I know there's both the story of those idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with the L.I. Xander. He's gone. He said. Numbers game here on Beast Lee Sports Betty Network. Brown, Kelly Bidlin. As we roll on here, we were looking at some of the big board stuff, some of the NFL odds that are starting to hit the books out there. And guys, it seems like at that time of year that maybe you want to pop them open and scan them on a daily basis and just see if something gets added. We get the win totals added yesterday. We get the number two overall pick added yesterday. It seems like maybe we're starting to get where they're going. Okay. You know what? We feel comfortable putting this stuff out a little bit earlier. Specifically, you know, if we keep the limits in check and all that, don't scream at me on Twitter. I'm going to get $200. Okay. They used to not put these up until like two weeks before the draft. So I mean, then almost everything we've talked about today. You're talking about like, I mean, windows, only draft kings, right?
I haven't seen them anywhere else. Number two pick both MGM and Caesars, but only those two books. Yeah. And then coach of the year, I think the only place I've seen that is Caesars. So just, you know, before you, before you complain about how much you can get down, realize they're like, they used to not put these up. And some of the books don't have them up. I mean, this is the, we should, we should, we should embrace the fact that they're willing to put these things up as early as they do as opposed to just complain at every single turn. That's my, that's where I, that's where I sit on that Kelly building. I agree with you. Do I complain too much about things like this though? Yes, I do guilty of that just in general. Tom Hogi no longer at the top of the leaderboard. Captain Keegan to over through two. Yeah. It's not great. It's not the ideal strategy. Yeah, you've got what six tied it to. Oh, we Valmaki McCarty Hogi. Wow. Everybody. Everybody birdying one. And I look down and hovelin is one over. So, um, Napster gave one back. That's not good.
I mean, I had no interest. You had no interest in hovelin. Like nothing. I don't, yeah, to me, there was just no. Nothing. I was at it. Oh, perfectly fine. Waiting on two eighty five to the left. Rough two thirty one to the whole one ninety six to the right. Fairway thirty eight yards to the whole. Thirty five yards to the left. Green eleven feet out. Sitting late laying three. Put four put five put six. The old three putteroo there for the bogey. Ovelin. Yeah. Not good. Eleven foot eleven feet away. Then he was four foot seven away. And he missed the four foot sevener. To three putt for the most. That was the, um, stuff right now. I mean, it was really like off the tee has not been great for him. Right. Like that was the. Yeah, fine. Ovelin. He's. Yeah. I mean. He was so down my model. I am seriously. It was for me too. So, so far down my model.
Did not like him at all. Did not ever even consider him this week. Um, yeah, off the tee. Yeah. Yeah. He lost three strokes last week. Pebble Beach. Not using driver as much. But two two point four strokes lost even in waste management. And he, he top ten there. He was a D 10. I look, the islands have been good. And that might. I mean, it's always. Yeah. One of the better approach players in the world. This is an approach. Heavy course. Right. I don't. I go. I wouldn't be shocked. But he was not somewhat. I had. Remote. A short game that I'm not a fan of. Yeah. And that's coming to play here. That is, that is, uh, going to have to be hitting out of grass that they rarely play on. Doesn't. Doesn't really sit well with me.
That's what we're talking about. We're talking about. That's what we're talking about. And that's what we're talking about. Like in all of the breakdowns of every single team in major league. Baseball. We got a stats glossary in there. So you know what everybody's talking about. All summer long. And of course. The picks for what we think is going to happen in the MVP inside young. So right now, visa.com slash guide. To get that baseball. Betting guide. Kelly, you said maybe for you. The most important one that we do. Yeah. This is just a catch up. Yeah. College football for sure. We are sports that I keep up with. But people to know what. Listen to watch this show regularly. No, I'm not regularly betting them. But two. I mean, two of the more enjoyable sports. Just period to me. Yeah. Just don't bet him as much. So yeah. Oh, and especially. A bird gets a lot. A lot of praise. But I'll do it again. Adam Burke. One of the best in the business when it comes to breaking down baseball. And it's awesome. We've got Jensen alongside him. Now kind of given that player perspective. So yeah, I'm a must read guide this year. All right, Kelly Bidlin. We have a. We have an NBA segment here in what you're going to explain to everybody.
The 40 20 rule that we are talking about. Yeah. You've probably. Yeah. Man, maybe not probably. You've maybe heard this brought up before. But it's kind of just a way of when we get to this point in the season. How do you identify who are true contenders for the NBA title and who are not? And I think some people. A lot of people will be surprised by this. That that in besides four teams since the innovation of three point lines. So this goes back to 1970, 1979. Only four champions have won a title after accumulating 20 losses before reaching 40 wins. Okay. So reverse engineer that you need to hit 40 wins before you hit 20 losses for you to be a legit contender. Who does that apply to this year? If you want to know who those four teams are. 94 95 rockets. 0304 pistons 0506 heat in the 2021 Milwaukee bucks are the four outliers to this. Otherwise every other NBA champion has won 40 games before they've gotten to 20 losses.
So who does that apply to this year? Pistons are there for 40 and 13. Okay. Already good to go. They've won 40 games before they've lost 20 Oklahoma City Thunder 42 and 14. Check those are your only two that are there so far. Now you should expect the spurs to get there. They're 38 and 16. You would think they're going to hit 40 wins before they hit 20 losses, but they're not there yet. And then the Celtics are still alive too, but that's a little razor. They would have to go. They would have to go five and O to start the second half here because that would put them at 40 and 90. Everybody else has 20 losses. Everybody else has 20 losses. So Matt, I thought this was a good time with people to jump back in that the jumping back into the NBA season. We regularly look at championship pods. Is it really three teams? Is it four? How many teams are we really considering to win the NBA finals? Well, let's look at it this way. I know that you're a fan of the nuggets. We know that Nick Whalen. We had on early in the week as a fan of the nuggets. Yeah. There are several other fans of the fan of the nuggets here and they do not qualify.
So right off the bat, I would say that there's at least multiple opinions here at the network that. That this this 40 20 rule can go fly. But I look, I'm going to sit here and I'm going to still say that. I'll probably have a nuggets to win the NBA finals. But at some point I can sit here and I can tell you why I can say, hey, Nicole Yokech missed a lot of time. They've had injuries all season long. There's a reason why part of the reason why they've gotten to 20 losses before they got to 40 wins. I think everybody out there would say that's a reasonable explanation. But still the four times four times in the last 20 46 years. Have we see that we see the team that's done this hit two losses before 40 wins. It would have been a championship. So it's just someone want to bring up. I think it's interesting to track the biggest thing for this. Right is for the all the ya butts with the pistons that I keep saying that we keep hearing. Right. It's their records. Great. I don't know if I really believe in a long term. Right.
That seems to be the consensus out there with the Detroit pistons. And it's just the this might be the pump your brakes a little bit on the on the pistons and kind of some love that you're seeing around the around the rest of the Eastern conference. Can we let's play let's deconstruct this maybe play devil's advocate on this. Maybe a little different this year to as the can as the NBA continues to move more and more towards a load management strategy. To where that this could start to fade even more this whole 40 20 thing because I think it's a fair point teams are more apt to sit there. Stars more yeah more often and with that or at least play them a little more limited minutes and things like that. And obviously that will that could affect your early on win total. I think great pushback great pushback. But it's not like we've seen a pickup right in recent years of times to go against this world. You've really only got that bucks team. The other thing you know the other thing that goes along with this. What about teams that have 40 losses before 20 wins. What is there set out there for that.
Yeah. None of everyone. Oh, in lifetime. All right. The other one that I don't know if people realize it's I believe it's three seed that we've never had an NBA champion that's been worse than a three seed. Either you know coming out of either conference. So something else to keep in mind. Just kind of as you're looking at some of this because you are going to hear a lot of love and I think it's rightfully so look there's four teams. If not more in the Eastern conference that are that are getting talked about a lot, right. Piston Celtics. Nick's cast. I think we for I think in the two weeks that you've been on the show we've heard someone back every single one of those teams. No, for sure. When the Eastern conference. So you got four. And you're I mean other people will still bring up the 76ers. I think it's fair to bring up still how good the Charlotte Hornets have been in the past in the recent. I was going to say I mean I think the sixers probably. Starting today would have been getting a lot more love had we didn't if we didn't you know. Go to bed last night with the news that in B's not going to play and it's now it's another injury. It's a shin thing impossible to ignore. And in whatever and it's like you know in norm normally when we got something about like a sore shin we do okay no big deal.
But it's in B didn't like that. It's it's unfortunate that that is the very first thing that comes to my brain and your brain and anyone's followed the NBA which is like oh this. Any any injury with him could be two weeks. Yeah. I mean like any injury with him could be two weeks for all we know. We could see him play two more games. I wouldn't be shocked. Yeah. There's there's no. Yeah. I don't know what you can't have expectations on when you're going to see Joel and beat. Yeah. I'm getting down to this though. It's just really who are the true title contenders. I think you're talking that in the Eastern conference. If you really 76ers like you said you wake up today. Yeah. I feel different about them. Definitely do. Hornets. It's been. It's been great to watch. I really do think offensively they could keep this up. What they've been doing that defense. I think it's impossible to expect a Hornets defense to keep up the level of play that they've played over the past couple months. So I don't know that they're really going to be there at the end of the day in the Eastern conference. However, I don't know if there's a single team. I don't want to go up against less right now than Charlie.
And it gets fair to say in the West. Thunder nuggets for me. Spurs cannot be ignored. I don't know how much further beyond that. I'm going back. I think a lot of people would include the Temples and the Rockets. I don't know that I'm there either one. Ooh. You might be one of the few dissenters on the Rockets. I think everybody wants to believe that they can get it done. When we come back, Joe, she and the Joe, she and baseball news letter on. Yeah. Major baseball. You're here because you want an edge. The numbers game on the visa. These sports betting network. Number game here on these sports betting network. Kelly a couple of a couple of flickers of the of the odds board over here as a little bit of support for the nuggets this evening coming out. These four and a half's turning into fives. The four and a half's that were out there getting juiced now. So somebody coming in. I don't know if we missed any news. I don't think we did on anybody for the clippers. But somebody likes dimper tonight. Yeah. I'm not going to be running to back the flippers. But man, I already thought that number was a little steep on the nugget side. Five. Well, we're you're you're going to get five because it seems like it's moving to five everywhere. I don't know if you get anything better than that. It looks like you you could get five if you want it. What do you think on Nikola Yokech? We've we've some of the condition. There's been conditioning question. Look, there's always conditioning questions with Yokech. But as we talked about what yesterday the day before, like anything the guy made you.
You maybe have come back a little early. Might not be in full basketball shape. Does a break help that or hurt that? No, I don't know. I really don't know how to answer that. Is he just like sitting around like two hand and pizzas or whatever or stuff? Or is he like, is he like, all right, good. I've got time to hit cardio and stuff big time. Yeah, sure. I'm guessing. Yeah. My guess is he's definitely what he was thinking in the offseason and not just chugging cases of beer at a time or something. Yeah. No, that's. I don't know. Maybe Joe hasn't opinion on that. What do you do? Joshi is going to join the Joshi and baseball newsletter at Joshi and dot com. How are you doing, buddy? Good fellows. Hey, we got baseball games tomorrow. So I'm in my I'm in my glory here. Oh, I absolutely love it. I want to start things off here with some macro stuff. Because since we talked to you last week. Some injury news has come through on several different players. Obviously hitting the braves pretty hard in that starting rotation. The twins as well. How impactful is the news that we've heard just here over the last seven days? Considerably because it's too late in the year, too late the offseason to replace starting
pitching. So when you're talking about a Spencer Schwellenbach, who's really a number two caliber starter, but they were projecting to come back and have a full season. You can't replace those kind of innings. Hurston Waldrip also injured for the braves. I mean, we saw this with them last year. I mean, they were actually a team. I was looking at guys and we're going to talk about them in a second. Pablo Lopez is just not somebody you can replace. And you're talking about 28, 29 stars, 180 innings of that high quality pitching. They have, you know, a guy like Debbie Matthews. I thought what step forward and join that rotation and give them a pretty deep five-man group. You just can't replace the Lopez. So, you know, you really got to pay attention every day now. Looking for opportunity. You know, you're going to be able to do that. You're going to be able to do that. You're going to be able to do that. You're going to be able to do that. You're going to be able to do that. You really got to pay attention every day now. Looking for opportunity. Sometimes these injuries hit and you can get a bet in before the market actually moves. But every day it seems we've had these big injury stories. Yeah, Joe, let's start there. I know we're going to dive into American League here with you here today. And with some of the bets that you kind of like out there for futures. Let's start right there with the twins. How do you view this now? I know you published some bets that you had made on them.
How would you adjust maybe change those or not play those now? I would be off them. And I did like the twins that I believe the time they were like six to one to get to when the ails central. This is a division, guys, where nobody really stands out. The Tigers made the big move for Framber Valdez. But I have some questions about their offense. The Guardians just aren't trying. I don't really love what the royals have done. I thought there was an opportunity for the twins with that deep staff. Ryan Lopez, Bailey Ober. Is there any Matthews taking a step forward? Simeon Woods Richardson. They got some young hitters coming through last year. We saw Luke Keshe last year. We're going to see Emmanuel Rodriguez this year. I really like their upside. Take Lopez out of the equation. They really fall well behind the Tigers for me. And probably behind the royals as well. So I think they both the odds for them to win the division and the odds for them to make the playoffs have gone up now. And I would consider them a no bet. Joe, whenever we heard the news that they wanted to move, and I guess are going to move Mike Trout back to center there in Los Angeles as a guy. As we know, extensive injury history, unfortunate, derailed, what could have been one of the great careers in all,
a major league baseball. And he's come out with some weird stuff. A saying some weird stuff. And then he's actually talked to people that says it's less on your legs out in center than it isn't right, which I couldn't really, really process. And in all of that, I mean, what kind of, we know the angels are not going to be very good. But with Trout himself, I mean, are we, are we looking at another like 80 game season again with this, with this move back out there? Do you expect them to just be in DH slot half the time anyway? One of the things about Trout is that he, it's never been one thing for him. He had a thumb injury one year. It was a calf another year. It's not okay. He's got a back that keeps acting on bottom or something. It's definitely different things each year. I've heard the same argument, guys. And basically you don't run into walls as much in center field. We kind of can move it all directions. And centerfielders will tell you they'd rather play center than on the corners. The thing is though, if you look at recent baseball history, centerfielders become a young man's game. Of the last three, four years, the only guys, 34 and up who play center are the really good defensive ones. Michael Taylor, Kevin Kiermeyer, Kevin Polar,
really centerfielders move to a corner. Once you get to about 31 or 32, there's just not a lot of precedent recently for 34-year-old playing centerfield for a full season. And Prout has not been a top-end centerfielder for four years now. So he wants to play there. If you're the angels, maybe you just let him play there and listen to this way. It's not like he's blocking anybody useful. They've got a glove guy, Bryce D. Adosio, who would probably take the bats otherwise, maybe would be Joe Adel. But maybe you just do it to playcate him because it's Mike Trapp. But I would not expect him to play 12-digiting centerfield. Joe, switching over to Houston Astros, I see this on your list here. I find this one interesting, because I feel like I've heard a lot of pro Houston love. And I've heard some people kind of anti-astros this year as well so far this off season. How are you tacking this team? And how do you think they end up doing this year? Well, you know, we talked last week. I start not with last year's record so much as I do with third-order record, which you can find and click to have report.com. He's one of the guys he used to work with in baseball perspective.
He's one of the smartest baseball guys I know. And if you look at their numbers last year, they were actually a true talent, 81 and 81 team. So you're starting with them as a baseline of a 500 team. What's a 500 team that's lost a framer belt does? They've backfailed with Totsuya, M.I. Kind out of a play in the KBO for a bit, Ryan Weiss. They think they can actually build out the rotation and replace Valdez. But you've still got a situation where the outfield is pretty bad. You're not on Alvarez. Yes, hopefully you've got a full season out of him. But hoping that you're not on Alvarez stays healthy for a full season. It hasn't really been a great play of late either. So I look at the Astros as a team that's going to allow more runs. We don't know what they're going to get a Josh Hader at the back of that bullpen. And that offense is either flawed. Guys, I can't Smith. They can't really fit all their infielders on the roster and they have a bad outfield. It's just a bad roster. So I would be shocked if they hit there. I think there's 86 and a half as their number. I'd be shocked if they hit that. And my best bet for the season, my best future bet is the Astros to miss the playoffs and plus money. Oh, yeah. I'm down on the Astros as well. I'm glad to know that we are of the same mindset here
with this and talking to Joshi and the Joshi and Newsletter Joshi and dot com. Joe, whenever we look at some of these impact young guys, obviously we knew schemes was going to come up and make a difference. It was like that. He probably could have just broke camp with them. They gave him the ramp up there down in the minors. Who do you have your eye on that might not break camp with the team, but we'll be up within two, three weeks, something like that. And actually be a difference maker. Maybe a longer time frame, but I'm looking at this A's team, which starts the year with last year's one, two, and the record year race in Nick Hertz and Jacob Wilson. Really good offense. Not a lot of pitching. They're kind of faking the stats. You know, at least Severino up front. Some fourth and fifth starters at the back end. But as we get into the season, they have some pitching on the way. Can they engage jump? Who's going to start the year? Probably a triple A, each double A last year. Couple of Braden net, who was acquired in the Ace of Miller deal, and way in way Lynn Ian, who is actually also an able pitcher. I think by the second half guys, these young pitchers for the A's
could be making the rotation, both to that team in the second half. When I'm looking at these futures, I'm not just looking at the roster as we come out of March. I'm looking at what it might look like in July and August. I think the A's have the ability to upgrade their pitching staff internally to go with that great young offense. Joe, let's talk about, I want to talk to you about three of the very hot names that are kind of getting talk right now. I don't know if you're buying or selling, Bubba Chandler, Chase Burns, and then Ian Seymour. What do you think about those three guys that are all getting a lot of love here as we're even way out in February? Oh, I love Chase Burns. I mean, I looked at him last year when the Reds went into that series with the Dodgers. Somebody who might have ended up being a weapon out of the bullpen for them. He's healthy again. He's going to be in that rotation. And as much as I love Hunter Green, I'm not sure Burns isn't the best pitcher in that rotation. You go with an Andrew Abbott, Nick Lidolo. All of the upside B8 Reds have this year is going to be in that rotation with Burns possibly stepping up and being a true number two degree. So I love him this year.
Certainly above the other two. I think Burns is... There are a lot of guys in this NL rookie of the year race. We'll have to see who starts the year on the roster. But I think Burns starts the year as my favorite for NL rookie of the year. What is the one team if we're targeting that you think is going to be the absolute biggest disappointment of the teams that are expected to maybe even win their division? I think there's a mixed bag on who people like in that NL East. But I'm very down on both the Phillies and the Braves. The Phillies for age-related reasons. They're just incredibly old roster. They're trying to integrate some young players this year. But the core Turner, Schwarber, and Bryce Harper are all 33 years old. So I really have doubts about them. And then the Braves. You know, I was down on them already. And now we're talking about Schwalembock being out. We're talking about Waldrup being out. I don't know if they're going to be able to score enough for unsidered. So I think those two NL East teams are going to be disappointing, which opens the door for the Mets. He is Joshi and the Joshi and baseball news ought to go in and subscribe right now.
Joshi and dot com and at Joe underscore. She and over on the Twitter machine. Appreciate the time as always. Cannot wait to continue to talk baseball with you. Thanks fellas. Well, Kelly Bidlin. The rain is starting to fall over there right now. And so with that, it rev things could get interesting. That's going to soften things up in the fairways. You're going to need to hit a little bit longer. You're not going to get that roll out. Yeah, we'll see how these guys play more. Colleges had an eagle chance. Missed that. So for birdie on one. It's talking interesting division to me because I like the team that. I think everyone thinks it's supposed to finish last. NFC East will come out. Numbers game on the feed sense. These sports betting network. Sammy Valamaki. Rico. Hoey Tom. Hoey Pearson. Coody. Oxey. Betia. And Jacob Bridgeman. All sitting at two under currently right now. The rain has begun to fall.
All right. So let's me know we're about to get rain on. We're going to be rained on here. What about four hours? Five hours. Got a little snow. Let's just. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The snow was just. We were talking about during the break. It was snowing downtown Las Vegas yesterday. And I left here. Oh, yeah. I mean, like the sort of snow. You know, the snow that melts by the time it hits the ground. The miniature flurries. Is what yours? Yeah. The sleet. I don't know my bad weather language. It was the all I know is it was more than it was more than rain that was hitting my windshield when I was pulling out of the garage mall. Yeah. It was. I think I got a little bit over in my place. I think we got a little bit. everybody is birdying one basically. So everyone's birdying. Rory birdies one, Tommy birdies one, or Cala birdies one, Ludwig birdies one, Burns birdies one. Like everyone is attacking one. So I'm pretty sure we're going to get the statistics and one is going to be playing way underpar.
Yeah. Way, way, way underpar. There's uh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oxey. Oxey is a little scary, man. What an event last week. Some of these guy get impressive. I mean, it's very early. Impressive, though, from Bridgman and Oxey after what happened last week. I will say this. Maybe the the teeth of the course starting to come in maybe a little bit more now to that the weather is going south. So whole one has played 0.56 underpar early. Okay. Whole three has played 0.18 underpar and every other hole has played overpar. So far. Okay. All right. All right. So there we have it, which is seems like this course. Maybe the teeth shows up just after you get out of those first few holes because we are talking 5, 6, 7, and 8 all playing overpar right now. What are you grinning about? I'm sorry. I was going to try to read some tweets that people
sent in, but I haven't pulled. I haven't opened up 200 notifications in a while and realized that it was getting flooded by Dave Ross tweets. Oh, is that what it was? Yeah, that's what it is. Okay. Bobby get these tweets in, though. Kelly, how many times do I have to tell you? You can't trust the six or so. Okay. I've never actually told you before, but I've thought it many times. Same thing every year. I feel so bad for the 76ers fans. I hope I hope they didn't do what I did. We're, we're doing it. I did get I did get a little excited about Joel and be eating out good. He looked. I'm sure they did too. Just brutal. It's brutal over here. Well, here's the thing is when he is playing and playing well, he's so good. It's it's MVP caliber. It's it is just so good. You watching you just go, God, we got robbed of this dude with all these injuries because he is so, so, so good. It's awesome. But that doesn't change the fact that we basically have gotten almost none of him. Yep. We almost none of it.
So at the end of the day, how good really is if we've only gotten like 50% of what we could have gotten from him? Yeah. Well, and that's it leads into the, I mean, it's not the same thing, right? But it's why we're having the Darren Peterson conversation. Part of the reason, right? It's, it's the availability, man, and he can't, like you can't just, if I'm especially around with max contracts, right? Like as good as you LNB, it is. It's really hard to just find max contract for a player that plays this little as he does. Well, let Kelly think about this one and maybe we'll come back from the right DJ James asks, he wants to put in a lottery ticket in the NBA tonight. Can you give him just some, like a lottery, a lottery ticket pick? So like, you know, three, four team parlay, something like that. But we'll let you, we'll let you do our minimal. That's all he's asking for. I don't have any like guideline. It doesn't have to include a team or anything like that. He says, like, is he going to hate me if it's all under this? No, he said, can't whether to decide to attack unders or overs. He says, maybe first quarter unders. What do you think? So we'll let you noodle on it. We'll come back and like make him a,
an absurd party. You are catching me at the right time for this stuff because I never make absurd parlay, but like, I've included, I've included USA USA hockey in multiple. So I've got, I worked at it. I worked at it. Well, I mean, he did say NBA. He wants NBA. Just NBA. Okay. You got it. Yeah. We'll get, we'll get a figure down. Okay. So NFC East, a very interesting division to me because I think that this one is one where we are going to get opinions literally for every single team. Yeah, agree. To win this division. I have already seen cases for the commanders, which I was like, wow, I did not expect to get cases for the commanders. And we have already seen cases for the commanders. I've seen cases for the Eagles, the Cowboys, and of course, I'm one of the ones sitting here beating the drum for the Giants as well. And so we are looking at a division, which by the way, Lane Johnson did just come out and say this morning that he is going to come back for a 14th season for the Eagles, which is massive. Huge. Huge. Yeah. Absolutely massive for this Eagles team. Now, we know health is always a concern with Lane Johnson, but let's not, we have to just assume health. We can't assume injury. So if we assume
healthy, I mean, maybe the biggest new bigger, it's probably bigger news than them trading AJ Brown, because like they're going to have to get rid of AJ Brown as it is anyway, but like getting back your left tackle that literally when he is out on the field is unstoppable. Then yeah, I'm a, how do you think I do you think the AJ Brown stuff plays out? He's, he's getting moved. I am almost positive. He's getting moved for discount. I mean, you're not selling high right now in AJ Brown. It's kind of the problem. It's really reason I ask it, right? Like I would, I, it may I've got it. It seems like that ship has sailed. I think I think you're right to, he's been one of my favorite wide receivers for years now. I think he's a special, special town. I understand the problem that he hits in the locker room sometimes, but man, I would just, if you're Philadelphia, it would be so tough for me to trade him knowing he's worth way more than they're going to get in right there. Yeah, I just, I think that they're going to have to take, I won't say pennies on the dollar, but let's call it like Nichols on the dollar for him. Yeah, I think you're right too. And you just kind of got to move on and cut your losses because it doesn't, it seems like he
doesn't want to be there. You obviously have expressed your frustrations with him. And it seems like while it never really got out, if you're in the locker room and this guy is always a distraction, it's that you're a veteran dude, you, you're not, you don't love that. I think it's interesting, just starting that it's huge, it's huge news with Lane Johnson, right? And start with the Eagles, I was very curious to see what we were going to get pricey wise on Philadelphia this year. There was going to be, I just, I think it was one year, I think it was one year and a lot of, at least for a lot of media people, I think it overreaction. I think it was, I think this is a team that I expect to be back. It's hard for me. They're kind of like the New York Knicks. There's too much talent. There's too much talent on this team for them to, to not at least have a high floor. So I was very interesting. Like you said, I expected at in this division, we're going to hear arguments for every team. So I wanted to see where these division odds were going to be at, not that we're going to be a little bit longer, minus 110 on the Eagles to win this division. Yeah, that wasn't expected that. Yeah, no, I was going to get a plus price, and I was probably
going to be in on them. The giants are the interesting story here to me. I think Jackson Dard is legit. I think he's going to be good. Obviously, you have Malik neighbors. We know that he is good. You've got Lane Thomas over there on the, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, Andrew Thomas over there at left tackle. He is legit. So quarterback, playmaker, left tackle, really good building blocks for an offense, right? Yes, you need to fill in a couple of other spots on the offensive line. And you'd probably enjoy another playmaker on the offensive side opposite Malik neighbors. Yes, but you have an unbelievable defensive line. Okay, corners, maybe you upgrade one of those positions. Okay, safeties, maybe you upgrade one of those positions, but it's, it's, it's pretty clear kind of what you're, what you're doing heading into the offseason here for this giants team, because when, always the big question, quarterback, tackle, playmaker, well, you have those three already answered.
defensive line would certainly be next. They got that too. So going to get in the corner, going to get in another offensive lineman, going to get a safety, like these are all things you can do in the draft. I mean, yeah, these are all things you can do in the draft. Like you can pick up a decent safety and free agent. I mean, like, you know, those are guys that don't demand just the highest of high contracts and stuff. So like, I mean, I think there is a world that exists in which you look at this giant team and can they topple the Eagles? I mean, we are talking about a three win difference in, in their win totals here. I think they might could at least compete with them. I, I really do like this giant team, maybe even to be a wild card team. And that's probably how I'll end up maybe attacking this when that market pops up. So like that's, that's where I just go back to like, if that's the case, then I think we're talking about our bottom content, in content for coach of the year. You know, like so. Well, I mean, I guess I mean, a 10 and 7, we said it's the minimum, the minimum threshold is 10 wins. Yeah. So you're going to need to be 10 and 7 to get the wild card. It's a big leap. Schedule is relatively easy to. Yeah, it should be
AFC South, they get, yeah, I mean, I'm, they are by far the most intriguing team in this. I don't get the commander's love. That's the one I don't get. Yeah, I think it's just a lot of what are we going to see with healthy Jaden Daniels in this office? Because it defense was atrocious. Yeah, and like, it's like, there's nothing, there's no redeeming quality about that defense at all. You can't, it wasn't a good defensive line. It was a horrible court. Like the corners were terrible. The safety's are bad. They don't have a good line. I mean, like, there's no redeeming quality. So like, you have to flip a whole defense. And then you still have a little and you still have some holes on the office. Yeah. And honestly, I think you could say flip whole defense, right? Cowboys kind of are thinking that same way, right? Like, I want to be high on the cowboys. Was last year with the kind of betting on the over points propped in you bet that as well. Yeah, right. Like, I think that was a way to go. I don't know if they're much different team this year. No, at least you have the offense kind of figured out. Yo, no, you do for sure. At least you got the offense kind of figured out what a bow on this one would come back and including that Hail Mary Parley. It was a number good here on BC and the sports betting network. Matt Brown in four,
Gill Kelly Bidley in the long side here on the desk, a fantastic run down of guests today as we were able to go over baseball with Joe Sheen. We were able to go over the NBA was at Cohen. We got some hockey out of Stormi Bonnetoni as well. We'll have those plays all coming up for you here momentarily. We look over here at the leaderboard at the Genesis that is rocking and rolling and picking up right where he left off. Oxe Betia three under through four holes over there at the Riviera Country Club. So if you know, physical reaction out of me last segment, it was, uh, yeah, Betia nailing like, I don't know, a 60 foot putter or something. I was wondering how he would bounce back from what was not necessarily a collapse. It was just more of a stall. He couldn't get anything going like it. Well, he didn't, he didn't go make a bunch of bogeys. He just wouldn't make any birdies. Yeah. He's couldn't make any birdies. And so he was kind of stuck in the mud was wondering how he was going to respond. Actually comes out firing here. Again, the weather is a little bit of a concern.
Now we do see the umbrellas coming out over there at Riv. But Sammy Falamaki is 200. But he's, he's the, he was one of the first ones out on the course. So he's through nine already. He's making the turn. Tom Hogi's two under. He's through seven. So he's playing eight right now. Peterson Coody two under through six. Colin Morick. How a two under through two are winner from last week has gone birdie birdie to start here. So very interesting to see how Colin more cow are responds to that first win in 28 months. I do have a top 10 on him. So hopefully you respond as well. That would be, that's right. You did. Yes. I went against him in a match up. So that's not good. Yeah. Here's, here's the opposite. So good start for you. One of the other things I noticed last last break was the Deke Matsuyama, who's won over who I bet this week. Never good, especially in Southern California, when they take the shot of like seven people looking for your ball that looks like in like what looks like a cornfield in Nebraska. And you're like, you're an L.A. Where did you hit this ball to? Yeah. It was, you know, sometimes when the last guy
off your card, there's a reason you left him off. And I make the last minute ad of Jake Napp, who three puts one. So doesn't get the birdie on one that everybody's birdieing. He does at least bounce back birdie birdie on three. Bogey on six, double on eight. He is one over. Oh, cool. For the day. So Jake Napp, there's a reason. It should have been a reason. I said I left him off. There was a reason I left him off. And I was going to get FOMO had he won. And then said, that's going to be a dead ticket from the get go. Yeah. That's no good. Well, we stood out for the first time. You could mark those first round leader tickets in hell. Yeah. Kick it definitely mark him in hell now. Yeah. Now you can officially mark him down. Keegan Bradley, having the worst go of it today. So far on the on the struggle bus there for him is he starts out. Well, it's a colorful card. If you like colorful cards, it is, uh, Keegan do that. Bogey, bogey, birdie, bogey, double for Keegan to start here. So he has four over to start his day over there.
Riviera came young who again, I just like I said, I'm off. I'm off of that two over three four. He goes, uh, he goes bogey, birdie, double to start out his, uh, to his day. So there's, you know, again, we said this course, showing its teeth. I'm looking at the stats right now, Kelly. So while people start out hot because the obviously whole one is a scoring hole and whole three has proven to be a scoring hole. There is not another hole on the course that is playing under par every other hole playing over par right now. Yeah, interested to see how that turns out rest of the day, right? If this, especially if conditions get worse or, or stay this bad, which you know, not really expecting to get too much better while these guys are playing. Interesting. I, you know, probably only going to get harder. Yeah. Is it right now? We're looking at like 50 degrees, which again, for California's cold. Yeah. Um, 12 mile an hour wins. And then it's, it is raining. We can see, let me like, we're watching it, right? Yeah, those wins, wins
were expected to pick up as we got later here in the round. So yeah, this could be, this could be tough. You've got, um, let's see, live odds right now, tournament winners. Got a shelf of plus 305, Rory, 10 to one more, a coward down to plus 1275, Fleetwood plus 1350 botia down to 19 to one. And then first round leader, Okshay, your favorite right now, plus 620, more, Cali plus 880, Sheffler plus 1050, Rory 60. If you're wondering, uh, Scotty and Zander go off at 1137 Pacific. So they are one of the last guys to, uh, to tee it up. We'll see what the conditions look like when they get going out there. But again, Kelly, if, if, if, and this something for us to just keep an eye on, right? Because we're still talking an hour and 45 minutes from now until they go. So maybe this wind and rain happens for these guys for the next hour and 45 minutes. And then it starts to lighten up. And if it starts to lighten up, that would be the time to pound Scotty Sheffler. Yeah. Because he's going to get a soft course
that is no longer raining and no longer has wind concerns. Again, I don't know how the weather's going to be. We'll keep an eye on all that. But these are just things we need to, we need to keep it top of mind if we're going to try to jump in live here. I mean, it's current, uh, forecast looks like it's going to go throughout throughout this entire first round. But weather can shift right exactly. So whether it's that, uh, you know, whether it's that or, you know, it gets so bad that there's the delay in play. It's a place to tell like the tell is is if the, if the, if the umbrellas go away, right? Like if it's like if it's raining so light that they don't really care in like, you know, that's kind of the tell. And so if you start to see the umbrellas go away, then that's when you know that that he's going to be getting, uh, better conditions out there. And our boy, Jacob Bridgman starts out Eagle doubles four back to even par for the day. So again, there's, there's, Bridgman's going to be, Bridgman's guy always models well and is just a ride. Yeah. That guy is just a ride. Let's get to some of these bets here. I came in today, obviously,
with all the golf stuff. But also I took the Warriors under, uh, season one total here, Kelly. Like we said, this is the, this news from Steph Curry not going tonight. And then you get Steve Kerr coming out and saying, yeah, I, uh, you know, he might need another MRI. He doesn't feel good. He knows his body better than anybody. Yada, yada, yada, all that stuff. Didn't sit well with me from a team that needs to win 15 of its final 27 games to get over their season win total. So I'm, uh, unfortunately, because obviously I love Steph and everything that he means for the game and all that. But I'm, I am, uh, I'm betting on the note here. So I took the under. Take that. I, I make a ton of sense. Hey, I would have been, I would have been leaning that way. Anyways, uh, when we were talking about this team, but yeah, now Steph out and just don't really know, yeah, I completely, completely back up that one. Uh, okay, for me tonight, NBA, we talked about these the past couple of days, calves to have the best, best record after the all star break plus 450 also did a little bit of calves to win that central division at 10 to one. And then game
plays for me tonight, Nick slaying four and a half Celtics that laid two and a half would play that one still like out to five. It makes you get a better number on, uh, right now pistons are getting better here. So I'm looking at a three and a half of draft games right now. So, uh, you can get a better number than me for sure. You want your lottery play now, mapper? Yeah, let's do it. Let's fire right now. This is going to be real fun. Okay. Uh, this isn't okay. So this is hopefully you're still listening DJ James. Yeah. This is an eight leger. Oh, all right. He asked for a lottery ticket. He wanted a lottery ticket. Yeah. I'm sure I'm going to find one or two dead. Uh, eight leger that pays out 78 to one. There we go. That is a lottery ticket. Rockets laying four and a half calves, bought down to four and a half, like four and a half. Nick's leg four and a half sold out to four and a half on the nicks, uh, under two 31 and a half and raptors bowls, bought raptors down to four and a half. Celtics lay in the five and a half. I'm doing a team total over on our land. Okay. And then I just got to player props. I stopped
after the first one. Zach mentioned it. Uh, I'm going to go Mitchell Robinson with eight plus rebounds. So in total eight eggs at 78 to one. Again, DJ James. Hopefully you are. You're listening to that and Kelly real quick. Go over malt all real quick again for anyone else out there. The one's a lottery ticket. Rockets minus four and a half Cavaliers minus four and a half. Yes, you're buying that one down. Nick's minus four and a half. I'm sold that one out to minus four and a three, uh, under two 31 and a half and raptors bowls raptors minus four and a half, bought that one down Celtics minus five and a half minus one, 12 and magic team total over 117 and a half and Mitchell Robinson eight plus rebounds. Absolutely. Love it. Guys, if you are not already a visa and pro subscriber, you can get in there for as low as 999. He had he had a part of money line parlay. We were looking at yeah, rockets. Nick's money line parlay for Zach like that. I'm on both those high. So already, I think that makes sense. Sixers money line against the hawks and Benedict Matheryn over 14 and a half points. Stormy is a trader and is and and and bet on Canada. Yes, there we go. Stormy is a trader and bet on Canada. Wibbid's hockey today. She's laying the one and a half on the puck line minus one 50 versus Canada. So she's she's pro USA in that one today. And then then she flips. Then hockey Canada win the gold medal plus one 14 Finland catching two and a half goals at minus one 40 against Canada. And then USA, Slovakia under six. And then we've got Joe she in some of his MLB futures red socks to win AL East A's to win AL West twins to win AL Central Astros to miss the playoffs A's to make the playoffs twins to make the playoffs. And there we have in total twins over 73 and a half Astros under under 86 and a half angels under 70 and a half. And we're good. Caleb Ellen squeezes
auctioneer available underneath underneath the time. Oh, wow. Good luck on all your bets.
