We're talking tanking teams and how they could go about trying to secure that number one overall pick. You do look and you said it is a deep talent pool, Kelly-Bitlin, which is why we are getting this. How do we fix it? There is no way to fix it. The answer is there's no way to fix it. It's really not. There's nothing you could do because- I mean, the lottery is the fix, right? That was supposed to be the fix to other systems. Yeah, but it's like, you know, I've heard some people say, well, okay, then they have to, then there's a tournament at the end of the season.

1:04And then you have to win that to it. Okay, they'll still tank to get in the tournament. Right. Right. And then who cares? Look, I actually think this could change to something. But I've heard the certain point in the season. The wins are going to start counting more for these bottom teams. I just don't know how you do that in the standings. And yeah, just to kind of put a bow on this, Matt, I don't, you know, want to get your opinion too on some of these teams and how to attack them from a betting standpoint. I do think- I think some of these teams are very different, right? If the jazz are going to start that type of lineup every day, you have to play them differently than how you're going to play in nets or a wizards. You know, and then, you know, Memphis, we hit on- We hit on quickly at the end. I think they belong on this list. I'm pretty sure. But, you know, you're going to roll out Central Coward and Ty Jerome. There are another one where I think there's some young pieces that you do like there. So we'll see if they mess around and end up winning too many games. Oh, no. I did go to draft kicks this morning. Win totals were down period over there.

2:04And I just wanted to check in on a couple of these teams. Fandool did have win totals posted. None of these teams are up. Do you know the team that's not on your list that I think is at least someone interesting? Milwaukee. Okay. I think Milwaukee Chicago bowls probably a part of this conversation too. Because the writings on the wall at Yannis once out of town is going to be gone. So if you have, if you can try to play your way into at least a spot where you could get one of these marquee players and try to pull a Dallas Mavericks and get lucky and get to the top of the lottery, then I think if you're Milwaukee, you got to try to do that. I think that there's a pretty decent incentive for them to try and lose knowing what your offseason looks like, which is getting rid of your superstar. So this is, this is where this gets, this goes back to the same conversation about New Orleans. And this is where actually Milwaukee gets in a little bit of lucky spot because they would have to ship away. They're first, they're pick to Atlanta. If they had a worse record that New Orleans, but as we kind of just talked about,

3:06it's going to be very tough for them to catch New Orleans all the way down there. So yeah, I think they're a team. They're a team to keep your eye on, but that's another way. Right. I don't think there's a clear answer of how you're going to go and bet that because what's most important for them? And I don't know the, I think we could say what we think is most important for Milwaukee and what they should do. But I, you know, we don't know for sure that Yannis isn't coming back here at some point. He's made it very clear. He'd like to play still. Does his opinion change though in a week or two when losses start to rack up? They just brought in Cam Thomas, signed him the other day yesterday. I believe it was to bring him in and look, I think Milwaukee until they move, Yannis. They're going to hold on to every last little hope they have of trying to keep him, right? He's still a top five player in the NBA. The Cam Thomas move is not because of what they're building for the future. It's still a desperate move to try to bring Yannis back. So I think it's very interesting to see what we do here. Is it easier to convince Yannis to stay? If hey, we're going to have a, a top draft picked a pair with you next year,

4:07or do you want to get on the court this season and try to play? And I don't even know. Maybe you can try and theory to get back into this play and race. And because the Eastern Conference is so bad. I don't know. I think there are a team that's worth watching though. You're right. Guy Sharp plays been around since 2011 free day. I know you and Gil probably talked about all the stuff yesterday, but I can get some, some final thoughts here on what went on on Sunday. I like you. You said you didn't think that Ken Walker was going to be the Super Bowl MVP. I backed that up with bets as I had unders on Ken Walker. I had Sam Darnold MVP. So those were two losers for me in the prop market for the game. I think that the JSN stuff was the reason I didn't touch him at all.

5:09And now I didn't play any unders on him, but I certainly was never going to touch any overs. Once you get into that like 90s totals. And we're talking like 93 and a half, 94 and a half stuff like that where you were had JSN with a team that has two weeks to prepare. Whether you think that that defense for the Patriots was as good as what we actually saw or or not. You still had two weeks to prepare. You had two weeks to look at what I think with the CEOx team and they won the Super Bowl. So there's nothing to know the worry about here. But it doesn't really have a second option that you're super scared of. I mean, Cooper Cup at this point in his career is more of a possession dude. Like he's not breaking anything, not doing anything crazy. Receive Shaheed as we saw can't make a can't make any like big plays and stuff. Like he's got to be running wide open to make some catches. So I think that there was a concerted effort to try to remove JSN from the game. And it worked, you know, and like Ken Walker just had a much better game on the ground. Then I think we all thought now this was also credit to Ken Walker. He got hit in the backfield multiple times in the game and was able to bounce it outside and turn what looked like could be either a no game or a loss of one a loss of two into these 20 yard runs.

6:12It ended up making the difference in the game. And so, you know, I think all and all when you look when you look around to it. I mean, it went kind of like everyone thought it was a defensive battle for the vast majority of the game. There was some bend, but don't break on the Patriot side kept this thing close enough to where if the offense could have done anything. They would have had a chance to be in this and it just the fact of the matter was is that Seattle defense was as good as advertised. It was in the top five all season long and basically every single statistical category that you could see. They only got lit up three times all year and two of the three were against Matthew Stafford, your MVP in the Rams that have awesome playmakers all over the field. And then Baker Mayfield when that team was healthy and he was healthy. And so like outside of that, that was the only three times that defense looked vulnerable all season long. Yeah, and this was one thing. I don't think we did spend enough time on yesterday and kind of was thinking more and more about this. Actually, yesterday is that they went on defense for sure. And it's gotten a lot of the credit. Absolutely.

7:12It's deserved deservedly. So I don't know the last time Matt that I've seen a season, especially down the stretch where one team special team seemed to matter as much as Seattle's did. It was one of the, I mean, one of the difference makers in that Rams win. And and a lot was made of that. I mean, how bad the Rams were on special teams all season long out. Good Seattle was and that was kind of one of the big differences between those two. But man, even in the Super Bowl, right, punt after punt inside the five yard line. Jason Myers just drill in field goals. No problem. I just another really, really, really impressive part of the Seattle Seahawks team that I think that they treasure cherish. I think Danny told me yesterday, highest paid special teams, unit in the NFL. I think it's something that we should expect to continue. And look, if you're a backer or a fan of either one of these teams, I think we could spend this forward Matt. I don't really know that either one of these teams is going is going anywhere. If if anything, New England is just going to have to battle with some of the guys and teams that we expect to return in the AFC.

8:12But there was a lot of us, including myself, we pote holes in the schedule, we pote holes in this team all season long. I don't really know how much more I learned about them in the playoffs, right? It was, it was tough defense after tough defense after crazy weather game. Just never really felt like they truly, truly belonged in this game and Seattle kind of rolled right over them. But I think that was a, that was a snapshot of where the AFC was at the end of the season. Yeah, it was in, it's one of those things we're in this off season. They'll have to see how much they value Kenneth Walker. He's going to want to get paid. JSN is now to the point where you're allowed to get an extension on his rookie deal. They obviously have to resign him and they're going to need to do it in my opinion sooner than later, because it seems like every one of these contracts just continues to get bigger and bigger and bigger. And if you put it, if you kick hand down the road a year, then it's just going to probably cost you more money anyway on the back end. So go ahead and just get him extended and go ahead and get that locked up. So there are some moves that they have to make, but at the end of the day, if you really like your head coach, which obviously they do, you like what Darnell was able to do on the field at the quarterback position.

9:15Right then and there, that's a very good building block. And then you resign JSN. And then at that point, you move on and you start just making sure that everything else is solidified there. I think Seattle could certainly be a team that, I don't know, I'm not going to try to say back to back or anything like that, but it's going to be around, right? Like there, when you have a coach and you got a quarterback and you got a star player, things can happen. Yeah, a young defense. So for all right, I mean, there's a lot of youth in a defensive minded head coach. You always know that's where the emphasis is going to be. I think it's interesting. Real quick, and I want to get to the odds for next year. But the the kid with Walker, things kind of funny to me. It's always been a good back ever since he's got in the NFL. He's not been bad, but it's okay. He's good in the running game. He's pretty good in the passing game, past pros and weaknesses. It's been a lot, a lot's been made of that. I don't just because he won Super Bowl MVP. I don't think the Seahawks are backing up the brings truck for a running back. I don't know about you, but I feel like I've heard a lot of that in the past 24 hours. I don't think that's something that's happened. Look, is he a good, is he a good player?

10:15Sure. He's a good player. I just don't think when it all comes down to it that your money is best spent there. When you definitely need to resign. Yes. You, you really do need a wide receiver too. You do, like you do need a wide receiver. Cooper Cups fine. Cooper Cups at this point. He's a wide receiver three. He's not a wide receiver two. So you needed a wide receiver two. It's one of the biggest accomplishments. To me, it was the clear separator and YJSN should have won offense a player of the year. And honestly, why Quinn Kubiaks getting a lot of love? Yeah. Everybody knew it was their one weapon all season long. They didn't really add to it ever. Besides Cooper Cups. Okay. I like AJ Barner, but you know, it's not like he's overly utilized in the offense. In every game, every team knew it was coming. And he still went out there and put up massive stat lines. Yeah. I mean, it was, it was every single week. And I think that if you, you started, like said, the defense is kind of there. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's hard to see how this team at least doesn't have some success moving forward. Yeah. Maybe add an interior offensive lineman.

11:15If there was any weakness to this team at all, there was a little bit of pressure coming up the middle, unsamed Arnold and stuff like that. So maybe add it, an interior lineman. But I mean, maybe you take care of that in the draft. You know, so it's a good spot to be if you're seeing. Yeah, I'll go. Like you can, you take care of that in the draft. So maybe this is just kind of where, where we're at right now is Seattle, at least for the next two or three years. Team, we're going to have to talk about it. We'll talk about these odds on the other side. But I think big question is who, who else belongs in this conversation? Next year was Seahawks and Rams because they are clearly above everybody else. Let's look at the AFC and FCN Super Bowl odds. Maybe some MVP will come out. You're here because you want an edge. That's what separates listeners from winners. But let's be real mindset alone doesn't get bets home pros win because they've got the tools, the data and the discipline. 14:19he's our left tackle. We're not moving Will to guard or center to tight end or anywhere else. Okay. I will say, uh, another getting, he's getting his, uh, his flowers here across the, the Twitter verse right now is Will Campbell came out today just on his own and apologized for not talking to the media after the game and said, that's on me. Sorry, I didn't, after a bad game, I didn't want to say something that I was going to regret. And so, but being a young kid and all of that, he did and came out and apologized and said he should have done it, should have stepped up and talked to the, talked to the media. Man, I, you know, you, you can all have your own judgment. The Campbell PR team, though, is doing a hell of a job here in the past 24 hours. I got to say the right things. And if you can, if you can hint at an injury, be in the mix, that's great. Um, speaking of text message, I was, text, I was not expecting to get a very young Steve Cohen, letting me know that he owns two cocktails. One is 24 and one is 25. Well, then this is the, the, why are they stealing the center record? Yeah, I was going to say,

15:20like, one, let's keep them alive. And two, why is this, what does it tell me they only look to be 15 years old? Not, not everybody is, is as great of a bird care as Steve Cohen, the good, the, the, the, the Google machine is letting me down right now. But anyway, it's a, it's a, they're in the Cockatoo family endemic to Australia, apparently. Okay. Unless that's fake too. I don't know, maybe Steve can tell that to us. This is all wrong. And the Google's lying to me. The AI has taken over and has changed all the information. Oh, man. We can't, we can't even get good cocktail information anymore around here. And so this was another exercise where we got information on Saturday that the Falcons are going to cut Kirk cousins, right? So that means Kirk cousins will probably be a starter in the NFL next year. I guess you will probably be a starter in the NFL or on the Vikings. So I kind of have narrowed it down to two teams that I

16:22think are the only two teams that make sense for him. Okay. One of which is the Vikings, the homecoming thing. Yep. Yep. The other makes a lot of sense, right? It does. We can joke about it, but it makes a lot of sense in the other being the Colts. I think those are the only two teams that make sense for him because you're not going to any of the other bottom feeder teams. Like he, he's not going to choose to go to the Jets. You know, to say like he's never making that choice at this point in his career to go to the Jets. There's still holdups in Miami because you got to move to a, right? Like that's not a given that they're going to do that. Okay. In theory, if him or Kyler get moved though, you think those are spots that's as best say the prob and Arizona is you got to move Kyler. The talk amongst all Super Bowl week was from the beat reporters for the Cardinals was that the trademark. It seems very, very soft for Kyler. And so I asked you all this yesterday. Yeah. In theory, all things created equal. You'd rather have two or you'd rather have Kyler. At least Kyler is mobile. Yes. This is where I went to too. I answered Kyler. Gilly answered to

17:23him. At least Kyler is mobile. Yep. So there is, there's at least something. I agree. There with that. I think I think there are worse retread quarterbacks that we see on a yearly basis than what Kyler Murray could be. So what else? But the problem is he's both of them have huge contracts and they're going to be hard to move. Yep. And so of the teams that need quarterbacks that you, that you could honestly see him choosing because I believe Aaron Rogers retires. So it's the Steelers. It's the Colts. And it's the Vikings because they might want to rethink the J.J. McCarthy experiment, right? And so if I'm him, I'm going to the Colts. But I guess if you are promised the gig in Minnesota, then that becomes a real option as well. I'm staying away from the Steelers like no matter what. You'd be more likely promised that job if Aaron Rogers actually, you're going to division with the Ravens and the Bengals as it is anyway. You're going on organization that is like expects you to win even though there's not a ton of talent on that team. Right. Unfair. Yeah. Exactly. So it's just like to me play outside in the cold.

18:27I was just, I was waiting for you to stop. Minnesota Indianapolis indoors indoors in Pittsburgh. Sounds really cool. Well, as you get older too. I mean, you probably prefer to play all your home games indoors. I always think so. What about I'll throw one random one for it. What want to share for a team that, you know, got some talent. Houston, get a bring up and bring in anybody to put a little pressure on C.J. Stroud going forward. I don't think you can do it this year. But I definitely think it has a mediocre year that it could be over. Yeah. But but like he wasn't bad two years ago. And so it's kind of like you have in the offensive line was so bad this year. Yeah, it was. I mean, it's been bad for. Yeah. For past. Coffin time is so bad. And then, you know, you, you still make the playoffs anyway. You can't really give the performance. You didn't have Nico Collins out there. I don't know. It's I don't think you do this. I lean that way too. I would imagine though that the patience has got to be wearing thin and Houston, right? It's just tough to look on the other side of the ball and see how good that defense is and just that you can't get anything going with the offense.

19:31I will say though, like if you look, if if I do believe that the the culture is big, like an actual real contender to get Kurt Cousins who by the way proved me wrong, like big time. Like I thought he was going to flame out whenever he had to take over in Atlanta for pinnocks. I thought for sure he was going to flame out. I mean, there are 350 in that division. The Texans are your favorite over the Jags. The Titans are a non like basically a non team. So you're getting 155, 180 and then 350 on the Colts in a division that the Colts were probably going to win if Daniel Jones doesn't get hurt. Like I think that's an interesting bet for me. Just kind of in a long term deal and like 350s enough for me to be interested in locking up money for a long time. Like that's about that's about the cutoff for me. Like if I'm getting three and a half to one of my money. Sure. I'll lock up three now. Yeah. We'll run through those where you see in division odds at right now. Over on the old DK machine. Oh, well, okay. They just posted those today. I guess stuff wasn't up yesterday when I was looking. All right.

20:35We'll dig into more of those later. I think that's interesting because the Colts were the team. Just when we were looking at AFC odds yesterday, we're, you know, 22 to one. Like they were the team were all like kept asking Gil. Like did we kind of forget what they looked like at the beginning of the season with Daniel Jones and how good they were. Like this was a team that I was very off on. I didn't know. It did not expect Daniel Jones to look that good and this team to look that good. But man, 22 to one. I'd much rather have a piece of them over this day compared to the Steelers at the same number. It would definitely be the Colts for me there. Well, yeah. The other thing too about this Kelly is just the fact that you're, you're still getting. So you're going to get you're going to get salt. Remember they traded for sauce gardener. Yeah, right. That too. Like, so you got sauce gardener who will then at that point have a whole offseason to kind of understand what they want to do from a defensive philosophy and all that. I'm imagining that they're going to look to get a little help at the receiver position. But you have pitman at one and you still have Jonathan Taylor running back. You got to really, you got to get offensive line. I think that there is some upside to be had. I don't think Kurt

21:37Cousins obviously is the greatest quarterback in the world. But I don't know if you have to be to win that division with, I mean, you're, you're basically just trying to overcome the Texans defense. You're not worried about the offense at all. And then are the Jags going to really repeat what they did this year? Maybe they will. Maybe they may be Liam Cohen's awesome. And maybe you know what, man, I believe it more this year than I ever have in the past that the Jags kind of convinced me by the end of last season. And yeah, I, it, look, it's a very question whenever we talk about the Jacksonville Jaguars. But I think we're talking about a different team now. We really think we are. Texans defenses is amazing. We know that can they add anything to the offensive side of the ball? We'll see. But yeah, I'm with you, man. If we'll go through more division odds as a week ago, what week goes on? But I'd plus 350. I'm with it. That was the first team that jumped out, jumped off the board. We were looking at these yesterday. I couldn't believe they were as long as they've got sauce gardener, char various ward like you've got like some, you got some guys over on the defensive side. Buckner's still there, Latu is still there. And then the offensive side. I mean, listen, Pittman, Taylor offensive line was great this year.

22:37I'll tell you. So that division, you said earlier, Texas plus 155, Jags plus 180, Colts plus 350. The one that still seems too short on the enemy is the Titans plus 750. That should be double digits, right? I should be 10 to 111, 12 to 11. Those are three, I think those are three good teams are going up against it. What did the Titans show? 23:41the big 10 student athlete issues commission, which I was unaware was a thing. I am looking over at one of Matt's three screens because he's cool as three screens. I'm looking over there and that looks like six paragraphs. Yes, there's a lengthy letter from the big 10. The big 10 student athlete issues commission. I will not read the entire letter to you. I'll just give you the gist and that is that they are that they are asking and trying to get people to continue the talks of either limiting or eliminating altogether collegiate prop betting. So the the student athlete association here for the big 10, which again, we did not know was an actual organization, but are trying to urge leadership to continue the conversations of limiting and or eliminating prop betting and the collegiate ranks. And here's the thing with me. I understand that banning something isn't necessarily always going to work. Yes, it'll push things to bookies or

24:44to offshore or whatever it might be. Kelly, I've actually though gone on record multiple times I do like the limiting thought of and I know everybody goes, you know, these books already have so much of an advantage over so we don't want to limit these things. But when it comes specifically to collegiate athletics and collegiate props, that is the only time that it ever makes sense anymore for there actually to be shenanigans at a more prevalent rate than than just like your one-offs that we're getting randomly every every now and then in some of the sports out there because college kids, while I know we live in the NIL era, that is still only the dudes at the top. Right. Like the dudes at the end of the bench might like get a gift card to the hamburger joint or something or whatever or something, but like they're not making real money and those dudes can be got to say, do we really care if the limits 500 bucks on these things? Like do we really, I mean, is that really going to make everybody so mad if we just put like caps on what you can bet on collegiate props? Like I think it what's better for the industry probably should be

25:48something we should be talking about more than just like, oh, here we go, start limiting everyone and things are going to go downhill. But it's, I think that's at least a good compromise as opposed to again, eliminating them all together, which is what they might be asking for. Yeah, it's these are the athletes. These are the kid athletes that are asking for this. It's tough. I don't really know what the right answer is here. And you know, what makes it tough is I know, I know that I would have stronger opinions about about some of these things that because I have and things that we've discussed in the past when they encroach on my betting behavior, right? This is not something college basketball props, college football props are not something that I am usually going in week in a week out betting. So yeah, there's a large part of me that wants to agree with everything you said. I take away the temptation from the kids, from the players, get themselves in trouble. I think it makes a lot of sense. I would imagine other people after from feeling so and I understand that. Yeah, the other and really, and it's, I know it's unfortunate. This really is only a basketball thing. Like it's just like, it's really only a basketball thing. I mean, you know, collegiate

26:50quarterbacks are all making, and I don't know, it doesn't matter where you're at, they're all making good money. So like they're not going to get compromised outside of that. There's no props. They're really matter, right? I mean, and it's certainly, we don't even do props basically in baseball and collegiate baseball. So this really is just a basketball issue. It's just a basketball problem. And I understand it's, it's, it's, it sticks to have to let go in and, and make a rule for one sport. But at the end of the day, this is where 80% of all of the shenanigans are happening. Yeah, yeah. I think the other thing gets tougher. Yeah, it's something probably needs to be done about. I think the other thing it's tough is we could have a lot of this. We could have seen coming, right? Or we saw coming like this is, I think a lot of us expected at some point, there'd be problems. It doesn't, it doesn't take geniuses to figure out, hey, if I, you know, miss a couple shots, you know, throw a couple things and tell some buddies, they can make some money, money over it. But you know, at the same time, I'll raise my hand. It's not like we were sitting here at the beginning when all this stuff was getting legalized and saying, whoa, whoa, whoa,

27:51maybe we should be careful with these. Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see where this goes. And I'd be okay with that, Matt. I would be. Kelly Jim gives us the goods here. So Jim over on Twitter says, lose relay is where the rider goes down and then pushes a keypad at the bottom, then the next one goes. So it is the like a relay race. You just push a little. So in these kind of like worst of first scenarios or these teams that are not very good going up and winning divisions and stuff, I think the Giants are going to be pretty close to one of the teams at the top of my I agree with you. They'll definitely be one. I'll be monitoring here as well. I have feeling I'll be showing some interest too. I think I mean, look, Washington's got a ton of questions coming back. Right. If you're looking to back the Knicks, Mitchell Robinson will be out of this game. And the Pacers have McConnell, Neesmith, both both listed as questionable, going to see where this stuff goes. I think that Knicks money line could be a good parlay lead tonight, though. And that's something that I will be keeping in mind waiting to see where injury news goes. Yeah, that only jumps out to me, though. I just bred through it. Pacers team has no interest in playing offense recently. This totals at 225, 225 and a half. This Knicks defense has been absolute shut down recently. Feels a little high would be a link to the under as well.
