8. My Story - Part 3: The Gates

My brain heard, “You could have a normal life” and I was seduced. Sign me up. 

I was ready to bypass my own intuition and my body’s inner knowing in order to have a second surgery that could *fix* my POTS. A surgery that has a relatively high chance of long-term complications.

I didn’t catch myself thinking that I wouldn’t have to do the work of grounding to this lifetime on Earth - of releasing the resistance and resentment that I had built over so many years of being in this lemon of a body. I didn’t catch myself wanting to bypass this lesson.

But my cosmic team had other plans for me as the universe presented a gate that I would need to walk through, in order to move forward in healing my past life wound and the resistance to this lifetime on Earth.

I was going to have to answer the question - “What if I don’t get better?”
