Hey folks, Dave Neal here with the bonus holiday edition weekend episode of the Rochauer podcast I have three stories to get to involving the escalating war in Iran Just some real like nitty-gritty, you know the US bombs some oil tankers They respond with fire on US Navy ships and back in fourth. It's a scary time to be alive I also have some thoughts on the economic trade war with Canada, you know most of our audience listens in North America And boy is it just a mess out there all of these unforced eras, but listen I know what it's like to have to work on the weekend Especially a holiday weekend So if you're out there having to do some work and you just need someone to I don't know rant about the news and your ears That's what this episode's for this is for you Maybe you couldn't make it to the family barbecue because you're working at that second gig your hustling Just know I see you it's gonna pay off you keep keep it up keep that hard work up Maybe you're I don't know Moe in the lawn or doing some you know activities power washing the driveway Well or making love to your lady. What do I know do whatever the hell you want listen however you want either way

Here's your bonus episode. I'm Dave. This is the rush We've got massive updates regarding Donald Trump's war in Iran as the US is employing their tanker for tanker policy And I for a night makes the whole world blind a tanker for a tanker makes us broke as hell at the gas pump So diesels at an all-time high 20% of the world's oil is not being float through the straight-of-formos and the US is genius plan to try to I guess strangle the people of Iran is to hit their shadow oil Shuttle business that's right. They've knocked out one of their oil crude other very large crude carriers VLCC's as they're called Which was linked to a shadow network that funds the IRGC So I'm going to share the video of that attack actually right now Boy, it's a wild time to be alive You know what I mean? We've got Saturday You know I used to watch Saturday cartoons and now it's like here's your morning update on what ships got blown up But again, this is Trump's America that he created this idea that we had to attack Iran after four decades of diplomacy

Now all of a sudden it's wartime maybe that's what you get when you elect the winner of the FIFA peace prize I guess I don't know we laugh because we can't cry Hit the subscribe button lots to get into sent comm destroyed three IRGC oil tankers after Iran targets to US Navy warships So I understand every day we make this content and then some people like You get this fatigue, right like all right. We shot their thing. They shot ours big whoop kind of what's going on Right, but now we have the Runean folks shooting at Navy warships, which I don't blame them They were attacked in this war. I don't blame them. I think the military should get the hell out of there But we don't have ball rain anymore, which was our food pantry That's where we would get all of our food to before it was dispersed to all of the different bases and whatnot So now you want fresh eggs and milk you got to go 2,000 miles away You thought it sucked you know in the middle of the night when your wife's like, yeah Can you give me some half and half and you're like I got to go to Kroger? I got to put pants on I smell you know what I mean? Well, they've got to go several thousand miles

So again the supply chains are crippled and now they're coming right after the US tanker the US warships No hits yet, but that will be the ultimate escalation you think this war is endless now We till they you know bomb and blow up a US warship and then all of a sudden You know that propaganda is gonna spread throughout the country and try to get more support for boots on the ground and whatnot So here is the video Of them destroying the Kylo so that ship is blown up I got another video to show we don't know if there's any casualties They did blow up the engine room on that so we'll get to that video in a second, but here we have I guess this was the oil tanker so this is obviously before it was blown up This is Iran's oil tanker that was targeted by four US missiles and the US strikes the Iranian oil tanker In this was near Carg Island Iran will respond they see this as obviously like escalation You know, of course the Iranians shooting back basically you've got two different shipping oil lanes in the straighter

Hormuz the Iranians kind of dark shadow lane they're going and then the US is trying to go through the Omani route on the other end a US missile hit a small tanker at Carg Island so again what these explosions that were reported near Iran's Carg Island I know mention of casualties, but how about this? I mean this is insane You know, we've been calling this up for months. It's like no shit Sherlock US intelligence is sounding the alarm that Tehran may have reached a Dangerous conclusion Iran believes it can keep the United States trapped in this war for months The latest assessment says Iranian leaders have grown more confident in their ability to withstand US pressure Exploit the straight of Hormuz in turn the mounting economic and political costs against President Trump with the November midterms approaching Tehran reportedly sees another battlefield opening up American politics itself So we've called this out they don't want it they've even said this publicly that they don't want to negotiate till Trump's no longer president For sure they want to try to ride this out through the midterms create as much devastation economically as possible

The Iranian government has done very little to kill American soldiers Because I think they realize that escalating in that way will Be used as you know obvious propaganda in the US to continue this war so instead they've been going after All of the infrastructure the landing strips the fuel the refueling tankers the drone you know and all of that capabilities So here's what the US Central Command had to say Let the message to the IRGC be clear if you shoot at two of our ships We will impose an even higher economic cost taking out three of yours We will not hesitate to defend American forces and if necessary destroy Iran's limited and exposed oil fleet Admiral Brad Cooper so again and I for an I then a tanker for a tanker now It's two of your tankers for three of ours and that was the shot on the Kylo that hit the engine room I don't know how Immediately all of these other things blow up, but you know, it's an oil tanker. It's a it's a ticking time bomb right there

So in the video footage you can see a lifeboat was lowered into the water prior to the attack This means that the crew were not on board the tanker and had most likely been for warned So yeah, these tankers it's an interesting thing because they've obviously been sanctioned for a long time And they they operate under different code names and it's a whole shadow network Which funds their regional proxies. So again fascinating stuff I don't know why the US didn't target these beforehand probably because Even though they're trying to cut off um the neck of the Iranian economy Like this is oil is oil right and it's a global market and again I'm no expert, but even if this oil wasn't going to make it to the US shores It's still in the global market. So the more global Market disruption to oil then you're gonna have you know, let's just say Hypothetically this oil was gonna go to Russia now the Russians don't have that oil that they intended So and then or maybe the Chinese wanted it as well now they're gonna have to go to other means means that would have been on a market that we would have gone to

So again, it's it's going to continue to make a global Catastrophe. I don't know how else to say that without sounding hyperbolic a global Energy catastrophe you better strap some solar panels to your bicycle because Yank can have oil if this keeps going on Again, it's absolutely insane. So here's a good summary of this naval this US naval blockade that Iran is attempting to break The context of the US attack on Iranian oil tankers near car gauland is now clearer According to sent-com Iranian forces fired ballistic missiles towards two US warships causing no damage US forces then attacks three Iranian oil tankers and rendered them in operable This is important because the US strike was apparently not retaliation for Iran's attacks on Commercial shipping in the state of Hormuz It followed an Iranian attempt to directly target the American naval forces enforcing the blockade that appears to mark a new phase of escalation until now Iran's maritime operations had focused on tankers and commercial shipping in and around Hormuz

While its directed attacks on US forces were directed at American bases across the region Attempting to strike US warships enforcing the blockade therefore crosses a different threshold They attempted the attempt failed But there's no reason to assume the next one will a successful strike especially one causing significant US casualties Could rapidly transform the conflict This is also consistent with what I argue to my latest time article Intensifying economic pressure does not necessarily make Tehran more cautious If Iranian leaders conclude that the pressure is becoming economically or strategically unsustainable They have stronger incentives to take the initiative and change the equation for that reason I do not expect attacks on Iranian oil tankers to produce greater restraint quite the contrary The greater the squeeze on Iran the greater the incentive to act and the more Tehran comes to see that pressure as existential The more likely it is to conclude that it has less to lose and then increasingly risky actions are worth attempting Yes, so Iran's got the ball and they're kind of trying to drain out the clock

And the US is trying to provoke them and you know and sink their economy and they have the Oh, what you know what's called escalation dominance They have the ability to hit more targets, you know All of the these US troops have had to flee these 14 or 15 bases across the Middle East They're still staying in other places. They're staying in hotels and residential areas they're in Parts of the Middle East that were not considered military threats, but now they are so there's plenty of targets for the Iranians Meanwhile, there he is Mr. Abonzpur the president himself Utterly shameful stolen valor awarding himself the Medal of Honor the five stars are for the five draft Affirmances daddy bought for him to get out of the Vietnam war Why is there even a 25th amendment if Congress is incapable of invoking it look Congress can't even go to work to vote on releasing the Epstein files Why do we think they're going to stop a war? This is why there needs to be an absolute thunderous blue wave this fall period That's it So they won't even admit they're at a war so here's Trump

um, you know kind of responding to this idea like are we good? Are we going to keep fighting and he just is everything's fun to him He's got cowboys with him and he doesn't even answer the question Reformation uh resolution Those things which people I thought the revolution was more interesting Dude I come from a large Irish Catholic family and I everyone's got these uncles If you've been in one of these large families You can't even talk to them because they just want to make jokes and pull my finger and and just farting around and that's Trump right there Right she's she's asking if there's going to be a resolution. He's like I think he's a revolution I'll do a revolution you guys wonder and he's just like cracking jokes and it's like yeah great It's it's annoying when it's your uncle doing it on Thanksgiving It's more annoying when it's the president in the uh in the oval office Surrounded by gold plated bullshit In sick of fans and we're in a war we can't get out of Resolution I don't know I can't tell you but we've already won the big thing. There's not gonna be a nuclear weapon

So there it is. There's not gonna be a nuclear weapon So Trump's already declaring victory and here we have Mark Wayne Mullin Says we didn't declare war and then they were spawned by saying you just called it a war and he's like Oh my man You can see this is war we have declared war they declared war on us. We have a We have declared They called it war what I was saying okay, well that was a misspoke What I was saying that they declared war on us but but war is ugly it always has been ugly But we're you know we're in a war is ugly. It's not war you called it war I misspoke but war is ugly It's or so ugly you don't even want to call it war It's ugly war is so ugly when you're getting your ass kicked at it You don't even want to pretend they're in it. There's no war what are we talking about? Meanwhile look at look at this propaganda and it's all about propaganda This part's fascinating the you the White House is now taking a picture lapsing and they added 162,000 jobs in the economy in August Shattering economists expectations

Meanwhile every month in this presidency They've had to scale it back was saying oh we added a hundred thousand and then a month later they find out it's really 60,000 so these are just forecast right so Trump says oh we added all these jobs now we auto lower the interest rate He's vision boarding the economy He's trying to do the law of attraction on the on the world's economy saying look It's all great and then the real numbers come out and it's not let me get this straight ADP job results on Wednesday were 47,000 forecast and came in under at 38,000 the BLS forecast was 55,000 and came in at 162,000 One is a private company and one is the government with 59 days before the midterms Which one is it and of course boot liquor absolute just sick of fan VP JD vents closed the border put up tariffs cut taxes for the working class. What do you get one million new jobs since the start of this administration 100% of the gains to American citizens Folks where you have a growing audience hit the subscribe button

Do you guys feel better off now than you did before Trump was back in office? Does anybody feel like they they they deported all these immigrants saying you're gonna get all these better high paying jobs You're gonna be able to afford homes now that we're gonna kick the brown people out like this is what they're saying Video games on how to deport the brown people propaganda Yeah, no none of it helps why because there's all part of the scam to make their cronies richer and richer So yeah, no one's buying it Well, there are some people buying it but check this out We already covered how the Department of Defense was paying US citizens to do propaganda for them. Well look at this inside a conservative operation to hijack your social media feed A service run from Latvia offers payment for short social media friendly clips designed to look like grassroots GOP support That's right. It's called astroturfing So whenever you get on Facebook, it is a bismillon there You would think you you would think that the majority of the country loves Trump My Facebook is a mess

And same thing you get these people commenting on Instagram and you're like who are these people? Literally no one believes that this is good for our country right? Well turns out They're really for the most part either fake people or there are campaigns to To come off as real people and then the idiots that are following those campaigns are being duped So there's still people being scammed if you're short on cash There's someone in Latvia who can help you could literally make a hundred K a month with this campaign All you have to do is post on social media video clips of anything that supports Republican I'm familiar with US politics if you're not from the USA like what the F is even Republican like me Simply go to Gemini or chat GPT He's he suggests and be like yo Gemini. I want some videos promoting Republican values. Give me ideas So they're in there They're trying to get foreigners to To sort of monetize and make money by being pro-Republican and pretending that they're living in the US He goes by the name Servious

He's promoting a campaign called elephant clipping run by his company clip it The campaign the company pays subcontractors many from poor countries in Eastern Europe in the global south To chop up videos to company provides and it bites ice pieces in the hopes that the clips will go viral online Clipping operations become a popular means of manipulating people's attention Brands influencers musical artists and others spend six figure sums on such promotional campaigns Perhaps inevitably the practice is now moving into politics So they have these clipping services. They don't even care where you come from They hide that you're not even in the US and one channel on the server users can submit pro-Republican videos They've already posted on tiktok instagram reels and youtube shorts to be reviewed for payment a separate google drive contains Suggested videos for clippers to use but you can clip anything as long as it is positively framed conservative pro-Republican content He provides some examples a video of top five Joe Rogan moments a video of a conservative youtuber Confronting liberals with the caption see how Nick Shirley handles being told to get the f out of a public property One thing after another Charlie Kirk and look it goes on and on and on

So this is scary stuff This is not grassroots. This is not democracy This is money being spent to convince people that the Republicans are cool that they're that they've got your best interest Look, I want to live in a world where we can take money out of campaign financing where we make it all grassroots effort I want to live in a world where the best candidates win because we decide to come together and vote for them That's it so simple right amount Imagine all the money that would be saved and put into positive things Like you know developing new efficiencies with green energy farming I don't know wouldn't that be nice going into this climate Crisis that we're in wouldn't be nice to be spending money on things that we can benefit from Not things that are dividing us and trying to prop up The Republican party amidst all of their failures. So again, you get that online But then here's how people really feel that voted for Trump here I mean you're not going to get everybody, but here is a former Trump voter giving you a pretty honest assessment of this term

Is this person a trader or a patriot? Trader he deceived the American people He didn't hold up on his promises and he wants to give all of her money to Israel It's not American. It's not America first. Now what I voted for. I don't believe in it. He's a trader There, I mean what else do that's how the people feel But if you were in Latvia or wherever you were making $100,000 a month posting Chat GPT version of Republican propaganda maybe you would feel differently But here in the United States of America I think more people have our view which is we need a title wave this fall that title wave needs to be people running for office and winning office that are not taking money from any corporate donations Whether they're Democrat or Republican whether it's a pack or the NRA Let's go grassroots and let's take this country back hit the subscribe button if you agree Coming up in a little bit. We're going to have the story on the economic trade war with Canada so many updates to come Stay tuned for breaking news. We are expecting the Iranians to respond to that US strike on these ships near carg island

We've got massive updates to get to regarding the war in Iran as all hell is breaking loose the Iranians are now claiming That the IRG see fired missiles at us vessels and hit them We are not getting that confirmation on the US side of things But this comes after they vow to retaliate the US attacking several Oil tankers that were flowing through the straight-of-form moves. We're going to dive into this Unbelievably escalation that's going on again. We don't have confirmation That these attacks actually took place again. We're not we're pretty much at a media blackout right now But there is some video evidence that that these ships are landing these missile attacks Breaking news irons IRG see announces it carried out the single largest attack in the straight-of-form moves Striking six vessels with anti-ship missiles and retaliation for this morning's US strike on three Iranian oil tankers Transiting the straight the IRG see says it struck three oil tankers

Transiting the unauthorized routes in the straight-of-form moves and three additional US Navy warships and US linked vessels in the area This will be a massive escalation if it proves to be true as you guys know earlier this week We reported the Iranians claiming that in retaliation to the attack that led to what five dead 50 injured the wedding that was taking place in Iran The Iranians attacked a base in Jordan and they claimed that there was mass US casualties We haven't heard anything about that. I don't understand and think that they would be flat out lying But again, that's the propaganda and sort of fog of war that they talk about which is each side's trying to declare strength and show that they're winning But really what the hell is going on? We've said this all along that these US ships are sitting ducks in the straight Barely able to defend themselves can't even defend their bases right now former commander said 15 American bases are probably all but destroyed

There's again here's the images coming in and we'll get to a video in a second might as touches reporting that Iran's IRGC Navy Says that retaliated against US strikes by targeting three tankers accused of using unauthorized routes and three additional US linked vessels After US forces struck three Iranian oil tankers near the straight-of-form moves now We do have evidence that the Iranians are using these medium Length missiles which they have kind of avoided using before because it would lead to greater escalation You know if you're the Iranians right now it seems as their goal is to Not escalate this war to a point where they'll continue to get battered But keep the war going as you know to prolong the pain it'll cause the US economy heading up to the midterms So the Iranian letter reports we now know what Iran was aiming at yesterday a US aircraft carrier Now this is why this is so huge right because There's you know the Iranians have been shooting at the engine rooms of tankers some of them get hit some don't there's drones

Floating around it's obviously dangerous, but they're not trying to take you know lives right? They're trying to disable these oil tankers well, this would be Pretty wild if true So Tehran launched anti-ship ballistic missiles towards the carrier for the first time marking a major escalation in the war No hits were recorded yesterday But sent common knowledge that the USS George Washington was forced to perform evasive maneuvers Iran had reportedly avoided using this high-end weapon until now Fearing it could trigger a massive US retaliation Anti-ship ballistic missiles pose a significantly greater threat to major warships than conventional cruise missiles or drones Their use against a US carrier represents a serious escalation in Iran's military posture So as far as we know with the Iranian RGC shot at the USS George Washington Yesterday and now we're getting reports like we just shared that three US ships were targeted and possibly hit again

No information if that's accurate Here is a video coming in of one of the ships that may have been hit I mean obviously look these are horrible quality who the hell knows We saw some photos some videos coming out and again when the US strikes the Iranians There's like you know high quality imagery and then we're just supposed to believe that the Iranians are hitting US I mean, I'll tell you this will know by what the US decides to do in response if this Huge escalation happens and there's a good chance that they're right that Iran did hit a USS George Washington So again other organizations reporting, you know similarly the same news Iran has directly launched an anti-ship ballistic missile at a US nuclear aircraft carrier in the Gulf of Oman The first reported a Iranian attempt to strike a US carrier since the war began They were they reportedly used a cosm bassir medium-range anti-ship ballistic missile which again We covered this I think yesterday or two days ago we covered that this missile was being lined up by them They were getting ready to use these missiles in response sent comm strike struck three Iranian oil tankers

Tehran has now warned trump all US naval ships are now targets Threatening multiple strikes against vessels linked to other countries participating in the anti-Iranian aggression Iran is again launching anti-ship cruise missiles towards a US aircraft carrier and or US escort of vessels according to initial reports We covered this morning if you didn't check by the way we already had a hundred plus thousand views so many people are tuning in I guess they're just not reporting the the daily updates I find them all to be very interesting because we are all but one mass casualty away from Someone feeling justified to use a nuclear weapon Do you know what I mean like we are in such a reckless and irresponsible place where the US needs to get the hell Out of the straight of Hormuz and again We showed that Pete Hakeseth was questioned for putting his soldiers in harm's way You know he's got this like warrior ethos where no we need to be able to take risk He's not taking him bear and trumps not on the front lines No one in the trump family has ever served so again this idea of Pete Hakeseth saying no

We're gonna be fearless and whatnot It is reckless and it's gonna get more Americans killed right so Here we have just the escalation ladder being spoken about since this since the beginning of the conflict Tehran appears to have deliberately hesitated to use it using its keleish far as anti-ship missile ballistic missile against US aircraft carriers likely out of concern that such an attack could trigger a major American response and push the confrontation beyond the informal rules of engagement that have constrained it so far Yesterday's attacks suggest that another threshold in Iranian decision-making has been crossed that matters far beyond the tactical details of the incident It indicates that Tehran is becoming increasingly willing to accept risks It previously sought to avoid including directly threatening some of the most important US military assets in the region I'm highly skeptical that said comes response will restore deterrence The more important takeaway is that Iran's escalation calculus appears to be changing in the current environment Breaking another previously respected threshold creating creates a dangerous precedent

The trajectory is increasingly clear Tehran is preparing to escalate not back down and again is that what we saw today So again, here's more images coming in irons shares the photo of Iranian oil tankers targeted by missile attacks near car gailin So these were the oil tankers that the US hit this morning, I believe and then we have we don't have visuals again This was the hit that happened this morning these tankers were being used By the by Iran to you know kind of circumvent the The blockade and the sanctions in order to move oil through the straight of harmus So the US central command has video of their ships getting hit and of course we have not seen any video of our ships being hit So Iran targets two US Navy ships. This is huge. No country has ever dared attacked US ships But Iran did and again, this is translated so apologies for this to sound choppy sent com claims attacks did no damage

No problem the damage broken in iranians will attack us Navy ships constantly a day comes that there will be damage to and this is the account coming in This is a freelance journalist coming in from Iran So again, it's pretty scary stuff. There is some rumors that the That the attack that the iranians did on the US yesterday may have actually caused damage and I'll get to that in a second America secretly transferred part of its forces and equipment to the Titan camp in Jordan with the aim of moving them out of harm's way The Iranian operation against the Titan camp in Jordan is considered an intelligence and operational success for Iran So this report coming in was this tiny camp that was used just to like train Marines And it was not as seemingly a significant place But the Iranian government decided to bomb it and there was no response and people said well There was no response because there was nothing there the US probably had moved all the troops out of there But what some people are saying is and the Iranians are saying that's where a mass casualty event took place

Now sadly, we just don't know and we can't really trust our government right now to give us those answers They've proven that they're going to try their best to avoid any accountability whatsoever And so again, we don't know but the Iran the Iranian government claimed mass casualties They claimed Several pilot US pilots were killed those claims were from earlier this week They're also claiming that they've now landed an attack on US ships sent commiss hiding the truth now Here's Robert Bruce a political commentator and again, it's you know Whether this is true or not. This is just what people are saying online Whatever sent comm is saying the reality may be completely different There's a very good chance that the truth is actually this a fire broke out in the laundry room of the USS George Washington And neither the aircraft carrier nor the guided missile destroyers were able to evade the incoming missiles now again There's no evidence of this this is someone you know, it's just theorizing But we did we did see this earlier in the war where there were claims that there were fires breaking out and

No one thought that those fires were because of an attack But actually because of a mutiny because there were so many people on these ships that weren't getting to the port that they were starting to Create reasons to you know try to get the ship sent back home again Neither neither of those theories have been vetted But this is what you have this is what people are you know talking about online But again, I I live in the world of reality where you have to you know take the evidence that you see And then take the rest of the grain assault But here it is you know the the lego The Iranian lego army is already coming out and doing that online propaganda game Look, I've had to wonder like where I stand in all of this you know just making sure like you know I got to cover what I can find online. I don't think it's I don't think we live in a world where we can afford to wait three weeks for the truth to come out That's just that's just me So there will be things that we get wrong And what's going to be important is that we just try to use our due diligence not to jump to any conclusions without having the evidence that back set up with that said

We should be looking at these reports that are coming in the US is withdrawing aircraft from US Eludate airbase in Qatar ahead of the expected Iranian strikes possible US strikes later tonight So this is just from like an hour ago what a wild time to be alive that we can be looking at things one hour old Across the other side of the world I mean it used to be you'd wait for the Sunday evening News or whatever to come on and you'd get a summation of what they want us to know But we're looking at this going man You know the war is spiraling out so fast that before we even get updates of the US evacuating out of these bases We're finding out that the Iranians have already targeted what they're claiming are dozens of ships right? So let's go back here confirmed the IRGC Navy announced is struck three oil tankers sailing through An authorized routes administrative hormones three other US affiliated vessels were also attacked in retaliation for US Attacks on three Iranian tankers the vessels were seen on fire So here's some of the evidence of these vessels on fire and again

You know no evidence that a US ship was actually hit But that's what they are claiming and I think in today's world we're gonna take those claims pretty strongly because If it's true That what what Iran is saying and again, why would they lie about I don't understand why They would lie about escalating a war that's gonna cause more damage to them like I don't understand You know there's trump very much is looking for an excuse to go boots on the ground He's looking for an excuse to use a tactile nuke and if Iran starts hitting some of these naval ships They could just force that to happen again Their plan might be to catch trump to suck him deeper into this war, you know I mean here we have the Iranian flash news is saying Pakistan enacted sweeping new defense legislation that places the countries three armed services under a unified command So that you know there they're knocking on the door ready to come I think I think we covered yesterday that south korea was gonna be sending some military assets to the strait

And then irons irgc as of this hour is preparing for more intensified strikes on us assets in the coming hours Will deliver a response dozens of times greater forever us attack against the Iran Excuse me meanwhile trump announced on fox news. We're going to hit them hard There will be a response for the Iranian missiles attack on moassi moa excuse me moa fuck salty airbase in Jordan The strikes are likely coming tonight So is that um you know You know what's true right that's the big question and Gosh you just hate to open up your twitter and find out that um, you know something happens that changes the trajectory of history right and that kind of feels like where we're at You know we're celebrating a long weekend here in the united states and um I always actually have my neighbor's house enjoying the pool and now I put my sundown for a nap That's literally I'm on dad duty right now So that's what I was looking off screen. They're gonna protect my kid and make sure He's getting a good nap in and again. It's it's insane. It's insane to and again

I'm sure parents can relate it's insane to How to like try to insulate my family from being seconds and minutes away from these these deep deep wars I might be going on for you know the the uh the as long as my child is growing up And to think that he's in a comfortable, you know, hopefully safe environment And then there's people with kids that hear missiles going off. It's a cruel world It's a very cruel world and I want to be in a world where we choose peace over wars And we don't have to live like this, you know, trump didn't have to do this and we don't have to elect officials That are so reckless and callous with lives not just American lives but human lives So hit the subscribe button if you want to be on the side of history. That's covering this sadly Um, and and you know watching this slip out of control And yet I hope I hope that the US just decides even for the short term to get the hell out of there But we'll have to see so they're saying strikes are coming tonight. Well, um, well, we'll we'll we'll have updates as they come

I can guarantee you that and so until then I'm Dave and this is the rush We have a quick update to get to regarding Donald Trump's economic trade war with Canada And yes, he's actually dumber than we thought. I mean, I don't know how else to say this But what I'm about to share with you is Insanity that people are trying to do what they call magma math So Donald Trump claims that one of the I guess negotiating tools with Canada is that we have a trade deficit with them We spend more in Canadian goods than Canadian spend on American goods Therefore we're giving our money away. That's what Trump is making it seem like so he says Well, we might as well not do any trade with him at all that way we can save our money It's it's uh, it's Trump math, right? It's and it doesn't make any sense But again, this is I think people have overlooked how dumb he might be when it comes to what we're actually dealing with I talked to my my wife about this and I was like do you think he's actually this dumb or is he just trying to find like some sort of leverage to get a better deal But then again, they already walked away from his deal

So the best thing possible would probably be to shut up and maybe listen to why they walked away and maybe redo the deal, right? But instead he's actually showing his true cards, which is he's a gosh dang moron. Have a listen to this explain We could do tremendous good for ourselves, but just not trading with countries We lose with the European Union $200 billion a year If I didn't trade with them we'd lose nothing So again, let's relate this to baseball, right? What if my team had the best pictures in the world our pictures were so good But I didn't have a batter that was worth shit I might want to trade one of my pictures for another team's batter And that way we get a mutual mutual deal, right? I get some more hitting maybe he gets a good picture and I still have a strong team That's kind of like a good example of trade works for both ways Trump's making it seem as though we're just giving them money and getting like what we're doing trade But they're giving us crude oil they're giving us car parts things that we need to keep our world going

So again, I don't maybe it's just that he's so old but he's living in a time before globalization maybe and It's not like by stopping doing trade with these other countries that we're gonna all of a sudden start growing our own maple syrup You know what I mean just once wipe with the pen we lose with Mexico $195 billion a year what If I don't trade with Mexico, they have nothing that we have to have I mean Hot tamales tomatoes a couple of things, but basically they have nothing that We need we have oil They have everything I don't want to do that because we get along very well with the president We like the president so Trump the only reason Trump considers trading with Mexico for these quote-unquote hot tamales Is because he gets along with him. He's just doing charity Spectre a lot But if we didn't want to trade with Mexico if we didn't want to trade with Canada would say from 16 to 90 billion dollars You're just by not trading with Canada

Now Canada would be in a heap of trouble They would I don't think that exists because again they do 95% of their business with us So if I say we're not going to trade that means 95% of their business gets wiped out. I don't know what they do but So we should have the lowest interest rate as we used to 25 30 years ago So again all of this is because he's trying to beg for a lower interest rate because He really needs that rate to be low for people to buy homes and take out loans for construction Manufacturing's down all of the things he he wants a low interest rate for you kind of have to earn You have to earn that by having low inflation Inflation is up because of the war the global oil crisis all of the tear of battles all of that is inflationary It makes the cost of goods more expensive so Trump can't get out of he can't do business the ethical way Which would organically lead to the lowering of the interest rates So therefore he's trying to do it by fraudulent means claiming that with there's more jobs the economy is actually doing great

When in fact if it weren't for like this a weird AI bubble that we're in we'd be in like a massive recession right now So there's that's Donald Trump this isn't even primitive earliest man understood the benefit of trade there is evidence of trading activity dating from roughly 300,000 years ago Only this guy thinks that anytime you buy something from somebody you're losing now look Here's what here's where I'll give Trump credit and it'll be not for much, but I'm trying my best I'll give him credit that when you do buy a lot of things you have purchasing power right? That's how you know the Walton family at Walmart drives their prices down I mean they exploit their workers and everybody and you know cut out small businesses But the rich get richer the poor get poor the bigger the credit card the more money that you have the the better margins you can get on other people's material They're gonna want to do business with you. They're gonna want to give you the discount in order for that business So Trump understands that at least what he doesn't understand is something called humanity Something something about treating your neighbor as well

I cover this the other day, but sometimes you give your neighbor a little bit of a discount because There's a million different things you can use your neighbors for maybe your house catches on fire and you're not in town and you need your neighbor Right so again having a nice friendly neighbor in the north they have shared their resources with us their intelligence Their military they fought and died in wars with us and it's not all about the exes and owes It's not all about getting the best deal you can through any means necessary That's like trying that's like trying to win an argument with your spouse You ever tried to win an argument with your spouse? How did that work out for you? You know what I mean? Conceive a little bit let them get the high ground and then walk away going Boy that could have been a lot worse if I proved that I was right I mean a single people proved that they're right You know what I mean married people compromise and these trade deals are it's like marriage It's a car you know what I mean you need me in the room as the wedding Negotiate as the sort of a divorce lawyer in here. It's trying to like you know Keep them from you know making each other bankrupt

So Trump says he would save 90 billion by cutting off trade with Canada Maga math lesson America buys 100 bucks from Canada. Canada buys 80 bucks from America trade deficit equals 20 bucks That does not mean America lost 20 bucks. You got a hundred dollars worth of goods The only thing this man is good at is scamming his stupid base of idiots And again, it's actually when you try to when you try to step into Donald Trump's like lead poisoned head It actually hurts trying to wonder what he's actually thinking It's like if you're a teacher in a math class and you're like Jimmy How did you get that answer show me your math and Jimmy's like you're like oh boy your brain works in wild ways, right? So again, why stop there if all trade is an economic loss then you also shouldn't trade with other states or counties or towns or neighbors Just grow all your own food so all your own clothes build your own homes cars and TVs think how rich this will make you Yeah, look the US has tons of purchasing power We're relatively wealthy country, which is really sad because we use that wealth to I don't know give tax cuts to billionaires on their

You know private jets and whatnot and not you know to road schools and infrastructure But if I had my way we would tax the ultra wealthy and try to provide a world worth living in for all of us I know I'm crazy a crazy lib But either way What was my point? Yeah, my point is is that you know We are able to buy things from other countries that make them less or or maybe you know Maybe it's a country that makes bananas or coffee. It's like that's just what they're good at We just don't do that So we work our other jobs we make our money and then we dole it out nobody nobody in their right mind thinks about Deficits and surpluses in that way, you know, you're just like what's good for me like what's capitalism? And look if the government wants to put a tax on uncertain goods coming from a certain country because it'll help inspire the people in the United States to be able to Bring manufacturing back sure like like if if if Detroit which has a bunch of empty factories If if the US wants to put a in import tax on solar panels from China As a way to encourage people to buy American made solar panels that'd be like okay

You know if you want to like work me through the math on that one like I'm all for it But trump just does is like blanket idea and and what what happens is then these other countries put tariffs on us and it just It's just rising the price, but we're not getting anything cheaper the money's just going to the government for his tax cuts and whatnot So again now we have people asking where's the beef coming from so this wasn't off the rails conversation and again You know god bless regulations You don't know how much you need a good regulation until you don't know where your beef is coming from Johnson has done a fantastic job On be mr. President on the suspension of tariffs on ground beef imports Where is that beef coming from the white house? Well it's coming from different places from which country is coming from Argentina? It's coming from Brazil. It's coming from a couple of other places. We have our inspectors down. It's very clean It's very good and as soon as these people you know, they're heards are increasing They're heard decreased very very substantially during the Biden years during the Biden administration But even from an environmental standpoint, you know, they wanted to decrease your herds for environmental reasons. You believe that one

so We're building up their herds the farmers the ranches are building up their herds All of that mr. President you had said that In quarters had agreed that ground beef would be sold at 25% below market prices So are those countries only Argentina and Brazil or there other countries Well, they could be other countries But right now it's primarily Argentine Brazil, but there could be other countries And we're doing it in a very limited fashion because our our ranchers can handle it But our ranchers really needed a little bit of help and our ranches want the prices to be down to they want to see the prices come down And again, that's just not true right the ranchers don't want the price to come down because we got imported goods cheap It's so it's so bizarre because on one hand this trade war with Canada is making it so that nobody's winning right nobody's winning Canada's going off into you know trade with the European Union in China and do it These other deals and then and then the consumer here is not winning because we now we're gonna have to pay more for Things we're getting already and then when he comes to this cattle deal that the ranchers like they're not we're not supporting them

Because we're bringing in all of this like toxic beef that nobody even wants nobody knows where it came from It's like I mean are they inspecting it and Thomas Massey was trying to push for this bill where your beef will tell you what country it came from like All we want to know is where it came from you know like there's certain salmon. I don't want to eat I don't eat farm raised salmon. It just feels gross to me. I don't know It just you want something ocean caught. I don't know and you want to look at and you go Yeah, I'm not gonna do this Chilean bass that was farm raised in somebody's bathtub No, thanks and again, maybe I got it wrong But at least you should know where your food is coming from and we're just supposed to trust that they've got this Slop they're bringing in that's just grounded all together and now we got prions and mad cow disease now I'm sorry. I start I'm eating filet of fish God knows what's in the filet of fish, but that's what I'm eating now So again, it's like all of these unforced ways that you don't even think government's gonna mess up your life, right? So again, and they're correcting him right so so here we have Twitter owned by Elon Musk big friends of

of Donald Trump right and Here we have his own AI Kind of like telling us that Trump's just lying so Trump says that there's 20 trillion dollars of investments coming into the country Grox says no, Trump has repeatedly claimed figures rising to over 20 trillion investments or commitments under his term But multiple independent reviews find no supporting evidence for that scale The White House list roughly 11 trillion in major announcements pledges multi-year goals trade deals concepts of a plan some US firms Which itself mixes non-capital items and aspirational numbers that may not fully materialize official be a data shows new foreign direct investment at about 232 billion in 2025 Annual private fixed investment runs nearly five to six trillion total with no surge matching the claim So again, everything Trump wants to do is to make it look like the US is rip roaring due to the the terror of battles He's doing it's all bloated and but you know if you're Mark Carney in Canada

After you meet with Trump's people what they must just have a cigarette and look at each other and go god damn like Mark Driscoll is that his name Dan Driscoll Mark Driscoll the guy the secretary of the Navy Dan Dan Mark whatever He when he retired he said he went to go talk to Trump and this was the report that came out and he said Hey, you know, this this war is unsustainable. It's looking really bad And he said all Trump wanted to do was talk about the drapes in the ballroom And he was like god damn this administration is doomed. That's how it feels all of these different companies Uh are kind of like sitting on their hands trying to like kick the can down the road and waiting for Trump to be gone That's what Iran seems to be doing with the war like no deal can be made while Trump's here The deal's not gonna stand for anything. It's not gonna be fair So no one wants to do it. How to look at this in Canada the copper zinc mine in sask Nearly a come nearing commercial production. So they're pulling copper out of the ground over there And um again, you know can it is having this little resurgence their investment markets are performing better than the US

Their employment numbers are higher than the US again much smaller gdp But at least they're showing that they're rallying around a form of nationalism that We don't have right now. We're divided, you know as a nation and um, you know They're being attacked by us and rather than you know play these like woke culture war games like what bathroom You're gonna pee in they're coming together and saying fuck them elbows up and by the way What is this dead animal on top of Trump's head today? So again, you know what you know it's rough listen. I understand sometimes you can't get a trade deal done You know Natalie's printers out of ink if you know what I mean This dry paper and you can't your Melania's not shaking your hand The Iran war is not going your way the beef Scott horse heads in it and now you got a bad hair day What the hell is going on with that hair? Just for men just for Trump if you ask me. I don't want anything to do with that What in the roadkill fell did did RFK shoot something or run over some dog and they just put it on Trump's head

Either way, so that's where he is and anyway. Yeah, Canada's turning to critical minerals into leverage against Trump Yeah, Canada's realizing we're the hot young girl at the bar We got all the drinks being bought for us everyone wants to you know grab ass and um, they're kind of done with their old man USA that's where it's at so we'll see who capitulates We'll see who um, you know sort of blinks in this game of chicken or whatever other metaphor You want out there? US first candidate trade war those are your updates hit the subscribe button We'll have more news as it comes. I'm Dave. This is the right
