One of the first Iranians I met was on an airplane on the way to Germany. He said he was going to Iran to try to rescue his family that was going to be killed by the ayatollah. I prayed for him before he got off the airplane and he told me that he would likely be dead within a week. The Ayatollahs have totally destroyed the joy and the productiveness of the Persian people, and they’ve defended their positions of power with guns and soldiers. The Persians people only had flesh to fight back. Now they have a chance to regain their freedom and I sincerely hope they’re going to seize the opportunity to free themselves of the Ayatollahs and rejoin the civilized world. I know that I’ll be one of the first to welcome them back, because the Persian people are good people.
