In this episode we talk about his hiking experience BEFORE the White Mountain Single Year Grid, including his experience on the Appalachian Trail and Colorado Trail. Towards the end of the episode, Philip tells an INSANE story about the day he almost died white hiking Mount Whitney - a story which shaped his hiking future.
