our friendship?
