This is V-Sense, the sports betting network. The numbers told the story now is down. Swandles idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Gill Alixander, gone V-Sense. Hour number two, of a numbers game at V-Sense, V-Sense, V-Sense, V-Sense, V-Sense, V-Sense.com, Game Plus, I-Hard Radio, YouTube TV, Series X and Channel 158. Gill Alixander, Kelly Biddle. Joe P to coming up later on the show. Talking some baseball sabermetrics. Oh, nerdfest coming up. Let's go. Geek alert. Can't wait. Drew Dinsick standing by as well. I just want to point out. Stefano's tits are passing down a set to Hugo Wimbair. That's not fun. Hugo Wimbair, who has become an indoor hardcore genius. Not as much on the outdoors, but we're down a set in that one. But Camille, my chock doing his thing. Up a break first set. So let's see what happens as these progress between Umbarance, It's a bus.
And then my chock and popper in here, moving forward in Dubai. And again, for subscribers, V-Sense.com slash picks. I will have some ladies plays after the show. Just too many matches to get through yesterday for me. Drew Dinsick knows a thing or two about tennis. Hopefully we'll get them on with Zach Comfort Indian Wells podcast next week. It's amazing how these things are scrunched up now. Like usually there's an extra week. But Indian Wells happens next week already. Tennis is fifth major golf schedules. I'll throw it off too. Yep. Throwing me off. We'll talk NBA with Drew. And of course, a winter Olympics redux. He joins us now. Does Drew whale underscore capers where you can find him on Twitter. And of course, he is the co-host of not one, but two podcasts. The deep dive with Andy Milator and of course, NBC sports. Bet the edge with Jay Croucher. Look at Drew from his Europe trip. He said he was too short. That's the only complaint. It was too short. No, we were there for like a week and a half. Italy was amazing. The Dolomites. Maybe the most picturesque place I've ever seen on earth. Wow.
And yeah, it was it was basically ski eight hours. You know, pizza, drink a bottle of wine, rinse, repeat. We had a very, very, very unique experience where we were the only people who skied over to watch the. Women's Alpine skiing one day. Wow. So we, we, we were staying in Valbody. It was about a 20 kilometer, you know, kind of take a lift up ski down to a valley on a little town. Take a lift up ski down to a little town. We skied over to Cortina. Got there. And they were like, not so fast. You know how to take your ski boots into the venue. It's dangerous. I was like, what the hell are you talking about? So we had to take the bootliners out and enjoy the skiing in our bootliners without our boots, which was kind of funny. But yeah, no one else, no one else, no other boots there. So I know we were the only people that skied to two would be Olympics to watch the Olympics.
True. These are these are very relatable first world problems as well. Yeah. Very related. He had to ski several kilometers over to watch the Olympics. Right. Yeah. I didn't miss that part either. Yeah. But the most picturesque place you've ever been and Drew has been around. So that's saying something right there. The Dolomite. Yeah. Like the, the, the, you could, if you watch the broadcasts, particularly the stuff that was shot in Cortina, like it was remarkable. Like, you know, the, the natural beauty. And I got to tell you, as cool as it looked on television and as great as it looks in the photos that I got, it was better in person. Like, none of it did a justice. It was absolutely ridiculous. The relief of, you know, the, the highest of the high peaks and the beautiful valleys there. So dying to go back in the summer. Anyone, you know, if you're into skiing. You know, if you, especially like the, you know, the steep and the deep, you know, the powder and the, you know, the, the black diamonds that all black diamonds. It's probably not for you. Like stick to, you know, stick to the Western US Colorado Wyoming.
Montana, they'll go, go, go to a big sky and lone peak. But if you like, you know, kind of the, the touring, you know, blue black groomers going from Valley to Valley, skiing 40 kilometers a day, hitting some glaciers. You know, all of those were all the highlights of skiing the Dolomites and, you know, they basically connect the entire network of, you know, an entire region, you know, via ski lift. So you can do pretty much anything. So it was, yeah, it was absolutely incredible. And I wish, I wish the more places in the US would kind of take that spirit of, you know, connecting towns. So you could do that type of touring here. The Olympics from a betting perspective ended up being okay for you despite the, the horrific not getting to 12 and a half gold. Yeah, that was rough. I lost count of the number of very, very likely golds we did not win. The most notable was obviously Ilya Nalanan who truly bottled his free skate in the men's figure skating.
I still haven't been able to watch that. It was such a pathetic endeavor. And, you know, sad, sad state of affairs. But, yeah, Michaela Schifrin. We were there in person when she, you know, she, she bottled the second half of the women's combined. I thought that was a very likely gold as breezy Johnson delivered her a point 06 second. You know, head start on the rest of the field who she didn't beat by a second and a half in the actual solemn event. That's still ahead scratch or how they didn't win that combined. And then the one that was the most like what is happening here is like the jet. I thought that the free ski judging was extremely anti-American. Like there was a healthy bias against the Americans in the free ski. The most notable one was the the big air ski where Mac forehand landed a trick that's never been done in competition. It was a 2160 and anyone who knows, you know, their geometry.
That is 6366 times around and a triple cork, which means his feet went below his head three times while doing six spins on the big air. Again, not only has never been landed in competition. I don't know that it's ever been landed in human history, even in practice. He was shocked that he landed it. Put him into gold medal contention and then the Norwegian who skied after him did a very, very. I've seen this trick a thousand times, but he did it cleanly. And they gave him the highest score of the whole competition and put him in gold. And it was it was it stopped the announcers in their tracks. They were like not I guess they're changing the direction of how they want skiing. Every skiing to go because I can't really defend why why you wouldn't have given it to Mac forehand there. And at that point, I was like, well, I guess this one's just cursed, but Germany didn't even sniff 12 and a half. And the Swiss got there by a half gold. That was actually the highlight of the entire viewing experience for me was watching the ski mountaineering.
Where which is a new sport schema, they climb up the hill on very, very, very lean skis rip off the skins and then ski down the hill. And the Swiss woman comes through with the sixth gold medal for us for Switzerland. And then they landed at six. So that one would end up being quite close, but women's schema came through for us for the Swiss. I was wondering what I was watching with that event. I was like, would they do this every year? I don't remember this. It's brand new. It's actually not brand new. It was it was originally part of the Olympics back in like the 1920s. At the time though, it was it was more about like, you know, they got like the World War one, you know, ski ski patrol doing it where they were climbing up the mountain and skiing down. They've it's evolved into more of an actual like a sprint sport, but it does have roots to go back to World War one. Drew Dinsick everybody next stop tour to France this summer.
That's the kind of stuff we get from Drew right in addition to tennis and NBA and speaking of the NBA. Let's take you out of the mountains of Europe. Let's go to to our basketball and we brought up something yesterday or maybe Kelly and Matt talked about the last couple of weeks as well. But Kelly talked about these yesterday because I went through an extensive sort of tanking deep dive yesterday. Not to steal your your podcast title. Sure. And the subject came up about, okay, the Mavericks are one of these teams. Cooper flag is hurt. Could the Mavericks tank. Trump. Cooper flags rookie of the year campaign. In other words, could he sit. Slash be hurt. You be the judge of how much is, you know, which side of the other. Could he miss enough games in other words where he can't win this anymore and that there's a bet to be made on a guy like. I think yes. I've already been already bet a lot of this. So I hope so. The the general problem that I'm now facing is like the Mavericks might be so bad that they can lose anyway at which point.
Maybe they just play him and continue to lose. And he gets enough counting stats to still be the guy. But, but no, I think I, you know, I'm not sure. That I've seen enough out of his, you know, Cooper flag that is. I haven't seen enough from him to say that this should be an absolute slam dunk. Even if they do both play the full season out. And I think what the hornets are doing right now is kind of one of the most fun and interesting stories in all of the NBA. They are going to threaten to win the Southeast. They're going to threaten to just qualify for the playoffs in the top six. Like this is absolutely on the table, but as well as they're playing right now. And, you know, if that is fueled by, you know, a breakout campaign. And he is effectively the same counting stats as Cooper flag on a team that's actually, you know, that's doing something, you know, notable as far as qualifying for a playoff spot. Then that's a story that's more fun to tell than, you know, Cooper flag is the guy we thought he was on a team that's, that's, you know, and also ran. That's not even really playing hard in March and April. So, you know, certainly if they shut down flag, then I'll, then, then game on.
Like it's, this is happening. Like Khan is coming for that, that, that award. But, you know, even in a world where flag gets his normal 30 minute, 35 minutes a game in March and April. And accumulates the same stats we've seen him, you know, to this point rate. I think the story is, is fun to tell for what Khan Kanepal has done. And really the Hornets as a team being a factor in Eastern conferences is a very cool story. So, count me in as far as this is, you know, potentially going to shock some people in the awards market. Is there a, is there an obvious, most improved player now with avidia's injury? I don't know, I don't think so. I don't know, I don't think so. Jalen Johnson, I know is your current market favorite. That feels weak to me. Jalen Durham, absolutely is, is live. And he could be the guy that gets the credit beyond coach of the year for the pistons having the type of season they're having.
But yeah, I would say most improved player is wide open right now with Danny being hurt with the back. But no lobbyist choice, do you? I don't think Jalen Johnson should be minus 130. I'll tell you that. That feels, that feels like a false favorite. That much you can say. All right, hopefully Danny. Yeah, Kianta George is interesting to me at 15 to 1, but the jazz are tough to give credit at the way things are gone. And he keeps missing it. He keeps missing it. He keeps missing it. He keeps missing it. The old tanker Rudy happened to there as well. More awards talk with Drew in his NBA plays tonight. Next on a numbers game. You're here because you want an edge. You'd think they'd be like beyond rich, but he worked for proctor and gamble didn't see a penny. Oh, really? Didn't see a penny on it. Yeah, I don't know if you remember there were sure a lot of that paperwork when we had to jump on board with draft cakes. Yeah, I do. I do. We get tweets beating the book. We read a couple of these by the way Linda Cartier checking in. Thank you for this Linda talking about the US hockey team says good to see you back ill. She says thank you Linda. She says and thanks for the two tennis winners yesterday. You are welcome. She says hey on the US hockey team. I think most if not all of them are also attending the state of the union address tonight in DC party on boys. So the US women's team declined the invitation. Oh, yeah. The US men's team is going to be at the state of the union. And yes, there's hockey tomorrow. There you go. I'm very. Thank you Linda for that update. Poke therapy talking about Trojans and what? Oh, yes, that's right. The gym route picks. He had two plays on the Trojans Troy and USC. And then I believe I said I he was laying though. Yeah, Spartans of San Jose.
I thought this was a family. I thought this was a family show. Glad to have you back on air. Thanks. I didn't catch that. I didn't catch it either. I said advertising opportunities available. Okay. Drew, everything I know about geometry. I learned playing cool borders too. Drew Dinsick. Kind enough to join us once again. courtesy of the progressive guest line. You can follow him on Twitter and whale underscore cap again. The podcast of deep dive and bet the edge. Drew, when did you end up in the NBA tonight? What did you play? Oh, NBA sides for me. I have two. The big, the kind of the two featured games. I had an edge on. Caps for me right now are rating as your third best team in the NBA. I have them as close to a plus eight in terms of neutral rating.
Nicks for me are more like a plus four. So the fact that you get a little bit of a home court bump. My calves. Nicks number is closer to five and a half. So I laid four with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Really fun and interesting seeing where that market closes. Because that's going to be pretty instructive. As far as Eastern conference pricing tools. Yeah. You know, the nicks and calves are probably going to meet at some point in the playoffs. You would think. So that'll that'll be a kind of fascinating to see where that closes. They're both basically both that full strength as well. Struce out for the calves and McBride out for the nicks. Otherwise, this is pretty much strength. You have full full strength. Kind of fair rating, which is exciting. The. And then the nightcap. I'm much cooler than the market on the trailblazers without. Shade and Sharp and Denny. I have them closer to a minus three and a half as far as neutral rating. And the timbrules for me are a clear, pretty clear plus four and a half. So. I don't give the trailblazers much home court advantage in this one.
Rest is not really a factor. So timbrules for me at six and a half looks like a decent bet. Still, I got it at five and a half. I think that should be closer to seven and a half. So. Now, those two sides for me. Otherwise, across the board, there's a lot of injury news that's going to really inform closing today. And yeah, I think just in general, I'm high and hot on the calves right now across teams in the east. I still think there's a very, very real black swan of Jason Tatum coming back from the Celtics. Maybe as soon as soon as this time next week, we'll see him on court. And that's going to completely reshape the Eastern conference market. I am locked in on, you know, stacks and stacks of Celtics to in the east. And then for the overall title, I still think this is thunder to lose. I think the fact that you can get them now around plus 125 is a decent bet. Once SGA comes back, which I think will again be probably this weekend. That team's going to rate pretty clearly number one in the NBA.
And actually, I said number one and number three as far as neutral rating right now. Number two is the San Antonio Spurs who continue to be an amazing bet on had them last night against the pistons. And that was just a delightful matchup. They played the Raptors tomorrow. That's going to be a must watch game. Spurs right now coming on hard as your second best team in the west for me. I am more pumped about my Spurs Celtics. 125 to one NBA matchup for the finals than anything I have right now. That reminder 125 to one because you bet it right after the NBA Cup, right? I bet it. I want to say it was the first quarter of their third matchup. The Spurs Thunder matchup where again, a lot of thunder love at that moment. I lost a ton of money in everything I'm looking at. I'm just like, I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing. I finally couldn't take it anymore. So I bet Spurs to win the title and also Spurs Celtics matchup 125 to one. I was going to ask you, but you beat me to the punch.
So it's you've got Thunder one Spurs to calves three. And then the Jason Tatum as as our bets years in mind, sort of indicate we are all hoping for the Jason Tatum return sooner than later. And it does feel like. Yeah. Yeah, I was coming. I was I was the trade deadline came and went obviously since we really kind of got deep into the weeds with NBA on your show. And so I haven't really commented on it. But my first takeaway was like no one in the east outside of the cab is really making any kind of a move to try to secure this division or to try to secure the conference was weird. I thought the Celtics move to get which which was kind of a little uninspiring. I wish they had gone a little bit try try to go go a little bit more and the defensive direction as far as getting a big. But that's fine. The fact that nobody else really did anything of note, I think was more telling. And yeah, the Celtics for me with Tatum back after it gets probably about a month of kind of reps and he's closer to being able to handle like a 30 minute a game per night load.
The Celtics would be, you know, right there with the thunder is top two in terms of neutral writing for me. So yeah, that's you know, and it's kind of it's going to be obviously a lot of a lot of interesting things to talk about the Celtics. They're going to suck up a lot of NBA kind of commentary in the month of marches. Kind of absorb what what it means to have Tatum back and, you know, Jalen Brown being such a huge focus of the offensive that team now. I think actually kind of does make the on ramp for Tatum much much more straightforward. He can kind of be more of the defensive, you know, kind of play whatever part you need to stop. You know, you're opposing team defensively and kind of continue to let Jalen Brown be the, you know, the alpha offensively. That is kind of the perfect reentry for him and really makes the Celtics defense substantially stronger having Tatum back. So kind of, you know, people will probably wonder and concern troll about, you know, who the alpha is with Tatum and Brown on the court now that Browns had control the team for months and months and months.
I'm not at all worried about that. I think it's going to be perfectly, you know, perfectly suited for his reentry being more of a defensive stopper. So I'm against the pistons still I think that their kind of general market prices is informed by a lot of outcomes that we've had this year where they are just trying harder in their opponents because it has been an effort poor NBA season to this point and the pistons are trying hard. Talent wise, they don't stack up against the Cavs or Celtics at full strength at all in the Eastern Conference. And I think that's going to be a huge problem and a best of seven series. I think the pistons have an issue with the next, honestly, and the best of seven series as far as talent goes. So, yeah, the pistons for me are a bet against that one. And then yeah, I think I think there's a world where the odds to when the Eastern Conference Celtics are kind of in the minus money range once once we get to April. Let me ask you this in closing. We have 60 seconds, one last award category coach of the year. Now that the pistons of sort of, I don't know, I don't know if plateaued is the right word because that's certainly not it, but I'm just curious. The Celtics are up there too is Joe Mizzula part of this now.
You know, I hadn't really thought about that, but he should be Mitch Johnson and Joe, Joe Mizzula are both going to get a huge amount of consideration if they finish as strong as they're currently patented, you know, as if they hit their upside between now and the end of the season. Absolutely, they should be in consideration, bigger staff. I don't think is done enough to distance himself. And when like, you know, get that kind of a respect from the market at minus 220, I would say that. Yeah, especially if they struggle down the home stretch here, which they could then yeah, that opens the door for Mizzula for sure. But yeah, they're going to get to 60 wins probably. So that might be enough. You're still a Jordan not guy Kelly. I bet I'm a few weeks ago. It's not looking all that great with the sun's injuries now. I don't like nearly I just think there are so many of these categories that I don't think we have any ideas when any of these at this point, listening to some media guys. I think Mizzula is very. Yeah, seven to one shop around Drew. I was a pleasure. Thank you so much.
All right, best luck. Yes. Enjoy the rest of the week. You too, your dancing everybody. Gillen and Drew is anyone going to mention the fact that Knepples leading the NBA in three pointers made. It's like the Hornets drafted Steph Curry light and it's being totally overlooked. Well, not only that con Knepple is now on the cusp. Of setting the all time record for made threes for rookies in a single season obviously rookie season being a single season record.
Keegan Murray currently the record holder with 206 three pointers made. Knepple has a one hundred ninety eight eight shy of tying Murray's record nine to break it. I think you'll get there barring the unforeseen. So yes, thanks for bringing that up Joe Ryan appreciate that. And Jake on responding to folks on Twitter. He said if if they got on me right after the game. I may have been a little less rational had some time to let it settle in hard to be to upset with how Canada played in that game. Tip the cap to hella book having his legacy game. Yeah. And again, as I mentioned yesterday for capitals fans, Washington capitals fans certainly called to mind the Braden Holtby save on Alex tuck in game two of the 2018 Stanley Cup final. Iconic save for Washington capitals fans as hella books was the other day on that wasn't the that was the that wasn't the one that was the one before that. It was just an amazing stick save impossible save.
And there you have it Devon that was a Devon Taves, I believe was the stick save one. Well, a couple things about the Drew thing because I did we didn't have enough time to ask him this. I want to ask you this because we're talking about he got the calves and whenever whenever anybody speaks highly of the Cavaliers. I always think to myself there's a little voice in my head that goes, yeah, isn't this a regular season thing. So the calves are on the court with the nicks and the playoffs. Doesn't Jalen Brunson just start doing Jalen Brunson things again, like what's going to change? What's going to change that playoff Brunson right is a different thing. I have my concern still I think it like I made some best while you were out. We discussed a lot of these though, even while you were still round of kind of the calves lighter schedule down the stretch here. So I did bet them for best record after the all star break. And then took a little bit of them at 10 to 1 in the division to catch the pistons basically. We'll see I'm with you though. I think that team is more constructed for the regular season still. I think it's great to have Harden on this roster. I think for the regular season, the fact that you can run everything through Harden or Donovan Mitchell makes you extremely tough to beat.
How I think translating that over the playoffs is tougher than it sounds. I'm interested to see that he's very high on Boston. I think the Tatum stuff swings everything, but I don't. I'm not as confident as Drew. I guess on how that's going to work with him returning. I think it's going to be very clunky at least at the beginning. We talked earlier originally clean up some things that we didn't get to earlier. We talked earlier about and also from yesterday as well. Can I cut you off real quick? I read that one tweet about Canipal. I didn't mention that stuff earlier. I think I heard I met more from action that we're talking about this the other day. Be very careful if you had bet some of the like legal leader categories in the NBA. There are like specifics at some of the books. I guess of how many games you had to play to qualify for that. Do you know? Do you know how many three pointer Steph Curry is averaging a game attempts attempts. Oh, it's up there. Take a while. No idea. He has 11 point 11 and a half attempts. I was going to guess 12 and he's making four and a half.
So like there are some Canipal stats that are being brought up right now because I think Steph doesn't fully qualify yet as a legal leader because of the games played. So some just keep in mind. If you have bets on that to check your house rules. Because I know I heard Matt bringing up. They were different draftings fanned on other places. We didn't talk enough about the whole coming of cur thing. What an embarrassment to that franchise. I mean, I think it'll get his first action. Yeah, what an embarrassment. It's really bad. Yeah, it's really bad. And you know what you never get that right. I'm actually kind of glad you brought it up that way because you are you're a big Steph guy. Yeah, I think that has made you into a big warrior's guy a little bit fair to say. And we both love Steve Kerr. Like this plan was a complete failure of this next wave after after a career. That was guys. Remember that wise man. Yeah, what a disaster. Moody and Kaminga. All were supposed to be a thing. And Dremon is just whatever whatever he was before a shell of that. It's just ugly. Well, listen to him talk around the trade deadline. It's it sounds like he knows where he's at and he's very aware of where he's at in his career and whatever happens happens.
You wouldn't be to bring this up. It was Rick Carlisle thing. Oh, yes. So this was this is where some of this NBA taking stuff get really hit a slippery slope. Rick Carlisle talking on a radio show not that long ago in Indianapolis. These guys were at the combine. I want to make sure I get this right. 93 five. The fan in Indianapolis talking about the $100,000 fine. The Pacers receive for violating the player participation policy. Carlisle quote during the interview with the NBA. They also asked if we considered medicating Aaron Neesmith to play in a game when we were 30 games under 500. Carlisle said that Neesmith could not hold on to a basketball. But the NBA quote unilaterally decided he should have played in the game in question without talking to Neesmith or Pacers doctors. Not good firing back at the league. This is where it's like the leagues got to be careful that there's only so much you can do. There's only so much you can do in season. Adam Silver has botched this massively. And again, I'll just say what I said yesterday.
This was David Stern. So it's been figured out a long time ago. I'm not sure what that would have been, but he'd have figured it out. We talked earlier real quickly about AJ Brown. You can bet on where his next team or what team will be his next team over draft Kings. We don't really have much to say about it. The Eagles still remain the favorite there. The bills were eight to one. We sort of noted off air. The bills are always in a market for a wide receiver. It seems like in perpetuity. Patriots are the only other team in between at plus 175. And I don't really have any thought on this at all. Eagles against Nick Seriani saying, you know, we think he'll be here. So I don't know if that'll happen. How he roseman though. The one the only guy that matters here hasn't really chimed in on this. So there's that. But then there's Tyree Kill. The dolphins are lined as the worst team in football next year. Them in the Cardinals and Tyree Kill. Short shot for next team odds is the Kansas City chiefs at plus 150 is a reunion in store. For Tyree can the chiefs Tyree blow it out his knee.
Obviously the bills six to one. The number two team. The bills in perpetuity. You need to go wide out Ravens or seven to one. Um, note that the dolphins are nowhere to be found on that list. So. I don't know. I don't have a feeling on any of this. I, you know, I don't know what Tyree will have. There's no way of knowing what he'll have in the tank. Yeah. I mean with him by the tank. I mean speed, right? Right with him. That's the question. And we don't know. I think it's kind of fair to assume or question with it. You know, really how talented he can be and how much he can add to a team going forward. I think the chiefs reunion probably makes a lot of sense. Right. They're still wide receiver needy team. Guess guess what? It's not the same situation as when he left. He's not the same player. He's not going to have to get paid the same amount. And Eric be out of me back now with the chiefs. Yeah. Yeah. So there's that. So a reunion of, of, of big time, perhaps in store. I think bills. I was telling you off the air. But it's like the bills like Joe Brady. They can't make it hard on him. Like this is you can't have the same positional concern.
Like four years in a row and then like have the fail or the losses in the playoffs where the bills have and not like make a sort of splashy move. So whether it's the draft, whether it's one of these free agents. I expect Buffalo to be involved. I don't think Terry kills the guy though. No. And there's no way of no until we salmon. For a guy who based his whole career on speed. Right. It's tough. Yes, we talked about AL MVP a bit. I said that I like at the number Julio Rodriguez and the athletics Nick Kurtz. I like both of those guys that their numbers. They're in the sort of low double digits. Both of them. We didn't get to talk about the other stuff. Honestly, Kelly, I don't have much to say about. First of all, NL MVP. Just again, we live in Shohei's world. Nobody loved Barry Lamar bonds more than I did. Seven time MVP. And even I say. But Shohei is something different. Again, I don't remember Barry Bond's last fastball to you. But Shohei is just the disease.
He's Babe Ruth, right? He's just a different entity. And entirely he is going for his fifth MVP. And he has properly priced at minus 125. I can prattle on about anybody else. But again, none of these guys pitch that you see on the screen with exception of course, skins on there and he doesn't hit. Right. So I just. Oh God. I just don't even think Paul schemes by the way 35 to one to an MVP. I just don't. I could sit here and make up stuff. But in my head, I would be lying to you because it's still Shohei's. To lose. I don't want so to the only other person in single digits at plus 750 after a stat filled huge year for the Mets last year. And I know Mets fans will be like, yeah, but he didn't come through in the clutch. Yeah, I'll be still put up numbers. So I don't have anything to say about MVP. And then in this case, the Saiyung, we did briefly touch on this yesterday. You know, we may be entering this unbelievable thing. Scoobles won the last two American League Saiyung Awards. But if he is not going to be a tiger at the end of the year, there's a possibility he could be in the National League.
So that's a kind of dicey bet at this point. Right? Even though he is correctly the short shot plus 350 maybe Garrett crochet is the more sound play there. Although I'm not really sure the red socks are going to be any good. Right. So I don't. It scares me. The American League Saiyung bet that I made. Again, I made it on Mackenzie Gore at 40 to one. That's the only awards bet I have made. And then nationally, skiing is trying to win back to back. You going to bet against him? No, I'm not. What do you think the chances are that Scoobles does get treated? It'll all depend on their performance. Yeah. You know, so much of this is dependent on that. So we'll see about that. Joe Pita coming up. Some NBA in between. It's a numbers game. Advice of these sports betting network. Well, not going to be as sexy as the day today as it was yesterday.
Stefano's Titsupas goes down and straights to Hugo and bear. Don't give a unit back on that one. Six four seven five. Oh, bear. Serve is unbelievable these days. But. That's that was a Titsupas tournament. And that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. Can you give this tournament and it's outdoor, so I thought the other way. I was wrong about that. He's served bot. Right? Unserf, classified my serve bot, we usually reserve for like the Ryleo Melchus or Jon Istner of the world, but he's he's getting there. Okay, unfair because he's not that good of a server, he's got more of a complete game. Bang. Second one. Okay. He's great server, but he's got more of a complete game than those guys that got you. Yeah. He's like, he can't be a served body's too good. Right. He's too good at tennis. He's too good at actual tennis. Yeah. We had tweets be to the book, Dan Groschel saying that was the single greatest 60 minute
stretch of hockey. I ever watched. You said I would have felt the same in reverse at the USA lost. The pit boss could be wrong. Oh, it's a wrong episode post on Apple under ANG. We're on it. Okay. We're on it. Danny Burmette saying the same thing. Thank you for the tweets. Rob Bear saying the same thing. People who don't watch live, right? A bit of on delay as well. We appreciate that. Kirk Cousins Kelly and the Atlanta Falcons parting ways. Oh, yeah. I've got a couple of news items to update you on. So general manager in cunning him. I'm just dropping radio stations. I like this on 92 9 the game this morning did confirm that they informed Kirk Cousins last week that he will be released on the first day of the league year. So we had reports out there. We kind of knew this was coming confirmed by the Falcon. So that will be happening. Okay. I will be the first to say that it is not a strength of mine to do capology stuff. Right. Yeah, me either. But just a brief sort of overview of Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins is 37 years of age. I'm not an expert.
However, however, because I lived with him as a Washington football teamer and Redskin before that, right? At good years after RG three with Washington, he played the, you know, he bet on himself with Daniel, Daniel Snyder did not want to sign Kirk Cousins to a long term deal. So Kirk Cousins bet on himself and he made like two or three years in a row. And this is years ago, right? When no one else was making this, he was making 30 plus million. I think he might even touched 40 million. So that was with Washington that Minnesota goes ahead. I remember the first contract from Minnesota was three years, 87 million off the top of my head. He said like the best contracts ever. Yeah. And then what was the deal with Atlanta was a four year 180 million dollar deal. Now, I don't know how much of that ended up in his pocket, but career earnings, Kirk Cousins, who by the way, just this just in, not a Hall of Famer killing $321 million, $692,692, $254, 321 million dollars.
You know what? So there is a couple. We went through a couple. Odds, you know, Cousins got a few posted, like Max Crosby's in the news. I'm kind of surprised with some of these teams, yeah, like we got, I didn't see all this from over at NFL.com, Rick Rosenthal kind of putting together a list of the top free agents. I still haven't seen the next team odds for like Malik Willis, Kirk Cousins, like some of these guys that you thought would be a little bit more kind of popular for betting markets. I mean, especially Willis, like Willis is a, I didn't say big time, but he's going to be an attractive quarterback option for some of these teams. Well, when we did the backup quarterback rankings, he was way up there. And Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com has him as the number one available free agent in the National Football League. Malik Willis, who was great every time he filled in for Jordan, love this past year. You can say great, right? He was certainly very good. Oh, he was great filling it. Yeah. If it might convince you are absolutely going to sign the equals, you're like, hold a favor.
Let's get him in here. No have memories of Tennessee, but yes, what we saw in Green Bay was awesome. Dolphins GM, John Eric Sullivan, their new GM on Malik Willis, quote, any team in a quarterback needy situation that tells you they're not talking about Malik Willis, that'd be a lie. Oh, really? John Hyphen Eric with a lot to say today, because I also said, quote, everything is on the table with quarterback to a tug of law. It's been communicated to two and his reps who confirmed two of plans to continue playing, he didn't outright express interest in doing so in Miami. They have not in particular said he wants to stay. Yeah. What was the question that you got remember he was like, it's like, do you want to be, you want to leave? You want to be traded? He was like, that's cool. It was better like that. He said that'd be dope. That'd be dope. Yeah. I was like, all right. That's an interesting business move, but okay. That'd be dope is the equivalent of the most apathetic response I've ever heard of that question. Yeah. That'd be cool. Thanks, Danny.
And we're also got a lot of little news and nuggets coming in as the NFL isn't in the India is in Indianapolis for the combine this week. This one about the Ravens time of Linda bomb, who we also saw in that list, a top free agents. The Ravens have made him a quote market setting offer, market setting offer, that sounds about right. Lamar Jackson coming back. Healthy. You need Linda bomb there for sure. Are you a combine better? No, not nor am I. Do you think you'll have any bet on the combine? No, not at all. I don't even do they have more than just like the 40 yard dash. This sounds like a Luke Swayne Vegas refund kind of thing though. Doesn't need bet this. Don't think he does. I think this is more of the, I haven't checked in with him yet, but it's on my list. The, I think this is more info gathering stage for him still. What do you have in the NBA tonight, sir? NBA. I do have a couple bets, always like when Drew Dinsett comes on here and gives me a little bit confirmation. Cause you know, who didn't help me out with this last night was the hardwood handicapers group chat. You know, every like the, we get openers and I'm like, you're my crazy. Am I crazy? And you're looking for a little confirmation about you, not being crazy.
Zach and JVT didn't help me out as much as Drew didn't want willing to give you that. Drew said basically what I did. I hope it saw the openers and you're like, okay, you're weaving your way through these tanking teams. And I'm like, I get to all the way to the bottom. And I'm like, the wolves at the blazers. Like I just saw Denny off the Aliva game. Like there's no way he's playing tonight. Shading sharps, Mr. It passed you questionable tag on him. Look, the wolves have burned me as bad as bad as anybody, but about spurs number one this year. Really just those spurs thunder games really. And then the timber wolves, because the timber wolves have been doing this thing for multiple years now. And I, but this year, I think is a better example than any of they can play with the best kill. And oh boy, can they play with the worst sometimes they're, they're one of the more frustrating teams in the NBA to me. So I opened it up though. I saw five and a half. I'm like, you're not going to have Denny off the, you're not going to have shade and sharp me in this Portland team six and eight over the last 14. I have overbets on their win totals. Don't get me wrong. I will be brooding for this team hard down the stretch. But even just last month, the wins they've had Memphis, Memphis, Philly, Utah, Phoenix,
the other night down Devon Booker and a couple guys there in Phoenix. So that was unimpressive. I went and laid five and a half on open with the wolves. I think it's out to six and a half. I still think that number is fine. But we had just talked about the Minnesota Timber rules, too, Gil. I don't do this often. I think I quoted Andy Baldur was with this with the whole like we always talk about betting all. It's when do we actually do it? You know, one of those for the NFL and NBA. This is a game. I think I will be adding some all time Minnesota because Minnesota is just as likely to win by 13 or lose a game out right like this is that's how the, the feel I have for Minnesota. So I did lay five and a half last night. I probably will add one all to like eight and a half, nine and a half. It's perplexing team to you betting wise in the NBA. Hell for a while. It was that whole thunder spurs thing for a while. It's not the case anymore. I think Minnesota's number one and the New York Knicks are up there, too. The thunder spurs thing. You have a rap on it. You have all your hands around that now. Well, it's just arms raffer on it. The spurs are undeniably good and you cannot.
This is the one Brian Winhorse line. I keep, I keep kind of stealing it, but you cannot put a ceiling on Victor Wendell. Like there's no, we all knew he was going to be. Amazing. Like any game we're like, wow, that guy was great. Like we, we got to stop acting surprised about like he's a generational talent. I think I was not sold on the rest of the roster at the beginning of the year. I'm actually very impressed with how it's all come together. It seems damn good, man. That gets back to and I hate saying this because then it always sounds like I'm, I'm saying it as a gloat, but I'm not. I'm trying to say it as a handicapping thing. I do think the too close to the O.K.C. sun, right? For NBA hardos was it, it can be a detriment, right? And was for the spurs thing because it was just so clear. If you just showed up and watch because that first one between the spurs and the, uh, the thunder, that was the first one where I'm like, Oh, who do I trust more on all offense down the court? And they were at full strength at that time. Yep. I mean, it's clearly the spurs. It's clearly the spurs because when Monyama can, can overtake both sides of the court, by the way, those guards for the spurs are awesome too.
What else to do? They've been extremely impressive. Other one, I laid the points with the Hornets as well. I laid seven and a half, I'd go eight and a half, um, like you looked at, I think they're a great money line tie in tonight, should have Kobe White making his debut for the Hornets back in Chicago playing. I think the only thing I differ with you a little bit on Chicago is, I don't really know about this team right now. Like they're basically running out a whole new lineup outside of like Josh Giddy. And I think there's some of like, we're going to try to figure out how much of these guys work for next year, but you know, kind of like the Cooper flag thing. You can do this while losing games. So like, I don't really know why, why Dallas is over complicating things. But look, Hornets back at it, a couple of tough losses out of the break against Houston and Cleveland at home, go to face a Bulls team that four and 12 over their last 16 to their credit tough schedule. Though Nick's pistons, Raptors, Celtics, Nets, Nuggets, Raptors, their last seven games. That is a bruise. How about the Bulls? Yeah, the Bulls. Bulls have lost nine in a row, 12 of their last 13 keep it rolling.
Students style tonight. I got, I got the three teamer, uh, brain dead Parley happening. We'll talk about that a little later on as well when we recap all the bets. Joe Pita on baseball. Most wins, fewest wins NFL will do it all. It's a numbers game at Visa. These sports betting network.
