The meeting between a wounded, angry and resentful Joseph and his vulnerable but guilty brothers invites us to explore how healing and forgiveness might take place. The brokenness at the heart of living is the essence of being made of flesh, of being human. Compassion for the suffering each of us carries softens and prepares the soil of our lives for the seeds of reconciliation to be planted and, eventually, to bloom.
