#87- 15 Words from My 9/11 story
About this episode
In this special episode of The Real Life English with Gabby Podcast, I’m sharing my personal 9/11 story for the 25th Anniversary of the attacks. As a native New Yorker who was 15 years old and living in Brooklyn when the attacks happened, I’ll take you back to that day. I'll be sharing what I experienced, what happened to my father and uncle who worked in emergency response and law enforcement, and how 9/11 continued to impact my family two decades later. This is a more personal and emotional episode than usual, but it’s also an opportunity to listen to real English through a true story about New York, resilience, loss, and remembering. While you listen, I'll also teach you 15 words that naturally came out of my 9/11 story.
