#50 - Concussion 101: Myths, Assessment and Rehab with Mike Studer
About this episode
In this episode with Mike Studer we cover the most common myths around concussion, particularly the early stage treatment and being too conservative with rest and protection. We then went through all the ways in which someone can be impacted by concussion and the 4 stimuli we can provide to help rehab patients and build a buffer going forward.
Mike Studer practices in Oregon and has been a PT since 1991. He was board certified in neurologic PT in 1995, recognised as Clinician of the Year in the Neurologic and Geriatric Academies of the APTA and received Fellowship in the APTA in 2020.
