I'm always talking about AI. I'm always using AI. I'm always looking into AI. There's a problem though. England, the UK, Britain. Once it has an ambition to be the global leader in AI regulation.

2:06Not the global leader in AI. Not everyone uses AI in of itself. You can use AI to improve health and medicine. You can use AI to improve exercise routines. You can use AI to do... There's some really stupid research they do at PhD level in universities. I know someone who, one of his tasks, one of his articles, he had to write. He... Oh, squeaky, squeaky table. That could be an interesting PhD or not. Anyway, so someone I knew, someone I know had to... This was before AI and before the internet and everything. Had to count how many times a certain letter or number appeared in a particular sort of number of publications of something. I mean, that's how ridiculous PhD often is.

3:07Postgraduates have to do all kinds of ridiculous things. The thing is you get AI to do it now. AI will count, will cross-check. AI will produce a reference list, a bibliography. They will cross-reference lots of different data sets to find what it is you're looking for. And it saves time. The human then has to go and check. Part of the ethics of AI is there has to be a human at the end of it, sort of checking what the AI is doing. But basically you can use AI for all kinds. Lots of people, businesses have a... What they call a back office, which is run by AI, rather than having two or three people at a desk checking things. The AI is doing everything. That is now normal procedure. So it's not that... You know, some people, yes, they're focused on making AI better.

4:09Other people, they're just using AI to make whatever the industry is better. But one thing for sure, yes, you have to have regulation. But the ambition of the UK, let's be the global leaders of AI regulation. How sad and pathetic is that? That's not ambition. That's the opposite. Whatever that is. Whatever you call the opposite of ambition. Lethargy, maybe, I don't know. Indifference, it's... Aloofness, it's just terrible. So, Stecker Auto, that's the name of the X-Page, says, Dacia, that must be a company that makes cars. 5:10Europe has already lost three million sales since 2019 because new vehicles got too expensive. And this is a reply to Erling, who sort of says the same thing, one quarter of the total research and development budget, as well as the engineering capabilities now flows solely into meeting emissions and safety regulations and there's a button that sort of disables all of that. And this is the same with the UK, the government is spending a lot of time and energy trying to make phones safe for children. First of all, children shouldn't have phones or they should have phones and parents who are supervising them. But the idea, well, forget that. Forget the independent thing. Forget the fact that kids need to have phones. If that's one argument, not my argument, that's one argument. Another argument is that there needs to be parental responsibility. Forget all of that.

6:11We will build it into the phone. So forget about parental oversight. The phone has to do it. The company that owns the phone has to do it. And that's what this government in the UK is focused on. Basically, we will do it so that the phone keeps the child away from what they shouldn't be seeing and what is happening is that all of the rules and the regulations are just making it more and more difficult for companies to make any money. So whether it's the European Union or Britain, we become like just a regulatory market. We don't do anything or sell anything. We just regulate it. Whatever it is, it really is bad when you're spending so much of your time. But at the end of the day, there's a disabled button. And that's what the government says about a lot of these things with phones. There is like an opt out.

7:13You either have to opt out or opt in. But the point is that there will be a button to disable the whole thing. So simple question. What is the point?
