The world we live in is very different from the world that Gen X-ers and Baby Boomers grew up in, and thus, the things we value and work for have changed substantially. In the past, people worked hard in the pursuit of owning their own homes, raising families, and retiring with enough money to enjoy their old age. But these days, the desire to own a home and raise children is lower than ever before. People don't want to dedicate 45 years of their life to a corporation, and they don't want to commit to 30-year mortgages or 18 years of childcare. So the question is... what exactly are we working for then?
