About this episode
The Fauna Foundation is located in Carignan, Québec and is Canada’s only chimpanzee sanctuary. It’s a place of refuge for not only chimpanzees, but monkeys, domestic animals and farm animals as well. Mary Lee Jensvold, the Associate Director and Primate Communication Scientist at the Fauna Foundation, joins Earth Care to walk us through what a day looks like when operating an animal sanctuary! Mary Lee also discusses what we can do to support the chimpanzee population.
