69. When in Doubt, Disclose - George & the Cherry Tree
About this episode
In celebration of the 4th of July, I am revisiting a story about George Washington - George and the Cherry Tree.
In this story, George receives a gift from his father, makes a questionable choice, and is later tested with telling the truth. At this moment, although George may have initially upset his father with the choice he made, his father was proud that his son told the truth.
In the spirit of being honest, I share a phrase that I ask myself on a regular basis to remind myself to display truth and honesty in any situation.
