I have worked with kids in various capacities for over 27 years now and while every child is unique, there are some universal techniques that work. Regardless of if you have a preschooler or a college student these communication tips will help you. (It may even help in other communications in your life)
Here is the catch, because there is always a catch. You really have to want to communicate effectively with your children. This is not the EASY button of communication and you are going to do all the work to set the tone. This won’t work for absentee fathers and people who want to half a$$ it.
