Maybe one of the most unique voices in all of music and he's also a personal friend of ours. And we think the world of them. If you go back to October of 2009, he released a song called Tuesday, which was a musical

1:05plea to never forget the lessons of 9-11-01. And in a minute I'll play that song for you. And you know, it's Monday coming back. That's what Mondays do. They turn and turn around afraid to see it through Welcome to Monday. And you know, he was one of the performers that you might recall, Paul McCartney, Sir Paul McCartney had a concert for New York City. And he was part of that concert. He called it one of the greatest honors of his life, spending that day and sharing the stage with all these heroic first responders and firemen and much of the audience at Madison Square Garden, consisted of firefighters, police, rescue workers, others that had spent months, you know, sifting through the rubble and the carnage of ground zero, not knowing they were exposing themselves to a lot of toxins. Many of them died as a result. 9-11-related illnesses are very, very real.

2:08You know, it just is what it is. It's so sad for the families, which is why we have, you know, our friend Frank Siller, who was so good in remembering all of those that have been impacted by this. But this is what he's saying at Madison Square Garden that night. Let me play a little bit of Superman.

3:16So that is one of his hit songs. He has so many of them. I couldn't even list them if I wanted to. So he writes this op-ed and in the op-ed, he talked about the song that he released called Tuesday and he released this in October of 2009. And it really is an anthem, a musical plea to never forget the lessons of 9-11-01. My greatest fear is we've forgotten. You know, I watched the rise of virulent anti-Semitism in this country and around the world. We see it on college campuses in the halls of Congress. We hear it on the airwaves. We see it all around the world. And all Israel was doing after October 7th.

4:19They lost 1,200 of their citizens that day. It's a very small country. It's about the size of New Jersey and extrapolate out their population versus ours and you're looking at the equivalent of 40,000 dead Americans in a day. And so he released this song as, you know, please never forget the lessons of that day. And here's that song it's called Tuesday.

7:38Good, I forget Tuesday came in with like a helicopter overhead. Will she come again? Uninterrastic and well, it was another hit song of his. He joins us now. He actually writes in his editorial 25 years after 9-11 America finds itself in another battle. This one for the soul of our nation. More broadly, the future of Western civilization. The threats are not identical to those we faced in 01, but they are real. Global Islamists remain a global threat anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, extremism, you

8:40know, increasingly finding expression across the ideological spectrum. Ideas once confined to society's fringes now travel instantly and with little consequence through universities, political movements and social media. The enemy is in the building and time is not on our side. That's why never forget. Canopia slogan printed on a bumper sticker and repeated once every September. It's an obligation. It's our obligation. And we have a duty to teach our children what happened on September 11th, 01, about the evil fanatics that attacked us, why they attacked us and the carnage of what unchecked extremism can produce. Never forget means something more. It means remembering the best of us. It means telling our children about the firefighters that climbed stairwells while everyone else was running down. And the police officers and the paramedics and ordinary citizens who ran towards collapsing

9:43in furnos to save people they had never met. And the passengers of flight 93 who understood what was happening and knowing the probable cost and fought back. They represent the best of humanity. Fifty-five years later, their courage should still challenge and inspire us. Their sacrifice should remind us that America is not sustained merely by institutions, elections or slogans. It survives because generation after generation chooses to defend the principles that made the country worth defending. Memories fade, history becomes distanced and Tuesdays come and go. But some Tuesdays must never be forgotten. May the memory of those we lost and the example of the heroes of September 11th, 01, give a strength and courage and fortitude to fight for every American every single day, especially Tuesdays for the next 250 years.

10:46Let's roll. John Androwski joins us now, sir. Well, you know, we've been friends a long time. And one of the reasons we really are friends is I admire your heart, your patriotism, your passion and your ability to communicate through music, which I believe is far more powerful than any spoken word. Well, thank you, Sean. I always apply to join you. I can't believe it's been 25 years and kind of to what you were just talking about. And Wednesday, I performed Superman at the New York firefighters memorial in Staten Island. And I flashed right back to the concert for New York, the stories, the heroes meeting with the families, but there was one difference. There was about four or five 25 30 year olds men and women that I met. And like so many folks there, their father, firefighter had been killed in 9-11. But Sean, those people were firefighters. They had joined the fire department.

11:48So talking about generations continuing the best of us, that gave me inspiration, that gave me hope and frankly brought up here to my eye. You know, go back to the night of the concert that was put on. And I think that moment did transcend politics because there were a lot of people that are very outspoken politically on the left, but they did attend and they did share in the experience. And they did honor our first responders and our police and our firefighters and paramedics. That had to be a special night, just in that regard because here we are 25 years later, and you're right. I mean, what's on the ballot in 53 days as far as I'm concerned is a battle for the future of this country and with America so goes the rest of the world, and that means Western civilization. Well, it was an incredible night.

12:48Any other day in my life would have been just the happiest day of my life to play with every living icon on that stage with Paul McCartney and Elton John and Billy Joel. And of course that night had nothing to do with that. It was about the firefighters and about the families who lost loved ones. And Sean, you mentioned how music can transcend like nothing else. It wasn't my performance that I remember, but it was the who when they came out and they blew the roof off Madison Square Garden. And as you mentioned, most of those 20,000 people had been down a great ground zero waiting through the rubble. They haven't had a chance to release, to express themselves. And I looked out and there's people hugging and screaming and crying and singing at the top of their lungs. When I think Superman, I looked out and there was this big, burly union worker with two bears in each hand, crying in Superman with me through the whole song. And I'm like, all right, this is why matters, music matters. And this is this transcends. And yeah, and you know, to your point, you know, all of those icons they stood for America

13:50after bin Laden attacked us. But unfortunately, after October 7th, where are they? Crickets, you know, they're not college students who've been indoctrinated. They know better. It's another example how things have changed and how we have to reverse this course of timidity and cowardice and stand up for what's right. Those folks know spring, steam knows, bono knows, I will name names and they have been quiet and they need to speak up or shut up. And because they've been telling us for years that they're kind of the moral leaders of our world. But where have they gone, Sean? That's what I wonder. Where did they go? Tuesday's coming. It seems like they have to. I really can't say it any better. John, we love you. You are a national treasure. We really appreciate you. We're going to put up both songs on Hannity.com. I remember children and our neighborhood lost their parents I remember your reports with Alan Combs at ground zero and I remember the freedom concerts that came afterwards to raise awareness of these brave soldiers that went to you know went to fight for Freedom but today shown This 25th year September 11th reminds me that Radical Islam is still a huge part of our lives We can't ignore it and we have to address it and I salute President Trump for doing everything he can because

I don't even consider this quote a war as it is described by some I consider this a massacre Yeah, did they strike here there or strike some of our allies in the region in the Gulf states? Yes, they have But at the end of the day Iran will never have a nuclear weapon It's only one reason why and that reason is Donald Trump and Donald Trump just said enough They're fervor to get that weapon of mass destruction You know we have been following it for decades and appeasement clearly did not work JCPOA and and Barack Hussein Obama

26:41A, a level where our income is too high so we don't qualify for it at all We never also got a dime from the COVID relief funds at all because we were Faced out because our income was too high So I just wanted to ask you since you have conversations with the president has he talked to you at all about Is this going to be phased out or is it going to be means tested where some people will get it some will get a reduced amount some will get none Well, it's not means tested Republicans have to win the House and Senate for this to happen Uh, and they they have to win it in 53 days Uh, this is for adult US citizens only that would exclude illegals Uh, and by the way likely US citizens living abroad Um, the other caveat which I found interesting when I looked a little deeper into it Is the dividend that we're talking about has to be spent in the US and the GOP midterm victory. That's what that's my understanding of it How do you police spending in the US then you have to prove what you spent it on or you can't bank it

27:44You can't you can't save it or pay off a loan or you so you would have to prove no I don't I don't think there's any restrictions if you want to save it as a matter of fact I'd highly suggest to some people if you don't have a lot of savings. I mean it is tragic If I didn't live this way during my life, um, I don't think I'd have as great an understanding as I do but When when you are living paycheck to paycheck, which I did for many many years in my earlier adult life It's it's hard you can't save money. You just you just barely surviving Right, so um, I think for those people it might be the a window of opportunity to put you know Maybe part of that money away for a rainy day most people You know if you look at some studies and and statistics that have come out over the years Show that a lot of Americans, you know, they they cannot survive one major setback financially in their life If their car breaks down for example Um, it's I've lived that life

28:47You know, I bought cars for as low as $200 I remember buying a car A van for 200 bucks and it was my work van for years. I remember buying a Ford Maverick You know 1971 and fixing it all myself for 350 bucks, you know So you know for people that are struggling. I hope they'll consider saving some money if they can But I'm not saying they can Um, and maybe they pay off debt maybe maybe they get get rid of high interest credit card debt.
