郡山市のフロンティア大使になった小説家 古川日出男さんによる文学講演会に参加してきました。「郡山を文学史に残せるか［基礎編］」というタイトルで講演でした。郡山市をメインにした小説で世界の文学を目指す、という宣言のように受け取りました。ガルシア・マルケスの『百年の孤独』をヒントにしているそうです。少し読ませていただきましたが、なかなか面白そうです。ぜひ本になって欲しいです。個人的には、古川さんのはじめての読書体験が佐藤さとるさんの『だれも知らない小さな国』と知ることができてうれしかったです。
