The numbers told the story to Alex now swandles idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with kill I have Xander gone V sent good Wednesday morning to you. This is numbers game at V sent these sports betting network V sent dot com game. Plus I hard radio YouTube TV. Of course, here's XM channel one fifty eight skill Alexander and the man with the Majestic stride Kelly billet. That's right on this Wednesday as I mentioned The Wednesday before the divisional round of the NFL playoffs and the natty. Yeah. Oh, yeah, one more great weekend on the show today Ward Sharple joins talk national football league Todd Wysneff. Hope he remembers be here a little later I'll talk some any game betting with us. I talked to him yesterday. Oh, you did. Okay. I expect him to be here He was a little cut off guard by the the Megapod today, which is later Probably because I didn't tell him that it was today. Oh, well probably on me that would that would catch one off guard Raise my hand. It's probably on me. Well, he'll join us here. But materially give all his plays NFL divisional round weekend

For the national championship as well and anything else he might be betting I don't know what the kids betting these days Greg Peter sit on college. Oops That was one of those games last night where it was just like I hate myself for not playing It's a set on the show yesterday with Adam Burke I'm like this is just all your college basketball instincts tell you take Kansas. Yeah at Fall Galen As dogs Against undefeated Iowa state and of course I didn't do it because I was handicapping tennis and I just got didn't get around to it What's kind of funny is I mean how often do do we ever talk about me having that something that same kind of feeling right when it comes college basketball I'm usually too busy with NBA ramping up for golf season here And that stuck with me the whole day yesterday, too, or as I Kansas I'm also kind of obsessed with Darren Peterson though heading to heading the NBA. He's amazing. Yeah, okay I think he's gonna be incredible in the NBA, but I had that same thought all day yesterday I was like, is she bad Kansas and then I sat there and watched most of it? No, didn't do it Never do it for a second there the beginning second have it look like I would say might make a game of it But no not to be and then we'll do the the whip around a little later on

We must start with everything that happened after the show yesterday in the NFL coaching I won't even call it a carousel yet because we don't really have any high rings but Less notably Greg Roman charges offensive coordinator He gone and then Kevin Batullo much of the delight of Eagles fans including that 11-year-old that we saw in that one video Kevin Batullo relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator with Philadelphia Eagles, but the big headline of course Mike Tomlin steps down As the Pittsburgh Steelers had coach after 19 Seasons where he never had a losing season. I'm not sure any of you are aware of this stat He has never had a losing season 90 years the only coach by the way I'm joking obviously the only coach That has done it for that long from the start of his head coaching career You've had a couple others that went longer with streaks Tom Landry notably 21 seasons in a row with Seasons without having a losing season But Mike Tomlin from the beginning of his career 19 is the record and who knows by the way if that will ever be broken

Yeah, it's an incredible record It's an incredible record can I can I ask you a really basic betting question off the top when it comes to this early We've been joking about this for years now in the offseason right like the under I mean I To multiple years in a row under on the wind totals and just get beat up because Tomlin and the Steelers go over every single year Do you think people are going to immediately separate themselves from that idea now as we get into next this up coming off season to start talking about the Steelers going forward Like we always hear the Tomlin stat we always hear that attached to the Steelers Do you think people will translate and move that over to just the Steelers never having a losing season or they will all give Tom Like the full credit Tomlin will get the full credit. Okay. Also in a reason why he will get the full credit Which is not exactly correct is that besides Washington they have the oldest average age Roster wise in the entire NFL. So they I mean they've they're an old team that kind of has to revamp at some point And their old players on like Washington's are really good players. Yeah typically

That's a great point now. Yeah, I just find it interesting because I do I I think you're right I don't think we hear that brought up as much of this off-season, but it's not exactly correct Yeah, so so he may maybe not even justify it but by association it will sort of happen at the same time, I think Um, but you know in the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise And by the way, of course a long part and parcel with the 19 years straight with no losing seasons He of course had the now seven straight playoff losses the last five of which were by double digits Which is sort of what comes after the comma in the Mike Tomlin story But he but he steps down listed after 19 You know seasons who wouldn't want a team that never had a losing season? I know Pittsburgh views it differently They've had three head coaches chuck know for 23 years who won four Super Bowls famously Bill Kauer for 15 years who won a Super Bowl and then Tomlin for 19 seasons who won a Super Bowl in his second season So that's what the Steelers are trying to now back this up with their fourth ever coach That's it in the history of that franchise and so you can bet on this Cali Billy

You can bet on this who will be the Pittsburgh Steelers next coach Namely at Calci does anybody else have it up at this point or is just prediction mark? Just Calci that I'm aware of hey way to go Calci do your thing So I don't understand though What did you see what I texted you yesterday? I don't understand why it's all team by team and not like what's which John Harbaugh's next team right what you like Tomlin's next team is who's the Steelers next head coach who's the Raven's next head coach I don't mind it. I don't mind it. I saw what you yeah I understand that because we're used to seeing it both ways But at least that Calci you could bet whatever you want to bet on it as opposed to being limited ridiculous on it So the the short shot and again These numbers are based on a prediction market at a prediction market on actual bets, right? So bets that come in will move this is not some odds maker shifting around Chris Shula is your short shot A yes on Chris Shula's plus 170 Chris Shula the defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams

And perhaps more famously with that last name the grandson of the great Don Shula the winningest coach in the history of the national football league brief parenthetical aside on this just to give you an idea about you know putting Don Shula in context Don Shula won 328 regular season games think how long we've lived with John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin Shula 1328 Tomlin 1193 and Harbaugh 1180 that is incredible That is wild that is absolutely wild. That's how legendary the coach Don Shula was with the Dolphins So Chris Shula his grandson current Rams defensive coordinator is the short shot at plus 170 followed by Brian Flores Who is the yes on Brian Flores is plus 488 Followed by Marcus Freeman who desperately wants you to think that his hairline is natural at plus 614 So I know want to throw that in there Kurt Signetti. Please don't bet on Kurt Signetti. He's not going anywhere Stop that at nine to one and then you see a Salah the nineers defensive coordinator Clint Kubiak

the Seahawks offensive coordinator plus 1150 and then Former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel plus 1150 about Flores by the way because I want to say this because we bring this up all the time Flores is the second shot behind Chris Shula Flores of course After the Miami Dolphins head coaching stint and the subsequent stuff that happened after He ended up in Pittsburgh for one year Until then the Vikings why for one year then the Vikings grabbed it was if it had some coordinate He was not a coordinator in Pittsburgh. He was a linebackers coach I believe and what they called the defensive assistant So he did get they step up back to the Minnesota job So really it was the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise That was the first to say Okay, despite this lawsuit. Yes. We'll take you back into the fold So so a couple of things about it. So Chris Shula It's not just that he's Don Shula's grandson Chris Shula fits the mode the mold of what the Steelers Chuck Knull Bill Cower Mike Tomlin were all defensive guys who then lasted 15 years plus

As the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach. So Chris Shula is a defensive guy With that NFL pedigree with a legacy anyway So it would fit in the mold of those three previous coaches Brian Flores Not only was he the guy that the Steelers brought out of but we should probably because we always bring up the Brian Flores lawsuit We never really explain it. Maybe we should be thorough about it So the Brian Flores lawsuit for those who forget who forgot about this It's still ongoing the lawsuit is a three-pronged one He sued the Giants Because he said because remember there's those Bill Bellicic texts that Flores got a hold of from Bellicic himself I guess where Even though they were interviewing Flores They had already agreed the Giants had to hire Brian Dable He texted the wrong guy Yeah, right? Wasn't that Bellicic takes a congratulations Bryant way to go Billy Bellicic So yeah, so that was so he took so he's suing the Giants based on that that his interview with them was a sham In other words that they already had their head coach He is suing the Denver Broncos Because he said that their interview was a sham when John L. Way was running things over there

Where he was like they were drunk And late for my interview Whereas L. Way and crew their counter was Dude we all flew in from across the country on flights And we have all these extensive notes to tell you that it was not a sham So he's so there's the Giants the Broncos and who was the third? Oh the Dolphins themselves if you remember perhaps most famously Steven Ross their owner he's suing because he alleged Brian Flores did that Ross Would pay him a hundred thousand dollars per loss He was saying that that Ross was incentivizing him to tank as the Dolphins head coach Oh, and also he wanted he wanted Flores He wanted him to tamper with Tom Brady and tamper Yes, there's a lot So there's so all those things are in the lawsuit and where the lawsuit stands is that there was a I'll give you the latest part of it to make it quick the second court of appeals said because the dispute now in the lawsuit is Where does this get adjudicated in an open court or an NFL arbitration Flores wanted in an open court the NFL obviously wants

Commissioner Goudelle to uh to adjudicate this whole thing and that's where it is now because the court of the second Circuit court said hey This should be in the open court and the NFL appealed that and now it's in the supreme court And you know how the supreme court goes they get around to it whatever they get around to it There might be more important things for the supreme court Like it's my you know, it's my biggest thing ever Government should not be involved in solving sports disputes. It's so stupid How about the uh, I love the legalese the NFL has filed a petition for Rit or right of certiari With the United States Supreme Court. They should hire you They really should hire me Certiari. Are you what did you say? I have no idea what that word is Certiari? So anyway, do you have any uh, Shula's the short shot Brian floors is the second shot plus 170 plus 48 Yes, Ed Calci. I have no thought. I think it's a great description on the floor Stuff though because it's something for us to keep in mind. He's an excellent coach We're gonna here's name brought up alive, but like it's understandable But you you made the biggest point

Steelers were the first one to get to go against everybody and give him a shot But even before the Vikings did so he could be live there Marcus Freeman what said yesterday. He's going back to Notre Dame who knows if that's true or not But I thought my Marcus Freeman insight was the most interesting part of that whole right there But they didn't get lost coming back on a numbers game with will hillback You're here because you want an edge. We get tweets that being the book. I was appreciate the feedback from everybody. This is a real night real nice tweet from From Todd Hoyer says hi gill behind on shows betcha or but your breakdown on monday about why Dennis Allen Was blitzing late in the fourth Knowing knowing a chunk play wasn't the worst outcome was excellent. He says that kind of insight makes a ng such a great listen And better than the usual talking head Prattle. Thank you so much, Todd. Appreciate it. Whenever we're can whenever we're position above Prattle We're happy about that really was a great football breakdown. Thank you said that on air But I didn't tell you that off air. No you did thank you so much p5 legends gill when Drew densick pointed out the stats defying streak of medvedev 22 career ATP titles all at unique sites I bet plus 150 on kalshi that either drew or you would Would go binomial distribution or that phasic would text it in from the gym

Yeah, I'm surprised you didn't text it at that point. That's true Uh, let's see Let's see Let me guess got a law a lot of reaction to my uh my law expertise Did you know drake drake ome isn't the falcons job the most attractive or my crazy elite weapons solid defense Winnable division for many years to come harboss slash mcganio combo would be astonishing um in my opinion I think Atlanta is the best job that defense has great young players. I always thought it was sneaky good defense this year um with pierc and and watch sort of anchoring it as the young players Uh, the only problem is of course and and you got all those great weapons on offense the only problem is quarterback I'm not a panic sky That's the only thing but other than that I think it's by far the best Jason h-11 captain obvious checking in here remember chula had a shorter regular season in uh Fewer postseason games To amass that crazy number of wins as well That's a very good point by jason h-11 talk about don chula and uh jason a-11 new rule if kelly can't read the lawsuit

It should be immediately thrown out and sent to the commissioner agreed Basically said the same thing off air string fellow hawkna wonder latin is dead language kelly just measured it Merge is murdered it pardon me and vega's vice Sir Tory sir Sir teo rri pronounced What does he say Sir teo rri yeah sure you're oh that's right sir teo rri that's right yeah kelly bidley absolutely Latin will hill joins us now he goes he knows his Latin I you can follow him on twitter and not the will hill that's two ease on the V He's the host of the should of bet more podcasts He also writes for foxworts.com and his star of the megapod once again today with cleave ta. How you know willy Gelly Gelly i'm not a panics guy either not that there's anything wrong with that That's really did there i did i did that's for will comes with jokes every way that's for the that's for the late night audience What that joke was about well uh let's do these warm well let's start with the nati before we get to the NFL games Remind us where you stay and i believe you have Miami futures do you not

Oh yeah they told me it would be so easy just get them to the title game you can you know these 18 20 151 just a nice clean easy hedge which i mean i guess the the money line is still much shorter than that But was not expecting a minus 350 minus 3 25 all right you go to the exchange is minus 300 you get the point You know you sit here and talk about you know taking these long shots and i just get to the title game on hedge And i actually made the mistake of hedging one game out took all misposs three and a half i thought it was the right side um lost by half a point So i don't know i might just uh might just be writing it out that being said I think Miami wins the game i've been confident with them this whole run Even though i did like almost plus the points last week i thought they beat Ohio State thought they beat a&m and in the reason It is similar this time i just they're so good up front and when you're good up front You know all bets are off uh the old saying is a cliche it's a cliche for reason you can't throw from your backside And i think the pressure mendoza and to me on offense the key is just can you line up don't get cute no flea flicker There's no trick plays four five yards at a time control the ball control the clock

I think just that this number has gotten away from from the point of I know indian has been dominant and you have to tax it you have to inflate it But the look ahead line was five five and a half People talking about this team is better than ls u a couple you know 2019 Just two three games ago. There were three and a half point dog to Ohio State We saw Miami did to Ohio State won that game pretty quickly So i think Miami playing their home field for that sort of i think they are very live I like them plus the points and again I think they do win the game are you hedging it all on this It's a great question As of now probably not just because i just i can't get myself like a minus Yeah minus three twenty five minus three fifty that just i feel like i'll get a point where Miami either has a lead Or even if you get a let's just say indian it gets the ball You get a three now all of the sudden that minus three hundred minus three twenty becomes minus you know two fifty or two forty So i'll be a little bit greedy. I'll ride it out. I'm saying that now I could always change my mind, but i don't know what what would you do if you have this long ticket? You're usually a riding out guy. Yes, if it was minus one forty like they play the organ

I think the look ahead line was minus one thirty minus one forty that's easy You know what i could take a big chunk of a profit and just bank it and maybe play for the rest and figure it out that way When you're laying minus three fifty on the hedge are you better off just you know what maybe it's meant to be Maybe just you shot here. Ah, that's how i that's how i would think it through listen I'm the guy who has the indianna future and i have this perfect They were i could take the plus eight and a half and just try to hit both and even that i'm i'm not sure I'm going to do yeah right so we're like kind of completely opposite ends of how we're approaching this game and And just how we we break it down. By the way, I think Miami's great I just think indianna like if they win this and go sixteen and oh We're i'm just trying to think where do they rank all time in my like great college football I mean was that early 2001 Miami hurricane team or two thousand which one was it was the greatest I think of all time maybe that 2019 LSU team These guys are right up there behind that group aren't they if they go sixteen and oh when they look when you look at the results Absolutely, I think when you look back and this is it's hard to do in the moment But maybe three years from now five years from now do they have that kind of NFL talent probably not I don't even know if they have more NFL talent than Miami. I think they probably don't

That's why I think Miami's live in the game Miami has NFL guys and just a quick not betting point aside I don't mind it. It's just because we're in the content business anything that gets us closer to march madness I'm going with terms of football but college football ending on what January 20th, January 19th It's it's a little dragged out I wonder if it's just like the general interest the ratings is a Monday night like a week away from February That's a little long for the college football season. Is it not yeah? Well, when we when we first had this format none of us really anticipated the gap between quarter finals and semis and semis and finals right It's like a little more than a week for each so it drags a little bit I would agree and they're never the games are never on the same days either you're playing on a Thursday And you're playing on a Friday and somewhere on a Saturday the title games on a Monday I don't know. I mean the college football's got a lot to sort out when we don't we don't have time to sort out all of their issues Because they got plenty of them, but I do wonder if there's a better way to do it It's the great Tyler Shoemaker tweet parodying the the Saturday night sketch with Nate Bargazzi as George Washington Oh, surely this great Sport on Saturdays. You will have the championship Saturdays

No, we will play those the semis on a Thursday and Friday and the finals on a Monday That guy is very very clever tweet. All right. Let's do this. Let's do about 45 seconds on each of these games Let's do with chronological order. Let's start with The very first game of the weekend the bills and the Broncos were right now It's it's about to pick them here at circa though. It is mostly a Broncos tick of a favor. Where do you stand here? Yeah, by the way, Megapod will be later today much to the dismay of Todd wish never I don't want to say he's a diva, but you asked both of us say megapod tomorrow for threes You know, okay, I said it's fine wish I threw a big like Hissy fat in this guy is just too much I will go Josh Allen. Oh, I lean towards the bills. I think in a close game I know they're beat up in close game. Give me Allen over nicks I know that's overly simplistic. I haven't bet it. I think either side one and a half points a good teaser Whoever the dog is I like Allen over eight and a half rush attempts He had 11 last week against the Jags remember kneel down count the push push counts With a kind of a skeleton crew around him isn't he gonna call his number at least four or five times

You get a few cubic steaks maybe cut get a couple of kneel downs I think the over eight and a half rush attempts is is the way I'm going to play this really true about Todd If he had a like a serious amount of fame how it just insufferable he would be that's so true All right, Niners and Seahawks to close things out on Saturday Under I know the under's taken some money was on the under last week Sam fran and filling it was able to uh to sneak home If you look at Seattle the last month six weeks of their season 18 16 win against the Colts 13 three against the 49ers they beat the panthers But they only had 4.4 yards per play they did win the shoot out against the Rams I just think their their offense is not in great form I think they'll play pretty good defense no kiddle for the 49ers matters Under 44 and a half it's hard to get to seven seven and a half. I don't trust Donald that much But again, it's boring it's simple, but a teaser with Seattle and whoever's a one and a half point dog and Denver Buffalo will be a popular one and that's one I can get behind But I do lean towards the under here super interesting games Sunday morning patriots and Texans patriots of three point favorite

Under seven and a half in the first quarter Oh Stroud fumble five times and through an interception may fumble twice and through an interception all coaches hate turnovers But defensive coaches especially are all about protecting the ball conservative nature to begin with I think ball security is going to be preached all week So I think it's going to be kind of a slow conservative start. I like under seven half in the first quarter I would lean towards taking the really good defense plus the three with new England Maybe three and a half there. I haven't played it with lean towards the Texas But I do like that first quarter under hanging out with my brother Yesterday who much of I should grin apparently now is a Rams fan because he lived in LA all these years But he's like last year. We were in he does the we think we're in the snow and filly this year It's going to be cold in Chicago. It's all crap or use the different word Rams three and a half point favorites at the bears. So I get bothered by the we saw when they're a long time fan You're saying he's a new fan It's ridiculous. Where do you don't blow a 15-point lead in Seattle? I think this has worked out pretty well for Chicago. You get an L.A. team a dome team in You know in soldier field

Single-digit temperatures a quarterback with a sprained finger. I think the bears magic is be the only way I look I like the bears getting the points here. Well talk to you later for the Megapod divisional round We look forward to it man. Thank you All right. See you guys. Thanks for having me and thanks for not being a diva by the way like the other guy Appreciate that. Uh, we'll come back. Anthony Davis. What what's this? He's heard again Not as bad as you thought though I might be moving along you could bet on that that and more next on a numbers game at visa these sports betting network A numbers game on fee said these sports betting network If you want a bit smarter star with smarter insights at vsin.com Greg Peterson's college basketball best bets Greg will be joining us here a little later on correct oops Zach Cohen's Buffalo Denver in San Francisco Seattle previews west Reynolds is Sony Open preview I believe Kelly Bittley's got one later on the show as well Yeah, and later day you could check out Zach Cohen's NBA best bets Jonathan Davis's NHL picks and props and Dave Tully gives his takes on the divisional round. We like to call Tully takes

Tully's takes that is right now use promo code a and g a NG as in a Numbers game to save $60 off of vsin pro annual subscription at vsin.com slash subscribe We get to eight speedy the book. I was appreciated. This is a T shell doll Which is not that the Steelers win total was always as low as eight eight and a half wins But a 19 year roll over parlay would have been pretty sweet. Oh well, maybe next time Yeah, you imagine they offer the uh see the old roll over see you can offer it But you could just do yeah you would do it yourself literally bet every game Money line. I guess yeah or every season John Massie the Steelers have more Super Bowl wins than head coaches. Whoa is they in that amazing More Super Bowl wins than head coaches Six to three about to be six to four. That is pretty good. I don't think anything skid I'm never gonna be more impressed than The Larry Fitzgerald one more tackles than drops More tackles than drops is pretty incredible Twiled that is wild

But for a franchise no other franchise compares to that more Super Bowl titles than head coaches Brian Schaeffer was listening to Pat McAfee yesterday 15 minutes before the Tomlin news That he stepped down Pat got a text and hinted breaking news going to happen Peter Schrager was on hinting Tomlin I went on Cal she and it was still even money hope guild got my tweet to take advantage of it I did not Brian. I did not get it in time Wish I had been on Twitter and seen it but good on you Sam Ginsberg or buddy from Pittsburgh P.A says you You and Will should do a deal with each other to look in locking some gains on the Indiana Miami tickets would save juice The point Chris Heath I've hedged by 66 to one Miami ticket twice and now it's only three to one and now it's no longer hedged can't do anymore This is the thing about I am so who tweeted that in Chris heath. I'm so glad you bring it For tweeting it because it's just like it needs to be I don't want to say a warning, but that is this is we get we get so many of these questions so many these tweets

I got I've gotten probably five texts in the past 24 hours about I've got this massive future this massive future How do what do I do with it? It's it's also it's a cottage industry I like to say it's a cottage industry on Twitter because it makes people feel smart about like Oh, this is how you should do this this how you should do that And again my point is always you made the bet in the first place for a reason Does the amount of money you are looking to lock in now? Maybe if you have this massive ticket Yeah, maybe it's a different story I get it if you're looking to lock in whatever your number is that what feels like you I need to have this to feel like I did something with it But like there's a lot of people will get texts from a tweet from people who are like yeah I want to lock in you know a hundred dollars in profit doing that Well, if it means that much to you. Okay, that's one thing, but does it really? Yeah, I mean it's just become this cottage and this reflex this knee-jerk where everybody's always the instinct is I must hedge You made the bet for a reason in the first place if there are injuries That's one story than things have changed. Yeah, if there's not if it's the same team intact and you have that original conviction

I just feel like more people ought to let it ride than not Um, it's just it's so personal is it is so personal I always like that you bring up of just in general like what has changed since you made the bet But I also think like when you're making these bets you need to yeah, you know like there's nothing wrong with Chris Heath Having a three to one ticket right like if that was where you're okay landing with that ticket You just know that if you're gonna hedge along the way it might end up that way three to one still better than nothing Yeah, I mean like that's still better than nothing, but yep You need to know ahead of time what you're gonna end up doing with that How you're gonna play it out and some people at least they think what I said is ridiculous and I get it. It's everybody's Everybody's risk tolerance ever would what you're in it for that kind of thing right And it's it's just I can't so hard for us to answer because it's so personal right it is what is what means a lot to you what would Hey, then some people are just more risk of versus others Clifford J. Maher at a low-hot Chili says good morning. Gail. Please tell your text that the app is not working for watching

It's been buffering frequently since 4.30 a.m. Listening works fine. Thanks. Huh? Clifford wants to see us though in addition to listening And Josie 714 he says I hereby declare on the 14th day of January in the year of 2026 Kelly Billin is promoted to co-host of ANG in the B chair. You're welcome. There you go. Joe B is just promoted you just see as just probably you Joe you'll see them more for banger Okay, it's probably because of my excellent Latin. Oh, that's what I was probably was Sir Shio Rary. What did you say? Um the oh okay last hedging thing real quick You know, and all I could think about when when Will was talking about it too though Just goes back. I know I know we've spent we spent plenty of time on it But oh my gosh, these guys that are in survivor at the end like this is Whatever we want to talk about with with Miami tickets and whatever shirt Like just I'm just thinking back to just a couple weeks ago when these guys had to figure out what they're gonna do with millions on the line. Yeah It's incredible Um one thing back to the will hill segment because will hill was talking about he was taking Josh Allen

Rushing attempts over not sure if he mentioned the wide receiver story with the bills tailing. I'm tailing will you're tailing him on that Uh the bills announced yesterday for those who missed it that uh Tarell Shavers has a torna cl and not only that he played a half with it like 23 snaps or something Ha ha what wow. I'm sad to see him go He was like turned into a thing this season just because of kind of the lack of receivers and he like had a couple nice games So let's do that. So let's go if it says no Joshua Palmer no Curtis Samuel no Gabe Davis who got carded off Recently now no Tarell Shavers so the bills are down to They're down to three guys Keon Coleman Brandon Cooks and Khalil Shaqir Even beyond that right Brandy Cooks just picked up off the streets a few weeks ago. That's correct Keon Coleman reminder a healthy scratch multiple games this year They want to play them. They don't want to play the guy. Yep But you know what killing where do you go to school when Florida state? I'm gonna pretty sure it will be the last time that the bills will be drafting a Florida state wide receiver in the first round after him and Kelvin Benjamin

We're both just fall on their face in bearishments. Oh, they're Benjamin. Remember Keon Coleman was basically the same guy too It's like we need someone who six foot five that could jump up and get these balls from Josh Allen Kelvin Benjamin seemed bigger than Keon Coleman did, but yes, I think that's a little bit. Yeah, if Kelvin Benjamin was a big dude. Yeah Decided I'm just gonna turn into complete bills Fan here on the rest of the week. This is it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Three-watter receivers It doesn't matter. It didn't matter last week. You just got an offensive line in Josh Allen. That's all the matters One on five basketball. It's one on 11 football. It's incredible So here's the latest Anthony Davis For those who missed it. I want to read it exactly how it would have the wording here So Maverick star Anthony Davis will not require surgery now in a zinger left hand After meeting with his physician the team announced yesterday He was expected to quote heel from the injury in approximately six weeks according to the team Mavericks have had renewed trade talks around Davis with multiple interested teams and those conversations are continuing as the February 5th trade deadline

Pardon me approaches. So Anthony Davis you can bet his next team as well Where he might end up Hawks are your short shot at minus 105 everybody else is a distant bet Raptors and Clippers double digits um Stays with Dallas is actually the favorite stays with Dallas or retires. Let's be clear That's minus 400 then it's the Hawks at minus 105 Doesn't feel like he's staying with Dallas or retiring feels like the Hawks are the favorite to me But would you bet the Hawks are are I think the Raptors are really interesting. I wouldn't be running to bet the Hawks I mean think about what you just said we heard over 24 hour period the story on Anthony Davis's injury has changed Needed surgery now. He doesn't need surgery already a guy that's made a glass and you have injury concerns with I don't I don't know if he gets moved or not kill if he if he does Dallas is basically in full salary dump mode and they are hitting the reset button Which is my god from where this franchise was at a year ago with Luca donchich on the team to what this has turned into

I just one of the biggest disasters in in a one-year span that I can remember um Really it's that like I think if you're thinking If you're thinking you're getting a lot for a turn on the return for Anthony Davis at this point I think you're crazy and I think this is just gonna turn into that if Dallas is really accepted that they want Nothing much back we're hit for him that decides getting rid of his salary and getting some draft picks Then sure he'll get moved I don't know that they can can you live with yourself though after move after trading for him trading Luca donchich for him If that's all you're gonna get I don't really know I it's well. I don't feeling he ends up Still on Dallas. I think if you were I wouldn't go after a specific team if you were convinced he's gonna get traded I think you just bet the no price on him staying with Dallas at plus 156 I ex I do expect there'll be multiple teams that will throw us some offers at them I just don't know the Dallas is gonna love any of them enough He uh Let's just let's just put it this way as there ever been a player like this guy He is one of the NBA 75 greatest players

He's he made the 75 greatest group and Before you can even get into the sentence about him to synopsize his career You have to say the off-dangered. Yeah, Anthony Davis. It precedes him career triple career double double guy though of course 24 points a game for the for his career 10.7 boards Could help anybody still to this day. Yeah, I like I mean I look healthy Anthony Davis sure I think those top two teams that are on their Atlanta and Toronto are very Interesting fits with him But I think both of these teams a little bit or they're yes, they're playing Good basketball, but they're also focused on building for the future I think the Atlanta that was a major signal with the trade y'all in truth move. So I don't really Buy into any Davis making a lot of sense It's me though Come back great Peterson college hoops Kelly got some NBA plays and a little later on golf is back Zody open thoughts as well on a numbers game right here at decent

This is a iHeart SEC podcast says what a story of AD goes to Toronto Anthony Davis going to the rafters one of the guys LeBron traded away for AD was Ingraham Only for them both end up in neurano lol can cannot make this up Yeah, we'll see where he ends up Let's talk some college hoops Greg Peterson joins us now courtesy of aggressive gas line. You can follow him on twitter at g unit underscore 81 Greg how you doing man? I'm doing great. We're into the swings of college basketball season and man oh man We've got so much fun and we've got a lot of great teams going down right now, which I love to see Well, let's start with that so last night because I asked this of Matt Cox from three man we've yesterday With Michigan losing to Wisconsin on the heels of Michigan having a brush with Penn state and the question was okay

Is this is this an issue? Is this just the natural course of events where you're you're just not going to be able to go on defeated You're going to have a dip at some point. I'll ask this about Iowa state last night It was the perfect recipe for Kansas sit at Fogg Allen last night Kansas. Just rules Iowa state um Same question about Iowa state just to you know You're not going to go undefeated. This is just a blip or maybe I should ask you this way did this say more about Kansas I think it's a little bit between AMB because Fogg Allen field house one of the most crazy environments So you're going to find it off college basketball that home court advantage is insane and you know that I was saying is Was going to fall back a little bit. They were second in the country in terms of three point shooting percent Going gets one of the best three point shooting defenses in off college basketball I think that this is just what happens with a lot of these top teams go back to when you come one They're back to back national championships. They always seem to have a little bit of a low in January and this happens The most teams where you sort of are hot in non-conference play you get a little bit cold in conference play in like January

Early February and then the goals to be hot in March once again when you're playing your best basketball and trying to make that run So I think that this is just a natural course of events I think that it says a little bit about both teams that Kansas spreads figuring it out and fry it was see There's just a really really good team that on this day had a little bit of a cold night got down early And then played even up in the second half by that by then it was a little bit too little too late Darren Peterson properly priced at a hundred to one to win the wooden award. Is that is that about where he should be? I would say that it even needs to be a little bit longer because keep in mind this guy miss almost the entire non-conference portion of the season He would need to try to win this award with missing 10 games this season I just don't know how you give it to the award to a guy who missed so much time So I would actually say that there's not really a lot of value on him at a hundred to one mainly because he's going up against a whole bunch of guys They're gonna have played a full season. Yeah, tent 10 is a little in college doesn't sound like a lot when we talk about other sports But college basketball it's a third of the regular season basically

Kansas beating Iowa stay yesterday 84 to 63 by the way, I should ask you before we move on for that What about the wooden award? Booser is the is the favorite Cameron Booser duke in minus 210 a.J. Debonsa from BYU at plus 210 Braden Smith from Purdue begins the double digits after that Um, what do you think? The one guy they keep going to that has a little bit of a value is Joshua Jefferson I was in on him when this was more like 30 to 35 to one He's right now sitting here at 15 to one in a lot of spots I think you can probably find it 20 as well on him I still think that there's a little bit of value Especially if I was safe and go out there and knock off Arizona Really the one team that has yet to have a hiccup in college basketball So I want to be watching out for Arizona because they're going to be in action on one sand They're really that one team out of the tops at all of college basketball that other than that game gets you gone They haven't had too much of a test But I was Jefferson he's been doing a little bit of everything at six but eight you generate sternovers He's able to give you rebounds he gives you assist

He's been a little bit of a dude all guy probably with states So I think that he has a little bit of value and I mean when you just take a look at this award in general Darius a cup is right now sitting there at a hundred to one this Arkansas team is really starting to heat up in terms Their offense if he can go out there and continue to be rock sawed as he's been scoring like 19 to 20 points per game as Freshman if he gets hot and as you see play there might be a little bit of value on him as well Yeah, as I look at it I look at the Baron file on it 75 to one and I just feel about him as I do about Alabama, which is I don't know what the way to describe it is a team and and players on the team fine player great players Those hollow way and a team that is just as as I mentioned before it's such a foreseed like they're just kind of there They've got no shot at winning at all. They're going to beat teams that are worse than they're not going to be teams They're better than so please don't bet Alabama or don't bet LeBaron file on for a wooden award as great as he is Let's talk about your fab five great. Let's begin. I mentioned Braden Smith in the in the wooden award market as being third in that at 10 to one Purdue's taking on Iowa tonight in a big 10 matchup you have a side and a total here

Absolutely, I'm going to be one the lay of the Purdue and I like the under because you're going to get a low possession game Purdue They're actually the most efficient team at all of college basketball in terms of point scored on a perp possession basis That said, they're also outside the top to 75 in terms of total possessions per game and they need a team that's even slower in Iowa Iowa pot of 10 team in the country in terms of total possessions per game the four day of this team is limiting the amount of possessions at a game They're a top 10 team in terms of turn of his force on a perp possession basis But for Iowa you'll notice they've got some the biggest home and road spots in all of college basketball I'm not even kidding when I say this they average over 31 points fewer per one hour of possessions away from home rather than at home I think a lot of it is they just don't necessarily have that post presence You don't have a single guy for Iowa that gives you over really five five and a half rebounds per game and have to go up against Clifford gives you some plus rebounds per game blood off college basketball as your terms of rebounding Tray Kaufman Ryan is able to give you a double double I think that's going to be the undoing for this Iowa team that I think it's going to have success slowing things down

I just don't think that they do their part with the total so in on the under animal to lay it with Purdue Auburn, Mizzou over 154 and a half You've got two teams that haven't able to a pretty rock solid job on offense and an Auburn team that really he's not giving anything whatsoever on defense 29th and points per possession for Auburn 220 if in points per possession allowed Go ahead and get some Missouri team that typically under nnesskates these guys love vomit from three But they've been looking to push them on side top 80 team in terms of percentage of the shots that come from inside the three point line and for Auburn They're outside chapter 90 in terms of one and two point cheating percent Which means that there should be plenty of opportunities here for Missouri right now this game is a pick them Any sort of pick them price money line under dog price um Missouri. I like that But with this total I think that this game as a propensity to be close enough for late game following Missouri they themselves give up some role until we saw looks as well So right now seeing that right around 154 and a half 155 I like the over all right you see LA and Penn state. Let's go back to the under here on this one

Absolutely with a pair of teams outside the top through 35 Terms of total possessions per game and they both generate turnovers We've had two teams in the top 50 in terms of turnovers four-sided per possession basis out to the crowd Penn state one the best teams in terms of taking care of the ball and off called basketball Bottom 20 or should it say top 20 team in terms of fewest turnovers on a per possession basis That said it's a Penn state team that doesn't give you any sort of second chances whatsoever Not a single guy in the roster. It gives you over four and a half for you bounce per game Which means that I think that you see always going to be able to play a little bit of bully ball here And this UCLA team has been rocks off from three parades shy their ability saying six but nine He's able to relatively well from three par range That said I do think that this is going to be a game that's very much slowed down and with UCLA There are offense has a lot of volatility when they're away from home as well with this UCLA team You're maybe called mikron and last year What's complaining about seeing the staff you sure of Liberty twice in like three weeks and everything like that Do you think that you see like goes on the road gets a job run against a Penn state team that just really doesn't have a lot down low

So I'm willing to lay it and I'm going to be on the on this total under as well All right one of the last two games the night along with Duke and Cal I suppose TCU in action Catching a whole bunch of points here tonight They are and I like the under as well with TCU because the CCU team rocks on on defense 26th over all inters points allowed on a perpossession basis goes to 24th away from home Another team that does a great job of generating turnover saying you talked about AJ divanza currently being number two for the wooden award That overshadow's effect that BYU has actually been a more efficient defense rather than an offense as far this season With TCU we've already seen them do a rock saw job on defense against like some Michigan Florida Wisconsin. They've taken on some good offenses I think that they're going to limit BYU here being yet we get 12 and a half points like those points with TCU And I like that total 158 now 159 to the under Greg Peterson more than 2000 days in a row of the Coast to Coast hoops podcasts that correct Greg over 2000 days in a row

Over 2250 at this point. Yes, sir Wow Wow and baseball podcasts just around the corner as well have you started that yet? Yes Okay, that'll be starting up the first day of the baseball season wow Greg Peterson podcast maven thank you Greg appreciated Thank you coming back with the whip around next
