Created for Marvel as part of a fan write-in, at first Venom was just written in as a simple 'mistake' in Spider-Man's costume. 4 years later, we find out that he was actually a sentient creature that had been brought into this world.
Spider Dan tells us all about these origin stories and what he loves about the character. We also learn Dan's own origin story! As the name of his podcast, 'Spider Dan and the Secret Bores' is forever linked to these events.
