Amazonプライムビデオに「ネズラ1964」（2021年）が、期間限定で公開されていたのでつい観てしまいました。生きているネズミを使って怪獣映画を作ろうとした実話を元にした映画です。平成ガメラシリーズでおなじみの螢雪次朗さんが主演です。実話通りに映画は完成しないのですが、のちに怪獣ガメラの誕生となります。古谷敏さんが円谷英二監督、佐野史郎さんが円谷一さんをモデルにした役でちょっと登場しています。ガメラつながりでマッハ文朱さんなども登場しています。一部の人には、なかなか楽しい映画でした。
