Did you know that we've actually had flying cars since the 70s? Introducing you to the AV Myzar. The problem is that it just never took off. Get it? But it's also a classic story of a founder that was killed by their starter. Does it look like a car with some wings attached to it? Well, that's exactly what it is. That's an actual car attached to the rear part of a Sesson Skymaster. The coolest innovation that these guys made was that you could potentially attach this to any car. And, well, they chose a Fort Pinto. On August 26th, they were taking off their airport. They were doing a test. And their right wing strut broke. But the test pilot that was on the plane understood what to do. He knew that he just didn't have to turn the plane. And if he managed to do that, he could land safely. And he did a couple of weeks later, the actual founders were running the test. That other test pilot wasn't available for some reason. Same thing happened, and they just didn't manage what to do. They crashed and both passed away.
