Christmas is all about Jesus. When Jesus came, he brought light (hope) to the world. We no longer live in the shadow of death - there is hope that people could live the life they were meant to live, now, and in eternity: A light has dawned! However, the light is not DONE. Jesus' incarnation was the beginning, the dawn, of the light. But, now, we live in a place of tension, where darkness and light are at war with each other, in our lives and our world. In this time of tension, we can experience pain become weary. However, the amazing thing about light is it can never be overcome by darkness. Not all the darkness in the universe could extinguish the light of a single flame.
