0:00Consumers now have a new government agency to complain to when they feel they've been a victim of shady financial practices. This is a money minute from in-charge education foundation in militarymoney.com. Consumers can now submit gripes about financial products to the consumer financial protection bureau or CFPP. The CFPP supervises banks, credit unions, and other financial companies and will enforce federal consumer financial laws. Their job is to ensure that consumers get the information they need to make the best financial decisions for themselves and their families. Complaints can be filed at the bureau's website or by mail, fax, or a toll-free number. The new agency will roll out various services and phases. Services include a hotline for distressed homeowners, straightforward information on student loans, and help for service members and veterans. The website allows consumers to submit a credit card complaint, check on complaint status, or get help with other products. This money minute is made possible by in-charge debt solutions.
