The numbers told the story now is now swandles idiots who believe in athletics. This is a numbers game with Gil Abix and Ergon Vsinn, a numbers game here on Vsinnese Sports Betty Network Matt Brown in for Gil one more hour Gil back in here on Monday, Kelly Bidlin, our wonderful crew behind the glass. Appreciate you guys making the last two weeks unbelievably fun and awesome here on the program, appreciate all the hard work, all of the stuff that you guys do, really, really do appreciate all of that as we look up and see what we're team Finland, however we our lead got cut into here. We're 2-1 now. 2-1 over in the Olympics and the reason we're doing that is because we're team USA so that's why we're team Finland. We're team USA because we're team Finland because we think that we would have an easier path through Finland than we would Canada. That's why we're team Finland here on the desk. Yes. 1 Finland, live money line, Canada still favorite, minus 145 second period, five minutes
to go, five and a half year live total, which also feels steep, under minus 125 can lay a goal and a half with Canada, no, lay a goal and a half now with Finland plus 325. I will say Canada, as I look on the screen there and get the stats, they have doubled up Finland on shots. So they have twice as many shots as Finland does. So Finland run in pretty pure because they are, they have scored on 20% of their shots, they're two for 10. They only have 10 shots. Okay. We've got two goals. I think 20% shooting would be like awesome in hockey. It sounds good. Yeah. I don't really know, but it sounds like that would be amazing in hockey. If you shoot 20% in hockey, I'm pretty sure you'd win every game. I mean, the other one I'm looking at, you know what, you know those things that we do with betting that you convince yourself, you just can't, like, you convince, some, some happens once twice and you just convince yourself it's always going to happen twice, three times, three times a lady, you know, some, yeah, the, you know, we got a tweet.
What was it on Thursday, boarding or Wednesday night about Aldrich potgator? Yeah. Yeah. I swear, if you, if you are ever thinking about betting a golfer and you know, I'm going to say no, I don't like him, just tweet at me and I'll say no, I don't like him and you're almost guaranteed to be up there on the leaderboard. It's like, I feel so bad how often people tweet me asking about golfers and I'm like, yeah, I just don't really like him this week and then they're like top five every time. Here's the thing though, his, and it might not because variance is variance is variance, but his potter will eventually fail him. Is he putting lights out? I didn't look at that. Yes, he is putting very well and he is a horrific potter. So his potter will eventually, yeah, fourth in the field and put it right now. His potter will eventually fail him. Aaron, right. You're a punny leader. That's what I'm saying. Like this leaderboard is, you cannot take what has happened away from these guys so far. Like he is sitting six under and podgator is sitting four under and like, yes, you could bogey four holes and you're still even par.
But oh my gosh, man, but we are getting some outlier performances. There's a lot of bad putters actually that I'm looking at, we're getting outlier performances right now. Yeah. So just keep that in mind. This leaderboard, I think, is going to look a lot different. It decimates Yama 200 par and dead last in the field and strokes gained around the green. That doesn't sound right for Hodecki. This is, I love, I love what a bad weather round could do to stats just first round stats right? Because that's just not what Decki does. Exander bogeyde on 18 to fall back to three, but that's, he finishes three under on his, oh, on his, oh boy, that's going to give the dreaded, the dreaded three, the dreaded three putt. He had a 59 foot putt still left at 12 feet away from the hole and then missed the 12 footer. Who you got? Xander Fleetwood and Adam Scott, Adam Scott, who I don't think is doing anything. Yeah, I need. Oh, no, he's, he's one under and he hadn't started his second round. There you go.
I need a big round out of Decki here, need him to get in the mix. A home at top 20 would be nice. He's sitting T 25 and then a more a cow at top 10 and he's sitting T nine. Yeah, you're looking better than me. We repeatedly, we repeatedly say that's how we like, that's how we keep the, the bank account. Oh, for sure. That's how you, that's how you keep your, your bankroll in check here is the head to heads and the placements and the things and stuff like that because I know we don't have to remind most people that watch this program, but some people refuse to want to completely soak in that only one person wins a golf term. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Even in this one, one out of 72. Usually it's one out of four. It's usually one out of one 26 or one out of one 44 so, you know, it matches this year. Yeah. Yeah, but usually it was one out of one 56. Yeah, it's just a one of those things for me where I just, you know, I, this golf season is going to be an interesting test for my, for my typical handicap and handicapping performances
because the gap between, the gap between all these players has shrunk so much where all of these guys are so good that I don't know that the edge we used to get on a week to week basis is going to be as pronounced as it has been in years past because I think the gap between the very best player in the world in Scotty is definitely a gap, you know, then to Rory and then Rory to a gap to whoever, but then like, you're five to thirty five. Yeah. It's almost like put them in a hat and like pull them, I mean, they're almost all the same dude. Yeah, I can't speak for you, but I think my petting results over the past five years would kind of speak to that too. It's, yeah, we, like you said, me and you, especially when we first started doing this and leaning into it at a couple of really great years, they leveled out a little bit more last year for me. The, your middle of the pack guys, there were clear, there were clear, better middle of the pack guys than there were the lower level of the middle of the pack guys and now that's
just not the case. Right. And Schuffler wasn't dominant, you know, you couldn't give him six wins, seven wins a year. I mean, a, a harkening back to three years ago, which again, the, the greatest golf betting scene they'll ever happen will never happen again. Everyone had nine outright, right? Remember to hit, I had wind them twice at 70 plus. Yeah. That was sick. But it was like he was priced at 70, but his, his game was so much better than the other guys priced at 70, like, like it would, there was so much value on him at those numbers. We don't get that. I mean, like the guys at 30, they're all the same guy, you know, like they're all the same player. The guys in the 40s are basically all the same dude. There's no, there's no big separation in the tears like they're used to it. It's like the, I mean, it's just the even these player profiles, right? It's the, hey, what's the difference between Sandra Schuffler and a column more account? Like not much or Tommy Fleetwood and you call them more account, not much, right? Like they're not long off the tee. Xander is a matter of fact. I mean, I mean, Fleetwood. Fleetwood and more account.
It's like, hey, not long off the tee, but okay, great on a long approach. You blog approaches, struggling with the putter, sometimes Fleetwood's better with it. Yeah. Just kind of as it is, but again, we'll keep, we'll keep going out like I said, maybe I'm just going to lean way, way, way, way, way heavier in the placement markets than I have in years past. You know, maybe that's just the adjustment. I started doing that more last year, but then it's, you know, you need multiple years of data to kind of go off of to, for your betting, right? Like it's, I actually love this conversation, Matt, because that was, I dialed back outright bets significantly last year and was doing that more. And you know, the one thing that we, we talk about often, okay, those top 20s and matchups and everything, they help carry your bankroll, but you know what also was nice is a huge spike in your bankroll with an outright way. So it's like when you're dialing back, how much you're, how much you're, how many outright bets you're making, then it's, you obviously decrease your chances of hitting right excited. It's harder to factor at the end of the year, how much of your outright's, you know, are you doing that right? Or is it doing that wrong? So I'm kind of doing the same thing again this year, and I'm like you, I'm kind of interested to see how this pans out.
The AL West is a division where the mariners are going to be your favorite at plus 110. They come back with a pretty good lineup and an awesome rotation. And that's really the differentiator here in this division between them and everybody else, which is this mariners squad is just absolutely loaded from a pitching standpoint. And that is why you're going to find them as low as they are. And the, the, the, the batters are nothing to sneeze at. Don't get me wrong. But when you're going to roll out a rotation of Brian Wu, Logan Gilbert, Luis Castillo, George Kirby and Bryce Miller, I mean, that is the best one to five. There isn't all the baseball. And it's probably not even all of that, all that close. Got Andres Munoz as your closer, who is a lockdown closer as well. I mean, this is just as good as you're going to get from a pitching staff, which is why this, this lineup won't have to score near as many runs as, as some of these other ones, because I think this pitching staff is going to be so incredibly good. And because of that, I do have a bet on Munoz to lead the majors in saves. Oh, okay. Because I do think that this team is going, you can see their windtools.
They're going to win a lot of games, but I don't think that this lineup is one that's just going to blow people out all the time. So I think Munoz is going to get a lot of opportunities to close games out. And so I took, that's the bet that I love the most actually in this division is Munoz is Munoz to win, to have the most saves in all the baseball. Yeah. Okay. I like that. It's not even, I don't want to say it's a substitute for playing it. I can over a windtotal, but you're obviously thinking that way. If you're playing a guy to lead it, yeah, for saves and then yeah, the lineup factors into. Yeah. So I think that that one's super, super interesting to me. I am a little bit out on the Astros. As I said, I'm a little bit out on the Rangers, as I said, as well, which kind of like it defactos to the Mariners here for me in this division. I don't really love any of these teams like holistically outside of the pitching rotation for the Mariners, but boy, you just look at the, you look at what you're going to get. If you look at this Ranger team and you're like, you've got to hit on DeGrom again. Like DeGrom stayed healthy last year for the first time in like a decade, you know,
you've got to hit on him staying healthy again in his age 38 season, not likely, right? Nate E of Aldi is entering his age 36 season. You need him to stay healthy with all of that Jack Leiter came up in your huge prospect, but then he got injured because he's a guy that throws 98 miles an hour and people's arms can't take it. You know, and he got hurt and so you need him. There's just a lot that has to go right in my opinion for the Rangers. So that's why I can't get there on them either a certainly have a ton of upside, a million just young players. And so you basically just have to have, you got to run pure, right? Like just because so many young players just struggle at the beginning and then they figured out, but like majorly, the difference between AAA and majorly baseball is just so incredible, you know, and so, but you got to have a lot, a lot of young guys to really step up for the age. But I think, I think 76 wins sitting at that 75 and a half wins. I think 76 wins are certainly within their own possible. You know what the number actually on this whole, this whole division that jumped out to me the most angels that all the way up at 70 and a half wins? I hate the angels. So I'm not the person to ask about the angels.
Like I absolutely hate you because that feels high for what I've heard from, from to the baseball. I absolutely hate the, I absolutely hate the angels like top to bottom. I hate this team. So yeah, I'm the wrong person to ask about not a bad for you though on their under. It's about right. Okay. You know, it's about right. That's still a pretty terrible, still pretty terrible season. But yeah, I'm, I'm not getting there. Let's talk about some NFC South bets when we come back. You're here because you want an edge. That's what separates listeners from winners, but let's be real mindset alone doesn't get bets home pros win because they've got the tools, the data and the discipline. And now, so can you be some programs you access to the same real time insights, the sharps use, no secrets, no fluff, just actionable info that moves markets, tap the link and see why serious betters are turning knowledge into profit with visa and pro. A number is game on fee set, the Sports betting network.
Numbers game here on these sports betting network, rich people getting richer, Kirkson Netty agreeing to a new deal with Indiana. Oh good for you say annual salary 13.2 million who 13.2 million at Indiana for football and who to thunk it good for him good for him is right. Ain't nobody ain't nobody stealing him away because that buyout can be big. Yeah. Yeah. That buyout can be big. Finalizing the deals got to be fun, but just even like the month leading up to it when you're like, man, I'm gonna, I'm gonna get paid so much money. That's got to be a great feeling, you know, when you, yeah, you can literally start spending money. You don't have, you know, it's common. Yeah. And here's the, here's the problem with the guy like him is he's probably not going to do what somebody like me and you would be like, he's probably just already driving the car that he would drive and like, whatever, and like, you'd be like, why is Matt pulling up
in a Bugatti? Like, what is it? What is it? What is it? What is it? Oh my god. Why am I blanking? I'm like, he's driving a million dollar car and I'm like, I just saying, you know, it's just like, I liked it. I saw it's used. It's used. It had like, it had 150 miles on it. I'm blanking on Alpharboros Alpharboros. Do you remember him? Do you remember him story? Dude, I was still, I was in Florida. We covered him at FA. You and the car became a story then. And it was, and you were like, well, good for this guy because he's not making the pros. Like he was still there with Schnellenberger was coaching. Like, Schnellenberger couldn't figure out whether he was going to put him like it full back or running back. And I was like, the whole time I'm covered, I'm like, this guy and making the pros, like, there's no way. They like burst out of the pros as a great season. And it's still just driving that car. And it was, that was awesome to see. There was, so there was a time, a little, a little, little personal story from, from knowing behind the scene stuff. So even in the height, even in the heyday of, of the UFC, when force Griffin was one of the, like, biggest, most popular names. He had one,
he had become champion at that point and also that. So for winning the original ultimate fighter, one of the, one of the gifts because the show was sponsored by, I mean, remember what, what car company, but it made it. I look at it was a Mazda that out for Borussia. It made, it made those little, it was those little boxes. Like it was like, it was like the sions. Sion. Yeah. So sion little wheels. I never understand how sion sponsored like whatever. So him in, in all the winners for like the first three years, I think of the deal, like, one a little sion. And so this guy's literally the champion of the UFC winner and like, force Griffin roll up to the gym in this like sion. And this like a seven year old sion, you know, that he got for free. And you're just going, bro, you are the chain. Like, I know for a fact, I mean, it's not the money they're making today. Like I know for a fact, you've made a lot of money. And when you're like, you just roll up in his sion. Those are, those are maybe the, of like, you know, cars that became like a fad or like, had a moment, right? That was definitely
the top of the list of like, for me, I don't get it. Like, I don't get it. Like, you're tripping around a box. Why are the wheels so small? The wheels are like so small. I rode one time, we like went, and it was so loud. And like, it's just like, you're like, like, you're driving like, he's trying to talk and I can't hear you. Like, what are you? What do you say? Things are driving in that car. It's like, oh my God. Dude, like, why are you? You're a professional athlete, driver. This is not safe. Like I'm positive. Right. A motor cycle hits you in this thing's going to lower. Oh, it would be scared. Yeah. I would be scared. So this next segment not brought to you by sion. I don't think they make them anymore. So that's why I was okay. Say, like, I don't think I was burning a sponsor because I think sion is done. So when had to have own to that company though, right? I don't know. No, apparently not. Okay. So vason.com slash guide right now for the baseball betting guide. Okay, the NFC South and, you know, this is I know the third one team that you have a passionate take on me too as well. And what, you know, if you weren't with us for the entire show, then this will be new to you. And if not, then you'll really see how we feel about the Falcons and the Panthers. I like the over on the Falcons. You like to under on the Panthers. They're both set at six and a half wins in a division that for some reason they are below the Saints, which don't you wrong. The Saints I think should be should be better. But from a talent level, you know, Saints are far less talented than the Falcons.
You know what from I think the 150 threw up through me off on this map, but as I was going through this, I went through it like team by team. I didn't really do like division by division. So I didn't even put this together yesterday. You're how the hell do they have a higher window? Yeah. It's just it's it's insanity to me because you look, they this Falcons seem gets to play each one of these teams twice. They are going to they're going to win at least one against all three of those teams. And they might sweep a couple of it. I mean, they're again, from a talent level, just player for player for player. They are more talented than the Saints, the Panthers. And then you could like get into a real argument discussion on the books. Obviously the quarterback position is we don't really know what Pinnix is, but outside of that, there's a lot of good players on on the Falcons. Yeah, you take away if we take away quarterback, the Falcons have the best roster in division. Yes, I'm with you. And it's probably just looking at that graphic like eight. Yeah, I want to see other way when they were in make my initial list by like like I told you, they were the first team I was writing about the kind of notes to myself. Falcons would probably be over win total play. And
if this is what the division prices are really going to be, it's definitely going to be a piece of that. It's good. So that's the thing is it's a never bucks bet. Right. I mean, plus one 20 with again, like Baker got nicked up last year. And we'll see what ends up happening in the off season. I'm sure we're going to hear about him having a couple of surgeries and things and whatever because his play dropped off a cliff. Oh, he was playing through like three entries by the end of the year. His play dropped off a cliff. And so like something needs to get fixed, whatever it was, it was ailing him. Yeah, like you can't tell me the Baker may feel that we saw at the beginning of the season, which I thought was maybe the MVP of football with how good he was playing. And what you saw at the end of the year, you cannot tell me with convinced me he wasn't playing through multiple. That's something I like, I'm my guesses we're going to hear about him having a surgery or two here in the off season or something whenever they get the camp thing, like, yeah, I had this cleaned up and had this cleaned up. And you know, whatever we're going to hear about all that. But they are not, they are not that much bigger of a favorite over the Saints, the Falcons. And you could even throw the Panthers in there. I mean, like listen,
if you're going to, if you're talking to four 25 for the Panthers, I mean, like it is a bet on any one of those other three teams other than the box completely agree. I mean, this is, this is pretty, I mean, geez, I mean, the surprise you're seeing that big of a swing in the division prices, considering the wind totals are that far off from each other. Right. Yeah, I'm with it for just division price bet on anybody else. And if you really want to bet the bucks, you think the bucks, the best team is division, just wait and see, right? Wait and see on the Baker news, right? Like the plus one 20 is not going to get worse. Is not going to, is not going to get worse, probably going to get better. Maybe it get, maybe it gets worse from where it drifts to once you really find out what's going on with Baker, Mike Evans, those type of guys, but yeah, it would be weighed on them. I mean, you have Tristan worse, which by the way, has been battling a ton of injuries, as we know, with all of that, but like the interior offensive line for the bucks is terrible. And so like, that's what you saw a huge drop off from bookie Irving this year. He couldn't get anything going on the ground like they can't run with this interior offensive line. So then you've got to go and you've got to, so you have to address
that. Well, Mike Evans still going to want to get paid, even though he's old, you know, and so, and you as a franchise, probably wanting back to give it kind of one last go here, you know, your window with the, with the age of this team, you know, your window is not incredibly large, you know, and so you probably are going to overpay to keep Evans in town. And so does that mean you can't get too offensive on and you can only get one. If you look like their defensive line, pretty big holes on that as well that need to be fixed. So it's, it's a, it's a team that has multiple question marks for me, which is why I just can't believe that they are that big of a favorite over Saints Falcons and Panthers, and specifically the fact that you are nearly, that you're, I mean, granted, do I think the Panthers run back what they did last year? Like, I mean, like, maybe not, but four times four times the odds. Yeah. Of the bucks. Like, there's no way I can't get there either. And I like the Panthers under on their window. And I'll probably get a bet that as well. I think that the Saints, I probably have the most
question marks about, I guess, in this division still. Right. We have a sample size of a quarterback that was basically playing with, with nothing to lose because they weren't going to make the playoffs that was whatever. And he just was able to kind of go out there and play freely. What does he look like when it's his team, his gig, whatever and all of that, you know, I'd even extend that to the coach too, right? Like you're playing with house money a little bit in the last year with stuff you're calling, right? Right. I think that applies to the coaching staff too. Things tighten up this year when there's a little bit more pressure on you. Panthers, man, I, I mean, I've been saying it for what three years now. Matt, I still don't know how good or bad Bryce Young is. Like, I don't know. Yes, I think you found a great wide receiver about how much does that really elevate your team? I said, there are major question marks still on this deep, the defensive side of the ball. I think with Bryce Young just being, being as small as he is, mainly offensive line is always got to be a focus. I'm interested to see what this team does in the offseason, but I still think I think they're probably pulling up the rear in this division. I
think I'll end up on another, another underwind total. Yeah, I mean, in the game with the Falcons, like really good offensive line. You've got London, you got Robinson, you're probably franchise tag pits. So you don't have to look at the offensive side of the ball. You just go in, you need corners, you need pass rushers, quarterback and defense. Yeah. Yeah, like you need, you need corners and pass rushers, but at least you know exactly what you got to get going right there with that team. So I, again, I just over the wind total there and a sprinkle on them to get it done in the division. Let's talk some baseball. We'll come back. A numbers game on FISA, the sports betting network. It's coming through not our Steve Cohen did other Steve Cohen. Yeah, yes, we were the highest paid hedge fund manager in 2025, earning $3.4 billion.
Oh, you confused me again. You're talking about it. Even another Steve Cohen. Yes, we have another Steve Cohen who likes to tweet into the show. Oh, no. Yeah, the the Metz owner Steve Cohen. Yeah, Steve Cohen. So, so again, when he said the Dodgers like to spend money, I, I can too. He made $3.4 billion last year. He can, but will he? Yeah, so well, he has the means. He has the means. Yes, will he invested in the team? We don't know, but he has the means. They are there confirmed. Yes, they exist. So we're, uh, we're there on that one. I mean, I just look, I just, these dudes, don't wonder you buy a sports team because you have so much money. It's got to be self, so much money that like you can buy anything on the face of the planet, but like there are only 30 baseball teams. So you're one of, you're one of 30. What is the prize jewel on the shelf? Like there are a hundred yachts or a thousand yachts or however many there are and a million mansions and all of some of that. There are 30 baseball teams. There are 32 football teams. That's it.
This is a billion's quote. I'm pretty sure it's a billion's quote. I'm about to say I was trying to find it, but the the equivalent of owning an NFL team. That is, that is American royalty. That is the, that is the royal family of America if you own an NFL property. Yeah. It's just, it's like, I, I get it though. It's just kind of, because what else are you going to do with the money? It's amazing. I don't know. We all love playing fantasy football. What if you own the tea? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a real. It's like, what do you, what else are you going to do with the money? Man, I don't, I don't, like with people, I would be dangerous. Oh, yeah. I mean, I've been saying this for like 15, 20 years. I'd be buying ping pong teams. I'd be buying. I'd start that curling league. I just don't my own. Like, I would just be out there. I'm like, oh, you want a curling league? That's fine. Here's the money. Let's go. I still always like, yeah, I do things differently. But whenever anybody wants to trash Jerry Jones, I'm like, dude, I can't say I wouldn't make wildly same decisions if I own the football team. I would think I know better than all you guys too. Like I would do whatever the hell I wanted. And you can say whatever you want to say. Yeah. Talk trash about me. All you want to, I have a
football team or I have a baseball team. Yeah. Yeah. I don't really care what you're saying. Yeah, doesn't care. Okay. So we, we talked about pictures a couple days ago here on the, on the program. You guys are going to be doing your fantasy baseball drafts here pretty soon. Talk about some guys I like, some guys I'm going to fade. Same deal here with some hitters. I think there are some guys that you can get later on in the draft. We're talking like way deep in the, you know, it rounds 15 to 25 type deal that could provide some pretty decent upside for you. First and foremost, they got like Addison Barger for the blue jays. He is a big, big beneficiary, basically of them not resigning boba shit because he think it opens up. I think it opens up every day playing time for him because he's also a multi position eligible for you. If people understand that, if you play a bunch of fantasy baseball, so you can play in the outfield or play him in the infield. How many, how many key guys do we have like that this year? There are, you know, there are a handful, but every leak. So here's the deal. It's also league dependent because it's like, how many starts does your league make it to where a guy has to play X to be eligible for X and Y to play
eligible for Y and all of that? Like some leagues, it's, he only has to make five starts at third base and then he's third base eligible. But some leagues, it's 25 star, you know, whatever, 20 starts or something. So it depends on how serious your league is to try to either limit or produce multi position eligibility, but he's a guy that's going to enter for sure because he played the requisite amount in the outfield and third base last year, no matter what, I think he's going to hit fairly in a fairly good spot in that jays lineup as well. And so if you kind of look at his, this is why you read the baseball guide. And if you look at like the stat cast bat bat at ball profile for him, like, it's ball pretty hard. And like, I think that there is a chance with every day at bats in that lineup, playing in that ballpark and all of that that we could, we could have a dude that again, late round, where's where you're getting him anyway? You're getting him kind of those middle of the late rounds that could, that could really outperform where you're, where you're getting him. Have you even heard of Dalen Lyle? Absolutely not. Did you know, did you know he was a real person? No, no, no, not at all. So he's a rookie last year. Are you kidding me? I just learned so much about Addison Barser. Like I knew about him, but like,
yeah, I just learned that. So place from the nationals, Lyle, place from the nationals, rookie last year came up, had a, you know, about 90 games in the majors, nearly hit 300, nearly had a 350 OBP for that. And honestly, the thing that I like about him, and especially where you're getting him, which is like in the 200s range, is I think that there is real power speed upside here. Okay. With this dude, he stole in those 90 games where he was up last year, he hit nine homers and stole eight bases. Well, I mean, again, we know, do the math real quick. If you almost double that to what a major league season is or something, you're probably getting close to a 20 homer guy and close to a 20 stolen base guy that's going to hit, you know, 30, 40 doubles, something like that in a handful of triples as well with that speed that he has. And again, if you're getting him way down there, and you kind of get that type of upside, the 15 to 20 home run, the 20 to 25 stolen bases, and also that's a very productive dude getting him at that position in a, in a draft. What do I, I do want to jump in your Danny wrote down a great question,
I think is this applies to every fantasy, every fantasy league that you're going to play in in any sport, but just the positions that are most shallow this year that people need to address off the top. Third base to me seems pretty shallow. Like third base is just not a good, in my opinion, I just don't think third base is a very good opinion. I would be looking to kind of fill that a little bit quicker than then I would almost any of the other positions out there. It's just there's not a lot of guys that are in honestly, he's getting even more shallow. Like is it the answer of you, you fill it early or you're just you're waiting way lower or you're just or you're going to throw you either fill it early with a good guy or then you just throw three darts basically at the end, you know, and like hope that one of his, it's got even more shallow. Jordan Westberg is now dealing with an oblique injury for the Orioles and so like he's a dude that was fairly up there that people were kind of looking forward to drafting this year. I don't like oblique injuries with hitters like those stick around like for for a while. As does another injury, we'll talk about when we get to the fades here in just a second. Jack Caglione is a guy that came up
last year was just absolutely, I mean just absolutely on fire in the minors. He only played in 28 games in the minors before getting called up. He had 11 homers in those 28 games down in the minors. And he came up and now look, everybody in their mother had a rookie in the year bed on him. It's going to say and everyone in look a lot of these dudes struggle making the jump to the majors. These pictures are just that much better than they are everywhere else, right? And so like, but now knowing that he's going to be in the lineup, knowing where he's going to hit middle of that lineup for this Royal team. Oh, by the way, this is something that should have mentioned in all of these previews and stuff that we're doing. Kansas City moving their fences in this year. So it is all what it has been a pitchers park like primarily, but centerfield stay in the same, but they're moving in the the alleys in the corners because that basically the way that they explained it, they ran the analytics and with this current lineup that they have, which has some pretty good guy. I mean, we mentioned Pascontino with Caglione like they've got some dudes that can actually hit for power now. They actually think it's worth two wins to them. So like moving in these fences is
actually like they literally throwing through the analytics. They think it's worth two wins. Is there a I don't want to slow your your role here, but the the why why don't teams teams can just do this? Why wouldn't you do this every year then to fit your whatever your lineup is? Well, yeah, I don't I mean, I'm I imagine it's very expensive. Who cares? Three point one doing it out. Yeah, to move to move walls. I'm assuming it's making expensive make weaker walls than he's going to move. I don't have been doing this every year to create around my lineup for sure. That makes a lot of sense. Yeah. So again, another another another guy that I think is going a little bit too late that could have a pretty good upside season. Caleb Durbin is a guy that the Red Sox traded for. He's going way late in the 200s. I've seen him goes latest three like in the three early 300s, but I think that we're looking at a guy, especially in this range. If you have a guy who's upside could be like 15 homers, but like 25 30 stolen bases. Right. And also score you 70 runs and get you 70 RBI and all the different stuff like that. I mean, like this is a kind of a late round
dude that I think is just way, way, way undervalued. So like him a lot there as well. Now on the flip side of dudes that I'm fading, this has nothing to do with these guys skill sets and everything to do with something that is lingering about them. One Cal Raleigh is just going very high in drafts. I mean, like as early as like very, very early second round to like mid to late second round, it's just kind of like we said, he went from 34 to 60 home runs. Like I'm not saying he's going all the way back to 34, but now, but if he goes back to 40, 45, then the price is just too high because he kills you in so many other aspects. I mean, like he hits for low average, you know, he would are like unless you're in an OPP league, then that's that's going to kill you. Like he just doesn't get a base of time. Jackson holiday has his handmade injury that like we have seen multiple cases, by the way, you're on Alvarez very recently. This this handmade injuries tend to just linger like this. It's a it's a bone on your hand, right? Like right at the bottom. Yeah, like we roll, they just tend to linger. I'm not every time you hit a ball. I'm not willing to roll the dice
like on on Jackson holiday. And I like the talent, but again, just the injuries standpoint. And then Mookie bets are just going too high for me. It's going to be a 33. He hit for less power last year. He's running less like I think that there is just we're starting to kind of see just the decline of Mookie, the natural decline of dudes that start to get into their mid 30s, right? And he's just a great golfer. I didn't see that. He's just going to he's just going to high and drass for me. He's going like in the 40s, you know, and I think that that's just a little bit too high for what we're probably going to get out of him as he just continues to age. I guess biggest surprise for me was just the what those average like the ADP for Kaguyo and Durban were that still that low. Do you think there's some value? Okay. Might could be some steam coming on them though. So we won't try to do that. We got to get your NBA thoughts here on this slate and then we get to all the bets that we added as well. Put a bow on this one when we come back here on the Friday.
A numbers game on Fisent, these sports betting network. It is a numbers game here on Vs. These sports betting network and oh boy, we are dialed in to non USA Olympic hockey. Did you just see the what happened last? Oh no. Yeah. Tie. Tie game. Oh boy. Did that happen right as we were coming on? Yeah, right as we were coming on. Yeah, that's why I was like, I didn't know from that. No, because here's the thing. That light prevents me from seeing anything on the like there's nothing. That TV doesn't exist. Yeah, you're toast. You're toast to fuel. Oh boy. So two to two then. Two to two. Well, we know what that means. That means we should be unloading on Canada. We didn't we didn't do that the other day, but they're going to be like minus 200. Hold on. It's going to be it's going to be too bad. It's going to be too bad. Minus 230. Yeah. Yeah. Go Finland. Yeah. Come on, Finland. Finish them.
We were guessing y'all weren't going to shoot 20% for the game. They're not shooting 20%. Not shooting 20% of the game, but two to two. We're still in it. We're still alive. I mean, these these apparently got to avoid this. Apparently got to avoid this whole three-on-three hockey like overtime thing though with the underdogs because it's like the favorites win in like 45 seconds. It's also like, uh, no, we're not the hockey people and stormy as the hockey 555. It's it's great. I love the three-on-three overtime. We've seen some exciting skillful goals. I'm all about it, man. I've I've floated this in the past. I've been shot down by hockey purists. They should even play half ice somehow. Over time, over time, if you want to play full teams five and five on five, the goals get six inches wider and six inches taller. Okay. All right. What do you think about that? I don't, I don't hate it. Right? I don't hate it because how many hit the post and don't go in? Now those are going in. Boom. More exciting game. I've got other ideas, but I probably shouldn't say them. Like, I kind of
like put like, let's put a bucket above like a two pointer or something. You know, flip it up, flip, flip the puck. No, because then you'd get like someone who was like a Steph Curry of doing that. And he's only on the team because he can. He's not even a real player. He looks like me and you out there. We just get out there. We don't have skates on like we're just wearing like just like because all we're trying to do is flick it in the thing. Just like with the duckle puck. Yeah. We're keen in the duckle puck. So very quick, very quick. Yeah. Golf update here. Aaron Rye out on the course. He's through six in his second round. He is one under. He is sitting atop the leaderboard with Matt Fitzpatrick, who is four under through six in his second round. He is six under yet to tee off Jacob Bridgman, Rory McElroy, Marco Pinge. They are all sitting five under. So just one stroke off the leading again. They have not started. So six stroke, six hole headstart for Rye and Fitzpatrick there. In that one, potgators making the turn at one under in his second round. Graserman is through seven at one under. He's sitting four under,
tie six with potgator. As is Sep Strocka, who is three under through to always that we have an eagle alert. Oh, yes. Yes. Strocka three under through three under through two. We're all Sep Strocka. Yeah. Matt, this is a maybe Sanders. The guy like I don't this is I'm trying to figure out what I feel like I should be jumping in live somewhere right now. I think he's a this is a very scourable golf course right now. What about our board? What about our board Piersson? Took me a second. Yeah. I mean, my model would say do that. I stayed away from him this week for some reason though. The Cudi did not rank very high for me because again, I put in a bunch of course history stuff. Right. Right. So that just that just pushed him way down the model. But I mean, obviously, I've bet him five times already. So Fitz, what like Fitz was somebody I love the it's great. We do a podcast today just so terribly sometimes. Right. And it was like the I went the chef the route. The other route I was going to go was like a decky Fitz Patrick and
Fleetwood. So that would have been nice right now. Fitz, I really liked those. So he's someone to keep my eye on. But I opening Eoglay for Xander. Five under T three. Keep keep thinking about it. Kelly, I'm not betting working out for you. Opening eagle. What's the next name I should say? Tweet it. What do you need to eagle hold up one? If I just say it, it will happen apparently. These conditions. Tom Kim's to under on his round and the tournament. So there we go. I mean, you know, it probably something with Rio, man. What's the Rio has been awesome the whole season. There's nothing to say. He's letting up anytime soon. Like he's too under for the tournament right now through five holes. Like he could have a big round. Certainly want to see one guy get cut though. It's hilarious. It's a projected cut still for so Russell Henley and King. Yeah. All right. Let's get to the NBA. Yeah. Get the bets in the account here. Real quick conversation. But that we didn't think we're going to have. But so Utah and Memphis are playing Memphis is a one and a half point favorite over Utah who has
told everybody exactly what their plans are and what they are trying to do. Yet Memphis is only a one and a half point favorite at home. I might add against Utah. I don't know what you're like Memphis is just as bad like it is, but it's kind of like can't Utah out suck them? You would think, but okay, Larry marketing questionable. It's just kind of funny. They already ruled out Kianta George. This is a ridiculous interview report. Adam Silver looked at this like last night and he was like, I'm issuing this whole thing right now. Uh, marketing questionable. You have Nirkich out already. Kianta George out. Jared Jackson Jr. obviously out for the season for them over on the Grizzly side. You know, who did just trade Jared Jackson Jr. away. No Scotty Pippin Jr. tonight. No tied Jerome tonight. No KCPU. They shut down for the year. No Cedric coward tonight. Like he's been the one guy that I would be like cool. Cedric coward is going to get some playing time down the stretch. I don't know. Both these teams are punting on the season. I will not be betting any jazz Grizzly game and I will not be betting a Pacer's Wizard's game at his tonight as well. So what do you have in the game? Let's go down
the board. Then if you're going to rotation or there the next one down would be the Cavaliers at the Hornets. I did jump into the calves last night. I laid four and a half on the open. This got out to like six and a half. It's coming back in. I think if you are interested in the calves could probably wait a little bit longer and get something under six. I do think there should be a little bit of Hornets respect and that showed up in the market this morning. Like this is both these teams on back-to-back. We talked about it at the beginning of the show. Cavaliers rolled through the nets last night. Didn't have to play their guys heavy minutes. Meanwhile, the Hornets were locked in a battle with Houston. That's the main handicap for me and how good this calves team has looked with harden it. They're playing guard alongside Donovan Mitchell now for the calves. Like them tonight, I think you could consider at six six and a half playing this team in a money line parlay as well. I just threw out a couple others that I think you could consider for those timber wolves tonight. They're hosting the Mavericks Cooper flag benched already for that game will not play. Lakers host the Clippers. Clippers on the second end of a back-to-back just having played the nuggets last night. I would wait on that one though to see if we do get a
quiet lender showing or not, which I think we do. I think we end up getting there. But just a couple of money lines to throw out there. The other one that I'm looking at betting tonight kind of missed a move on the numbered nuggets blazers over. This was 239 and a half. I should have pulled the trigger this morning. It's up to 241 and a half. I will wait now at this point, see fully what injury reports end up being. And then maybe pull some pull the trigger closer to game time. I will put that on visa.com if I do. Yeah, I played over 20 and a half points and rebounds for Evan Mobley. Yes, he's not asked to score as much now that harden is there. But I think that actually just equals more opportunity for him to rebound and first to get down there and get this done. This is like a this is a prop that I have played a lot because it's just they they always line him just kind of like a little bit below where I think he should be. And so like I'm going to play the over 20 and a half points in rebounds and not the assist just leave that off there. But there's just points and rebounds on Mobley less than his scoring is probably going to go down for the for this team with Harden in town. But I think that there is a decent chance
though that we're that we're getting more rebound. I don't know. I don't know about a score of going down. I mean, yes, like the points got to be divided up more sure from that standpoint. But Harden makes these bigs better man like from a scoring standpoint, seeing it would share it out. So it's it's kind of a two way bet, right? Which is one of it's either Harden's going to assist him a lot. So the scoring will just be fine or Harden's shooting and missing and whatever and then and then there's more rebound opportunities for for mobile. So kind of it's kind of a two way that only concern. I guess would be Mobley still coming back coming off the injury a little bit minutes might be restricted a little bit. But the fact that they didn't have to press anybody last night is kind of played into this as well. Yeah, kind of played into this into this handicap as well. I put in Kade Cunningham to an MVP. I put in Victor women Yama to win MVP. This comes off at the news that SGA will be reevaluated in a week. So we'll see what goes on with him there. And then entrepreneurs to lead Major League Baseball in saves. Look at Danny nailing it with the accent days back there. I don't know how he did that. All right, guys, laying the four and a half for me and the night in the NBA. That's it for me. Chris Felica on the show today. Man City to win the Premier League at plus 150 and Nick Kurtz to hit 50
plus home runs. Six to one. You're getting on that. Jonathan Davis did have a couple bets for the USA Slovakia game. Everything over at VC.com. You're like over 40 and a half shots on goals. I will do this over 40 and a half shots on goals. Slovakia over 22 and a half shots on goal. Can't can't a money line. Yeah, that's that one's not going to work. No. A bunch of anytime goal scorers, I will not accept this. I thought you said you were going to do it. You're you're off. Slavkovski. This will take the rest of the show. Yeah, we just got to move on. They're at VC.com. Yeah, VC.com. And then we had Matt Grissom College baseball bets today. I know he liked an LSU Florida state money line. Part of the way that makes Matt Brown Kelly Bidland happy. KELF Florida states up one nothing already. Too bad on that one. Can't a state money line even money? Baylor money line plus one 54 in Virginia Tech money line minus one 60 against Rutgers. Look at that. And just like that, we'll be following, of course, this golf as well. Any plays that I had, I'll be here on the weekend and Kelly will put on the Twitter machine. Yeah, nothing for second round for me. I usually wait until the weekend anyways. Now do it for me guys. Appreciate
you putting up with me for the last two weeks. I'll be back in here on Monday. Stick around prop points with Jeff Erickson, Nick Whalen. Then we were going to get money moves to stormy and JVT followed by followed the money. Good luck on all your bets.
