The spirit of this revolution is not going away. This is the Ron Paul Liberty Report with Ron Paul, Daniel McAdams and Chris Rossini. We're all ambassadors of the Ron Paul doctrine and it's us, just tell the truth. And I'm in the meantime, it's come to not stop by any army for any government. Hello everybody and thank you for tuning into the Liberty Report. With us today we have Chris Rossini, our co-host Chris. Welcome to the program. Great to be with you Dr. Paul. Good to hear you, boys and it's good for you to join in again today because I think we're going to talk about an issue similar in a way or a follow-up or an expansion of what we talk about. Yesterday we were impressed negatively speaking.

The 89% of the American people think government is corrupt. That's sad. I cannot be that bad. Does that mean that that amount that many people, how do people almost are corrupt? No, it just means that the people's perceptions are that the people that end up running our lives, running the monetary system, policing the world, you know, are not doing a very good job. And they think they're very corrupt and that there's a self-interest involved. But today we have another example. It's not exactly the same type of fraud that we talked about yesterday. Matter of fact, we don't, we're only talking about somebody that says they're going to commit fraud and they're trying to get people to join in. Of course, that's the announcement yesterday that occurred at the so-called rally up in Dallas.

The Republicans are going to get together because I don't know whether this is a sign of positive position for the election. Or whether it's a sign of, you know, desperation. Because the president spoke and he spoke in his usual manner. He had a few positive things to say about himself. And he promised $5,000 for everybody. I'll tell you why. You know, I used to think that if I got my, if I got my social security and all that money came in and it was a mixed black thing, they stole it from me once. And so I thought it'd be a good idea to use that kind of money just to buy, you know, silver and gold. But when he offered $5,000 and if I get to $5,000, I thought, what am I going to do? I don't want to go out. And you know, I think this is a big deal. And the system is working and I'm participating.

What I wanted to do, I started pricing that. So what if I wanted to turn into a hard asset and sort of, you know, make a little fun of this, this money coming to $5,000, I said, it just barely buys and out some gold. It's just going to give everybody an out some gold. You know, imagine somebody estimated this is going to be a trillion dollar deal. But they don't know. And you know, it's like returning the money they took off on tariffs. Where does the money go? Oh, we overcharge and of course says, you know, a lot of have have all this tear of money. You have to return it. So they do. They, the government listen, they return it. But they return it to the business man and to the people who are running the show. The people who paid it, the individuals had to pay, you know, for these tarot. So it's, it wasn't a very good system. But what the big question we have, Chris, is this a good idea?

And you know, I'm going to step over my reservation. And I'm going to say, well, I think you're going to Chris disagree with this idea of making everybody rich. And I will see you know, but I want to, I want to say just mention that once again is related to what we talked about yesterday. And that's a corruption in government. And this whole idea that they can do this. And I feel people have asked, where is he going to get the money? That was the first thing I asked, where is he going to get the money? Well, where they always get the money. They write treasury bills. And it's unlimited. The world loves the dollar. The dollar is good right now. But you compare it to other time. So people say, well, we, we know how to take care of that. We have the central bank of the world. And we'll just bring up some treasury bills and start using those. And everybody's going to be happy. Well, it's not going to work that way. I think the size of the wall or that, you know, if yesterday 89% of the people thought government was corrupt.

I'm looking for the positive. And I guess Chris, my positive is that maybe there's 92% of the American people now are awake and think government is corrupt. Chris. That's right. Dr. Paul. Yes, the president is in a hole of his own making. The poll numbers are terrible. He's in a war that he lost that he just wants to drag out yesterday. We were starting to hear that maybe he'll go to the end of his term. Boy, now then he won't have to admit that he lost if he if it goes past his term. And in this environment, he's now going into bribery for the election. He's promising $5,000 dividend. He's going to lose it for every American adult. And we all know what a promise from Trump is worth. That's why he's in this mess because he broke all his promises. And now he's just putting these ridiculous ideas out. And again, there's no dividend. There is no surplus. They have no money. They're 40 trillion in debt. You can't call this a dividend. But he did it before with the tariff dividend, which also did not come.

So, and there's no dividends. But you know, who did get money back corporations, got billions. So they did well. And the question we have is maybe the Democrats should get involved in this. Maybe they should offer $6,000 if they win the election. But they should get a bribery bidding war with our money for our votes. This is why America has come to. And it's pretty sad. But again, he didn't have to do this to himself, to our country, but he chose to. And this is the result. You know, the measurement of the fraud in government by the people is a mixed bag because I think there's a lot of misunderstanding of what's going on. Because most people are against the fraud because they're against their neighbors stealing money from them. And they are against the fraud when somebody is running a government program, food stamps or whatever. And they take kickbacks and they take money and they misdirect it. And that's where there is a lot of fraud. And it shouldn't have been happy that people should be punished. But it's a reflection of, you know, the system.

I mean, obviously, the biggest fraud is the one that is not recognized as casual fraud because some people would say that the system, even the system that we have now, even if there's a law that says that you have to have the food program or the medical programs. They exist. And then it's the fallacy of the individual that breaks those laws. But the big difference is that I don't believe those programs should exist. So they're using, they're using something where they're justified by a positive law. The government says there's going to be food stamps and all these programs. And no matter what happens, we have to send it out to the people. But they have a positive law because the Congress rubber stamped it and said, yes, this is what we have to do. We have to take from this person and give it to the other. And, you know, make a perfect social system by through taxation and all these programs.

So that, that to me is quite, quite a bit different because I think that there should be a distinction between the positive law that is written by government, which is not positive at all. You know, I think it's a negative system, but they call that the positive law because the government wrote the law. But something like we are hearing more and more, especially in this administration, and maybe we could say that to fulfill the promises made today by giving everybody $5,000. But there's not even a positive law that is being banned. It's just one of those things that's happening. So it is going to encourage more people to be cynical because, you know, there will be a fair number of people that will believe this and will be hopeful in waiting for their check. Well, if they do get a check, it's probably going to be worth about $3,500 because the money will be constantly devalued.

So this is something that people have to have to realize. And I think the honesty has to come ultimately from individuals who believe in and want to practice the principles of natural law where nobody, even if you're in a government, you're not allowed to lie or cheat or steal or defraud, counterfeit or all these things would be prohibited under natural law. The big thing is, is natural law depends on personal morality. And of course, people could use a dose of that now and then. So I think Chris, this is another problem, but I'd like to hear your take on it. Yeah, Dr. Paul, you mentioned if this was to happen, and I would not get my hopes up, but if it was, it would cost the government 1.2 trillion dollars, like you mentioned, Dr. Paul, which is insane amount of money that they do not have. And it's very similar to the COVID stimulus. I think it was around that as well and look at what that did and look who fought against that representative Massey stood up and boy, did he get the slings and arrows and all the names, even from Republicans, that matter.

And he was right, he said, this is going to create massive inflation and it did. But people they wanted their checks because they don't understand the cost that comes with that check. So you may say to yourself, I'm Chris, don't you want $5,000? Yes, I do. I would love a $5,000 check on its own, but the cost of it would be much, much worse. I don't want my bills to go up anymore. This is insanity. I don't want my electric bill tripled. That's an, I don't want more money driving up prices again because that's what it would do. This is, there's no free lunch. Yes, I would want a $5,000 check just like everybody else, but you got to think beyond the moment. And that's what representative Massey does and it just shows you that most people do not know he did, you know, but most people want that check and then what happens later. And then we'll complain later, you know, but it's too late. You know, the check already does the damage. You know, in an ongoing campaign right now, there's terms thrown out about we have to stop so and so because he's a socialist or he's a communist or he's a fascist and they go on and on.

And they use the words carelessly and then they also I think have achieved the opposition achieve a political victory by pretending that, you know, that the left is now accused of Republicans or being socialist and fascists and all these other things. But I think a definition is important because the words they throw around are very common and there's there's a difficult. It's a difficult thing to find a place that practice anything in purity, but there's, you know, there are definitions of socialism and we have some socialists who say they're socialist coming into our government and there's people who, you know, never say they're fascists, but they are fascists and they also are people winning elections and deep down their heart, they're communist, but you don't know exactly what they understand by this.

So there's so many terms like that to get thrown around. But I think the one thing that has been achieved in a negative fashion is the fact that the system we have today is assumed to be a reasonable expression of go to fashion capitalism. And that's where we go wrong because we do not have capitalism in this country and what we have is interventionism, which is arbitrary. And it also appeals to and engages a lot of people who are in the corporate business and it's called corporatism. So the corporations, the big business people and the big banks become allies and partners with the government. And that connection there and serving their own self-interest is the one thing that people have to realize and realize how dangerous it is. But some people say, yeah, we want to get rid of all those rich guys. We've got to take the money from the rich, but you know what? I bet you the number of rich people in this country, fortunately, I believe that they're more numerous and have earned the money, honestly.

But it's the dishonesty, use of the government to get money directly from the government, or get to use the system or be on the dole. People in the military and complex realizing there is no necessity for us to be in a war in five different places in this country right now, thousands of miles away. And I think that is where the real problem is. And it isn't anybody who's rich. So people should be distinguishing between the two. Of course, a good libertarian constitutionless would probably sort it out and treat people all the same by getting rid of most of the taxes and the regulations that the special interests put on. And that's a big job. And that's why we're in a big mess. And we're looking for people who might identify what they believe in, not socialism and communism and fascism.

It is, you know, it is corporation, it could corporatism. And I think the word constitutionalist is a good word too, because if you are strict constitutional, it's a very deadly Christian point of the eye. And I, the strongest constitutionalist defending and expressing these fears, these experts expressing these ideas, Thomas Massey and look how he was treated. So there's that is a system that has to change. And I am still confident that, you know, even our elections are fraudulent. Who knows what happened because the numbers of Thomas's rate doesn't, they don't make sense, but I don't have any evidence of anything on stealing. I've had personal experience with how people treated me the first time I ran and didn't have the biggest idea that he had to watch the polls. And so it is, it is something that very, very good. We need, we need more individuals that are willing to say, I believe in the Constitution. That's the only oath I take when I take oath of office.

Everybody takes the oath, but how many people will care? That is a tragedy. And if you take the oath of office, that means you wouldn't be going to war without a declaration. Millions of lives would be saved if we would have followed that position. And that is why these debates and the technicalities are important. People are waking up. Hopefully we can offer some guidance in the guidance. We'll be back to the understanding that the founders tried to give us. I think the fantastic Dr. Paul, I'll finish up with my closing thoughts. Before that, just a couple of things. Tomorrow, Dr. Paul is scheduled to interview our sponsor of our show, Phil Patrick from Birch Gold. And then Monday, a lot of people will be happy. I'm sure Daniel will be back with Dr. Paul. He took a little break after the great conference that he put on in Virginia. So that's just a little housekeeping there. And my last word is yes, America needs a big reset, not in the reset of the globalist sense, but politically, monetary economically, we need a renaissance here.

And it doesn't look like we're voting out of it, even Thomas Massey, who we've been talking about, wrote on X, we're not voting our way out of this. So what does that leave us? Well, empires go bankrupt. They're going to go bankrupt. How, well, they're doing how we talk about every day, you know, everything that they do is just speeding up the demise of their system. And they know how their bankruptcy will look either. Otherwise, they would be able to prevent it. They're not going to be able to prevent just like they didn't know that Iran would bring them to their knees by closing the street of for moose and doing what they have done, shocking them with all of this endless supply of missiles. So, but if you look at our government and listen to them, they portray themselves as being omnipotent or powerful. They know everything. They're everything that happens in the world. You hear them, we're keeping a very close eye on it very closely. They don't know, they don't know this is all like the Wizard of Oz, the guy behind the curtain.

And that's the key. And that's what brings down every single empire. We have that. That's our trump card. They're pun intended that every single empire has gone bankrupt with no exceptions. So they are following that, you know, it would be nice to fend them off to avoid it. But obviously they will kick everybody out, including Thomas Massey that wants to prevent their bankruptcy. So if that's what they want, that's what they're going to get. So what are we doing in the meantime, we're going to discuss the right ideas that the people will have to all of us will have to rebuild afterwards and what that's going to look like none of us know. But we have to know what we want. We have to know what is good, what is virtuous. And then the people when these people are bankrupt and have no powers left, then we can do some good in this world. Very good. You know, the question is, I ask myself and we can discuss so often, is why do the people go along with this? And most people go along with stuff or what is it, you know, coming upon them out of self interest. You know, if somebody offered me something that would enhance the position of true liberty, I would be strongly for it.

But in my self interest and the self interest of everybody I care about and care about the whole issue of peace and prosperity. But the people remain in many ways on the short term, gullible. I think this is where I'm optimistic because a lot of people are changing their minds. And I think and I put the blame back on the educational system that people are waking up in the educational system. There's more technology available. You know, with the media for us to get our message out. And I think sometimes things backfire, you take a Thomas Massey, they're going to quiet him. He's not going to be an house floor. Might turn out that he'll be allowed and productive voice, you know, in another way. So I think there's reasons to be optimistic, but it's also trying to understand because when I think of the people who go along, I think it's in self interest.

And there's nothing wrong with self interest. But I happen to believe that self interest is me working hard to have a free society and being able to express what I like following the one law that I think is important. And that is the natural law. You can't lie and cheat and steal and take things from your neighbor or use the government to do that. So that is in self interest and below it will be whole. Even if you are in business and you work for self interest and you're making an honest profit, you don't have, you don't have to do more than that. Because that can be conveyed and it can be the people will do better. I think I don't like the word and the material is don't like the word word of democracy, the dictatorship of the majority. But I'll tell you what the one democratic process that we should think about and try to see why we're in such a mess. And that is that economic exchanges, ideas changes should be voluntary. Nobody should monitor you own your own life, but you can't use violence.

It's so simple and I have a little experience for a few years talking to a lot of young people and I felt good about a lot of young people, whether we're in conservative, republican or democrat districts and all of this. People, people will respond if we have the message, we did deliver that message and we don't have to say, well, you have to sacrifice everything and don't do this. No, you could do it in self interest and their self interest is going to be a miracle for some other people. If I can maintain my own liberty, it can't be done without maintaining other people's liberty. It's a good system. The founders understood it. I hope we all get together and renew our enthusiasm for that system. Well, thank everybody for tuning in today to the Liberty Report. Please come back soon.
