Definition of Self Confidence
Self-confidence is the quiet belief that your voice matters, your work has value, and you can handle what comes next.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Before Goldie learned to be confident, she frequently doubted her value, particularly in the workplace, and she reframed her thoughts to fit into unsecure environments. Life felt smaller: not in a peaceful way, but in a way that muted her joy, her voice, and the impact that she knew she could make.
The “AHA” Moment
Goldie's big AHA moment was realizing that joy isn’t just a feeling - it can be a strategy. And on top of that, introverts can be more powerful than they believe, especially on a platform like LinkedIn.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
After discovering self-confidence, Goldie stopped shrinking herself to fit into rooms. She started designing rooms where others could expand, too. She has spoken on stages from San Francisco to Romania, sharing stories about joy, leadership, and personal branding with thousands of creatives and introverts who once felt unseen. Life now feels like a series of open doors, each one inviting her to show up fully and help others do the same.
The One Self Confidence Tip for the Listener
When Goldie stood on a global tech stage as the only woman speaker, she didn’t just share her story, she made space for others by highlighting underrepresented voices and inviting future speakers from the audience to connect. Her advice: don’t wait to feel “ready” - start showing up, even if you feel timid or shy or introverted, and use every platform to lift others as you rise. Confidence grows when you choose courage over perfection and community over competition.
