- ネヘミア・グルー: 最初の指紋研究者。「指紋に関する研究報告」Nehemiah Grew, "The description and use of the pores in the skin of the hands and feet," Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London, vol. 14, pp. 566–567 (1684).
