This is Cory, and here's what is making news across Durham right now. Fans of 90-day fiancee, no Lita Marderetta, and Eric Rosenbrook as a couple from the show. Their infant daughter, Alisa, died in July 2025 after five days on life support. Eric recently told TMZ that they are still grieving deeply and have no plans right now for another baby. Earlier this month, a report from the Adams County Health and Human Services Department called the death non-accidental. It pointed to evidence of physical abuse and maltreatment by the mother. No criminal charges have come from a yet, and the investigation continues. Eric and Lita strongly disagree with that finding. They hired their own private medical examiner, who thinks one key injury might have happened during childbirth. Lita's attorney backs her up, saying she denies any wrongdoing. Lita loved her daughter more than anything, and is heartbroken, according to her lawyer. She's been dealing with lots of public scrutiny since appearing on the show back in 2018.
Meanwhile, Lita faces 24 felony charges in Wisconsin for things like wire fraud, forgery, and theft from late 2023. Early 2024, the couple remains focused on healing from their loss.
