It's day three for me in Melbourne, Australia, and I feel great. What's up? Well, going to 49ers down under. He's under my prize picks. I'm Grant Conan, joined by Mod Sports and Brandon Deutsch. We're going to talk all things. Niners this hour. I wanted to start with the jet lag question because I'm here experiencing it. And I think this was the most interesting thing for all of us Americans who came out here to sort of experience because there's a debate among the Niners and the Rams. What is the best way to do this? The Niners taking jet lag very seriously. And the Rams are treating it as though it doesn't exist. So I want to know. And as you can see, I feel great. I'm pepped. I'm peppy. I'm ready to play football. I think the Niners look. I'm glad they came out a week early because I'm out here a week early.

It's fun. But I think they're like a little too nervous about it. I think the Rams might, I think their approach might make sense. Here's why. They talk about it being a 17 hour difference. It's not. Technically it is, but the way my body feels is a seven hour difference. I wake up at seven. It's two o'clock on the West Coast and I feel like I'm seven hours behind. The fact that I'm a day ahead, my body doesn't register that. So I think seven hours is not as bad as 17. And the comparison would be London, which is eight hours ahead of the West Coast. The Rams did this last year. They went to London the day before. They played the Jaguars. They beat the Everloven shit out of them and came home. Well, they had our difference. This time they got a seven hour difference. It's a, it's a longer flight and the flight itself is, is tiring, but I think the Rams are going to be okay. I think the Niners are going to be okay. Ultimately, I don't think Jetlag is going to decide this game, but maybe I'm just a hater. I don't know. What do you guys think? I'm a jetlag hater at this point. I feel like this is going to be a game that if the Niners win, people are going to be

like the Rams are stupid for like going in a day before. Then if the Niners lose, people are going to, oh my God, do the Rams are so smart. This whole thing is going to point to this factor. Yes. They will. And I think Jetlag probably hits people differently. Like, right, you're just, you're a dog like for me personally. If I went to Australia, bro, like I wouldn't feel that shit at all just because I was covering a different cloth, but like that's true. That's true. Yeah. Savage. I think, I absolutely savage. What, Renif? I think grants just tough. Maybe some players are just soft, who knows? Like, you know what I'm saying? Like maybe the Rams won't feel it at all. Maybe they'll be ready to play. Like, I don't know. I kind of like that the 49ers are immersing themselves in the culture of Australia and being there a week early, doing everything they can. Because that's going to not only get them more fans globally, which is something they obviously undoubtedly care about as the global team, the number one team in the globe, according to our boy Alguido, the de facto owner of the team. It's very important for them, right? Yeah. It's very important.

And look, I agree. I think it is very important because it's the brand. Like you look at the big brands across the world. It's Cowboys 49ers Packers, Steelers. Like, you know, you got the, you know, the team. And that Cowboys brand is pretty stale. It's not what it was 20 years ago. Like, I think the Niners definitely have more fans globally, maybe in the country and the United States, the Cowboys have more fans than the 49ers, but even that's close. So I get it. I like what the Niners did. I like that they're getting acclimated. They obviously care more about this game than the Rams, which is why I think they're going to win because everyone's picking the Rams. Everyone's like, hey, the Rams, this Rams, the Miles Garrett's barely practicing, right? Like, Aaron Donald's not going to play. So I don't think at least I think the 49ers, them being there, shows that they can care less about the dolphins game when they come back because they're going to be a little messed up when they come back and they should still be able to beat the dolphins, but they care more about this game against the Rams. Grant, I have a question for you because I just, I kind of feel like if it was the Niners doing the same thing as the Rams, you wouldn't say it's smart.

Let's say if the Niners were doing what the Rams were doing right now, would you still say, you know what, it's kind of smart because knowing you, Grant, I would have a good feeling you big brother. Rams were going in a week earlier. They're getting acclimated to everything. You know, they're getting, I feel like. They're taking it more seriously. Like I like what the others are doing. If the Niners were doing what the Rams were doing, I'd be pissed off. Like, and they're saying what I want to say is like, I'm not knocking the Niners for coming a week early. I mean, they're taking the game very seriously. You can't knock that. And will they be jet lag next week? Yeah, probably, but then they'll face the dolphins. So I understand that, you know, risk reward analysis. I think they made the right call for them. But all I'm saying is I think the Rams may have made the right call for them. And the reason they did it is because they did this last year in London. And I think from their perspective, it's a similar trip. And I think they're right. So all I'm saying is I don't, I don't think this is going to be the deciding factor in the game. I think Sam O'Kawano's broken foot is more important to the outcome of this game than who got here when I do think is funny, though, that the Niners are pretty, they seem pissed at the Rams.

It's like, wait a second. You guys, you guys dragged us out here. You guys wanted us to play here. You don't want to play us as so far. So we're over here as like the ambassadors of America trying to try to do all the stuff to spread the sport to the Australians. And where the fuck are you? Yeah. You was getting that was really because we're taking it on in early. Can we, can I spring something up real quick about that? Because I feel like the Rams, they disrespected the football gods by ducking the home game against the 49ers. And I think that's going to come back to bite him. I mean, teams with this odds to win the Super Bowl, this short of odds, have never won the Super Bowl 20 times with whatever they are. None of them have ever won. I'm not saying the Rams aren't a win. They're obviously the best team on paper. But look at last year Seattle and New England, no one had those teams making the playoffs. They were also the Rams have the same issue as the Niners. They're old. Yeah, they are. Oh, so that's another thing. Why is everyone being so mean to the Niners on first take in all these other shows and not holding to the Rams the same standards?

Because the Rams won a Super Bowl in 2021. Is that the reason is? Okay. Yes. And I get it. I get it. But I'm just saying they should hold both of them to like this is a dangerous thing that they're playing, dangerous game that they're playing both of them. But they're old players, though. They're quarterback just one in MVP. They're defensive and that they just got broke the sack record. True. The guy that just came out of retirement was one of the best offensive tackles of literally all time. So it's like comparing that to plus they have Puganoquo, who's 20, whatever five. Exactly. And they're like, so you can kind of compare it a little bit, but not really plus the Niners guy. Like our orvets do they miss time. Mike Evans at five injuries during training camp. Like also, Donald doesn't need to be good, by the way, until like the playoffs. They're going to they're going to treat this season like the Dodgers, which is why I think that the Niners will win this game. They're not going to care about games. They're going to care about getting into the playoffs and then they're going to be very hard to beat. So as long as they win enough games to get the playoffs, they don't care about this first game. They'll beat the crap out of the Niners in San Francisco, late in the season when they hit their stride.

And the Niners are all being up and injured. And again, there's something to be said for that. Like both teams in the Super Bowl last year lost week one. The Patriots lost to the freaking Raiders week one. Like preseason isn't really even a thing anymore. Training camp is light. You can look at September as a bunch of fluke games as teams are trying to get their feet underneath them and figure out who they are. So obviously if the Niners win this game, it's a big deal, but it doesn't mean they're going to win the division. It doesn't mean the Rams are dead. Yeah, absolutely. It's one week, one week. Let me ask you this. Do you feel like the like the media is disrespecting the 49ers? You brought it up a minute ago. Yeah, it feels like when everyone's talking about the Niners this year, it's all about like, well, I just don't quite believe in them. They get a lot of they have a lot of injuries as opposed to, you know, the Rams or something. Are there people being too harsh on the Niners? I think so before Ma, Ma, Ma, goes and here's why like I've been a big proponent of anti their whole process with signing old players and not drafting well. Like I've been a hater to my own franchise that I love.

But I also give them respect when they deserve respect. And Calshan and still the head coach of the team, he got the team 12 wins last year with nobody's out there. Seattle fans want to say, oh, I mean, they beat the crap out of the Niners. I mean, Fred Warner didn't play Nick Bosadon play. McCaffrey was playing through like an injury that he sustained the previous week. They beat the Super Bowl champions last year at the link injured. And yeah, they're injured. But if Bosad's healthy, if kiddos healthy, I know he's coming off of a major injury. There's a lot of ifs. I mean, Calshan and can absolutely get this team to be a contender. And I'm not saying they're going to win the Super Bowl, but just completely saying that they can't be in the playoffs. That's yeah, like I don't even think Seattle's that much better than them at this point. Because I think Seattle's offense is going to take a massive step back, even though that defense is fantastic. I don't think the media is I don't think the media is like disrespecting the Niners. I think the media is just kind of saying what everyone else is saying are the Niners going to stay healthy.

That's literally what they're saying. Like if they say healthy, they'll be a contender, but I think people just don't think they're going to stay healthy. And that's that's the biggest thing surrounding this Niners team since I've been a Niners fan. It's always if if that didn't happen, if this was a thing. So it's like, I don't think the meat is actually disrespecting the Niners at all. I think they're just being truthful. They're being honest as team can't stay healthy. So what are they going to say? Super Bowl content like on paper, the Niners have a great team, but they get injured. So it's hard to say yeah, they're contenders when they can't say healthy. That's why to meet like Dejan Stribling and Kaylen Black are in Carver Willis and Grayson Hall and are so important to this team. Cause it's like this core has been together for a long time. And it wasn't good enough in 2019. It wasn't good enough in 2023. Like it's not good enough. It's good, but we've seen them. They're old. They're going to break down. They're going to miss games and they need young players to step up and fill the gaps. And it looks like they might have a couple on offense who could do it. I mean, it seems like I don't expect that much from Mike Evans this year. I think he'll have his moments where he's dominant, but I don't think he can do it down and end out.

Out. That's why Stribling so exciting. He got a ton of targets in in preseason. So I understand the disrespect. I feel like they've earned it. They've been so consistently injured. They didn't move away from the substation. They didn't train change their training staff. They're still Russian players back from injury. It's still the Niners. So I get that. But maybe maybe this draft class changes things. That's the wild card. We don't really know how good these young guys are. They might be really good. Stribling could be a dominant. If Cal plays them too. That's awesome. Cal plays the worst. Oh my God. I can't wait for the 10, 10 catches for 40 yards that Debo is going to have in week one. I can't wait. Okay. That's a perfect segue. The PR staff put out the first depth chart. So it's important to know that the PR staff makes it. It's not the coaching staff. That being said, if it was way off, the, you know, the coaching staff might say, what are you talking about? Also, that being said that there are some probably surprises that the coaching staff doesn't want the PR staff to reveal a week before the game. So take this all with the grain of salt.

Debo Samuel starting a wide receiver opposite Mike Evans and Matt Barrow's came out this week and said the plan is for struggling to be the starting slot receiver and to be the backup X receiver, you know, as the understudy for Mike Evans. How does this make you feel? Not what do you think? How does it make you feel? Grant, I'm shocked that they're, I'm shocked at that happening. This is crazy. I'm so, no, it's, it's kind of, it's kind of what I thought with Kyle being obsessed with, with Debo. I just, we'll have to see. Again, Grant, you've said it so many times. Stribbling needs to play this year because if he's not going to play, it's a bad look on the Niners. Debo kept, dude, Debo is, I love Debo and I loved 2021, Debo, but he's not the same. He's not the same. We got to move on from that. Stribbling, dude, this strip, Stribbling in preseason, Matt, he looked so good. Give him an opportunity. I agree. I agree, but two things. One, I do think that I'm going to be very wrong about Stribbling that I was on draft

day and I hope I am because they need him to be good. But I mean, there's tons of guys that look like Jerry Frick and Rice in preseason and couldn't stay on the field during the year. I mean, this is, they're going to play real corners. He's going to be, you know, he's going to have to go up against McDuffie a few times, probably at least Watson a few times. Like, they don't have much separators, but I do feel like yards after they catch is something they could exploit the ramps. I feel like they match up pretty well with their yards after catch aspect. If we know one thing about Debo, we know he's going to go off against the ramps. That's what he gets up for. He gets up to go off against the ramps and see, in Eagles. He loves that stuff. And yes, he's older. I'm not saying it's going to be pretty, but I mean, I feel like this might be a nitty-gritty football game where we all of a sudden, like, two elite offenses and it's like 17 to 14 and Debo is like 10 catches for 42 yards and a rushing touchdown in 20 yards on the ground. See that thing you said about Debo going off against the ramp is what I'm afraid the Niners are thinking because there was was upon a time, once upon a time that was true.

But maybe I'm the only one that remembers 2024. It was such a disgusting season. I feel like Niner fans and Niner people have just like put it out of their mind, but they had a game against the Rams late in the year for like a playoff spot and they had they went to Debo. They gave him like seven targets and three carries and God, he was freaking awful and he dropped a ball that would have been a touchdown and he's a big reason they lost. I am really afraid that this is accurate and that Debo is going to start a week one. For a lot of reasons, I feel like as talented as Shripling is and what he's shown, Kyle is always going to go with the wide receiver who knows his system the best over the quote-unquote best talent. And that's a problem for me. And I understand why Kyle does it. It's like, look, there's so many details in my offense. I can't afford to have you lining up in the wrong spot or not going in motion when you're supposed to. Like, I don't and I get that. But really, I think your job as a coach isn't to put together the most complicated offense is to get the best players on the field one way or another. And if your process leads to Debo starting and playing more than Shripling, then you got to adjust because Shripling can win you this game.

And I don't know that 30 year old Debo can win you this game. If he does, God love you. But I don't think I can't plan for that. I forgot that 20th working. That's when he did that. Oh, it was terrible. In the numbers and the draw. When he throws hands. And that's what like, Brandon, you say like he wakes up for those games. He didn't wake up. But I'm not saying, but Bommaj, I never said I prefer Debo to play more than Shripling. I said that he has that history. Yeah, is that history? And that's, that's definitely, he's going to get up for that game now. Whether that means five yards after the catch per catch and little slants. Like, I'm not saying it's going to be big plays. Ramping is the only guy that can separate on the team besides Watkins and Cowan. So unless Watkins and Cowan are out there, if I see the Marcus Robinson lining up before Watkins and Cowan, I might be like, you know what? I'm going to go with the Rams this game, even though I got a prediction of Rams play. I think the Niners are going to do a lot of heavy personnel in this game. So either three tight ends or two tight ends in a fullback because they're banged up at

wide receiver. You don't have Ricky Peersault. You got Mike Evans, who's been in and out. And you got the rookie, who's good, but you don't fully trust him. So I wouldn't, I think it'd be kind of cool to outdo the Rams at their own game. Just play one wide receiver at a time. Sometimes it can be struggling. Sometimes it can be Evans and just bully this freaking team. Get as many big guys on the field as possible and run the ball. The team that runs the ball more effectively is going to have a great chance to win. And I think the Niners theoretically could win that, that game within the game. And that's why they're going to play Kittle. I think I don't think I think it's going to be he's going to be kind of invisible in the passing game. I think they're going to utilize him as a blocker. Come on. That Achilles. I don't I think they really want to ball about him. They need him out there at the point. That's why he's playing. That's why he's playing. They know that Tondas can't really, you know, Farrell is a bad signing. Like, but they're going to try and use that personnel. Farrell did have a better a better training camp. Like he should. He was seeing us like a top three blocker in the league when they signed him at the tight infositions. He was a trotious last year.

Tondas had a really good training camp too. He can catch passes and pretty trusted. Like, pretty will go to him, lay it in the down and throw it. I trust him, which is something. And then I'm curious to see what kind of an impact. What do you guys really expect from Kittle in this game? Blocking. Well, that's all I want here. Dude, I made a tweet and I was like, I just don't like this because people are talking about like, dude, Kittle looks great in practice. This and that. Practice is so much different from a game. Dude, when he got injured in that Eagles game, he just took a step back and boom, there what like his killings were gone. So I like just block. Even if kills just on the sideline, just chilling. I don't know how they're just that. Play Tondas. I just I don't want these guys to get hurt more than they are. Yeah, I don't want to put this out there like, you know, negative juju, but I'm nervous for Kittle and Bosa. Yes. They're both coming back very quickly. Like as quickly as they possibly could. And you know, there is risk of re-injury. And it seems like if Bosa, like hurts his batella worse, he's done. And if Kittle, like hurts the next thing, I don't know, like it just like Kittle was

breaking down last year and this was like the last of a few injuries. And I'm afraid that that process is going to continue. Greg, were you more afraid of who you more afraid of on the field? A guy that hasn't practiced for Bosa. Bosa. Yeah. I think Kittle like third ACL. Yikes. But Bosa all could just, Bosa could be out there just to like just purely just stop the run and maybe not rush the front. See that to me is even, if he's out there to stop the run, if I'm the Rams, I'm running at him because it's like, what kind of football shape are you really in stopping the run is more tiring than rushing the quarterback because now it's like, where's the block coming from? Is it the offensive tackle and the tight end? And like there's so much you got to do and it's just more physically taxing. It's like shoveling coal. Rushing the quarterback is fun. Now, I'm sure the plan was to have him be out there on past rush downs, but not that Samo's out. I think he, you can't, I said, that's why I'm a little hesitant to pick the Niners to win this game. It, the Niners winning this game, I think depends on Bosa playing great for a lot of snaps.

I don't even know if they should ask him to do that. And do you think he's gonna play a lot of snaps? I like, it's hard to, like he has to though. He has who, what other edge rushers they have? Romello, height. Yeah. Well, Brandon, you want him? If he's not ready to play a bunch of snaps and don't fucking play him. No, because then what are you doing? But these games are important. He can sit out games against these trash teams that they play the next two weeks. Arizona and Miami, if they don't win either of those games, we're picking in the top 10 anyways. So get Bosa's ass out there. What's he been doing all summer? Fuck, dude, he's, sorry, excuse my language. I mean, you, you literally tore your ACL like a year, almost exactly your 11 months. Yeah, but not right. He's second time he's torn it and he's now he's got Patelotend anditis. If he ruptures at Patelot, just say goodbye to his entire career. I'm surprised that he's pushing it. He seems more cautious than that, but maybe he's feeling good. If Bosa didn't miss practice, go ahead. I don't even care. But the missing the four week of practice, that's what really gets me like, I don't know, I don't know. It gets me not.

I don't know. I also, I also, I agree with you in the sense like it's dangerous, but their whole seasons dangerous. You have to take risks if you want to win. Like I wouldn't calculate it. It's smart ones. So I understand these guys playing, but I don't think you're going to expect, I would just wouldn't expect Bosa or Kato to be the reason that I was winning. The issue is that someone else is going to step up and carry him. No one's going to step up on that. He lying in that that's their own fault. They didn't spend enough money on that. That's the line. That's the spirit of the Falcons. That's the spirit of the Falcons. He's going to step up, watch out for him. So we need Kareem. Yeah. Kareem, what's up? Can you imagine how many guys you think the Niners called that were like, hey, do you want to come out to Australia for one game and maybe we'll cut you next week and they're like, no. They called him Kaleem Kareem. I don't know what you play on the Falcons the last couple of years, even though you didn't really deserve it. I need a favor. We need a God. We need you in Australia. All right, man, I'll be in Australia. But then you can cut me right after the game. They cut Brayton Willis. He's got waived. Yeah, I know. And I just saw a thing.

Grant, his girlfriend made a TikTok saying like, hey, guys, go to Australia. Imagine going to Australia. How are you about for the guy? I didn't think of that. That's so messed up. Yeah. He took the trip out here and got waived. And now he's just chilling in Australia. He's getting it about life. How are you going to do that to him? I don't know. That's so great. I want Bowsen to prove the world wrong this year. If he has any thoughts left in that brain of his, put it all on the football. You know what I want Bowsen to do? I want Bowsen to have a great year. Then we trade his ass. Boom. That's what we do. Yeah, that'd be great. But I mean, he was going to trade from. He's getting older. Yeah, he's got three ACLs and the Niners paid him hella money. I think the Niners know they probably can't trade him. I think that Bowsen knows he's probably not going to stay till the end of his contract. And it's going to be an interesting little like slow divorce between the two sides. Like, hey, no hard feelings. We have some great times. But this is ending sooner rather than later. I think because Bowsen has been doing those coffee tiktoks with his influencer girlfriend,

I think that's going to make him healthy for this game because he's going to be drinking a lot of coffee. I am right now black. He's a connoisseur. Looks like his interests are outside of football now. And I respect it. I think he'll be locked in because of that. Once a 30 something year old football player realizes they can make money without, you know, overrising their body. It's kind of an interesting existential crisis. All right. Let's do some prize picks and then get back to the show. There's Brandon. So again, I mean, I'm in Australia and we can't make the prize picks in Australia because they're just not ready for the prize picks yet. I do have this one. This was a hundred bucks to win 1500. I made these prize picks about a week ago. So you could check them out. If you like them, you could copy them. If not, you could do the exact opposite. I got Matthew Stafford more than 263 and a half pasting yards. I think I mean, he's going to be going up against Jaiier Brown. So I'm just saying. And then you got Christian McCaffrey more than 35 and a half receiving yards. I still think he's probably going to get treated as the number one receiver on this team

until stripling asserts himself, Brock Perty, more than 242 and a half pasting yards. I don't know. Are the Niners going to run them all 40 times? They might. I mean, if they want to win, yeah. Where's the killer block bet? You know, he's not in this one. Dejon stripling more than 29 and a half receiving yards. I feel like that's easy money. Love it. Love it. Debo more than 30 and a half. I hope I'm wrong there, but it's Debo and Kyle. And then Mike Evans less than 48 and a half receiving yards. I don't think he's going to be a high volume receiver for this. Mike Evans going to catch a touchdown. That's about it. I think that would be so. He's going to get targets in there. OK, hey, if you want to make my picks or your own picks, go to app.pricepix.com or download the price picks app. New users play five bucks and get 150 in lineups if you win when you use promo code HMA. All right. How about this last week before the season starts. We give one more schedule prediction. Should go each of us go through the 17 games real quick.

Yeah. Brandy, you first, mage, you second, I'll go third. Let's do it. And mage, you can be working overtime tonight because Grant's got a post this and you got to send me a slightly different version for me to post. So it's not copy, copy right of each of us for tick, comp, all right. But all three of us can be in the video. Week one, the 49ers already in Australia acclimated to the culture, shock the world after everybody talks about the Rams and Jake Toges goes for 100 receiving the arts, seven catches. Okay. 17, 14. Okay. Is it my turn now? No, why don't you just go through all the games and you're scared. How do you want to do it? Just week one? I was going to go through. Are we going to go? No, no, no, let's go week one week two week three. All right. That sounds good. Listen, this Rams versus not, I just have a weird, not a weird feeling about this one. I feel like the Rams are like, they're the big dogs. They're going to go into this game a little bit.

Give me the Niners. I'm going to go Niners 21, 14, even the Niners. Okay. I wanted to pick the Niners to win this game. I picked them last week. I'm, I'm starting, I'm having a tough time finding reasons to pick the Niners to win this game. Losing San Mo Kwan who I think is a problem. I think it puts them in a position where they can't stop the run or they have to play both some more than they'd like. And even if they play both on first and second down, a question is ability to stop the run before he's in football shape. And I also feel like the main reason people were picking the Niners over the Rams is because of jet lag, but as someone who's here, I don't think jet lag is going to be a big factor in this game. So I'm, I'm going to pick the Rams. As of today, I reserve the right to change my mind 800 times between now and the game, but today I'm picking the Rams. I feel like the Niners are going to lose. And I do think that San Mo Kwan who's injury is a big deal for them. He's a dirty work. He's a first and second down guy. And I think they need him. Yeah. I thought we were going to go like I do the Rams game, Mosh does the dolphins game and we have a collective schedule prediction.

No, that's not cool. I mean, that's cool. I wouldn't have done it. No, I don't like it. Okay, okay, let's go every game. Okay, screw it. We all agree. We too at home against the dolphins. Do we all agree? Yes. I mean, I don't even. But the dolphins, there is no point in watching 49ers football the rest of the dolphins are the most. The real. You got the Cardinals who to me are interesting because they're like one of these teams that has young talent because they've been drafting high so consistently for the through the years, but like do they have a quarterback? I think the answer, if it's Jacobi percent, the answer is hell fucking no. But Carson Beck had moments and he's like 30 years old. He was in college for about 12 years. He's had moments and a one preseason game. Those guys like that should be an easy win for the Niners. I don't Carson Beck had one good game in a Hall of Fame preseason games. So I'm not going to. I don't know why people even have stocking Carson Beck. Yeah, he looked okay in a preseason game and he hasn't played since that. So I think the Niners absolutely these dolphins and Cardinals absolutely steamroll both of them.

I think this is like, we don't have to talk about these two games. I'm just saying they got a top five what tied in. They got very intriguing rookie running back. And Michael Wilson is a pretty good water saver. So I mean, they got talent. It's young and they just, you know, they're kind of like the Browns. And my like the Browns have a nice young roster, but like you can't really take them seriously because their quarterback is Dishon Watson. So win, win, win, two and one. You guys have met three weeks for. Oh, sorry. I don't know, man. Jacobi percent through 500 yards. He got stuff. He did. He did. Michael Wilson made our corners his bitch. He did. He's a really good player. I mean, I'm not, I think we win, but I don't think it's like a blowout, but Purdy tends to play very well against Arizona. So I'll be. He does. And again, okay, shittier teams week four and third straight home game this time against the Denver Broncos. 125. We guys think it's killer defense. Yeah.

And they have Jalen bottle now. It's bonix. It's not like bonix. Is that great? No. I think this one is like I'm in the middle. I could see the Niners winning and I could see the Broncos winning. Like this one, I'm kind of in the middle. It's just the Denver like then getting Jalen water kind of scares me now too. I think I think I might go with Denver. I'm going with. I'm going with Denver. They're defenses to elite. They have a great offensive line. Niners won't be able to get a sack. Um, yeah, I mean, bonix will do just enough. I'm going to go with Denver on this one the following week in Seattle Sunday. 125 against the Seahawks. What do you guys think? I think they're going to split with Seattle. Like it kind of always happens every year. I think this is probably going to be the one that they like that they'll either win this one or the one later on in the year. So I'll just say that they're going to win this one. I'm going to say that they're going to win. They always win in Seattle. I mean, except when they didn't have their entire team yet Seattle thinks they just absolutely mauled the full healthy 49.

The last time the 49ers were even 90% how they ended up kiddled in that game. They wanted Seattle. So give me the Niners and Seattle. But I do think they'll lose eventually at home. They will split. That's an interesting one. I think I'm going to take the Niners. I feel like they did beat when they did beat Seattle in Seattle last year. It was a very close game. And there was a couple of plays that turned that game. The reguel and mishaps and San Arnold's fumble. So I think the C.O.X. are still a better team. I'm going to go with Seattle here. I have the Niners at two and three at this point. You guys have them at three and two and four. One, I believe. I think so. I have four and one. Four and one. Okay. Washington commanders Monday night football belt to ask coming according to brand. I you who's not on the team. No, he's not even on the team. It's impressive. Oh, it's going to be belt to ask. But it's not going to be in the commanders. Washington sucks. I think that's he's watching. I don't think Washington's going to I think Adam Pierce at a bad job with that roster. Sorry.

He's going to be back with us in a year. If they question, I think you're probably right. So win-win-win next week on the road against the Falcons 10 a.m. body clock game, which isn't ideal, but it's the Falcons, which is very ideal. Yeah. They have those two quarterbacks or two and Michael Penex. That's another team with young talent at the skill positions. It's like it's freaking Penex into us. So it doesn't matter. If the Browns and the Falcons actually had a valid quarterback, they'd actually be a pretty good team. They've got like they got B-john Drake London. They've got guys. It's just they don't have a quarterback. So it's hard to win games. You don't have a good quarterback. That's pretty pretty big thing. I think the Falcons are number one pick candidate. There's just so much. I got the Rams at three and three. You mean you get the Niners at three and three? Let me I'm tripping. I got the 49ers at four and three. I have six and one. Six and one. Six and one. Five and two. Four and three, five and two, six and one.

You only have them losing to the Broncos. Broncos are going to the Super Bowl. So Broncos, they were the good team. By week and then the Raiders at home. That's a great game for the Niners. Great game. That'll be Mendoza's first start. They're going to we already saw that. Yeah. We'll be fine. That'll be a win. OK, next week on the road Dallas. Sorry, Brandon, you go first. I'm going to ask me. Hey, Fernando is not going to be a starter. Yeah, you know, I want to pick Dallas because I think Dallas this year is a better team top to bottom than the 49ers just because of that offense. But Kyle always beats the Cowboys. Give me the Niners at Cherry's World. Yeah. Listen, I've got really good friends that are Cowboys fans and I'm telling them that this is like the best team that they haven't beaten us since what like 2020. It's what what what week is this game week 11 for the 49ers? 10 week 10.

Remember 15. Do we think they might have Michael Williams back through this game? Do we think we're going to be healthy though? Probably not. I understand Kyle owns the Cowboys, which he does. I just think Dallas Dallas's team is your dude. They look like they actually scare me and I hate talking good about the Cowboys. I hate their team. They're fat. I hate everyone on like everything Dallas Cowboys I hate. But genuinely on paper right now, if I had to pick who's in the win that game plus with the Niners injury bug and it's week 10. I honestly think the Dallas Cowboys are going to win that game. So I like the Dallas's team on paper. You look at their defensive line. It's elite. They got a guy in Caleb downs as their safety now. Like their offense is legit. They got George pick and CD lamb. They resigned Javante Williams. Like they're actually they're offensive line is really good. Like they actually scare me. So I'm going to go Dallas. Yeah dude Kenny Clark, Quintet Williams, Sean Gary. Like they're good. D winners. Yeah. They do have television and overshown when he's a healthy linebacker, he's very good.

Well, downs is going to completely change that defense. That's going to be a difference. They're biggest problem as a team was their like cornerback and safety. Now they literally just got a generational safety and by week 10, imagine how good Caleb downs is good. He's already clamping up CD lamb and George pick and Zip practice. Two of the best fighters he was in. Now he's going to go against Mike Evans, Desjohn Stribling. Dude, he's got a clamp with guys up in the eye. It's done. And Romello height are ballin. Then the Niners can win this game. But if they have no pass, they're going to lose. And every time they've beaten the Cowboys, it's because they got in Dax face. They made him move off his spot. They hit him and he peed down his leg. He did it over and over and over again. If you let him just stand there, he will pick you apart. He's one of the more accurate pocket passers in the league. And he has two elite wide receivers to throw to. The Niners don't win those matchups. So I'm Greg. Yeah. I'm picking the Cowboys. I just don't believe in the Niners passers since here. I don't believe that Nick Bosa is going to be great coming off. Well, Nick Bosa.

Will Nick Bosa even be playing this game? That's the biggest. If the Niners are healthy, listen, the Niners are healthy. I think they can win this game. But will they be healthy? I'm seeing us a Niners hater yet I have them eight and one at this point. Eight and one. Or are they nine and one here? No, they're eight and one. Eight and one, right? Going into Minnesota. Well, I have been five and four Mexico City. That's Mexico City. I'm going to start this one off. They never beat the Vikings. They never beat the Vikings. Brian Flores is defense's way too complex for Kyle. I think the Vikings will be pretty good this year. I'm going to take the Viking. So I now have the Niners at eight and two. See, this one's hard for me to pick again because they're quarterback situation. Do we know if Kyle and Murray is going to be good? Or what is it, Jay Chen McCarthy starting this game? We don't know. That's true. But is it this game's in? Oh, no, this game's in Mexico City. Mexico City. I might lean. I might lean Niners on this one. I have a feeling I just don't. I don't like, I think the Niners last time they played against the Vikings,

they had a Sam Donald popped off that game. I just don't trust in Kyle Murray or Jay Chen McCarthy. I do not trust in that's fair. My concern in this matchup is Shanahan and Purdy versus Flores. Flores really whooped that ass last time. And it feel like the Niners often struggles with exotic defenses that have a lot of talent that bring pressure from a lot of places that are unpredictable. That's kind of what the Vikings. I think it's a tough match up for the Niners offense. I feel like the Niners offense could do well against Dallas's defense. But Brian Flores usually is one step ahead of Kyle. I'm picking Minnesota in this game, but I'm a hater. We got next. We got Seattle again this time at home. Yeah, I'm going to go with the split here. So I had them winning in Seattle. I'm now having them at eight and three. I think they lose this game at home because Seattle is going to start playing better football toward the end of the season. I agree. I think this is, I picked them to win earlier on in the year. I think this is where the Niners will lose. I think the Niners lose this game.

Yeah. I just think Seattle's really good. Can you say what? I think they're really good. They just want to super. They're not hungry. That is like a big part of like winning super. They're not the chiefs. They're not the patriots. They're not a dynasty. They don't have the quarterback to be a dynasty. They're a good team off. I could piss them off. Good. Good. I think it takes. They're O.C. Literally has never called a plane his life. It's true. What was it? What was it? It's tied in coach on the Niners. He was. Yeah, I don't know. Next week we got a 10 a.m. body clock game in New York against the Giants. That's a hardball. That's a trap game. I don't think it is. At all. That's like a mental block about playing in that stadium. They won last year. Michael, why don't they? Why don't they ever play this game at home? Why does it always have to be about life? But I think the Niners win. I'm going to go nine and three at this point for them. I think they win. I think they win too. I like the Giants that I get. No, it's got a boost.

No, no, no, no. Rams at home. Lost. I think the first game for me. Yeah, I'm a same as Brandon. I'm going to go. I'm going to go loss December 13th. Yeah, this is going to be a loss. I'm going to go loss to. Oh, you think the Niners? They are not sweet. I get the miners losing a lot of games this year. I don't know. Next week, chargers on the road. Let me guess what, Grant. L, Grant. This guy. Grant, you better you better. Grant, we're going to. We're going to kick it at this game. I'm going to be there. I just think the Niners are always going to have a tough time against elite quarterbacks with no pass rush. Like you just let Justin Herbert sit there. You're going to lose. Maybe they'll have a pass rush at some point this year. I don't, I don't know, man. I'm picking the chargers. They, I don't know. The Niners, the chargers and the preseason, it was Traylants. It's a home game. They have a home game at so far. Chargers have like five fans. I live in LA. I know. It's like, and they live in San Diego and they don't come to the game. And Herbert can't use analytical like he doesn't know what a breakdown defenses.

He's just super talented. I think they have him in hell in this game. I think the Niners win. I think they'll be ten in, what does that make him ten and four for me at this point? Okay. I think, I think the Niners will win this one. I do. Yeah, the pass rush is probably might be a little bit of an issue. I just think they're a little bit more talented than the chargers. Chiefs on the road. Loss. If anyone's picking the chiefs to lose this game, you're delusional. They own they own the 49ers. They own us. Chiefs. This is a loss. Grant, if you don't change your mind, you're going to see loss. Don't say win. This is a loss. Yeah, thank you. Great. 10 and five. I have 10 and five right now for the Niners. Who could grant a little smile? He just, he's loving this right now. Sloving this. I have him at like seven and nine. No, I have him losing a lot of games. Next week is the Eagles at home. Win. We on the very home. And I don't know. They own the Eagles. They own the Eagles. They just got rid of AJ Brown and I don't, McCoy lemon, sorry, Brown and UC, whatever.

Elephant. Yeah, I agree with this. I think the Eagles are falling back. That's a win. Yeah, that's a win. And then the Cardinals on the road. Win. I have him at 12 and five. Okay. I think that gets him the two, the, the six seed, five or six seed. I think I had them at 11 and six. I think 10 and seven. I got him at eight and nine. Eight and nine. I'm not surprised. They could absolutely be 12 and five. Absolutely be 12 and five. That's what they were last year. It's just the schedule is tougher than last year. And after that Raiders game, it's a bit of a gauntlet. And it's, we have no idea who's going to be on the field for this team during that stretch. It starts. Let me just get it clear. The season really starts on November 15th and Dallas. Because from that point on, like the next, it goes Dallas, Minnesota, Seattle, Giants, Rams, Chargers, Chiefs, Eagles, holy fuck. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, eight games in a row that are tough. So they got to be healthy for that stretch from November through December.

Can they do it? No, from, from November 15th to December 27th, they got to be locked, the, no, January 3rd. They got to be locked the fucking. Yeah. But the Rams have an even tougher schedule. So that's, that works in their, in their favor. We'll see. Yeah. By the way, I want to say something real quick. Because in the, in the chat, they're talking about like Oregon and USC, my Trojans are going to beat Oregon in three weeks. They are a better football team. Finally, speaking of owning Oregon has owned us for 20 years. The rain ends in three weeks. What about UCLA football? Watch out. Bring the wind to my being said, what, why would you say that? Oh, so, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. Hey, asshole, why would you put that there? Oso Haltman will push that pocket to help our D.N. Stafford gets the ball out so fast that N pressure is not as important as your interior pressure. I'm not going to analyze that. You were jerk. Max build fix says it, if it rains and the Niners, not going to win. Yeah, because pretty sure. I got a rain issue. It's been raining out here. Tinker 1538 says I'll be at the game in Mexico City.

Niners win. Just because Tinker's there, they're going to win. They're going to make Tinker. They're going to be home game for the Niners. Doesn't mean they're going to win. I mean, unless Kyle magically could figure out a Brian Flora's defense, which never seems to, and Kyle, the thing that I will say, like in the comments, they said they don't lose the Kyler Murray. When was the last time they did lose the Kyler Murray, the Niners? When he ran for that, Kyler is tough on the Niners because the Niners don't do a good job of containing mobile quarterbacks and he wants it out of the pocket and they usually let him. But he's not, I don't think he's going to be connecting with Justin Jefferson as much as Sam Darnal did. Like he's mobile, but it also is Kyler Murray and we've seen what Kyler Murray can do. So we'll see. Plus this is, they're playing him November 22nd. Like isn't Call of Duty coming out? I think it comes out of to where. Is it Kyler a lot tougher to face in September than he is in late November? That's when he's at his best. So yeah, he doesn't really like football.

He loses interest halfway through the season and starts playing video games. I think that's pretty well documented. So he is one of the greatest, he is small, but he's one of the greatest athletes of all time. I've heard he's one of the greatest Call of Duty players of all time. No, I haven't heard that. Probably. I used to love his streams. He vlogging anymore. He used to vlog his day in the life. It was interesting. Yeah, he probably stopped. He probably had to focus on football a little bit more since he wasn't. Who cares, who cares what haters think? Everyone's too soft. All these athletes care on what haters think, dude. There's cares. Anyway, I guess that's our show. This is the last show we'll do before there's been an actual game. Coming up, there will be things to actually criticize and praise. I'm looking forward to it. I have one question. Who do you guys think the MVP for the 49ers is going to be on Thursday? Who do you guys think is the guy that's going to be holy shit? The Niners? This guy was incredible. I think for me, I'm going to either go between struggling or killing Black. I just hope they actually play. I hope it changes.

I was going to say that. Yeah, I had a feeling great. I had to toss his glasses on the way. He was the guy week one last year. He was him. Greg, there's another guy that you like defensive guy cornerback long ass arms. Do you think he's going to play? Do you think he's going to play? He might. He might. I think they're going to try to throw Ronaldo green in there. He's got a hamstring injury, but that's a three week injury. Three week injury. He's out here. So I think he'll probably play. We'll see if he makes through the game, but I like price. I know. I think they're going to go with a lot of heavy personnel. I think they're going to throw to their tight ends and Tonja's had a really good off season. He could be him or could be struggling. Honestly, like, struggling is the element that the Rams can't prepare for. No one knows how the Niners are going to use struggling and that goes to the Niners' advantage. You know how the Rams are going to use Puka. It doesn't mean you can stop them, but you know how they're going to use them. Yeah. Yeah, they got to give him some motivation before the game. Yeah, they got to put a muzzle on him so he stops biting people. Maybe if I didn't come out a week early because of Puka.

I was going to say, Grant, you know this. I don't want you answering this much. I'll give you $5. If you could tell me where Jake Tonja just went to college, but off the dome. God. Off the dome. You can't look it up. You have 10 seconds. Nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, ten for California golden bear. Very close. Oh my god. Very close. What a good guess. You know what it's crazy? I saw a picture of him in a Cal jersey. He said, oh my god, I'm so stupid. I'm so dumb. I think he's one of the more underrated players in the league. Am I crazy to say that? And that's what I'm saying, like, Grant, we talk about using Kettle and I should use use frickin Jake Tonja in this game. He's a dog. He's good. He went to Los Gattos High School. Fuck out of here. He's like a real bear, you dude. He went to Cal. Was he good at Cal? He ran a 4, 7, 7, which is a, you know, Jawan Jennings speed. Not bad. At least he what he did. Are we sure to want it? Why don't you even run a 4, 7, 7, 9? So they didn't really don't the ball very much at Cal. That's a Cal problem.

It's a fucking Cal problem. Same should happen to George Kettle and college too. They don't really don't the ball very much at all. Grant, what's your 40? Today? Yeah. Or like as a young kid. As a young, when I was 19, I ran a 4, 5, 1 on a track with spikes, which I think probably saves off a tenth of it. I'm a tourist. But I'm not, I'm not a, I'm not a tourist. You're like six foot nine. So I'm thinking of four, 7, 4, 5, 4, 5 flat. Wow. We should race next time we get together. I think I'm going to get you ready. You two are in the middle of the three of us. No, I'd lose. My 60s slow because I'm, I'm 66245. I got too much weight on this. It's a baseball thing to say. Yeah, we did 60 video. Baby Radiant says Grant, you just got called up from the practice squad. See you in Australia. Dude, Dejan, love and grant. Dejan, love and grant. The best duo of all time. Damn. That is actually a duo. Dude, they put them out. Emory, you have to be really committed to the bit. And I've never seen anyone more committed to a bit than Dejan love. I haven't talked to you about this.

Am I like that? I'm sorry, but the girls, they're so stupid. How do they not know he was a real NFL player? Dude, he was, his routes were so bad. And why don't they just Google him? Dejan love. Oh, he's not puffing up. He's probably not real. I feel like the people who get over the victims of a scammer like that often are a little greedy themselves. Like someone says, like, yo, I can get you these tickets for this game for cheap. And you're like, oh, that sounds like a great deal. No, it's too good to be true. No, don't be great. Just get the tickets yourself. You know, some people want to say like, I got a, I'm dating a guy from the NFL. And I feel like he was praying on those kind of people. It's like, if you want that, and I tell you what you want to hear, you might believe me. And that sucks. And I think a lot of, you know, growing up is getting caught in situations like that a couple of times and knowing that you can't trust people. It's just, I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna pretend to be you. So I'm gonna put it like a green screen. I'm gonna do like the videos that you do after the training. I'm gonna sub guys that I'm gonna, I'm gonna do exactly what you do. People that were there. You can pretend to be me and I'll pretend to be Ricky Pearceau. And then we'll see who makes more money.

Yeah, let's do it. That'll be fun. All right, guys, thanks for watching. Thanks for being here. I know it's late on the West Coast. I just woke up. Thank you for indulging me. Tomorrow is practice. So I want, it's Sunday here. Tomorrow is Monday. The next three days we got practices and, and quotes and whatnot. So stay tuned. We'll see what Nick Bosa has to say about all this. Thanks everyone.
