After the end of the Cold War, his tour in Germany came to an end, and he transitioned into a role as an adult instructor. Eventually, he was selected to become a basic recruiting instructor, where he realized that coaching and mentorship were more effective than screaming and shouting. This experience led him to discover his passion for coaching and training.
