I'm going to join us a little bit later, our very own Stormy Vaughan Tony gonna join us a little bit later as well and Joshi and see if he's added anything to his portfolio at least it's he's certainly started to do that. He's certainly starting to dig in a little bit more as we've got people in camp or starting to get things trickle out there and majorly baseball see if he can maybe talk us into a bet or three Kelly Bidlin, but as we said yesterday you're over there on the east coast and if you're up early out here on the west coast, you still got about. 15 minutes until the first group tease off over there at Riviera, so we do have chances to get in bets at the Genesis if you did not watch long shots over on YouTube, what are you doing how dare you come on if you didn't download it and listen to it on your podcast on your commute while you're riding the bike at the gym tell these different places that you can do this walk in the dog.

Share it with everybody at the J exactly come on, but well we'll fill you in really, really quick here you did make a couple of ads I did make a couple of ads. All right, let's hit it. Yeah, what did you really really quick I want to put in the ads and then we can go back to the stuff that's already in the account I ended up this was the last person off the card for me and as I dug in a little bit further and then you start to hear some different things coming out of some practice rounds over there and some of the guys. Walking the grounds I end up adding Jake nap I ended up adding Jake nap first round leader and then I put in a Jake nap top five as well, so I don't again not necessarily that he's going to go out there and win this thing, but I think that there is the skill set that we're looking for here in this. Jake nap has provided not only most of that skill set, but also the consistency that I think I'm looking for here if I'm going to ride someone that isn't kind of the. Absolutely proven tried and true type of player you know where you can see the pattern of the other guys that I have in Zander Shuffle and Tommy Fleetwood and Adam Scott these are obviously guys that have been around a super long time long track record of success and you go into a course like this and you can go in and hopefully play well.

I think Jake naps really the only one that doesn't kind of have what those guys have that I was willing to pull the trigger on so that is actually. If you were in a if you're in a circle market I think it's still like 36 to one if you're in an MGM or Caesar's market I think the best of out there 33 to one but still a number I would play regardless. On him and again the firepower there to go score the distance that he has and I think that you know honestly. If we're talking peak performances we've seen with Jake nap I think that his I think that his ceiling could be to compete with with with these guys. I think so too I mean for what we've seen so far this could be a huge shake nap season that we're about to come up here right so I mean Matt I already bet him top 20 so I'm right there with you know outright bet for me on Jake nap. I did add him as first on leader too though so you and I are both on that here this morning I a little bit of strategy there look just checking whether we talked about this yesterday talked about it on the podcast a lot was going to be checking.

Backing on kind of what weather looked like today mentioned on the show yesterday that it looked like it was moving more towards affecting basically everybody throughout the round today and it looks like that's for the most part what we're going to get about 10 a.m. Pacific time it looks like when the winds do pick up for the for the most part. So really going to get started here in the next hour or so with these guys that T off early might have a slight advantage before the stuff really rolls in Jake nap one of the early t time so I'm hoping he can go out there. Score low score low on his first nine and battle through maybe that back nine be able to post a low number here so I do like him for first round leader right there with you. And if you're just talking about his season overall I mean it's it's T8 and eighth place by himself at the waste management T5 at the farmers and T11 it's Sony open so consistency. As far as that goes there's really been nobody better than that he starts the season he puts very well. Which you again it's a little bit of a noisy stat but like as we say often on the podcast there are bad putters he is not one of those he has been a pretty consistently good.

Putter you can see along the way like we say there is noise involved as he did lose at the you know at the at the st Jude right and he did lose at the trot swab last year but usually he's either kind of. Right at zero or he's gaining you know with the flat stick and so really really love that and on the approach game yeah comes and goes a little bit but certainly starting off this season has been very good with he's always going to gain off the T basically every time he lines it up you got a guy that's going to gain at least a half a stroke if not a full stroke off the T over the course of the tournament we find that very important here. In this one and so a lot of the skill set that I was looking for in the last guy off the card and I go I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to hate myself yeah I mean the one the push back on nap here is just that this is a sticky this is sticky course history the guys that have done well here I think it's third most predictive course on the PGA tour that we have he's never played here and that's you know that's that's all. We've got but he's what you see a late kid right so he's no late kid I would think he's gotten over to this course before I'm not really too concerned about that so yeah I went top 20 first round leader with him other first round bets that I made here with the weather possibly coming into play you do have this option and a few sports books out there I played a top five for the first round on Shane Lowry just if he's looking I think there's going to be rain there's going to be wind if this gets real ugly Shane Lowry one of those guys that I trust.

I trust one of the guys I trust the most in tough conditions was already a guy that I had a top 20 bet on so I'm going to go top five and then I did go Sheffield first round leader look if I'm betting him in the outright market he teased it up way late now could be right in the thick of the weather weather mat or like we've seen before if weather gets real bad sometimes there's a halt to play and then these guys come back on the course and you actually benefit from that coming back when once the winds have calmed down the course is still well. So I like chef for first round leader to 11 to one I thought that price was a little long that was at MGM most places were like nine to one on him so shop around if you're you're playing those but yeah so Scotty Jake nap outright first round leaders and then Shane Lowry a top five in the first round I am not one to do it but I'm mainly because we just don't don't have it here but if you are one to micro bet listening to Rory yesterday talk about hole number four hole number four is a 273

yard par three they it was this was already a super long par three is it was anyway and they added 40 yards to it yeah he said yesterday about he hated the change and thought it was for any you know if anything it would you would think it would benefit a guy like that right right but he said he hated the change and if you go in and you look at the stats and this is where I think maybe it fell through the cracks for me at least a little bit because we didn't play here last year when we were here last 16% of the field hit the grass green as it was anyway and this was when it was a 235 yard par three and so now we're adding 40 yards of this thing so if you're a micro better if you just went in and blindly bet will not hit the green on on four I think you're going to come out ahead on this so the reason is to not only because of the length but the green slopes front to back so you can't land it on the green because then it will just rock it off the back of the green so the strategy you would think we're going to go back to the green so you can't land it on the green because then it will just rock it off the back of the green so the strategy you would think

would be well you need to run it up there but as we talked about with these kakuya fairways and then the aprons are also kakuya you can't run the ball because it gets stuck in the in the grass so it's basically it isn't it's not impossible but it is a near impossible shot for most of these dudes here honestly I think it's a horrible change to because what that what that really does Kelly is it just even the playing field because everybody right is going to be just trying to figure out how to make part there's no one going to be going for it there's no way to go for it and so if you make these holes where there's literally no differentiator between the worst guy in the field and the best guy in the field because everyone is just going to try to make three then I that's a bad golf hole to me you know I agree the I almost never look at these markets so it is yeah like they have draftings as up round one and it's basically every matchup or every pairing that's out there for whole for shot distance from the pit on

whole for round one everybody's basically lined it over under 50 and a half feet yeah 50 and a half feet well man are these numbers like it if you're going under 50 and a half you're getting almost three to one I was going to say I would well then that let you know how much of you she have to lay to put play the inside like minus like minus 40 over 50 and a half feet like it's crazy the other one I'll bring up you're right we don't we never talk about this stuff I caught Pat Mayo talking about this as well the one I think he brings up that he likes to attack every year is the is the 10th the 10th hole that's drivable and it just kind of depends the use the same pin positions basically every year I would recommend go go check out what he had to say if you do get into the micro betting stuff because he was talking about how one day it's usually set up in a very attackable spot the other day it's not so you can kind of play burgey birdie bogey stuff day to day with that yeah so they do again we're going to be teen off here in about five minutes so you have a little bit of time to run in and throw in some bets Kelly Bidlin we were sitting here sweating hockey yesterday by the way hockey sharps high five on that buddy look at us getting those parles home as well the US and Canada both advance in overtime Canada did lose Sydney Crosby to injury in that game but their coach came out this morning Kelly and said

by no means is he ruled out and that they are taking this day to day so we are we may get Sydney Crosby he's a hockey player they're tough but didn't look like he was in very good shape there as he left that one but we we still have the collision course here of us can yes it's always fascinating because I would I was the Pittsburgh penguins I would have to I would have something to say about the situation call going like hey man I gold is cool and all but like you know you know it's cooler now like a Stanley Cup I don't know how that plays out like it's like like Crosby the Canadian team or they just like they're screening all of the penguins calls like no straight to voicemail straight this coaches could just kind of like no phone I don't know what's going on the rough connection will I will call you tomorrow yeah it's we don't we don't get cell service over here for this one so we'll we'll of course monitor that for you and watch stormy a little bit later to talk about the the women's gold medal match that is coming up that will be what right after we get off I believe something like that today yeah like right after we get off 10 10 Pacific 110 Eastern for all of that so we'll talk to somebody who you know

follows a hockey a little bit closer to you and I yeah she's pumped that being said right now we got we got one in action right now Sweden and Switzerland and that is one one tie live odds if you want to jump in Sweden minus 180 switch will be plus 143 and a half year live total second intermission I say first do I just retire as a hockey sharper do I throw another one in there I mean hey I'll convince you on the break we've got a boy we've got a bet for you massive night in college basketball last night some NBA news and of course we will get into all the NFL stuff that's come out we're just getting starting here on a numbers game you're here because you want an edge that's what separates listeners from winners but let's be real mindset alone doesn't get bets home pros win because they've got the tools the data and the discipline and now so can you be some programs you access to the same real time insights the sharps use no secrets no fluff just actionable info that moves markets tap the link and see why serious betters are turning knowledge into profit with Vs in pro

numbers game on Vs in the sports betting network numbers game here on Thursday Matt Brown Kelly Bidlin appreciate you guys being with us here on serious channel 150 80 tube TV that game plus we got our very own Vs and watch app and terrestrial stations across this great country of ours a huge night in college basketball and it's going to take we're going to try to get through all of this too we can do that was that it was a slate there's no doubt about it and this is kind of actually going back a couple of nights unfortunately Texas text JT top and tore his ACL we talked about him leaving that game at the 607 mark towards ACL in that loss to Arizona state so a big knock for the red raiders there in that one an unfortunate one is he was one of the better players in the country

yeah it was a man's world you never want to play doctor and honestly knees knees are tough right knees are tough when you see it but that that did not look good when he went down and I was I was fearing this I'm sure a lot of people were fearing this and yeah it's a it's a big loss number four Arizona back in the win column here they beat number 23 BYU 75 to 68 but they do not cover the 11 and a half that this thing went off that AJ DeBonza 35 points and seven boards there for BYU Kelly Bidlin but the team as a whole shot 26% from three comparatively to Arizona's 43% so whenever you look at the box score and you see that you lost by seven points and you see that you only shot 26% from three in the other team shot 43% you can pretty much point to where the difference is there in that one I feel even better this morning about my DeBonza bet us at we'll talk here second as to why as to why I feel even better about that for him to go number one overall but again 35 seven in the losing effort there for him Arizona back in the win column after dropping tuna. Yeah big win I ended up

betting this small good call by Will Hill yesterday BYU catching the points just minutes it felt like a lot of that second half was a bit of a bit of a sweat though there was Arizona would extend the lead pretty big the BYU would cut into it so a nice cover by them in the end but yeah I meant to bounce a great game and just just need some help if BYU is going to do anything here. The unranked Creighton squad beat number five Yukon outright as 15 and a half point dogs last night Kelly Bidlin there were some there was a nice little money line parlays to be had last night for somebody I'm surprised we didn't get flooded you know how the books like to show you the eight dollar bet that wins like 17,000 or something or whatever like I bet there were at least a couple of those you can do it too yeah just make these bets yeah Creighton again 15 and a half point dogs there in that one and get it done over Yukon number eight Kansas one and covered the eight and a half on the road against Oklahoma state 81 to 69 the good Darren Peterson did play Kelly and he scored 23 points and he went six of 10 from three this is the good 20

in the first half monster first half yes the bad he only played 18 minutes total in the game and he subbed himself out of the game this is continuing to be a story for the rest of I mean now this is a real story because now Bill self is getting asked about it you know in the pro in the post game pressers and stuff to which he said I didn't anticipate that tonight at all I thought he was good to go but we only got 18 minutes out of him that's disappointing because you could have had a really good night yeah I mean look this is the first time that you're you're kind of hearing Bill self I think speak pretty honestly about right expected to be out there the whole game I don't really know what's going on and it's it's I can't lie to you and say it's not a concern at this point right because it's a bunch of random stuff man I'm so obsessed with the story that could not have played out the NBA being the best reality TV show that there is you need it to start in college last night could not have worked out better to add more drama to to that reality TV show with the bands and do what he did and Peterson like I mean I'm a sicko it makes me like him even more right he's like I'm 20

in the first half coach I'm good like I'm out see it do whatever you need to do here in the second half but you're good on this win 81 69 cover a easy cover for Kansas to man I don't know what to do and there is going to be the you brought up your bed under bands that that gap has closed even just after last night I think right fully so Peterson at minus 290 now to be the first overall pick to bands and plus 370 and Matt like I think if this if the season ended today right and these NBA teams had to be on the clock I mean I think you're going to have some they're going to say Peterson's talents too good we're not passing up and then there's going to be some that are going to say we can't trust this guy's availability this is I'm with you a thousand percent of this is why I think that this is a bet that anybody could still make right now is because you only need whatever team wins the lottery to like to bands better right like whether it's whether it's even whether it's from an on court thing or maybe the

difference that they have between them from a physical standpoint is slim enough to where what they they don't have to question the off court and the motivation and the different things and stuff like that where it just pushes in the other direction right because this is franchise altering decisions and if you if you blow it and you take the wrong dude then and and it's because of the work effort it's because of the willingness to get in there and do it on a day to day basis and all of that and not because of just the talent types of you know you would never forgive yourself I mean just think about where like I think it's cool that scoot Henderson's getting back with the with the Blazers now we should actually see an extended run with him towards the end of the season but like we're what was that three years ago we still don't really know what scoot Henderson is and lovely the the trailblazers have been able to create a team through the Damien lower trades and drew holiday and all that stuff whatever they've got it they've got a functional core right now to believe in going forward but if he was supposed to be the franchise saving prospect that they brought in the whoops that that doesn't work and I I mean I don't

know Danny if you throw back up that graphic of just the I mean you're looking 15 games the guys play and it's like 26 minutes again you're it's incredible and you're just comparing okay 26 games play for to bands a 15 for Peterson minutes per game 26.8 for Peterson 33 and a half for to bands a okay points per game 24.8 for to bands a 20 for Peterson okay assist deals fine that's great three point percentage that's going to be the big thing right where three NBA teams go this kid is shooting over 40% from three with Darren Peterson that might be too much to pass up I bat him with you at this point I wouldn't be shocked if a team you know if you're the Memphis Grizzlies or something is it more important that we get a star that we think can sell out games like a Darren Peterson or a guy that we can actually build around this going to be available on a night tonight basis yeah I mean again it's like here's the thing too it's not like 36% from three is like a slouch and they're talking about a guy that could can get better at that too so I don't

it'll be an interesting race I think this I I really do think these odds are going to get a little bit closer as moved down the stretch number 10 Illinois went on the road they dismantled USC 101 to 65 easily covering the number there in that one number 11 Gonzaga covered the 15 and a half against San Francisco 80 to 59 number 14 Virginia one and covered the 13 and a half on the road against Georgia Tech 94 to 68 number 17 St John's one but did not cover against Marquette 76 to 70 ended up being that one somewhere in the 7.5 to 8.5 range where that thing closed three and a half point dog Missouri one outright at home against Vanderbilt 81 to 80 however Kelly at the 843 mark they were up 66 to 45 and had to win this game by point so that kind of let you know man you can I know yeah almost almost blew it but they did at least hold on to win so good on Missouri there in that one Alabama needed two over time to knock off number 20 Arkansas 117 115 racer back did cover the four and a half there in that one

two first rounders going at it in that game you had Darry say cuff 49 points on 16 of 27 6 of 10 from 3 11 of 12 from the line and he also had five boards and five assists to steal in a block yeah that's pretty good that's pretty good even in even a double overtime yeah that's an impressive night yes and then I'll I'll be I turned on this game in the middle of the first overtime was able to catch it at me what wild game but she's a few haven't seen it at least go watch the highlights of this one anyway it's going to be tough to be for game of the week game of the month game of the year so yeah the Baron filing on the Alabama side 35 and seven of his own another guy this projected me at first round I can't get over this draft class yeah I this there's a reason why all these teams are taking I mean just even those two go go on at last night I mean it was impressive impressive to watch both of them just trading blows we had we had used him let I know a bit hitting a couple big threes close to Gillis heart here for a Bama down the stretch so that was fun to watch as well and man that this Bama team has been I mean the way they play

it's been my favorite team to watch over the past few years yeah the running the run again honestly though if you look at the stats from last night they did not hoist up a million threes you like you would it you expect in a double overtime game that you look down you back how did they shoot 67 threes in this game or something but they yet they didn't do it 29 yeah attempts for the Alabama yeah in a double overtime game you'd have thought that you know you're thinking easily in the thirties but they they they did not do that anyway figure out a way 34 free throw attempts figure out a way to get it done but boy it was a it was a night last night for sure we are now we're pretty sure we have teed off over there at the at Riviera so we got a lot of we had a lot of good stuff here because guess what Kelly Bidlin the NBA is back as well this evening that's right that's right it was just checking out side I don't think we have golf yet the did you catch you'll hit NBA well here next time right we'll go through games did you catch the curling news this morning oh boy there was a weather delay the ice was not was not crisp enough there was a weather delay

against the teams teams could not get to the arena on time because of bad weather outside but it just just sounds funny when you're talking about weather delay I was watching I think it was which was obviously a replay last night in in the the US women completely blew it against Great Britain just completely blew it on the very last stone of the whole thing the rock of the whole thing gold main or whatever it is NBA when we come back numbers game on fysand these sports betting network numbers game here on facing these sports betting network Matt and Kelly rolling right into NBA because we got a lot of news and then we got to get to the games as well Joel and bead out tonight versus the Hawks were they sore right chin that sucks man uh the sixers have lost six of the last seven that he has uh that he's not played so not not good for their hopes of winning this evening this is I know we've said this uh many many

many years but uh the the 76ers need Joel yeah yeah and they need him to be playing at the level that he was playing yet that I really never thought we were going to see again so this is I kind of got excited about it again after thinking I was never going to be excited about seeing Joel be a really playing again and this is this is deflating because you we know how this story goes from here I know it's the if it's a a sore right shin that they're keeping him out for it's like oh boy if that this feels like the way worse stuff before and it's like oh boy this feels like we'll see in two weeks Joel and then you're going to try for like two games and they're going to shut him down Steph Curry is going to remain out of lineup for the warriors though Christopps for Singus is going to make his debut for golden state this evening they are dogs at home to the Celtics and Kelly when this kind of came through last night it happened to be sitting in front of my computer and I went and took a look at everything and I played under warriors 43 and a half wins they have to win 15 of their last 27 to get to 44 wins like it and

the if you listen to what Steve Kerr said like they have not ruled out him having to get like another MRI in the next couple of days and stuff and all this like it is not like an imminent return here for Steph Curry and so they got a middle of the road schedule so it's not like they have an easy schedule as it is anyway remaining and then they're kind of stuck most likely where they are anyway right because they are eight games up on the 11th place Grizzlies for the play in and they're four and a half games back on the Lakers and the Timberwolves for the sixth seed to get out of the plan so they're almost stuck in the play in anyway right so yeah they are so are you really going to rush Steph Curry back when you know your only chance of doing anything whatsoever is to have him somewhat healthy so like I kind of looked at this and go the kind of locked into where they are it doesn't seem like he's coming back anytime soon yeah and they got to win 15 in the last 27 games I like to bet it's one that I've been you know we brought up I think I brought up

last week with you to pay shit this team is like the Warriors are always one of those franchises one of those teams you never want to rule out but once Jimmy Butler goes down and now any game where Steph Curry is going to miss it for me it's it's nearly impossible to look at Golden State as a pass so I like I like your bet I did same thing I I was sitting here scratch my head over over an all-star break past few days not understanding this Boston Golden State line because it really did seem not a full full fully implying that Steph was going to be back but kind of that hedge that we see on the injuries and I'm like I don't really know that we've heard anything from Warriors from Kerr to really expect him back right away so I did jump in kind of like you said right one kind of news came down I happened to be able to lay a two and a half with Boston I think they're still a good bet tonight probably you could lay five if you need a money line parlay partner I think they are a good good bet and for your win total like it's Boston and Denver the next two games right like this is even one where you could go you could bet your under right now and if you need okay you get

positive Steph Curry news here over the next week you can always just kind of buy off yeah locking a little bit of profit yeah it just to me when you look and then we you're hearing what they're having to say and they're like because they don't have any scores either they're like we're going to have to feature poor Zingas is like a score and all of that and it's like which fine we've seen him score before but he's coming in I mean this is probably getting like we're coming down the stretch here and he's going to have to come in and start to be the leading scorer of this team like I'm not saying he can't do it I'm just kind of playing the percentage I'm glad you brought that back up because I kind of skipped over that part luck the Steph stuff is the most important but to you to your point of where's this team going let's take your time with Steph what what what like poor Zingas better he better have been ready like two weeks ago yeah and this is just the first we're hearing it because this doesn't make any sense to me either of why you if he's really just coming back like and he's just ready now I would be waiting for for him to and this isn't going to help the tank haters out there in the least bit but the two highest paid players on the kings are both

done for the season we had now and there's no there's no undoing this one because the news comes out after they already had surgery so do I want to bonus bonus and Zach Levine both had surgeries yesterday so there's no like hey man you got to play these guys like I'm sorry they're already under the knife sorry there's nothing we can do about this uh so bonus for a meniscus and then Levine has a tendon in his right hand that they had to go in and fix and so the the the two dudes with a pulse there on the kings yeah or both are both done so as well yeah the uh yeah the first joke I made on Twitter was the man that those uh those uh x-ray waves from Santa Clara just way more powerful than we even thought it clearly it's uh it's just what do you even say it's it's surgery so it's like you can't make too much which is which is which is why it's genius by the king's eyes if they're clean up procedures or whatever a meniscus thing is like quite literally he will be out of this like the surgery he just he had yesterday probably took 10 minutes because they just go in with a scope and just kind of like whatever's it but hey he had surgery done for

the season in like what are you gonna do you can't argue with it can't argue with yeah you can't argue with two guys had surgery yeah however Sacramento's like hey we can this that's our right it's like the jazz really you're really gonna find me after we won a game like what am I supposed to do like the kings would be like well you can find me guys have surgery I mean like it's it's so easy to choke about and I don't I don't want to make too much light of it because it is like debonus to bonus was we thought we're just gonna be traded so was this something that was potentially it was mentioned in loving mentioned in trade talks yeah nobody wanted that no they were trying they were trying to yeah they were trying to get rid of that contract terrific like some bonus I thought was like I thought Toronto was gonna get you know he's making 50 million dollars yeah loving yeah it's one of the worst contracts in the NBA tour and it gets to opt-in next year it's a player option it's not a team up Sacramento Kings saw him into Rosen works so well in Chicago and we need this in Sacramento but we they got it what power what power he has like it's so great though hey man go ahead and go get that surgery because we want it we want to lose

and and then in the offseason he gets to opt-in to his 50 million dollar contract oh yeah yeah like if you didn't like they're in Peterson last night exactly feeding next year I don't know my foot started a little bit let me take the night off all right Kelly let's get into any bets that you have what game you want to start with here well kind of went through it real quick it did bet Celtic say yes talked about that yes I laid two and a half I know it's what is it five five and a half right now for that game with golden states yeah start there look this is Boston fanatics just flips just six as you say that so yeah there's money coming in on the Boston side already this morning I see I think Fandall because I'm seeing the boy number five here in town so I think Fandall's at five two I think if five is still a bettable number if you're getting over five and a half six I always like to play that five this kind of the kind of the two possession right you get into the foul game we talk about key numbers in the NBA it's kind of more like key ranges like that whole six to eight is the most important range I usually work in five though too so kind of play that I think if you are looking for a money line play look there's there's Olympic hockey

people want to get in on going on right there's some other NBA games here tonight some of these tanking teams just going to bring that out as an option I think Boston could work they are since in the past month nine and four seven point one net rating at six best in the NBA 12th best offense third best defense this golden state team over that same time 19th best net rating no no curry tonight as we as we said Boston good good road team defense travel 1710 against the spread away on the road this season golden state one in five ATS their last last six games and oh in five ATS the last five at home so yeah do like do like Boston tonight. I'm a little squared tonight here Maddie all right a little square tonight I mean do some favorites for sure yeah I'm kind of looking at what's lighting up right this second the over money coming in currently on Brooklyn and Cleveland so we are seeing that get pushed up to as high as 230 and a half now so there is the the over money coming in here early this morning on the nets and the calves like we

said there's some action coming in on the Celtics is that even got pushed up to six at a book we are looking at a little bit of love for the pistons here Kelly despite the fact that they're going to be shorthanded as some of these four and a half are now turning into fours right in front of my very now that was the first bet I made when these numbers opened up I you know we're kind of I waited for all the books to release you get over the all star break the you know you get different books putting up stuff at different times I did I jumped on the next mat it's like I felt like both these games that involve the pistons or ordinance tonight we're just feeling a little light and not fully factoring in the suspensions that we saw out of that brawl so I'm still scratching my head and for this next team yet we've talked about look the pistons been great on the road I don't want to say I haven't bet but the nicks have been rock solid at home this season 22 and seven straight up uh 29 against the number uh 10 and two straight up and against the spread in their last 12 games to the nicks you've been watching the NBA following it all this season you know the nicks have been hey it's been real good real bad real good uh it's basically been

their entire season so laying four and a half at home out of the all star break this uh the pistons missing both both of their important biggs with dern and steward out I think cat has has his weight tonight I do like the nicks lay in the four four and a half yeah so that one again there's uh we'll keep you updated here as it does look like this is a pretty active board here this morning with people coming in early here on a Thursday betting some NBA they're like hey we hadn't been able to bet it in a while we got to get it to get this money in early because I mean my screen just uh lighten up all over the place here so we'll let you know how all of those moves uh continue here but boy it is I'm glad to have the association because it's great yeah glad to have the association card tonight and let you know what's going on over there in the golf and then let's take a look at some of these MVP side young markets over there and majorly baseball

sports betting network numbers game here on these and these first thing network is the golf gets going and killing I've staring down the barrel of a four putt with Jake nap right on hole number one hell so yeah it's like trying to ride off the valve yeah we're out of the bag we're like uh well that's not gonna work out but listen a lot of golf to be played but when you're on in two on a par five you don't want a four putt and he has a long he's definitely three putting because he's about to hit the three but it but it's he's got a lot of meat on that bone yeah there's as they say there's a chance uh I don't want to I don't read in too much into two putts map but uh I don't know if Jake nap hit hit the practice putting greens in all this way let's see the speed speed was quite off on both of those buttons a little yippy there on that one for sure guys you can head on over some of these guys and teed off you can get west's you can get uh you can get west's thoughts and all his plays over on bson.com of course the m ob bedding guy that's still available for download over there where one of the first ones to market on all of that want to make sure you're trying to get the best

numbers all the thoughts here before everybody starts focusing in on major league baseball great Peterson as usual over there for the college basketball stuff that Cohen's got NBA stuff over there as well so bson.com slash subscribe as little as 999 if you want to get started over there with that Kelly building a little bit of news here before we get into some some baseball stuff because this is baseball adjacent also very relevant in the uh sports betting world here as a manual class A and Luis Ortiz of course the guardians pictures are accused of fixing pitches and stuff like that did plead not guilty in Brooklyn federal court uh yesterday now this is where things get interesting so the indictment was presented on Friday a rewritten and the basically they've learned a little bit more including that class A used code words like rooster and chicken in communications to uh about pitches that are being thrown they went into a text message to prior to a May 18th 2025 game in which class A received a message to throw a rock at the first

rooster in today's fight to which he responded with yes of course that's an easy toss to that rooster so yeah and code good thing we use code words he throws hard and like gets people to to miss pitches but apparently not the smartest guy to be texting this stuff and whatever and code words work Matt until uh until the guy on the other end is uh handed an indictment request to fight the word issue. See uh a day earlier uh class A he used his cell phone in the middle of a game against the Reds to signal to gamblers that he would pitch outside the strike zone for his first pitch in the field enabling them to win about $27,000 in the middle of the game but this guy made this guy was in the middle of a $20 million dollar contract and he's and he's doing this I guess thought it was fun. How do we have like this is besides uh it just had cell phones in general how do I any player in any sport have access to a cell phone in the middle of a game just mind so lawyers for Ortiz so

here's kind of the big twist in all of this so lawyers for Ortiz have asked that this uh that this case be split and they be tried separately because he is claiming that Ortiz is a victim of class A they were friends because they were both from the same country and all of that and that basically class A abused his relationship with Ortiz basically being like hey you ought to try this pitch on whatever like on on your first pitch to this guy or this guy really likes first pitch fastball you shouldn't you need to do curve balls and stuff and then he would relay that information to these other guys so basically they are saying that Ortiz was got got used by class A in all of this okay and so they want this to be separate trials because they don't want Ortiz to go down for the stuff that it seems very obvious that Klaus A was doing sounds like a good case to build right like it I mean if you can yeah if you can say you are pressured of any kind right and then the direct close if Klaus A passed along Ortiz's pitching strategy to gamblers he did so without Ortiz's knowledge is how his attorney is framing okay all right what I mean that could be big for

honestly honestly it's not out of the realm of possibility because he's arguing it by his lawyers it was because their countryman yeah one dude's a star on the team this other guys making 700 grand you know Ortiz was on like a 700 grand contra all this stuff you know ball like he might have been taken advice from him and just be like hey you need to start to go out with the curve ball or something and and and then given that to these dudes to go bet on it's it at least sounds like a sellable story yeah so whether it's your way whether guess what attorney you've already done very good because you've at least got me questioning how this went down so if maybe in the court of law you probably get a couple of other people going huh yeah that seems that seems crazy what what it's crazy is that a guy making $5 million a year was doing this to make pennies it's dude a couple grand it's insane it is like the man know these are not the last these stories we're going to see either yeah I was I was wrong on that part that right like we we we sat here we did shows for years and

never thought I never I never thought we'd I really didn't think we'd see stuff like like that yeah it just were these pro athletes could put themselves in that kind of jeopardy making that much money because it was just never made sense it was never worth it and it also goes down it also goes down to the fact and not to derail but yeah yeah and again like I don't think that I'm not like ban it guy and whatever and also but like we got to think through some of the micro betting stuff for sure yeah where so it's different it's different on in golf like micro betting works in golf because Kelly they're not on salary so you can go out and if you do poorly you're going to get cut and then you don't get paid so you're the pennies you would make from doing any sort of thing nefarious or whatever is far outweighed by the fact that you're not going to get a paycheck and you're actually going to lose money by going to this tournament and doing poorly whereas this guy's on salary so him throwing a couple pitches outside the strike zone and honestly in his mind he's thinking like I can still come back and strike this guy out okay right yeah like I'm not

really harming the team and you know that you know it's one pitch right fine fine I'm dead I start off with this guy so it's just it's just different scenarios right where I think it maybe we just kind of revisit the micro betting stuff and where it can obviously be manipulated and while also not necessarily hurting that specific person that seems ripe for for for badness whereas I can golf no like I'm not going to hit the green well then if I bogey the hole and then I bogey the next hole and also then I'm going home I get cut I make no money like all it's just it's much it's it's it's the same but very different yeah it's I think this is another thing I've kind of changed my mind on over the years right where it's the when this when when we got full legalization I didn't like the idea of really any of the of the of the close oversight ideas that people were throwing out there in there it's but some of this stuff is like the micro betting stuff not going to have I don't have a good pushback to that because usually I'm like no I want people to be able to bet what they want to bet where they want to bet it for how much they want to bet it your job is a book

is if you're going to post stuff take a bet on what you're going to put and usually that's what I always say I don't know anybody I do not know a single person that without insider information betting whether it's going to be a ball or strike in does it well McCoy right in does it well yeah flip a coin you're yeah exactly so yeah when it comes the only person betting that at high stakes is either someone with a problem and so we don't want them betting it anyway or some of the inside information like you just said because it's flipping a coin it's flipping a coin so yes I do do I think I think you brought up well with with golf different example right I think every sport needs to be treated independently and different absolutely but yeah some of these things I think we so over major league baseball we under unfortunately kind of already know who's going to win MVP over in the national league as long as Shohei Otoni stays healthy which he has done for last couple of seasons he is going to win it any guy that goes out and hits for power steals bases and then also pitches very well is going to win MVP basically every single year they might just at the end of this rename the MVP award the Shohei Otoni MVP award and then so they can give

it to somebody else so it's it's very very hard all you were doing in this market Kelly and I don't think it's a horrible strategy but maybe you want to do it with someone like a little bit longer because it would be someone that could play their way into the conversation but you're you are betting on a show you are essentially betting on a Shohei Otoni injury is all you're doing you're betting into a market where the only way you're going to win is if a guy gets hurt and misses significant amount of time what is the price I was like my my only struggle here is like man I kind of think yeah I hear you I hear you why am I not betting Shohei and it's just locking up minus 125 for that long it's it's locking up minus 125 but but you know what we have seen people do with some of these prices that aren't that bad is if you you could lock up Shohei MVP tied into something else tied another some other future and then like at least make that minus 125 you know 10 to one yeah or something you know or something like that to where it's not I guess the question I'd have for you is okay Shohei starts off let's just say he to he starts

off the season he's uninjured and we are sitting here in end of May what's the price on him it was just say he's had he's been very Shohei average hitting him and pitching so he has done he has done basically what we expect of it yes yeah it'll be three dollars okay yeah it'll be three dollars because he's doing everything that Soto and Akunya and Tatis can do while also pitching you seem saying oh no I get that I was hoping you were going to say maybe like I'd rather wait that long and jump in at minus 200 but yeah it's going to be minus three because it's only price yeah it's literally only price this way right now because there is still the injury risk and there's still yeah there's still the injury I mean we haven't even gotten through spring training yet he he can injure himself and spring training I mean that's like that that is a thing that could happen and so yeah I mean it wouldn't surprise me if once we get through spring training if some of these guys a bigger bank rolls come in and and hit that like you're talking about maybe we won't get more minus 125 as close as we as we thought when we go back let's take a

look at the NFL coach of the year-odd
