a number's told the story now. He's one of those idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Gill. I like Xander gone VC. One day edition of a numbers game. You're a recently sports betting network. Matt Brown in for Gill one more week. Kelly Biblin here with me as well. We will get into some baseball talk with Paul Sporer a little bit later. Welcome back Paul Sporer for 2026. That's right. It's been a lot. We have not seen him since last baseball season. Greg Peterson, of course, will join. We'll get all of his college basketball thoughts. If you want to go check out what he's got going on over Visa.com as well up on there each and every day. Our very own Adam Burke will also join us as we will talk. College basketball, baseball and anything else Adam Burke wants to talk about. Yeah, man. He's. He's earned that right as they say. He's earned that right. He has. He has a body as a break between betting guys because I know we get a lot going on with the website right now. Yeah. So he can come in and do that.

We'll talk some golf. We'll recap all of the stuff that went on over the weekend, including what just happened over there at Pebble Beach. The AT&T program. Colin Moore. Howell wins for the first time in 28 months. It's a birdie there on the 72nd hole, which edges out. Menwu Lee and Sep Straca who had eagled right before he tapped in that birdie. He got him to 21 under. But more, uh, more cowons up at 22 under your outright leader here. No playoff needed to clear those two guys. And, uh, yeah, you look down there. Scotty Sheffler gets his way back up to a T4 with Tommy Fleetwood. As Sheffler started eight strokes back on the day, but shoots a nine under 63 on Sunday to extend this top 10 streak that he has going right now, which is just the most absurd thing. Yeah. Basically ever at one point was 13 strokes behind in this tournament was 10 strokes down after the first day. But anyway, I mean, let's, let's not take away from more cow.

We'll get to Scotty Sheffler here in a second, but more cowl. It is a guy that led in strokes gained approach. So we earned it with those irons of his fourth and driving accuracy, second and greens in regulation tied for the most birdies of anyone in the tournament tied for the third fewest bogies of anybody in the tournament. And of course, even though the putter was not red hot, it certainly showed up when he needed it the most. And so more cow gets the win. And like we said, it has been a very, very long time, Caleb. Mm hmm. Yeah. And if look, he can, uh, if he can put up approach, um, works like that, right? Keep it in the fairway and have just break even putting week like he's, like he pretty much did. Oh, yeah. That's, that's the more a cow formula to success. Uh, we just haven't really seen it much here recently. Man, he was, I could tell, you know, post round interviews after Saturday and some, man, he was feeling it and big smile on his face. Like, got it basically said, like he hadn't felt like this in a long time. So I, I don't want to say it was a shock that we saw him win by any means.

I think when his iron plate picks up like that, we, we talked about it a lot last week on this show on long shots, such an approach, heavy golf course. If you can really put it at the right spot on the green, um, just really, really going to give yourself an advantage. Uh, so yeah, great win by more a cow, um, step stride, man, there's a lot of guys we go through here. Strock, I'm making a push late. I know West was on him. I think it was great to see that at those type of finishes out of him and men will leave. I think gives me a little bit of excitement, excitement for those guys going forward. No, no questions about some of the guys coming over to Europe, right? We see where Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Rory McAroy, all finished. Those were kind of question marks. How are they going to look on their first BGA tour event? I don't think any worries there. Great to see Nico etch of a rea put together a great, uh, a good finish. A guy we, a lot of us were high on kind of coming into this season and during last season and just put together a clunker, uh, at the beginning of the year, it will look real playing well still Jake nap, another top 20, which is just insane. I, yeah, a lot of great stories.

And yes, sheffler almost making that push was incredible. Yeah, it is, uh, it was, it certainly answered some questions, I think, for some of these dudes out there, uh, Ken Moore Cowell still get it done because listen, there was definitely some pressure here. This is a dude that was having to stand around for 20 plus minutes between shots on 18 because of what went on with Jacob Bridgman who had hit it down into the, hit it down onto the beach. Then he tried to hit it off of the beach. It went into the water. So then he had to go back and replay from the point where it crossed and all these different things that were going on. So Moore Cowell is literally staying out there for 20 minutes, just thinking about the next shot, which you guys know, also, it's hard enough as it is. Then you factor in the wind that was blowing, you factor in how cold it was and then you factor on that you're standing around just thinking as long as I don't mess this up, I'm probably going to win this tournament as long as I don't mess this up. I probably put it on the green. Yeah, it's like as long as I don't mess this up, I'm probably going to win this tournament that can get to a lot of people, but it did not Moore Cowell and he does get it done. So congrats to him. Of course, we'll talk golf a little bit more here later in the show.

There's a quick little nugget that Anthony Kim did win over at live. You know, the Anthony Kim story, a guy that was a super hot of name on the tour, then injuries, addiction, all the different things like that. Second shot over there at live and then wins for the first time in 16 years. So good on Anthony Kim, again, I don't watch live. Don't really care for it, but the story's fine. Nonetheless. So I tweeted this out yesterday, because I was, I think I watched when I saw what the leader board was, what was that come Saturday night? I was watching, I watched more live this weekend than I have a baby effort. Just like it was great. You got ramen to shambo down the stretch. They had a nice lead over Anthony Kim, you're like, oh, that's a nice story. I don't think he's going to be around totally didn't watch the end of the tournament though. And you're like, oh, Anthony, Anthony Kim won. Okay. Okay. I did enjoy Colt Nose gave him a shout out of the PGA tour broadcast yesterday and it was just crickets. Just crickets. We're still at that point with the BGA tour and live, I guess. Well, a lot of the different guys took to social media, you know, congratulating and stuff

like that as well. A lot of the tour guys. So that was nice to see only one ranked team in action yesterday in college basketball. We got more to talk about that a little later in the show, but it was Illinois number eight team in the country, routing Indiana 71 to 51. So they covered any and all numbers that were available out there. NBA All Star weekend is, it came and it went, I'll put it this way. The action out on the court was at least a little bit better than I expected. So I did watch. So I kind of broke my own little rule. I did watch. I wanted to see what was going on and I will admit I only started watching after I saw on social media people going, oh, they're, they're actually care. They're playing. They're playing hard. And so I tuned in. I think they did. It was fine. It was somewhat entertaining. It's still not my cup of tea, but you know, at least they weren't out there just like completely clowning around. Yeah. That's a tough conversation. I feel like I'm going to be a bit of a buzzkill because all I've seen, all I've heard is positives out of it. So far, and it was the, it all about the energy and how everybody's trying and that, that's

great. Wait, wait, wait. This, my positive is, is it wasn't, my positive is, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and you're taking that as a positive. I wasn't talking about you. Okay. I'm talking about all I said was it wasn't as terrible as I thought it was talking about a lot of NBA and a list of people after all. This is great. Did we, the big question? Did we fix the All Star game? I don't know. I, we're not, we're not at that point, Matt. I don't think you can't, I think like the Pro Bowl, right? Like this is, it's just gone and it's, yeah, you might hate that the Pro Bowl is on a Tuesday night and it's flag football. I think Anna fell just, they gave up on a product that was failing and I don't, it was great to see the competitiveness. You're right. Same here. I watched more of it because of that. But still at the end of the end of the day, I'm going to, what is this format? What is this format? You're trying to break up the, the internationals versus the US, but you've got four key international players that don't play or barely play, which is going to happen. I like to, I'm not blaming that on anybody. That's going to happen with injuries. But it just felt like you're at like some youth league, some, you know, we're going to

play one quarter and then you'll play the next and yeah, round, robin, turn, I just don't like the format at all. Yeah. No, I mean, it's, and that's fair. And again, I don't think they're fixing it either. I would prefer them just kind of like make it more like rock and jock basketball back in the day or something. Put a four pointer out there in the court, like if you're going to make it a weird format anyway, then just like whatever. Okay. Be weird and just let us. It's fine. I mean, I can still get up for the three point contest. Yeah. Tip the captain you, by the way. Yeah. You want to drag cash that. Wow. Bet it too. And you bet it. There we go. So, you know, like I can still get up for the three point contest. I, I enjoy watching the dunk contest, even when it's nobody's it'd be great if there was better people involved in that. But like you said, just, just, just lean into that stuff more and I'm good. So the Daytona 500 happened gross. I mean, what really happened? Who knows? At the end of the day, Tyler, Reddit won. He led one lap, which happened to be the final one, Kelly. So there, there is that 26 different leaders there for that race. And so this is not going to be an anti NASCAR rant.

This is going to be a anti NASCAR calling the Daytona 500, their Super Bowl rant because so imagine if it actually was the Super Bowl or Wimbledon or the Masters or whatever. And you hold a 17 point lead in the fourth quarter in the Super Bowl or you're up two sets to none at Wimbledon in your up 50 and the third set or you're sitting here and you're up nine strokes with one to play at the Masters. If the guy birdied eight, if the guy birdied the 72nd hole, he beats you anyway. Or if this guy gets one serve and if you don't win that one serve point against him, who cares that you won the first two sets and you're and you're up that you lose the match at Wimbledon or the Super Bowl. You're up 17. They get to line up for a 55 yard field goal with one second left. And if it goes through, you lose anyway, that's basically what it is here. It's like, it's their Super Bowl, but the best person doesn't win. It's just like this happens every single year. It's like this, it's just, it's a complete crapshoot.

And how do you want your Super Bowl being a role of the dice? That's the only thing for me. Like I don't, it's not an anti NASCAR thing. It's not even an anti day two and a 500 thing. It's the fact that they call it their Super Bowl and the person who went by goes, yeah, I don't even really know what happened. Next thing you know, I won. It's like, really? Like, that's what we want to be the Super Bowl. Like, that's what we want to be the biggest race of the year. And so again, maybe we're a little sour because we had the dude that we spun out right there at the end. We had the leader in the final lap, man. We were like 15 seconds away from winning. And then we weren't, but yeah, I don't know. I don't remember his name still. No, but check some like that. Host of host of host of host of our host of our close. We were close. Anyway, at the end of the day, it's fine. You know what you're getting into. We talked about it all week, multiple guests. But to me, to call this your Super Bowl, and then at the end, literally had the guy that one goes, yeah, I don't know. Looked up next thing. No, man. First place. It's like, okay. Seriously. Just, I mean, I agree with all of that, but the, you got to know what you're getting

into from a betting standpoint with this, right? And it is, I mean, I don't have said it ever, every year, said it last week, even, right? Like I will get involved. I like getting involved because it is crap, such a crap shoot, right? Like, you know, I had a 33 to one on that, dude, from halfway through the race and he's leading in the final lap. It's fun. But like, you need to know that half the field's just going to get blown out at some point. The Seattle Seahawks have a new offensive coordinator will let you know about that. The US men's hockey have a nice high seat and we set a record for all time trading cards sale this weekend. Whoa. You're here because you want an edge. That's what separates listeners from winners, but let's be real mindset alone doesn't get bets home pros win because they've got the tools, the data and the discipline. A numbers game on Vsyn, these sports betting network. A number game here on Vsyn Mat Brown in the four-gill Alexander, Kelly Bidlin on the desk from here. Appreciate you guys being with us. Serious channel 158 YouTube TV. Of course we have our Vsyn watch app and then terrestrial stations across this great country. But I don't know why people decide that they need to do this like in the offseason here. So Todd archer, the beat writer for the Cowboys. I guess he used motor radio shows and just wanted to let everyone know that the Cowboys find George Pickens multiple times last season. Like just to let everyone know like, hey, he's a problem still. Still a problem. Good season. Yeah. Still a problem. It's been a couple of times last year. I would have probably taken the over on whatever number they laid out there anyway. I said a perfect Cowboys wide or something like so they're going to franchise him. Yeah, we start getting that tomorrow by the way. So franchise tags officially get started start tomorrow. So we'll see about a we'll see about all of that.

I'm sure he will be upset because I'm sure he wants a long term deal. But guess what? You're a problem. Yeah. Yeah. That they definitely, by the way, I don't like I would play into this with Todd archer for him to put it out there knowing that they're they're going to franchise him tomorrow. And then when they do the interviews, they're going to go, you know, we, you know, we, we value him as a player and we're willing to pay him for a year and he can prove to us, you know, that he deserves a long term deal because we didn't want to. We had to find him a few times. But of course we got out there. Yeah, you know, we had to find him a few times last year and if we, you know, we can get a clean season out of him, you know, we're willing to, that's, he's that, this was all that laid out all perfect. He usually is. Yep. So the US men's hockey team, number two seed over there in the Olympics. They cannot meet Canada until the gold medal game. So we could have that, that match that everybody is looking forward to here is Canada minus 140 favorite to win the gold USA 2 to 1 for the gold Finland and Sweden or 10 to 1 and 13 to 1 and then everybody else is super, super long in all of that.

But we might actually get that Canada US gold medal game that everybody wants. Yeah. My question for one Jake Han tomorrow will be about the pricing on Finland, Sweden. I, these are only because a big, big time drop from what we saw pre tournament odds wise. USA, you, Canada USA right on top one, two, not a huge difference there, but we're interested to hear what he's got to say about some of these other countries' chances. Yeah. I mean, listen, if he gives me any sort of a compelling case to put a 16 to one in my account. Yeah. Exactly. For sure. It is hockey. There's variants. Chechi was way shorter, too. I don't know. What happened? Yes. There was variance in hockey. Seahawks are going to hire Brian Flurry. He is the 49ers, well, was the 49ers tied in and run game coordinator. He's going to be their offensive coordinator now. So he was with that team for for seven seasons, Kelly. And so I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. We always talk about Shanahan's coaching tree and if this guy didn't get hired away after

seven years. Maybe that's a good thing or a bad thing or maybe it's just shows his loyalty or something like that. But he is going to move over in division and come over and coordinate the offense for the Seahawks. There was a lot of stuff saying that maybe they were going to promote from within. But instead, they go out there in the division and bring in the 49ers, tied in, slash run game coordinator, Brian Flurry. Yeah. That is an interesting way to put it. You are right. We see it with how often with these coaching trees, man, like it is McVeigh, Shanahan. Like I mean, it's amazing how the same guys just get hired and you're right, probably not a good sign if you've been on that staff for seven years and you haven't got hired. However, to the Seahawks and Mike McDonald, I trust, I trust in what's going on there in Seattle. I think of all almost all things that they showed us this year. They showed us that organization is, it's got his head on straight and head in the right direction. So I'm going to trust in that move for right now. We got a, we got a ridiculous, I just had to bring this up because this is a, when

you make kind of the main ticker there on the front page of ESPN, you know, something like went on. So the Oklahoma women's softball team, they beat UTEP 34 to nothing in a college softball game. They had an inning in which they hit two grand slams in the same inning. They had three different players that each had six RBI in the game. And they called the game after five innings, they didn't even get to the sixth inning. I think they have, they have the 10 run rule, right? I think it in softball. Pretty sure they do maybe if you're up by 10 by the fifth, by the fifth or whatever, they were 30. I'm pretty sure. Yeah. They were 34. Thank God. Cause maybe they need a 30 run rule. It's a, yeah, maybe 34 to nothing. I'm pretty sure in slams in the same inning, I can't wait for Wyatt to call me out there in the break. Sure. I have my college softball rules down. Okay. I'm pretty sure I'm worried about that. I believe I want to pay off the T's here. So Logan Paul, yes, of the, of the WWE fame, not the boxer fame, that's the Jake Paul.

Right. Logan Paul's the wrestler who I've seen at the Olympics as much as anybody Logan, Logan Paul's the wrestler, Jake Paul's the boxer, AKA Netherlands speed skater. Yes. Boy for exactly. So Logan Paul has this Pikachu. He's the only one in existence. He's got a real one. It's the. Yes. You know, with the money he made, he might actually have a real one, you know, he might actually get one. And clone and guy. He can't find us. Quick. So it was a Pikachu illustrator. It is apparently the only 10 Jim met 10, one of these cards in the world in existence. It went to auction last night, Kelly Bidlin, and it brought in 16.5 million dollars for one Pokemon card. Now the, the highest card sale before that, a Mickey Mantle, a 1952 Mickey Mantle rookie that was in for seeing condition for 12.6 million. So this Pikachu illustrator, now of course, I don't know why I didn't think we were including

sports here. So this is this trading of any trading card ever, wow, of any trading card ever. And now he's going to get more money because it belonged to Logan Paul and all of, you know, and all of that stuff. And at least they can, I guess, trace that there is not and will not ever be another one of these because all of the packs or boxes, I guess have all been opened or something or whatever. I don't know. But it's like they do know that this is the only one in the world as opposed to you don't really know what sports, they keep finding old boxes of, you know, they keep finding sports cards and finding old boxes of cards and things and stuff everywhere. Right. Because they're the Pikachu cards or is it no, what are they called? What are they called? The rare Pokemon card. The rare Pikachu illustrator card, one of just 39 created for a Pokemon illustration competition in the late 90s. There you go. So they know how many of them exist. And so they know that this is the only one that is in the 10 jump, jump meant grade and

whatever and all that 16.5 million dollars. Bro, this is, I've just pulled up this article. This is insane. Okay. So one of one of 39, guess what, Paul Logan Paul threw in a diamond encrusted necklace that apparently the is framed to go with it as a hard frame with a nice chain, okay, to go with it. And Paul made $8 million slipping that guess whatever he bought it. Yeah. He bought it for about half. Good for good. Good. You know, it's not a bad good. Good on him. Yeah. I mean, you know, he certainly certainly needs it. We did see Arizona over in college basketball lose over the weekend for the second time in a row. Kelly. Texas Tech took care of them 78 to 75 in overtime. Texas Tech's JT top and 31 points on 13 to 22 shooting 13 boards, three assist two steals and a block in 44 minutes, I don't know if you know, not a college basketball game with overtime. It's only 45. So he played every single minute, except for one, Arizona just four of 16 from three. And so again, that was their second loss in a row.

And of course, we saw a bad Darren Peterson game. Yes, we did. And so how did that affect the, the first overall pick? By the way, that's still a big fan. Fandals really don't want to keep it up all day. I am so glad you brought that up because yes, that is the only place I have consistently seen it at, which I don't know. Can you, first of all, can you read into anything with that, Matt? Because this is less, it is less often being posted at other books. So I made a, because of based off of where you're going with all of it. So I made a debonso back, God, I don't hate it because because of like if other people aren't willing to put it up yet, Darren Peter still remains this like heavy favorite in this market. It was just a weird deal to me when you start to hear the stories about Peter sending you here, the buzz and you hear all the different things that are going on, plus you only need one team to like debons a better than him in this draft. Maybe he fits better, you know, with whatever team ends up winning the lottery or something

or whatever it is. I just thought it four to one because it was actually plus 390, whatever, four, three, four days ago. I thought it was worth a stab. I don't think it's bad. I mean, I've been sitting here with, I think I said it was probably three weeks ago and this was about minus one. And each way at that point, it was like, I think Peterson's a normal pick. I think this is probably a good, a good bet, but the only thing I was waiting for was, was the inconsistency, the lack of play was like, all right, well, I'm not going to jump in yet. Like, is this, is this more of a thing? Do we see this more often? Okay. And he has a down game. Just kind of what your internet, there's a lot of the on the court stuff when he plays for the most part has been awesome. There's been Kobe Bryant comparisons of what his game looks like. I've said it. You can plug him in right now in the NBA and he can be a good scorer. Man, there's a lot of weird things going on this season though. And just a lot of odd, if you want to be like us and you're reading into sports book behavior, like just a lot of odd signal out of that, out of this, out of him, out of

this team. I don't know. I'm still staying away. I don't blame you at all. I don't expect to win the bet. It's just when you listen to all of these guys that know much more about college basketball than I do. They mentioned Peterson and Debata in the same sentence every single time. And so I'm just kind of like, well, they keep getting mentioned in the same sentence that I'm getting four to one on one of the dudes. Maybe that's just the way to go. And don't expect to win it, but four to one, I will take it. When we come back, let's talk a little major league baseball MVP. A number of games on FESET, these sports betting network, number game here on V.C. Kelly, there was some basketball news this morning as well. Didn't somebody sign a play sign to player that's been playing and what was it playing in? Oh, yeah, Cameron Paine. I was like, where are you going with this? Yeah, Cameron Paine has been playing and where did you say he's been playing in? Like it was a bell green first of all. I've got a bunch to be signed with sixers, sixers.

Okay. So the sixers, I did see that out by phone right before the show started. I was like, campaign, okay, nice little signing. I guess for the sixers. And I'm like, that was sitting there. I'm like, where's he been playing this whole season? I don't remember seeing him. Yeah. So that's why that's why Serbia. You've probably not been streaming those games. Yeah. I've been betting as much Serbian basketball this year as I normally tell you, it's become a little bit of a betting leak trying to dial back. It's not one of those Russian ping pong situations where he's been like going to town on that. No, no, no, no Serbian basketball. Yeah, you know better than anybody is that's still like, what's that handle in Colorado do it? Well, I mean, let's, we can look here is if we, if it is still listed in the main menu on draft king, remember for the longest time, it just, it just had table tennis listed in the main menu. It loses out because there's so much Olympic stuff going on. Okay. So it's not going to, it doesn't make the main menu. Also, like it was, it had gotten big everywhere during the pandemic, but like the, the, the funniest part to me was not that it got big during the pandemic. It was that Colorado, like two years later, it was still like, you know, number five on

its most bet sports. I don't know if it was that low. We still get up. We have, I mean, we got curling going right now. Um, this is, if you see about controversy in the curling world, where too much double touching going on, like people accusing people of double touching, I did see that. Yeah. I'm kind of fan real quick about the Olympics. This is, I like watching a lot of this stuff. And man, I know NBC's got to do what NBC's got to do, but it is like impossible to figure out where live stuff is, like when I can watch it, I tuned in to the three point contest extremely late during that, Matt, because I had no idea that it was going to start that early in the day. Um, I mean, like what did the three point contest wrapped up, like two PM Pacific time? And I know it's because of the Olympics coverage, everything's on NBC and you got to fit it in. But like, if you're not going to show me live Olympics, why are we pushing up when we're going to do the NBA, I don't, I don't, I don't, I know this is live, but they don't

have the little live symbol, like you have to have, like you have to have, and then like why, like just, just flood, like you've got all these channels, you got peacock, still I struggle somehow with finding just live, live all day long. It should be. It's not like the time changes massive right now, we should have a million events going on. Guys, if you want to come out and watch the world soccer championship, you can do it at circa resort and casino in Las Vegas for absolutely free because every contest, it's going to let you do that two nights. Of course, it's a gigantic limo that will take you from the airport to here, so it's massive, massive, all the, all the limos here are just massive.

Yeah. It's a stylish way to cruise around town, okay? A bit of one of those once, I got dragged along one time and just circling back in January of 2025, a state record, $31.7 million was wagered on table tennis in Colorado. There you go. So still going strong, at least as of a year ago, there are some, there are some table tennis sharps there in Colorado. I don't know why there was, don't know why there were some sad days around this place during the pandemic. I know. Me and Mitch Moskot on like a whole 36 hour Russian ping pong run, it was something, and then I retired. Did you just blindly bet? But basically, you know, like he and I were trying to figure out is there any edge here, right? Like, what do we figure out? I think I finished like probably up 20 bucks, so I was like, that's a good, a good retirement. All right. Let's look at American League MVP. We are getting into baseball talk in earnest. Like we said, Paul Spore join us here a little bit later in the program as you would imagine your favorite is going to be Aaron judge. It plus two 25 Bobby Whitt at five 50 Cal Raleigh at eight 50 13 to one on both Julio Rodriguez

and Vlad Jr. You could Jose Ramirez, Nick Kurtz at 15 Gunner Henderson at 16 Roman Anthony sitting there at 17 to one, by the way, named to the world baseball classic team today for Roman Anthony. So they are taking a real shot here on a very, on an unproven dude, but certainly potentials through the roof. So 22 to one as is junior came arrow and so as you are, you're an Alvarez 25 and Jeremy Pina will go on from there 30 to longer, but Kelly, here's the deal with judge. What you're getting is a dude that's projected in the high 40s in homers as obviously a good season's low 50s in homers and the projection systems out there. It's over a hundred RBI. It's scoring 100 runs. You're going to get a handful of steals eight to 10 steals out of him as well. And this comes with a 400 plus, could be as high as 450 plus OBP because he walks so much, right? Like he's got a really good eye at the plate. And so it's really tough. You see the odds and you're saying, man, I don't want to lock up, you know, money for

one of plus two 25 for as long as it is. I mean, it kind of comes down to the same thing we would we will talk about with the NL. With health as long as there is health, it's going to be tough to take judge down because of what he does completely, right? He gets on base, he scores runs, he hits bombs, he gets RBI and he'll even steal you a handful of bases as well. Yeah. This is, I don't know. I'm not going to try to make this a boring MVP conversation, but one question I had written down for you. Why would I not better in judge here? Yeah. I mean, it's mostly because you don't, yeah, that would be the reason to be because you, I'm blocking up money for a long time. You don't want to lock up money for as long as it is to on a plus two 20. I would be the only reason. But this, I mean, isn't last season like the perfect example of like what he's going to have to get out of somebody else to push him any, any still. So like second on the list is Bobby Witt and like, so what he brings here is kind of like the upside of a 30, 30 season. So I mean, that's kind of what you would have to have for him to really, really be considered.

You'd need 30 helmets and 30 steals and maybe you'd need a 30, 40 season out of him in order to really push judge because the thing is is he's probably not going to have as many RBI maybe about the same amount of runs scored or something like that, but you know, get nowhere close to the same amount of home runs, probably not RBI. He will have probably 10, 12, 15 more doubles than judge will have or something like that. But then also he plays in Kansas City who is not a lot to even be that division, you know, in their mix in that division. Now, the odds say that they will be, but who knows? It's a pretty, it's a competitive division. And so you have that call route Cal Riley, who's next at eight, 50. I expect him to have a huge step back from last season. I would never in a million years bet him at plus a 50. You're talking about a dude that went from 34 to 60 homers in a season, right? And he only played six more games last year than he did the year before and yet went from 34 homers to 60 homers. I expect closer to 40, you know, I mean, not just 20 fewer homers, not to say he can't,

but it is extremely hard to replicate that type of season. Yeah. I mean, he is a high K rate high fly ball dude that like is going to not really hit for average because he hits so many fly balls and all that. And like also, we're, we live in the analytics. They're like these pictures in the off season, probably figured out, had a pitch, you know, looked at a ton of film on him, definitely more on, on team and picture radars this year than at this time. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they knew he had, they knew he had power. They didn't think he had 60 home run power, you know, because again, like I said, the guy had 34 the year before I mean, if anything, his teammate is certainly with the odds that are presented at 13 and one in who the Rodriguez is more of an interesting bet to me than it is for Cal Raleigh because at least he has kind of that Bobby wit upside with playing super elite defense in the outfield. A team that's probably going to win their division went to the, you know, all the things that you want to look at with him. I mean, he could be a 30, 30 guy and potentially a 35, 35 type of guy.

He didn't walk very much, but he also keeps the strikeouts in check. So he's not going to K near as much as Cal Raleigh does and all that. So I mean, if any, if I had to non judge, it would probably be more than that Rodriguez type of range than anything else with all of that. I just think Bobby wit has a really tough hill to climb because there's a world that exists where he has an unbelievable season, but it's like it's 27 homers and 31 steals and 104 runs and one and all that and like that is an unbelievable season, but counting stats comparatively to what judge is going to put up. People are like, no, there's just no way in what I mean, the teams matter, right? Like that. And where you play teams matter and then what's around judge more from what I'm talking about team, right? Like you said, like Royals are supposed to be bad, but this is just so much more talent that you're going to have that means more men on base for, you know, for judge, all that type of stuff. Okay. So would Rodriguez be the question? I got two questions for you. You can't bet judge. You had to make a bet right now.

It's really Rodriguez. Is that what I'm going to probably a 13 one mainly because so Roman Anthony was about a month ago, like 45 to one and he has just taken an incredible amount of money because I guess people started paying attention to just how good he was before he got hurt last year and had no bleak injury, but he came up. He was lighting it up and on the major league level, but then got injured. But I mean, like I said, got picked for the World Baseball Classic team today. That's how much confidence they have in a dude like that at 45 to one. I would have told you him, but you know, 70 just no, no chance. Okay. I would judge is it is more of the question of when do you bet this like is this do you have a little now? That's something you can kind of wait on this because it's not going to get that much worse. Right. Yeah, quick because again, it is still a counting stat award, right? I mean, like unless he comes out and hits 10 homers in the first six games of the season or something. Now, we'll talk in a MVP later. That could be a little bit different story with that, right? Yes. Now, that is something we could talk about for sure because you can't you just can't

put Otoni in the account at and all with all that. When we come back, I'm going to college basketball, Greg Peterson. Here's the number's game. Feesa the sports betting network. There's the numbers game here on the sports betting network in Kelly, we really, really dropped the ball here. Happy president's day to everybody out there. Hey, you two. We do have president's day all day basketball, but you know what the best day to listen to

slash watch a numbers game is every day, my friend. I know. Well, he could have said he could have said on the days that I'm in here, but he said he just went every day. It's fine. That's why it's fine. You know, we'll take the I'll take the half compliment there with it. So Greg, we do have some plays from some of these other games in which teams might not be as familiar to our listeners and viewers, but I do want to start out with the premiere game of the day in Houston and Iowa state. This is currently two and a half in favor of Iowa state at home here, one thirty four and a half to one thirty five and a half out there in the market. If you're in a score bet market, you can get one thirty five and a half if you're looking for an under. I know again, not one of your favorite ones of the day, but give somebody out there who wants to bet this an idea of where you're leaning. Absolutely. A great top to match up right here and I put myself on the side of the points. I did sub by line at two with Iowa state, being the favorite now that we're getting up to two and a half. I'm willing to take the points with you, because I think that this is going to be

a nippin dog game. I think that these are two teams that really want to announce themselves that a we're a final four contender. We can be great competitors to Arizona. I still think it's the best team in the conference, even though they've lost those back to back games and for Houston, it is a team that they play very slowly, but they also do a really nice job of doing one thing, taking care of the ball. They are number one in the country, in terms of the fewest tournaments on a per position basis on offense, Iowa state. Their whole defense built around turnovers, top 10 team, terms of turnovers generated on a per position basis. And if you think that this is closer up for late game following, like I do think, I think that that total of one thirty four and a half just low enough for an over high semi total at a one thirty six and also be mindful of this as well. Let's say that you get the late game following. We all know that Iowa state is really good three point shooting team. They're not a good free throw shooting team. They should less than sixty eight and a half percent at the free throw line. So took the points here with Houston and I like the over. Yeah, Greg, this is, is this a game?

Do we think we're seeing this number move up at all a little bit from the reaction of what we saw over the weekend with Kansas or do you think this number is where it exactly where it would have been? I feel like it is where it would have been as well because with Houston, they've been able to go on a nice run themselves, so both of these teams are coming in with a little bit of momentum. So I don't think that that had too much of an impact here. I was thinking that this was going to be right in that neighborhood about one and a half to two and a half myself. All right. Let's get to one of the games that is part of your fab five today, Colgate and Boston Kelly. Give me the Colgate mascot. I knew this one. Oh, no. You didn't decay it. Okay. It's not. I didn't know that. I didn't know that. The crew flashed up the board trying to help me out. I didn't know that. 1 to three in favor of Colgate, one 43 and a half to one 44 and a half is the total. What say you? Yep. I am betting on a toothpaste for a Mimmin T fresh rubber. I am in Colgate right here.

I set them as 6-point favorites. This Boston UT meds a really bad combination. They're a really slow team. They're outside the top 3 title terms of total possessions per game and they're a bottom 30 team and turns a point to loud on a perp a session basis. at home. Boston use actually a really good three point shooting team. In the home games, they shoot about 40.6% for three, but Colgate is a good three point shooting defense away from home. Team shoot just 30.8% from three points. That's a top 40 market off college basketball. And with Boston, you they're just absolutely giving it up outside the top three air with regards to opponents to point shooting percentage at home. Boston, you wait from top 90 team in terms of two point shooting percentage. Boston, you not a team that generates any turnovers whatsoever. I think that Colgate is going to be able to win that into your game. Jalen Cox, he gives you 15 points, five boards, five assists. He's most complete player in this game. So with Colgate, I like they should have been a six point favorite ball into lay the number here with Colgate. I'm upset with myself about that Colgate question that I mean, they're only in the NCAA tournament every single year. It

feels like I'm seeing someone first round of the NCAA tournament take seven and a half points with Colgate every year. That's what it feels like. All right. Next up Greg, we got Wagner at Long Island Seahawks at the sharks. Shark more powerful animal. Therefore they are favored by 10 points. Obviously Seahawks not even a real bird, by the way. That's right. Yeah. They're just, yeah, it's fake. Greg, where are you looking at this game? And at a 10 plus I would be willing to take the points here with Wagner. We've got to give them those points because man, when you're a Seahawk, you need all the help that you can get against a shark. But that said, I think that the sharks are going to be able to help you. I'll pick time with the total. I like the overs. You've got two great three point shooting teams in this one. Wagner away from home shoots about 39.5% from three points. That is a top 10 mark and all of college basketball Long Island at home. They shoot above 37% from three points. Top 70 mark in the country. And you get lots and lots of second chances in long Island games. They ranked orange 64th in the country terms of defense of rebound percentage. So opponent scrabble out of second and third chances. They themselves on their over 34% of their misshots

as an offensive rebound. That's a top 35 mark in the country as well. Long Island a little bit more of a mid tempo team. Wagner is playing a little bit more slowly. But Wagner, again, one of those defenses. That's not very efficient. Hovering right around about 275th, 276th in terms of points allowed on a per possession basis. So I'm looking at the over. I was seeing that more wrong 134. I have 135 overnight up to 137 and long Island versus Wagner. But still, like it here. All right. We're going to get to the third of your five. Of course, we're sitting here talking to Greg Peterson are very on G unit underscore 81 on the Twitter machine. You can find him every day over at vson.com. Drexel and Stoney Brook as we sit right now. This is minus three and a half in favor of Stoney Brook anywhere from one 32 and a half all the way to 134 out there from a total perspective. Drexel University, private university and Philadelphia Pennsylvania founded in 1891 by Anthony Drexel, who was a financier and a finale at the prison. If you were wondering the name of their mascot, because you're going to love Drexel even more now,

is Mario, the magnificent way to go. That's the name of name of their mask. Mario, the magnificent. Well done. And one thing that Drexel is not magnificent in offense. They're at the top 200 terms of points scored out of per possession basis. Pretty good at terms of being out of slow games down outside the top 335 in terms of total possession. It's great. So if you're looking for a magnificent slug, there you go right there. This total is 134. I like the under. I saw my toe more on a 126F, but either these seem shootable on the inside. Both of these seems outside the top to 80 with their two point shooting percentage on the inside. And you've got a Stoney Brook team that has honestly been able to do a relatively solid job in terms of taking care of the ball. Drexel is not Drexel is about two or 90th in the country. Terms of turn off is on a per possession basis. I was willing to lay the number here with Stoney Brook as well to go long with that under mainly because let's say that you get into a pressure spot. Drexel shoots less than 66% at the free throw line. Pretty good rebounding team, but not a team that can trust you

to be able to put points up on the board like the under in this spot between Drexel and Stoney Brook. All right, dragons and sea wolves there, man. Now I'm just getting distracted by the mascots. All right, Tarleton State Abling Christian. Where are you looking at in this one, Greg? I am looking at Tarleton State laying a point half and that over. These two teams actually played a few days ago. Tarleton State, Lossett came 73 to 59. They're going to be out for avenging. This is a Tarleton State team. That's all sorts of banged up. Likes of Dior Johnson, Chris and Backpuff, David Deoth injuries, but one thing that's consistent for Tarleton State, they're looking to pile drive the ball down low. They are number one in the country in terms of percentage of their shots that come from two point range. And Abling Christian is certainly the seventh in the country with our regard. And you've got an Abling Christian team that has been also dead by a 360 fifth out of 365 teams in terms of opponent three point shooting as well. These two teams follow a lot, but that also means a lot of free throws. Tarleton State shoots over 76% at the free time. So took Tarleton State and the over. Greg, they can get the full breakdown over the website.

But give us 15 seconds on Florida A&M and Alcorn State. Absolutely. Alcorn State outside the top 350 in terms of points allowed on a perp possession basis. It's a Florida M team that has been much more efficient here in Swack Play with the Guards are offense Charlie Ward. Yes, that Charlie Ward has things going for Florida A&M like them on the money line and like the over. Here we go. He's Greg Peterson at G UNO Square 81 every day over a season. I got baseball season around the corner. So we'll be talking baseball and Greg as well. Greg, appreciate the time, buddy. Good luck. Absolutely. And Oze Ramirez sleeper friend VP. Oh, on the way out on the way. My drop.
