Emmett Johnson, Emmett Johnson of Richfield, Holy Angels fame, we chatted with him into

3:03the 2026 NFL scouting combine and now we chat with him out of him. Emmett is in Miami preparing for Nebraska's pro day and the NFL draft and they joins us now. What's going on down Miami way? You having a good time? That's our man, it's a blessing, you know, I'm blessed to be here. I'm really excited to keep training and yeah, it's been a blast. What was the combine like for you? And experience was amazing, you know, just being able to talk to all the different teams, you know, head coaches, GMs, and I don't really just talk to them, but you know, get to know them as people and also get to showcase my talent, you know, on that stage, you know, it was really fun to be able to go out there and compete, you know, I did every single test at the combine and I just wanted to show the type of competitive I was, you know, no matter how fatigued I was, I was out there doing every single test and also just trying to showcase my talent and showcase who I am as a person, he's coaches. So it was definitely a blessing man, something that I'm going to remember for the rest of my

4:06life. What if you can remember or even know, but like how many teams did you meet with, did you meet with more than half the league? Yes, sir. I met with a little bit over 20 teams, so I feel like 23, 24 teams are total at the combine. You know, I had six formals and then, you know, I met in a form with a lot of teams, so I'll say, you know, a little bit over 20 teams. What kinds of questions do they ask? Is it all football or like, do they get into your personal life? What's the approach by most teams? Yes, they talk, they talk a lot about personal life. They want to get to know you as a person, you know, I feel like most of them know, you know, what they're getting at the football player off of watching film and things like that, but they want to know what's have a player that they're bringing into their program. And I've got a lot of good feedback, you know, with that and also just, you know, it's home, tell them my life story, you know, and how I have to earn everything that I've gotten, you know, I've been over with my whole life and just explaining to them that,

5:06you know, I met a lot for me just because of my path and, you know, what it took for me to get here. So I think that my understanding that will help them realize, you know, while I play it the way that I play on the football field, share, Emmett, share, share with me and us what, just, just quickly what that path was like, like, you know, you've said it before to me off the microphone on the microphone, but I've never really asked you pointedly like this, but like that, that, that underdog type path, what, what was it like for you? Man, it was super tough, you know, I would just say growing up, you know, in the city in Minneapolis, Minnesota, like, in high school, I was super under recruited and I would always go to these football camps, I went to five different camps my senior year, and I would always just be trying to give my name out there, man, it's crazy right now if I go on Twitter, I guarantee you there's, you know, hundreds of text messages that I sent to coaches and just, I would just send them my film to them and I'm just trying to get noticed by schools and different things like that. And so that process was tough, man,

6:07it's a lot of hard days, a lot of, you know, mental, mental days where things show really, really hard and I just have to like overcome that and just show them the type of player that I was and so it was a lot of that type of stuff, you know, then getting into college and also having to breast be my only power five and not playing in college, man, it's like my whole life, people told me, you know, I wasn't good enough or I wasn't able to do this or I wasn't able to do that and I just over, I always overcame it because I worked everybody and so I feel like my, my journey is just hard work, paying off. Now, that's what's down at this point. Emmett Johnson, he's going to be drafted in a month and change in the NFL draft played in Nebraska and led the big 10 in Russian. He's on the nine to noon show. He's a Minnesota and speaking of Minnesota at the combine right before I left that there was a report that one of your earliest meetings at the combine was with the Minnesota Vikings. So without getting into the particulars, do you feel you knocked that one out of the park because

7:09I know it's your favorite team. Yeah, man, I definitely feel that one, man, I'll say, you know, I was wondering, I got to get feedback, you know, and I was, I think they're, you know, probably one of the best interviews with the whole combine based off of what the feedback I've gotten. So, yeah, man, out of the special one, you know, just, you know, let's talk to the coaches. Like I said, I watched the Vikings growing up. I got a lot of respect for O'Connell, you know, what he's doing and also on the defense side of things, you know, you know, B flow. And so it's definitely, you know, it's, it's like a full circle moment to be able to be talking to Minnesota Vikings, man. Like I said, I grew up watching Adrian Peterson play there and, you know, a whole bunch of other players, you know, Percy Harvin and so like being able to talk to them, man, it's a blessing. Like when I got into that room, in front of all the coaches and, you know, things like that, it was definitely something now, cherish forever. I got to feel a special feeling. I know God got a plan for me, you know, whether it's that's going back to Minnesota, yeah, go anywhere else, but, you know, it

8:10definitely be really, really special to come back home for sure. EJ had you met Kevin O'Connell before that meeting at the J Dub and from what you know, what you've seen, maybe not looking at a lot of all 22 yet, but like, what do you think of his offense? Yeah, man, I haven't met him like face to face before that. And I want a couple, you know, I want a couple of games and things and I've seen them, but never really met him face to face, but I have a lot of respect, you know, for him and what he does does on offense. And I feel like my skill set is something that, you know, he would definitely love. Well, I just know O'Connell is a really smart, sorry, minded guy when it comes to an offense. And, you know, he definitely want to be playing for a coach like that because he's definitely going to put me in a position to be successful. And I think I'm a type of player, you know, that will come in and be ready to dominate. And he would love, you know, to give you the ball in space and all the fun between the tackles, all the time running around. I feel like I can get the ball in different ways and should it be super explosive for the offense?

9:12It is in the enapolis, all business all the time. Or like, do you get a chance to go to say no most takeouts? For me, I was really tempting, but I didn't, you know, I didn't do any of that until after the calm mind. Yeah. And so it was really hard, man. Like I said, you know, to stand on a on a meal plan and eating the right things and all that stuff helps the performance. And I feel like that's important to me. So that's something definitely that it's a sacrifice, but, you know, that's it for the greater, but I did definitely go give me a stake after the calm mind. So like when you say, and I mean, you're rip, man, you're cut. You're very physically fit and really you always have been. So like, staying on a meal plan, what is that? Like what comprises your meals during a day? Yeah. I definitely said I drink a lot of nutrition shakes, you know, throughout the day, I like to snack on things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. There's a lot of that type of stuff, a lot of vegetables and a lot of protein, you know,

10:15chicken, steak, rice. Yeah. All those are things that I'm eating, you know, on a daily. And then just like, you know, like I said, the protein shakes and then also just the training after like, once you have the right nutrition and you try and train super super hard to get out, what you put into it. You know, I had a coach named coach Brown on Nebraska, but we talked a lot, you know, throughout my career. And he definitely would tell me to treat your life like a sponge, you know, like if you pour, you know, apple juice into a sponge, you know, it's not going to be orange juice that comes out of it, you know, it's going to be apple juice because that's what you put into it. So for me, my mindset was always been, you know, you get out what you put into it. So for me, I try to make the most out of it. And I've done, we've seen that improvements in my body while getting faster. I still, you know, was able to get stronger and, you know, gain more weight too as well. So it's a hard balance, but that's definitely something I take serious. Well, if, if peanut butter and jelly is your snack of choice, I, I can't speak for Lincoln, and I can't speak for the other 31 NFL teams, but I can tell you right now, uh, this guy me,

11:17I mean, I'll gain five pounds during the football season because all they have, they have so many uncrustables around the Vikings facility. Do you like uncrustables? Yeah, that's, that's what I'll be neurodere uncrustable. That's my go-to right here for snacks. Do you have a favorite because like, like in the stores, I mean, I don't know if you can order it online, but for the second half of the season a couple of years ago, they had these honey uncrustables. All right. So honey with peanut butter, they were unbelievable, but I mean, I sprouted a fourth chin. So fortunately, we, uh, we can't find them anymore, but if you ever had those, uh, no, I've definitely, I've never tried them. I've always had the grape jelly. You know, that's my go-to. So like, you know, definitely something I'll try, you know, but I definitely love the, that's my go-to is the grape jelly. I feel like that's on the feet and that's the best one for me. Yeah, we might have to lay out those uncrustables until the draft is done. Imagine Emma Johnson Nebraska running back. Um, you, and I don't have this in front of me. I know you led the big 10 in rushing yards, but did you lead the nation in all-purpose yards?

12:20Yes, sir. I did. I did the nation in all-purpose yards. Mm-hmm. Who's your agent? Uh, Lisa Bakari. He's, uh, he's, you've been, like I said, he's a legend in the game, man. He's somebody who, you know, has, I have a lot of respect for him. He's more than just an agent. Somebody cares about you as a person. You know, it's bigger than just football and he's had a good history of, you know, great running backs. And so I'm definitely in good hands with him. And like I said, man, it just makes my job easier to go out there and dominate and be myself. So, so what, um, what, uh, what's your role? Uh, what's the agent's role in the equation for you representing you this time of the year up to the draft? Like what does an agent do? Yes, sir. So the agents, you know, constantly in contact with, you know, NFL teams, NFL scouts and coaches and also not just that, but every aspect of my life, you know, when it comes to things like, you know, endorsement deals or people are reaching out to me, you know, those type of conversations that, uh, it would take a lot of time out of my day is,

13:22it was what he does. And so he talks to, you know, different teams about me gets feedback on things, um, you know, let's say a team wants to see me do something or work on something. He'll probably get that back to me. And then also the positives from like the interviews I've done, he's been able to tell me things like that. And then also just like set up, you know, different meetings and have a set scheduled me like right now. I'm currently meeting with a lot of different teams. And so just like having the right timeline on, you know, what day I'm on being with this team, what time I'm going to be at this team and just being structured with it all. I feel like you somebody working call on, you know, throughout the, I was in the down. Boy, that's, that's fantastic. And you know, that, that's something that a lot of people don't know is that you'll have those meetings at the JW Marriott in a Indianapolis. You'll do the drills. You got your pro day coming up. And then the draft, but in between, uh, that there are a fair amount of meetings and even some second and third meetings with teams that really nobody knows about, right? Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of meetings. There's a lot of meetings that, like I said, I think, the calm mind, man, you couldn't really walk somewhere. We're kind of seeing a coach or a scout.

14:24So it was actually like, you know, a lot of opportunities to connect with people and, you know, any chance at a scout or coach gets to get information and get to know you more, you know, they definitely take that approach. So now, you know, you, um, uh, you, your brother CJ and, and me, we're going to go to a Wolves Orlando game recently and it didn't work out. So I mean, it's, you know, as, as a timber wolf, uh, fan, and I know you're a fan too, probably best we didn't go. Uh, that Saturday, they, they, they glossed on nearly 30 to Orlando, but, um, but I didn't know that you knew Orlando Magic Guard, Jalen Sugs. How, how, how, how well do you know him and how did you guys meet? Yes, sir, man, Jalen, you know, a great friend of mine. I got a lot respect for him. I feel like just growing up in the city, you know, and both being, you know, top in the state, you know, top players. I feel like, uh, we've, we've always connected, you know, I've took time to talk with Jalen, man, he's a, he's a well-spoken guy. He's somebody who understands you know, the game well and life well as well. And so, uh, he's somebody who, you know, I've learned a little bit of things from we've been in contact. I've been supporting him. He's been

15:27supporting me. And so, you know, it was exciting to see him, obviously, you know, it was tough Minnesota loss, but it was good to see him out there playing, you know, he's dealt with some things in the past like injury. So just to see him overcome that, you know, that meant a lot, but I also like watching Minnesota, like watching Ant-Man, it's like my favorite player. So, it's definitely fun to watch. I feel like we're going, you know, we'll make a playoff on Destiny. I feel like we'll win it this year for sure. Okay, now wait a second. You're in Miami. We both love the NBA. Bam at a bio went for 83 points last night. In South Beach. Did you see any of it? Yeah, I definitely did. And it was crazy because I went to the game the other day when they played against the pistons. And so it was just like the game. I didn't go through this man dropped 83. It would have been crazy to win this in person, but I think you know, they play a Lakers tomorrow night too. So I'm thinking about going to that one, but if not, man, I'll definitely want to catch a playoff game or something in Minnesota, you know, if we get some time, I'll be the game with the definitely go watch. That's 100%. I'll take care of that. When you were at the

16:28combine, did you happen to meet a man named Bucky Brooks with NFL network? And I asked because Bucky ranked you as the second best running back out of all of them after the combine, which I think is pretty cool. And I know you're super competitive, man. And you're like, okay, well, that's cool, but I'm the best running back coming into the draft. But nevertheless, at NFL.com, man, you know, when you're second behind a guy who might go in the top 10 top 15, that's pretty cool. Yeah, sir, man, I was able to meet him on physically, but I definitely did see that. And like I said, you know, it's cool to y'all, but you know, my eyes, I'm top two, and I'm not two. And I got restricted other players and stuff like that. So I'm not really going to get into that. But yeah, man, it's a blessing to see my name on there. Like I said, I overcame a lot of things. I don't think I was ranked, you know, outside the top 20 running back coming into college football season. I don't think I was ranked top 10 in the big 10. So like I said, I've just been proving people, you know, wrong my whole life. And that's just another part of my

17:28chapter. Like when I get to the NFL, you guys will see, man, I'm not just trying to be another player. I'm trying to be the best ever play the game. Like I'm trying to dominate. And so the competitive standpoint, like it's something that some still to me and I'm never going to lose that my whole life. So I'm definitely ready to dominate this NFL. Whatever team gets me to, I promise you, you guys won't regret it. Who, um, um, who's this Mike Washington Jr. from Arkansas. And the reason I asked is he ran a 4 3 40 and that was best of all the running backs. What, uh, what do we need to know about Mike Washington Jr. Who's he? Yes, sir. He had a great, you had a great combine, man. Um, first size definitely too, man. He was really explosive out there and things like that. You've got to watch some of his film and things like that. You're a player. Man, he played really well. It's your Arkansas. And I got a lot of respect, uh, filling guys who they play well. And so, uh, yeah, he's somebody I got to meet, you know, over the whole week, you know, it was a solid, solid person, uh, a good person to talk to. So yeah, I'm really excited for him too. And, you know, hope he has success in his future.

18:29Well, you knew you, um, um, Emma Johnson, nine to noon, just a few to close here. Uh, uh, yeah, and, and you know, this is super key, man. And, and it's good to know that you naturally and authentically are good at it. And what I'm talking about is that this comp, that, this group of running backs at the combine, okay, collectively ran the fastest forties since 2003. So I mean, we got a lot of, we got a lot of speed merchants coming into the national football league. But myself and others would ask, okay, well, that's great. They're fast. God bless them with natural speed. But can they, can they catch and can they protect and can they learn the playbook? Uh, and, and that comes naturally to you, man. You work hard at it, but it's always come naturally to you. That's how key is that, man? Yeah, man. That's, that's extremely, um, like I said, that's extremely important. And, uh, for me, definitely, like I said, you know, some teams have me clocked at a 4-4. I know the TV tiles will all off, but, uh, definitely for me, that's extremely important. You know,

19:31I understand the game of football is huge. We're at the end of the day, man. We're at the combine. We're doing all these different tests, but at the end of the day, we play football, man. And that's what I excel at, you know, at the highest level. And so for me, man, it was just going through this process. It was just fun to be able to go out there and, you know, show my ability and, you know, with a, uh, jump, you know, being able to run routes. And, you know, I even stayed after, uh, and ran around to a V-love and price somewhere else after just the drills out there, which, you know, was a blessing to be able to have NFL teams recognize that and know that, you know, I can run around on the backfield and also in the slime. And so that was opportunity for me to showcase that. And I definitely say, like I said, versatility is my biggest strength. And I definitely feel like, you know, when it comes to doing both, I'm a, you know, back in the draft at the NFL team, when we're picking up, because I've been able to affect the games in different ways. And I just run the ball, but I'm also catching the ball, man. Like I said, you're going to see my receiving ability in the NFL. And I guess I'm doing a work really hard to excel at it. And I will excel at it just because of my mentality. And I know, and I understand football at a high level.

20:34And I'm able to win. It's really, really fast. You, um, you're in a 4 5 40. What, um, what do you think of that? And I don't know, man, maybe the stopwatch was broken or something, right? Yes, man. I was actually, you know, PR did not test in that. Well, I'm at now. I ran a 4 4. You know, my pre-testing things like that. So I actually did better at the combine. So, yeah, like the time of the law, obviously, I'm not somebody who complains about that. But I'm definitely just going to run a pro day again and just, you know, run a really, really good time, just to show the world. You know, like I said, I want to compete. Probably don't really have to run again, but I'm a competitor and I know how fast I am in my ability. And so I'm going to have no weakness going into this draft. And so I want to give, you know, teams a great, great reason to pick up the best running back in this draft. All right. Roll with me on this one. Other notable players in the history of the combine to run 40s that, uh, that were similar to yours. All right. They, uh, they include Marsh on Lynch, Leonard Fornet and Bucky Irving. So of those three guys,

21:37which one do you play most like and why? I would definitely say Bucky Irving, um, you know, I think I run like Marsh on, but Bucky, somebody who can, you know, do different things, you know, run the ball in between titles and also run rough out of the backfield. But man, if I'm being honest, I feel like my game is, you know, not really related just to one play. I feel like I have a lot of different traits. You know, it goes back to like various handers, but they're in Thomas and, you know, those are guys, I feel like I play similar to that. So going to say this league, man, I'm, like I said, I'm not just trying to be another running back in the NFL. I'm trying to really dominate at a high level and be the best, you know, to ever play the game. That's my mentality. I feel like if I don't think that way, that's fair on myself. So going into this league, man, like I said, Bucky's a solid player, you know, I met with Tampa Bay too. What was it that it talked to them? Um, you know, and also understanding that they're, that they're, um, GM played in Nebraska too, which is really unique, but wow. Yeah, I would definitely just say, man, my skill said it's special. And the team

22:39will see that quickly. Uh, so don't sleep. Don't sleep on me because I said, if you pass on me, man, you don't regret it. But you just ain't given an inch. All right. Um, now in fairness, Emmett did run and those inside the game of the NFL, I've heard this for multiple decades. With the combine drills, you got three cone, uh, you have, uh, you have a bunch of jumping things, you got the 40, the short shuttle matters most to running backs coaches. I've just been told this forever. And Emmett ran a 4.29 short shuttle. That was the fastest of all running backs at the combine. Now we get to the, uh, to the three cone drill. And you, you mentioned it earlier, and you said it two times, you're like, I did all of the drills. What, uh, do you have any idea why you were the only running back to do the, the three cone? We killed them all with some of the competitor and I've been competing my whole life. I didn't try away from anything. And, um, for me, man, I would definitely just say like, hey, I know you say I ran a 4.2, uh, short shuttle, but I was extremely fatigued. I got done doing drills. Um, I did routes and

23:45everything. And I came over there and still competed and got first, you know, which is just who I am as a person. You know, I could have got, could have waited, you know, and there's gotten a better time. Even when it came to the, uh, the three cone man, like, like, the three cone, I think the first one, I flipped on the first one. And I was just like, I was super fatigued, but I didn't really care about the results. I feel like just be, be competing at the high level, giving everything I got is all that matters. And hopefully these NFL teams will see that, man, like, I could have went to come out of the line. We're going to do one or two things and just be done, but I'm the type of person who's trying to compete in everything. No matter how tired I am, I wanted to show the teams that I'm a competitor. And I think that's definitely going to separate me from, you know, everybody else knows Jeff got also anybody else. Man, I fell. Hey, man, you're the best. All right. Last one. And thanks for the long chat. Has anybody told you who, um, you know, uh, much of the key you reminded some people with your combine of a running back who's currently in the league. And here's why it's Alvin Camera. Now you guys, you guys are

24:45the same height. You're close to the same weight. Your hands are a half inch bigger than his. And your forties were the exact same time. Now Camera's had a wonderful career for the New Orleans Saints. Uh, he was a third round pick at 67. What, um, what, what do you think of Alvin Camera and have you studied his game? Yeah, man. Camera's a dog. Man, I studied a lot about Camera. And it was crazy. I was talking to the Saints about that too. Uh, you know, in my meeting and fun fact, man, no one out of Camera and going up watching him. He's also a librarian, which I am too. So kind of a crazy connection. And I kind of seen that. I seen some of the comparison similarities. But like I said, man, you know, the testing and all that stuff is really great. But on day, we got to put your football, man. And on that football field, I'm going to make everybody feel me. So he's somebody I respect for. I have a lot of respect for. And, um, I'm sure you dominate this next level. 30:04And I listed it, you know, as probability would go for the way I execute my toil. Kyler 1, Geno Smith 2, Aaron Rogers 3. Kirk Cousins was not in that conversation, even though I think Kirk, you know, for a season or so, what did okay? It's an, and Nordo Dagger to yesterday a little bit. I saw something over the weekend where like no matter how things end today with Atlanta, for Kirk Cousins, the, you know, they're going to pay him a lot of money. But the one year, one whatever million dollars to, you know, come in and or even two years at some kind of a cheap deal. Well, that, that may not be preferred by team Cousins. So that's confusing. Yeah. And then Geno Smith goes to the New York Jets. All right. So Geno Smith goes to the New York Jets. So now you got Kyler and you have Kirk and you have a bevy of other names.

31:06But what the, the talk back what it was discussing was about an hour ago. You know, it was just kind of a hey, let's get to know a few things about Kyler Murray, in case he signed by the Minnesota Vikings at some point this week. It's, you know, I was listening to Barreiro a couple of days, maybe yesterday or a couple of days ago. And he was chatting with Gargie about Kyler Murray and, you know, not to take three to six, 30 out of context. So paraphrasing, it was kind of like speaking, speaking for bump. Am I the only one or, or, or like he's warmer or hotter on Kyler Murray joining the Minnesota Vikings than a lot of other people are. All right. Contextually speaking, I wouldn't know that because I probably, you know, despite listening to bumper to bumper, maybe I missed some of this takes along the way. But I heard that one. Now speaking for nine to noon, specifically me and in order to conformulate whatever opinion he wants,

32:10I'm not cold on Kyler Murray becoming the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. I just don't want people to take what they see via social media and the highlight machine and think that's exactly who you're getting every single play because it's not. Now every quarterback in the national football, look, look at Drake May. I mean, Drake May was the bell of the freaking ball up to the Super ball. Sam Darnelld with what we remember and a man who led the NFL in turnovers for the for the Super chickens who won the championship. You know, Sam had some things through which he needed to push. Drake May clearly has things through which he needs to push. With Kyler, we get in in 2019, we went rookie of the year with 20 passing touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns. And as things move forward with Kyler Murray,

33:10what just because it's low hanging fruit, you know, doesn't mean that the clichés or the obvious need to be avoided because they're, they're, they're important. And the fact that he's five, 10, you know, that that's something everybody is going to discuss before they sign Kyler Murray, specifically offenses and or play callers that prefer their quarterbacks to stay in the pocket and attack the middle of the field. Now the gifts that Kyler Murray possesses, they can be otherworldly. And I wouldn't pin Kyler as like Kyler as a guy who lacks a swivel. All right, I, you know, I'm not, I'm not going to put that on him like Justin feels for X amount of years where, all right, um, Christian Kirk's not covered. I got a, he's covered. I got to run. Deandre Hopkins is covered. I got to run. Trey McBride is covered. I got to run. It's, I'm not up to speed enough with Kyler Murray to know how well or poorly he scans the field.

34:12And he is dynamic. There's no doubt about it. And his arm is good, if not good enough. But the, the way offense has been run or was run in Arizona is different than here. But that doesn't mean things can't change here. If indeed he is the quarterback, there are a lot of things you can do. Like, like, if you want to go dreamscaping, if you want to go speed related dreamscaping, if, if you close on Kyler Murray, and then you find your way, and I'm an Emma Johnson guy clearly, and he's fast, with respect to, to my friend, Jeremiah Love, he, he might be otherworldly. He might be one of those backs. I'm going to put him on B. John Robinson, but he might be one of those high enders like that. And he's fast. He's very fast and he's elusive. I mean, if you found your way

35:13to that, and you have Kyler, and you have Justin, and you have Jordan. I mean, that's so much speed to attack a defense with on a weekly basis. You, you, you can even get another running back who's fast. Just, just, you know, because you don't find your way to Jeremiah Love in the first round, the Notre Dame running back. So I like that. Yes, I like adding speed. There are facets that we all know about Kyler Murray that have kind of plagued him during the course of his career. I can't say I don't like them because I don't have the full context of what went into some of the things because they weren't here. I mean, nothing terribly bad. Like when you're talking about super bad off the field things, just limitations within a game. And it probably wouldn't cost that much. But, you know, the, the, the New York Jets are getting chided in that they made a move for Geno Smith yesterday where they paid more than they would have to pay if they signed Geno Smith

36:16today first day of the year. Yeah. But you know what? The, I think his name is Darren Mougie is the new GM for the New York Jets. He used to be with the Denver Broncos. He's, he's, he's, he's, he's quite close with, with Kevin O'Connell. You know, if the Jets sensed the Vikings are somebody else we're going to make a move at a relatively inexpensive number for somebody they want. Well, truly what is overpaying if you get something that you want and you don't have to sweat dealing with other teams. Yeah. Or, you know, you can handle a little like the Baltimore Ravens where you can just make a deal. Quit on the deal. Get your first round picks back. Learn the next day. Lamar Jackson just decides he's going to redo his deal. So they can find salary cap space for tray Hendrixen. This thing's really starting to piss me off. I, I think, I think this is, I think it was a fixed race. I mean, as conspiratorial as it is, it looks like they

37:18knew exactly what they were doing every step of the way, including bleeping the raiders. They don't care about Dremond Jones and they kept other teams from doing maybe what they wanted and adding so they couldn't add something. Yeah. I mean, there might be a side of brilliant to it, but I'm not in the cheating business. And so anyway, back to Kyler or back to Kyler and Geno. It's, I meant to do this this morning and I forgot, but like how many teams truly need a quarter back that they can say, all right, well, it's going to be this deal. You know, because you're getting all that money from Arizona, it's going to be this deal and you're going to start. See, they, they can do that here if they are so inclined. And for Kyler Murray to look around the national football league and be like, all right. I mean, maybe Jackson Dart needs more time. Maybe there. Yeah. Yeah. I, I, I mean, penics and, you know, do they want to write hand a quarter

38:21back? Anybody want to write hand a quarterback who can run instead of me. So I just often, I'm just looking at the team right now. Dolphins just signed Malik Willis 45 million guaranteed. So they're going to start Malik Willis. Yes, sir. You go to the AFC North. It's Lamar, Barrow. I mean, I, I'm just blanking on the Brown situation. I'm going to Cleveland probably not. I mean, I don't think he would stealers is an option. Depending upon, you know, the, the, the thumb twiddling of an Aaron Rogers. Yeah. You got CJ Stroud. Yeah. Killy situation with the Colts. They can find something while Daniel Jones recovers, but didn't they didn't they do the franchise with him? I think they're working on a two year extension for him. Okay. As part of that. And that's like imminent. Okay. So he's going to be in the mix. And then for 1.3, you can bring in Kyler for a year. Hey, show out with Alec Pierce and get, get paid in free agency. And, you know, I don't have confirmation on this, but I, you know, I fully believe that the Minnesota Vikings felt Daniel Jones would be on their roster the next year. You know, but it's not going to be the full season next year. Probably not. No. So if you're Daniel Jones and, and, and, use sense Kyler Murray may be coming into the fold. Why would you want to play there? Well, I mean, it's still, if you do the same thing, you'd have to have a conversation with him. I just, I don't think if the cults were really, if they're, if they're worried about, okay, you know, you watch, whether it was Rogers, his recovery from the ACL that second year in, in, with

Really wasn't right until a year and a half or so later at the cults that, that the cults, if you're about to do the two-year extension, maybe part of that saying, hey, you know, we, I, Kyler could be an option there. I, I, I got to think about how to win games. I just spent a bunch of money on the pass catcher. I don't know, but to, to that end, that's a great point that they spent that money on the speed and potentially add speed. Yeah. So that, that is a potential spot that I kind of overlooked. And I got Jonathan Taylor too. Jonathan Taylor, offensive lines, okay. Yeah. Of course. You play indoors. We'll come back to the surface. I, I, I think you know, mose. There's a re, say how mose is awesome. And that little prohibition, that little, uh, speakeasy on top. Yeah. Yeah. If Gino finds a spot and it is the 1.3 vid and Kyler, there's a lot of legal out assumption it's going to be here. So, you know, you, you mentioned, I had kind of written off Kyler. I mean, that's kind of, just how I looked at it, the times that I've seen him, the athleticism and the playmaking and all that is apparent. And I had asked you off air because there, there was a talk back and I was reading the transcript and, um, actually, I can, he was talking about that maybe this is the most raw, talented QB we've had since Dante and think about the dual thread ability of cold pepper back in the day. All of that's accurate. Like, no, I would never question and, and he finds ways to make unbelievable plays. But throughout his career and what I've seen from him and now our teams face him a bunch, we got those pump passes. He will make the play that also can end the game for your

42:31favorite team as well. And so, you know, just balancing that, it's like, okay, lack of weapons, Arizona, they're trying their damnedest, but, but in terms of putting things around him, it just hasn't worked out. And then two of the last three seasons, he's been nicked up. So, right, you know, writing him off maybe is too harsh, but I, I didn't, I didn't look at him as a game changing highlight all pro caliber QB. But at this stage of his career, at this stage of his career, but he intrigues the heck out of me. And there's an interesting situation here that will unfold if he indeed joins this team this week is the, the way that the head coach wants his quarterbacks to play versus the way that Kyler plays and the machine of those in some ways conflicting or non congruent ideas, how that comes together this season. So when, when they sit down with them, they're going to meet with them. It sounds like this afternoon. You know, I think he's meeting a

43:32bunch of teams via zoom. Okay. So it's, so there'll be some zoom calls. Oh, wait, we, oh, wow, big tweet here. Oh, okay. We have some confirmation. Daniel Jones, two years, 88 million with the calls. I always love that one. Anyway, you were saying, well, there you go. And maybe since you just gave maybe eight, maybe you're, you're not going to bring in Kyler this year. So, and they got Riley Leonard. They liked him. There's a, there's a natural and very fluid. Again, the raw athleticism of this kid is unbelievable. So he's going to run, he's going to be smart. He's going to protect himself. He's going to extend plays. He's going to find Jordan Adderson on some five or seven step drop, deeper, longer developing

44:37play, but he's going to find him because he had to run near the sideline to do it and throw off platform. There's going to be those moments. I'm just curious how the, how the, how the machine of what the coach wants. Yeah. And how the player just instinctively acts on a football field, how those two come together. And then, and then how that conversation is around a competition because as much as I like, I want JJ McCarthy to succeed. We spent the 10th overall pick on him at this rate from my standpoint. It's not a competition. Kyler would win that race. And Kyler will be starting week one 2026 for the purple dub is, is what do you think of this? Is wide receiver Christian Kirk still available? I could look. I can absolutely. I think he is. Well, that's Kyler Murray's best friend. Okay. From, from back to when they, they, they played together at Texas A&M and Josh Reynolds was a wide receiver there. Kyler was young in the, in the bid, then they played together in Arizona. Christian got paid by Jacksonville and left.

45:39Yeah. All right. So I don't know how much game Christian Kirk has left, but I mean, Christian's fast. So I wonder, you know, because the, the, with nailer going to the Raiders, of course, you got the draft and you got Ty Felden, but, you know, there potentially could be a way if, if, if Kyler Murray, indeed, as a report indicated yesterday, and Christian Kirk's available. Yeah. And I wonder what he would require financially. But if you, and I think the Vikings just reworked by our Murphy juniors deal, I saw that tweet within the last hour. So they, they have even more money now for things like this. Well, he made sick Kirk May. This must have been the back end of his Jaguar steel, because he made 16 million last year. 48:43Running back games decent offensive lines decent. I think that's the thing though. I think they're running back situations been awful. Like Mixin didn't play a game. That's shrouded in obscurity in terms of his health. Yeah. They dusted off Nick Chubb post injury and he had his moments. Damien Pierce charges favorite player in the NFL has mostly been a huge letdown after early burst. Well, Kyler runs, but the other thing running back the other thing too. And I'm not trying to, but they signed Ed Ingram to the three and 37. And I just remember throughout the year just reading random bits that there were conversations about online issues that related to maybe some of the struggles that CJ Stroud had. Now the team again, just put three years and nearly 40 million bucks in Ed Ingram's pocket. So this is necessarily about dragging him. Yeah, but I wonder if inefficient or inconsistent run game combined with an online and total that presents its issues. Maybe that's, you know, it's it's everyone's in the excuse game. Anyway, that you can kind of take the shade or full culpability off yourself. There's some
