Although Kyiv cancelled events amid fears Russia might carry out missile strikes, the country quietly but resolutely celebrated its history, its culture, and its resilience in the face of a formidable threat. President Zelensky has reiterated his stance that the war will not end until Ukraine regains every bit of territory lost to Russia, including Crimea.
