About this episode
Let's take the mystery out of the process of changing an accent.
An accent is when you use the sounds and rhythms of your first language while speaking English
To learn to speak English like a native speaker you have to learn to hear the difference between the way you say the sounds and rhythms of English and the way a native speaker uses them. Then you start the process of retraining your ear and mouth to move in this new way.
The science is simple, the process takes time and repetition. But as you are patient with the process you'll have great success in transforming your spoken English.
Want to know what is the difference between you and a native English speaker? We can help!
