49ers settle into Melbourne ahead of Rams clash

0:00Jackie Stanley at the park higher. Jack the 49ers have made Melbourne their second home nearly a week now. Absolutely Laura, but this seems a lot quieter than where Nick McCallum is. I'll just show you behind me. These sprinter vans have been pulling in and out of the park. High it here. We're not far from the MCG where the 49ers are staying and they are picking up players and taking them on what we are doing. We're going to be free time. We're told that they have free time from four o'clock and six o'clock today. We have seen a few coming in and out, not any that I can name, but there are some fans here as well. They're staking out the hotel. There are a lot of fans parked around the perimeter and a lot of security here as well. Let's take a listen to what some of those fans said earlier. So we are from all from Brisbane. We come down for this game and yeah, we just found out that we're from the area where the 49ers are staying. I feel like they're warming up for the game.

1:00It's going to be a tough game and I'm so excited for it. Yeah. You've seen so many 49ers when we're coming out of the airport and then go into the city and now it's kind of evening up as it's getting closer to the game. It's going to be a very great atmosphere at the game. It's going to be crazy. Go ahead! Go ahead! We understand the 49ers may have had a closed training session today, but that is all that their media team have been able to tell us. They've been tight-lipped on exactly what they're plans are, but we know that they do have the jumpstart on the round that they've been making Melbourne their home for a week now. They've been loving the coffee and as we've heard, the coach couldn't get his head around the 17 hour time difference, but they will be hoping that tomorrow that all pays off and that the rams are a little bit tired from landing early this morning.
